ICE Released 107,000 Illegal Alien Family Members in 3 Months
The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released 107,000 illegal alien family members into the interior United States in the three months since Dec. 21, 2018, according to Nathalie Asher, the assistant director of the agency’s enforcement and removal operations unit.
Asher said ICE released 1,000 family members in a single day, a number she called “staggering.”
The releases are due to the “catch-and-release” practice often criticized by President Donald Trump coupled with a recent surge of families crossing the southwest border.
“I don’t have a comparison to what it was last year, but I think we can all agree that it was nowhere near this number,” Asher said on a call with reporters.
ICE has only 2,500 beds to detain alien families in the interior. Those beds are dedicated to specific family units, like a family headed by a single mother. The other immigrants are quickly released into the interior.
The number of arrests carried out by ICE agents dropped by 12 percent in the first quarter of fiscal year 2019 compared to the same period last fiscal year, according to the latest data from the agency.
Nathalie Asher said that the drop is due to ICE having to shift resources to the “absolutely unprecedented” crisis on the southwest border.
“I have had to redirect resources in response to the southwest border influx of this growing number of particularly family numbers that are coming into the United States,” Asher said.
ICE arrested 34,546 illegal aliens in the fiscal year 2019 down from 39,328 arrests last fiscal year. More than 64 percent of the aliens arrested were convicted criminals, according to the agency.

'Second Amendment Sanctuary' Cities, Counties, & States Spring Up Across The Country
A growing number of states, counties, cities, and towns are declaring themselves “Second Amendment Sanctuaries” and are refusing to enforce gun-control laws that infringe on the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
While adopting ordinances and resolutions to defy gun laws isn’t a new tactic, momentum is rapidly building – likely in response to increasing calls for more gun control at state and federal levels.
Sheriffs in several states say they will NOT enforce gun control laws.
Sanctuary counties and towns are passing resolutions that state no funding will be used to enforce unconstitutional laws and that the sheriff will uphold his oath to the Constitution instead of enforcing laws that violate the Second Amendment.
County sheriffs are, legally speaking, the last line of defense in the battle for gun rights:
Federal agencies do not have state powers. Due to the Constitution’s structure of dual sovereignty, the feds have no authority to enforce state laws. Furthermore, states cannot be compelled to enforce federal laws. (source)
Here’s a rundown of the states with jurisdictions that have adopted Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions.
Colorado
In Colorado, 23 out of 64 counties have adopted Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions, and others are considering implementing similar resolutions. Legislators and sheriffs in the state are pushing back against House Bill 19-1177, a red flag bill that will likely become law soon. Officially called Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPO), “red flag” laws permit police, healthcare providers, or family members to petition a state court to order the temporary removal of firearms from a person who may present a danger to others or themselves.
Weld County recently joined the growing list of counties in Colorado that have passed Second Amendment Sanctuary resolutions in response to the impending red flag law.
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer, one of HB 19-1177’s harshest critics, said “The severity of this bill cannot be overstated. The name of this bill is the Extreme Risk Protection Orders. I think that’s a façade, and I think it’s fraudulent. I think actually, this bill should have been titled: ‘The Extreme Order to Confiscate Your Firearms, Eliminate Due Process, and Violate your Constitutional Rights Bill.”
Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams agrees:
“The bill is so riddled with constitutional problems that it makes it hard to understand how professional lawmakers could have constructed something so terrible,” Reams said, adding the bill, “raises some serious concerns about due process, in that a person can have their guns taken away and their rights violated, all without ever having a chance to appear in an initial court hearing and cross examine accusers and witnesses in person. In legal terms, this is an exparte hearing.” (source)

Last August House investigators interviewed FBI deputy assistant director Jonathan Moffa about the Trump dossier, the collection of sensational allegations about Donald Trump and Russia compiled for Democrats during the 2016 campaign by the former British spy Christopher Steele. Republican lawyers had a simple question. Had the FBI confirmed any of the claims in the dossier?
Moffa's response set a new standard for non-answers.
"So, I like to talk about this in kind of a living sense," he began. "Though, because the idea is, you're never – you're constantly evaluating that reporting, you're constantly looking at incoming intelligence streams and investigative results. It's not a snapshot in time thing where you would look at reporting and say, it is – we have nothing to refute this today."
Moffa had more. "You have to constantly be sort of doing that," he continued. "And so, our analytic process in looking at this reporting and all reporting, really, is that more ongoing sense. So at the time, we are constantly re-evaluating, as time goes on, is the information here supported by facts we have elsewhere, or refuted by facts we have elsewhere?"
OK, said a frustrated Republican lawyer. What about the dossier? "I was just curious if you analyzed or verified every fact that was in these individual [dossier] reports as they're coming in."
"Got it," said Moffa. "So I have answered that. We, in an ongoing way, were looking at those facts, and doing that research and analytic work to try to verify, refute, or corroborate."
That's how it has gone for Republicans trying to find out whether the dossier's allegations have been corroborated. For more than two years, since the dossier was made public by Buzzfeed in January 2017, Republicans have asked the FBI what it has done to try to verify the dossier's key allegations. They've gotten nowhere, apparently because the FBI has never been able to verify the dossier's key allegations.

