Reminder that the Mandalorian will be a Disney show going by Disney canon where Mandos are a bunch of feminist Utopianists and that Mandalorian armor is now nothing more than a fashion statement.
Also, this is a Rebels thread. I'm going to be posting mp4s from this mess as I've never actually watched it before and I guess I'm a masochist. Any recommendations for clips I should rip? Any specific episodes or scenes?

It seems this show existed solely for the purpose of milking dry every last piece of Mcquarrie concept art in existence. Was there a single original concept in the entire show? Even the Maul faggotry was stolen from a Tales comic.

Well that, and giving Filoni new wolf material to fap to. And no there wasn't any original art. All of it was taken from unused concept art, even Lothal. Every old Clone Wars episode that had more Filoni involvement than necessary also over did it with concept art abuse because the man lacks any original bones in his body.

Really?!? That was the one thing I liked about the show. I was glad it was a new planet and I thought the idea of an entire series on one planet could work. I feel like Rebels had a lot of potential and they squandered it all by turning it into a guest-appearance of the week shitshow.

Lothal was based on unused concept art from ROTJ for a planet called Sicemon which Filoni used previously for Jedi Crash in his CW. The city itself was mostly Coruscant-Lite.

Wow, I should have known better to give them credit for anything. I just liked how Lothal was a new planet that had both a city, plains, and small towns, I thought it opened up world building opportunities to really flesh out a singular planet.

You give Filoni way too much credit. The man is unoriginal as all fucks, and his idea of originality is take something from someone else and giving it a new name or giving it a new coat of paint and pretending its his own vision, much like JJ.

The purple alien was also based on unused concept art of Chewbacca (which was originally brown) then someone told him it already existed as a species called the Lasat in the EU so Filoni reluctantly used its EU name but that's where the similarities end. Filoni also used concept art from ESB of the Knobby White Spider for his generic spider enemies with no unique attributes but didn't even bother to use their EU names (which is for the best since they deserve better than to be in Rebels). Every "original design" in that show came from concept art. The only original things on that show were his shitty wolf designs which look really out of place when compared to everything else and even have more detail.

That's barely scratching the surface. Before Rebels ended, every week he was putting out pictures and "art" depicting characters riding on wolves. Ahsoka riding a wolf, Ezra riding a wolf, Kenobi riding a wolf, Kanun riding a wolf, clones riding wolves, everyone fucking riding wolves. And then it all ends with Loth Wolves actually being what happens when jedi die without learning how to become ghosts.

I feel like given the emphasis on uniformity in the Empire that can be fairly overlooked as a matter of Troopers having voice modulators in their gear to make them sound as a uniform voice of authority. plus it's pretty funny knowing that TK-455 is a chick with a hamster-on-helium voice while she's threatening scum with languae that would make a lily wilt

That's pretty much what it was. My guess is that the show's staff were originally planning on making a shit ton of planets, until they found out Disney didn't give them as big a budget as Georgy boy. So to make up for lost time, they just fused the assets they already had. The majority of the fucking show's run takes place solely on that nowhere ball known as Lothal. They even put the core of the universe inside it because their budget was so shit.
