CHRISTCHURCH, NEW ZEALAND RITUAL ABUSE CASES
Christchurch Civic Crèche
Peter Ellis, a child-care worker at the Christchurch Civic Crèche in New Zealand, was found guilty on 16 counts of sexual abuse against children in 1992 and served seven years in jail. Parents of the alleged abuse victims were entitled to claim NZ$10,000 (equivalent to about US$11,000 in 2010) in compensation for each allegation from the Accident Compensation Corporation, regardless of whether the allegations were proved or not. Many victims' families made multiple allegations. Four female co-workers were also arrested on 15 charges of abuse, but were released after these charges were dropped. Together with six other co-workers who lost their jobs when the centre was closed, they were awarded $1 million in compensation by the Employment Court in 1995, although this sum was reduced on appeal. Peter Ellis has consistently denied any abuse, and the case is still considered controversial by many New Zealanders.[76]

Other Christchurch Cases
Prior to the crèche case, there were a number of other multi-victim abuse panics in the city. It has been alleged that a single group of social workers was involved in all four hoaxes. No charges were laid in any of the cases:
- The Ward 24 case was named after the children's ward of Christchurch Hospital. In 1988, the New Zealand television program Frontline revealed that large numbers of children had been diagnosed as having been sexually abused (often by their fathers) and removed from their families. These conclusions were based on manipulative interviews of children at the hospital. An investigation found the allegations to be baseless.
- The Glenelg Health Camp in Christchurch is one of a network of camps for underprivileged children in New Zealand. In the late 1980's many, perhaps dozens, of children mass-misdiagnosed as having been victims of sexual assault, often by their fathers. The charges were later totally discredited.
- A family in Christchurch were subjected to allegations that the father was sexually abusing his children. The allegations were later found to be baseless.
- A belief circulated about a massive sex and kiddy-porn ring involving prominent adults in the Christchurch community - including businessmen, judges and members of the Masonic order. The police conducted an investigation in the late 1980's and early 1990's but turned up nothing.

The wacko pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory has some friends in high places in South Carolina, where State Rep. Lin Bennett (R) has been posting on Facebook about her belief in QAnon.
QAnon is a kind of mega-Pizzagate, premised on anonymous internet posting that that claim that Trump is about to arrest top Democrats and either ship them off to Guantanamo Bay or just have them executed. QAnon has been linked to several violent incidents, including a Seattle stabbing and, incredibly, the recent murder of a mafia boss.
Bennett, who represents a Charleston-area district, has been posting about QAnon on Facebook since at least last year, even helping to “decode” the QAnon “clues” for her Facebook friends.
Last April, Bennett posted a guide to QAnon, calling it “a gem.” In September, Bennett added a series of QAnon clues to her Facebook page.

"QAnon is attacking a random woman [Rachel Chandler] in a disturbing and dangerous way"

When anonymous conspiracy avatar QAnon blew another prediction, this time one that promised unspecified “PAIN” at the end of a 21-day countdown, the poster’s followers do what they always do: took it in stride.
But disturbingly, the QAnon poster refocused the subject of their cryptic posts away from the deep state and the ever-approaching Great Awakening and onto individual people. First came a series of portraits of Obama-era officials that followed posts referencing words like “kill” and “ammunition.” This came just days after the 8chan-driven massacre in Christchurch, New Zealand---and the posts were seen by many as a kind of hit list.
But after that, Q became hyperfocused on one particular person, and it’s someone that has no political footprint whatsoever: a photographer and casting director named Rachel Chandler, a member of the newspaper-dynasty Chandler family.

Q made a seemingly endless stream of posts referencing Chandler, insinuating that she took a 2017 picture of Bill Clinton and registered child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein (whose light prison sentence handed down by current Trump cabinet official Alexander Acosta is currently under investigation) hanging out together in a pool.
Beyond that, QAnon accused Chandler of “procuring” “girls” for Epstein, having her photography studio funded by elite Satanists who used it for rituals, flaunting Epstein’s “sex and torture room victims” with her pictures, having a link to a still-unexplained (yet supposedly horrific) event at the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, of being “100 times” worse than cult-linked actress Allison Mack, and of being “the key” to the massive trafficking ring at the heart of Pizzagate.
All told, QAnon made nearly 30 posts referencing Chandler in some way, finishing with a link to the FBI’s tip website. The bullshit implication Q wants to make is clear: This woman is involved in things so terrible and evil that she must immediately be taken down by federal authorities. Or worse.
This isn’t even the first time QAnon has gone after Chandler, who did not return a request for comment from the Daily Dot. The poster attacked her in April 2018, linking her to supposed sex-trafficking related pictures on Instagram.