WASHINGTON (Opinion) — Sixteen years have passed and the memory of the Iraq War is distant for many, save for the millions of people — Iraqi and American alike — who saw their lives destroyed by one of the greatest lies ever sold to the American public.
Yet, while plenty of Americans sleep easy thinking that such an atrocity as the invasion and occupation of Iraq could never happen again, the U.S. government has continuously been involved in many smaller, equally disastrous wars — both seen and unseen — largely thanks to the fact that those who brought us the Iraq War remain both respected and still present in the halls of power.
Indeed, the only thing the domestic outrage over the Iraq War seemed to accomplish has been a massive effort waged by the government and the corporate elite to engineer a public that doesn’t complain and doesn’t care when their government meddles or invades another country.
For many Americans today, much like the war itself, the outrage over the Iraq War is a distant memory and comparable outrage has failed to emerge over any other U.S. government crime committed or contemplated on a similar scale — whether it be the “regime change” invasion of Libya, the ongoing genocide in Yemen, or in response to crimes the government is now setting up.
Our forgetfulness has informed our silence and our silence is our complicity in the crimes — past and present — orchestrated by the neocons, who never left government after Iraq but instead rebranded themselves and helped to culturally engineer our passivity. As a consequence, we have again been hoodwinked by the neocons, who have transformed America in their image, creating a nation of neocon enablers, a nation of passive neocons.
Iraq War lies revisited
Though the lies that led the U.S. to invade Iraq are well-documented, they deserve to be remembered. A summary of the many lies — including those regarding alleged yet false links between Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda as well as Saddam’s alleged links to the anthrax attacks and Iraq’s nonexistent nuclear weapons program — can be found here.
Yet arguably more important than the lies told in the direct lead-up to the war, is the conclusive evidence that key officials in the Bush administration, many of them members of the neoconservative organization known as the Project for a New American Century (PNAC), had planned and called for an invasion of Iraq long before the September 11th attacks had even taken place.
Some researchers say the plan for the Iraq War began decades before with the drafting of the 1992 Defense Policy Guidance (DPG), which was overseen by Paul Wolfowitz, then Under-Secretary of Defense for Policy, who would later become one of the chief architects of the 2003 Iraq War. The DPG spoke of the need to secure “access to vital raw materials, primarily Persian Gulf oil.” It also spoke of the need for the U.S. to develop a protocol for unilaterally pursuing interventions abroad, stating that “the United States should be postured to act independently when collective action cannot be orchestrated.”
The DPG would again find prominence among a new group who called themselves the Project for a New American Century (PNAC). Founded in 1997 by Robert Kagan and Bill Kristol, its first act was to publish a statement of principles that promoted “a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity.” That statement was signed by several politically prominent neoconservatives — Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld among them.

Although in failing health in the last decade, he pursued photography and painting and, until recently, kept up a regimen of physical therapy that included swimming.
Born in San Marino, Norman Chandler attended Polytechnic School in Pasadena and the Cate School in Carpinteria. He was a National Merit Scholarship finalist when he graduated in 1970. He went on to Yale University, later transferring to Stanford, where he earned a degree in communications.
He came to The Times in 1976, working in several departments in an executive training program.
His earliest assignments included working in the dispatch and composing departments in production, as a machinist's assistant and as a copy messenger in the newsroom.
He then joined the Orange County edition and the now-defunct Southeast Los Angeles County bureau as a reporter-photographer trainee, before working as a reporter at several overseas Times bureaus. He said years later that his experiences abroad deepened his interest in journalism and led him to rule out other professions.
When he returned to Los Angeles, he sought more experience in the newspaper's technical operations and worked as an assistant production manager at the downtown plant and as production superintendent in the San Fernando Valley operation. He also was circulation manager of the Greenwich (Conn.) Times and studied management principles with the Gannett Newspapers at the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
He was named composing superintendent of the Los Angeles Times in 1987. In that role, Chandler managed many of the departments that were integral to the final page production of the paper.
The Chandler family controlled The Times for more than a century, beginning in 1884. The Times and its parent company, Times Mirror, were purchased by Tribune Co. in 2000.
Norman Chandler was the great-great-grandson of Gen. Harrison Gray Otis, who bought part-ownership of The Times in 1882, a year after it began publication and served as its publisher for 35 years.
Norman Chandler's great-grandfather was Harry Chandler, the Times' second publisher; his grandfather, Norman Chandler, was the third publisher, and his father, Otis Chandler, was the paper's fourth and last family member to hold the title.

Here's my theory:
Q dropped #118 back in 2017. In it he suggests that Zuckerberg (IG/FB) and @Jack (Twit) are complicit in child sex trafficking. He said "think 'Taken'". “I never brought back a girl that ever said no, or didn’t want to participate in an erotic massage.”
Roberts claims that after visiting Paris, Spain and Morocco Epstein told Roberts they were then due to fly to England where she would stay with Maxwell.
The British socialite is named in court papers in the US as the women who allegedly recruited her at age 15 to be the “top girl” for Epstein after meeting her at a country club where she was working in Palm Beach, Florida.
It goes on: “Maxwell facilitated Prince Andrew’s act of sexual abuse by acting as a ”madame” for Epstein, there assisting the internationally trafficking Jane Doe #3 (and numerous other young girls) for sexual purposes”.
