there's a much more straightforward explanation for Jake Skywalker, which is that cultural marxism hates white male heroes. if you're a white male, you have to be soyboy, tranny, cucked, pathetic, etc. and in a larger sense, cultural marxism hates Western heritage, and hates timeless stories with identifiable archetypes and morals. if they can't destroy it, then they subvert it and attempt to replace the original with their propaganda. that's the ideology behind Disney Wars, and behind all these other SJW reboots.

not only is Lord of the Rings a great modern epic, but it flat out reveals the hand of cultural marxism. Sauron wants a globalized world without borders, as opposed to the populist Western nations who want to maintain their traditions and independence. Wormtongue and Saruman are analogous to their manipulation and subversion of institutions. the Dark Powers can only corrupt things to their will, never create, just as SJW output consists of ruining things made before they were born.
best believe the cultural marxists are saving their largest, spikiest dildos for LotR.

It does make me wonder how would the SJW's go after Lord of the Rings.
The movie only came out during 2001-2003 and unlike star wars, special effects technology hasn't really advanced beyond the point where modern special effects can ape the originals. So a remake, even an all female remake, would be a very hard sell both to audiences and to studios.
The path of least resistance I could imagine would be a sequel trilogy, but unlike star wars Lord of the Rings hasn't been written to accommodate a sequel.

Did you see the catastrophe that was the Hobbit trilogy? It had interspecies romance (at least Arwen was half human) and muh stronk wimmins. Just take all the bad stuff from those movies and crank it up to 11, with that TLJ-style degradation of past heroes thrown in, and you'll have a good picture of what to expect.

Accusing Tolkien of racism and crypto-biggotry isn't anything new. Deconstructionist critics have been trying to tear down Middle Earth over their views of things like "orcs=niggers" for decades. I'm pretty sure even Michael Moorcock insinuated it in the past.

yes, LotR is a must-read. Middle-earth is a rich, immersive place. it's also had massive influence on modern fantasy as whole. I'd recommend starting with the Hobbit – it's a fairly easy read that gets you acquainted, and it's a prequel to the main books.

They weren't niggers, though. If anything they were analogs to Nazis considering how Tolkien wrote The Hobbit. People who can't make anything notable on their own feeling big through iconoclasm and contrarianism.
>>18230
The fantasy affirmative action shit is extra frustrating because it's doubly unnecessary. There are already non-white men in LotR. Since the East Men are an Arabian pastiche, their tribes are noted for interbreeding among the leadership, and blacks were part of the Arabian empires in real life, they could have made the character have origins from free space in that portion of the lore. Instead they cast a Gondorian as a dark black man and dared the public to say something about it with a shit-eating grin.
It betrays how very little they understand about the IPs they're writing in. Same thing in Star Wars where they turn the protagonist of Star Fighter into a black guy but for some reason kill off Moff Panaka in a Princess Leia light novel. They kill Depa Billaba as a motivating sacrifice for Kanan (another white guy). Then they have the sheer gall to complain there aren't enough PoC and women in Star Wars. If they didn't think they'd get away with making Lando pansexual, he would have been killed off in some Marvel comic as well.
The only alternative explanation is that they're aware of the well-written female and dark-skinned characters already present in the lore but their higher goal is to kill everything that came before them and shill their inferior creations absent the competition.

This fucking faggot. JewTube if you want to harass him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8O7DSkKe_4, time into the video: https://youtu.be/N8O7DSkKe_4?t=5m30s
His over-simplification and assumption of events, coupled with his mocking tone, has led me to despise him. Lucas isn't absolutely great of course, but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
He was extremely pissy over Wagner in one of his videos (Theme vs. Leitmotif), and his attitude has led me to believe that he might also be Jewish.

How the fuck did such a video get so many likes? This has to be one of the most uninformed "opinion" pieces I've ever seen. Nothing but personal assumptions and awful views on what "art" should be.
<i know nothing about music but I love to hear you talk so passionately about something YOU love and i'm learning a lot! ! ! !

The rebels want to reinstate the bureaucratic nightmare known as "The Republic". Republics are inherently unstable and degrade into torturous empires like radioactive elements. These Republics step on freedoms slowly, lightly and insidiously at first - the lock-step movement towards corrupt empires is obvious and troubling. Ergo the rebels are no friends of freedom or prosperity, but obviously The Empire and all version of the Galactic Republic aren't either. If those Rebels really wanted to maintain a world for peace and freedom they should have fought to restrain the Republic, toppling the obviously oppressing Empire is nice and all but it's awfully late.
The only governing body that could have turned out well was the Confederacy and they were just used as pawns to create The Empire. Power is great when you hold the reigns but imagine how much better off everyone would be if the wealth of constant peace and trade were allowed to flow freely. The droids and cybernetics are a nice bonus.

The amount of sheer suicide missions he would make them do would exterminate any battalion without Standard Republican Issue Plotarmor.

The whole thing basically feels like every 13 year olds predictable fanfiction about what they wanted Vader to be like while devoid of any real creativity. And the whole schtick about making lightsaber crystals "cry" to make them red and evil is shit and is just ridiculous. And if we follow that logic then one has to wonder why Windu wasn't kicked out of the order for making his lightsaber partially cry.

Yep, it started out as a matter of necessity (it would be awkward if a Sith went to Ilum to find a crystal and ran into a Jedi), but it became tradition–as each Sith forged his own synth crystal, he was encouraged to channel his personal hate and anger into it as he did so. Goddamn, old lore was so complete, I still can't believe nu-wars cucks thought crashing it all with no survivors was somehow "for the best." Even jokes like Skippy the Droid are higher quality than the absolute best stuff that the mouse has put out.

Not only that, synth crystals were just a tool of expediency. The banite sith overgrow the use of lightsabers, as Palpatine mused, they only used as "an affectation", to "mock the jedi". >"The Sith grew past the use of lightsabers. But we continue to use them, if only to humiliate the Jedi".
They were so stepped in the Dark Side of the Force and so adept at politics, that lightsabers were no more important than a blaster or any other tool.