An anti-immigration populist party has won the most votes in elections for the upper house of parliament in the Netherlands, days after a shooting in Utrecht, robbing the governing coalition of its majority and forcing it to seek new alliances on the left.
In a further fragmentation of Dutch politics, the Forum for Democracy (FvD) party of Thierry Baudet, a flamboyant former academic and columnist, is on course to win 12 seats in an upper house containing a record 12 parties, none with more than 12 seats.
Launched in 2016, FvD won just two seats in elections to the lower house in 2017. But with more than 95% of votes counted in the provincial elections, it looked sure of being the largest party in the senate along with VVD, the party of the prime minister, Mark Rutte.
“We stand here in the rubble of what was once the most beautiful civilisation,” Baudet, 36, told cheering supporters late on Wednesday in a speech peppered with classical and literary references. “We won because the country needs us.”
Accusing Rutte of ignoring voters, he said the “stupidity and arrogance” of the elites had been punished. FVD campaigned on a platform calling for more direct democracy and less immigration, and against what Baudet refers to as “climate-change hysteria”.
A proponent of Dutch-first cultural, social and economic policies, Baudet wants improved relations with Russia, opposes the euro, and has called for the Netherlands to leave the EU -- although he has since said he will see how Brexit plays out first.
Newspapers reacted with surprise to the results, which pollsters said could have been influenced by the deaths of three people in a shooting in the central city of Utrecht on Monday. A Turkish-born man has been arrested in connection with the attack.
Authorities have not yet determined a motive but have said they are still taking seriously the possibility that it was terrorism. Baudet, who unlike politicians from other parties continued campaigning after the attack, blamed the incident on the government’s lax immigration policies.
“We are being destroyed by the people who are supposed to be protecting us,” he said. “Successive Rutte governments have left our borders wide open, letting in hundreds of thousands of people with cultures completely different to ours.”
The four-party coalition led by Rutte’s VVD party lost seven seats to fall to a total of 31 and will now need to rely on opposition parties, including the popular Green Left, which doubled its seats to eight, in order to pass legislation.
“We are going to have to get to work,” Rutte said. “More coffees, more phone calls. I’m counting on the country remaining well manageable with this result.”
The Netherlands has a tradition of flamboyant populist leaders running back to Pim Fortuyn, who was assassinated in 2002. Baudet appears to have taken votes from the country’s previous favourite anti-immigration leader, Geert Wilders, whose Party for Freedom (PVV) saw its senate seats slump from nine to five.
The upper houses’s final makeup will be determined in May. Analysts have said the populists’ improved performance will not easily be translated into increased clout in the upper house, since the other parties have pledged not to work with them.

Two sources familiar with Epstein’s finances tell The Daily Beast they believe Epstein dropped as much as $2 million into MC2 to get it started. (Brunel has denied that Epstein funded the agency.) “Jeff put his money up for this guy to get Jeffrey these young girls. That’s a front for Jeffrey’s securing more and more young girls,” one longtime Epstein confidant said.
According to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Epstein used the agency to lure underage prey. In those court documents, one alleged victim accused the billionaire of “deliberately engag[ing] in a pattern of racketeering that involved luring minor children through MC2, mostly girls under the age of 17, to engage in sexual play for money.”
Additional court documents filed in Florida by lawyers for some of Epstein’s accusers suggest Brunel procured young models by offering them visas. Once in the country, some of the models were allegedly funneled into Epstein’s various mansions and then victimized.

According to the Daily Beast, the public official has used her Facebook account to spread the gospel of QAnon, whose disparate and unproven theories are largely based on the idea that government bureaucrats are working against Trump and his agenda as part of the "deep state," a phrase that Trump himself has adopted in attacks against the Department of Justice, where special counsel Robert Mueller is currently investigating Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and possible collusion with the Trump campaign.
Last year, Bennett posted a guide to QAnon and called it “a gem," the Daily Beast reports.
“To say they are ‘interesting’ is an understatement,” Bennett wrote after posting a series of QAnon clues to her page in September. “Wow! Just wow!”
When one friend asked her about a QAnon-related post, she replied, “They’re legit. And they haven’t been wrong.”
The group is widely considered to be connected to the Pizzagate conspiracy theory, which alleged that Democrats ran a secret child sex ring from a Washington, D.C. pizza shop. That idea inspired a 28-year-old North Carolina man to fire a rifle inside the business in December 2016 in an attempt to "self-investigate," according to police.
QAnon followers also believe that Trump's opponents are being secretly charged with crimes and sent to Guantanamo Bay, and some supporters have taken to accusing celebrities of being pedophiles.

