This is by far my favorite video game. I love the secondary bounties feature in gameplay and the story is fantastic. I was sad when the female toydarian got killed by Montross.
Does anyone have a link to all the concept art you can unlock in the game?

It's my second favorite after Jedi Academy. The controls aren't perfect, but the story is probably the best in any video game. It bridges the gap between the Jango Fett Open Seasons comics and Episode II

Probably my favorite SW game. Accurate to the lore, great characterization, awesome worlds, and its fun as fuck. Plus it had an unlockable comic.

the difficulty goes off the rails toward the end, but it's fun. I used to have a japanese ntsc-j version of this game and unlike the regular us/eu edition, this one was actually titled "Star Wars: Jango Fett" instead of Bounty Hunter. These days the best way to play it though is with a gamecube emulator (dolphin) for best graphics/effects. Even back then, the gamecube version simply looked better. Better fog, Jangos armor looked shinier, better shadows etc.
Also, the villains from this game (Komari Vosa & the Bando Gora) are featured in this book. Dooku's ex apprentice actually meets Darth Maul.

That's nothing. Alan Dean Foster (debatably the "father of the EU") was briefly hired by Disney in 2015 to write a mind-numbing children's book about that fat fuck alien from TFA's bar scene as well as an adaptation of TFA thinking that would be enough to get the old guard interested.

Most likely the fact that it's just a job for them. Sure, the writers no doubt have their own opinions on things, but they also don't see the point in severing their connections with the mouse, especially if they already have their foot in the door from writing old pre-disney EU stuff. No point turning down a future mouse gig. The more offers you get, the better.

Mark getting roped in was sad as fuck. He said “I’m only in if Harrison and Carrie are in” knowing in his heart Ford would never come back. But Carrie wanted one last ride and Ford either caved to her or the Mouse money. Hamill followed suit, thinking George would be involved. Then they killed Han and Fisher died and left Hamill alone. Dude kind of got the rug pulled out from him and got stuck in this shitshow alone

I just read this nice comic and my god, it really is clear to me now that the rape of SW actually started before Disney, with Filoni (and the help of Lucas) to make a cash grab childish rehash of the EU.

The evidence suggests Filoni didn't work nearly as closely with Lucas as has been claimed, and went as far as to not show certain parts of an episode to Lucas before airing because Filoni knew he wouldn't approve of them.

One thing I know is that there were a lot of rumors going around that Lucas himself was the one who told Filoni to not use Revan or Bane (original design) as ghosts in the Mortis episode, yet later Filoni revealed that was entirely his choice in DVD commentary, claiming to be doing what he thinks would fit with the "original vision" of SW. George wasn't even that involved outside of the first 2 seasons and the last episodes.

Marvel is now shitting on Jango Fett
In Disney canon, this game and Open Seasons never happened, JFL. Imagine how much of a dipshit you have to be try to follow up Open Seasons and then have the audacity to claim it never happened when it was one of the best Star Wars comics.
Just look at their version of the moons of bogden compared to Open Seasons. Embarrassing. >>24205

AHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH i couldn't even get past the first page!! holy fucking shit. It's like a fucking horrible, lobotomized parody aahhhh fuck that is excruciating.
also that that article..
>"Jango Fett is not a Mandalorian… that's something that comes directly from Lucas"
t. retarded furfag obsessed with cowboy hats.
when your only real sources for this quote are from an untrustworthy in-universe character with hatred towards Jangos-type and what he represents or the deleted tweets of a useless balding nu-male from (((LFL storygroup))), you know for a fact that this meme is on it's way out. In fact, the meme never held any water even among casual fans. It just doesn't work, especially if you have to constantly remind fans to not call Jango a mandalorian. Disney-lore is such an embarrassing mess. It was one thing when the EU took collateral damage from TCW, it's another thing when you don't even have emergency-EU to fall back on and you literally have to re-extrapolate everything from 1 cartoon show, the films and the ambigious, dishonest, paranoid "what would lucas do" precedent that he himself would cringe at. The EU had the exact opposite directive and encouraged artists to go crazy, which allowed for creativity to thrive and eventually spawned interesting webs of continuity such as Jangos original backstory. It was done at the right time with the right enthusiasm. How on earth these people actually believed they could just "reboot" that and do it better (way beyond the franchises prime) is beyond me. In fact, judging by the first page from that comic alone, I've come to the conclusion that no one in LFL actually even believes in what they're doing anymore, they know it's a lost cause and they just want to keep their jobs. They're just hoping the fans don't call them out on their bullshit that they're paid to sell. What a massive scam. People that spend time on nu-wars licensing are bigger suckers than people that defend the new movies.

I can safely say my like for the Shadows of the Empire game isn't nostalgia, since I didn't play the game when it was newand couldn't have, on account of it being older than I am by about a year or so. It's pretty good other than some of the vehicle sections being wonky, especially the speeder section, and the physics being tied to framerate on PC. If you want a Star Wars game that's objectively shit, you're better off digging through some of the GBA titles like the Episode II video game- you can almost smell the pure ass emanating from some of them.