In 2012, Bennett, then the chairwoman of the Charleston County Republican Party, was caught on video attempting to discourage a state House candidate from filing to run.

Bennett didn't offer a disclaimer. She didn't say that the claim needed to be factchecked. Nope. In fact, Bennett called it a "must see" video.

After watching the video, it's clear that the lady who inadvertently alerted the Republican masses to Obama's dastardly plan isn't the most credible of sources. Truth be told, I don't see her sitting in on campaign strategy meetings with Obama and David Axelrod. A common decryption method using modular addition is modulo 26 where letters A - Z get assigned a numeric value. Often A=0, B=1, C=2 and so on. Usually this is used to add a cipher text and encrypted message together to produce the decrypted answer.
If you take just the numeric value assuming A=0 and add the numbers you get the letters VCE.

In addition, people associated with Comet Ping Pong began removing references to their employment there in their LinkedIn profiles.
Perhaps most interstingly, however, a DDoS (Distributed denial-of-service) attack was launched on 4Chan immediately after the Alefantis Instagram account led researchers to a guy name Arun Rao. DDoS attacks prevent users from accessing websites by overwhelming the servers. #Pizzagate researchers found he was “liking” all of the posts that featured young children, so they looked at his Instagram as well.
As soon as 4Chan users began investigating Rao, 4Chan.org began displaying all the signs of a website under DDoS attack. The likelihood of such an attack being unrelated to developments in the investigation is close to zero. So who is fighting back, and what are they trying to bury? Other than being an attorney with the Department of Justice --- sometimes involved in prosecuting child pornography cases — there isn’t much to be found on him. Predictably, his Instagram has since been set to private as well. Given the DDoS attacks’ timing with the discovery of his Instagram, he may be worth investigating further.
Is interference with the #Pizzagate research evidence that there’s something to the claims? It’s worth mentioning that if the evidence was not truly incriminating, leaving it up would only discredit the investigators by revealing them as paranoid, tinfoil hat-wearing loons, and that scrubbing evidence (as has happened) would only increase suspicion. How A QAnon Conspiracy Theorist's Claims Of TSA 'Mind Control' Made Trump's Twitter Feed
The conspiracy-theory-to-president pipeline is short.
The information pipeline that runs between a cult of dangerous conspiracy theorists and the president of the United States is very short.
Donald Trump retweeted a video late Tuesday night that originated from an account called Deep State Exposed, a subscriber to a QAnon conspiracy theory, which tweeted that Transportation Security Administration officials are “perverts” capable of “mind control.”
Trump may not have seen the original post, but the video in question ― originally taken in 2017 and featuring a young boy being frisked at a TSA checkpoint ― made only two stops between Deep State Exposed and one of the biggest platforms in the world.
The video was originally posted two years ago when a woman filmed her son, who had a sensory disorder, being frisked at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, according to The Washington Post.
On Monday, Deep State Exposed resurfaced the video, tweeting, “Perverts at TSA busted detaining and fondling young boys!!!” The account --- which is run by Jeremy Stone, a conspiracy theorist author, per the Post — followed up with a rant suggesting that the TSA is full of pedophiles. “TSA goes out of their way to hire high school dropouts with an inclination for sexual perversion. It’s mind control!!!”
That tweet was picked up by far-right celebrity and conspiracy theorist James Woods, regurgitated by comedian Larry the Cable Guy, and then retweeted by the president.
The content might have been innocuous had it not come from an account that peddles QAnon conspiracy theories. Its followers believe, among a laundry list of other fantasies, that Trump is working alongside an anonymous high-ranking official (dubbed “Q”) to unearth a global cabal of elite pedophiles. Those beliefs drive them to do increasingly violent things.
One prominent QAnon account with 21,000 followers, Bards Of War, tweeted on Tuesday a list of prominent pols and investigators ― like former FBI Director James Comey and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch ― alongside a notice that they’d been “designated” as “capture or kill.” The owner of Bards Of War later said the account was hacked and deleted the tweets. But Bards Of War also reacted to Trump’s TSA tweet, writing, “buckle up. No one is safe.”

Another apparent follower, murder suspect Anthony Comello, scribbled “Q” on his hand in a New Jersey courtroom and showed it to the cameras after he allegedly killed the boss of the Gambino crime family.
HuffPost has previously reported on QAnon’s move from the online ether to real life, where the set of conspiracy theories will undoubtedly lead to violence. And now, QAnon has a presidential mouthpiece. The Deep State Exposed account says Trump has retweeted it nine times, and the video that Trump parroted this week now has more than 3.6 million views.
On Wednesday, Trump said at a press conference that he tweets to subvert the “fake and corrupt” media and “get honesty out.”
