Virginia Democrat Proposes Bill Allowing ‘Abortion’ as Woman Is ‘Dilating’

Virginia Democrat Delegate Kathy Tran proposed a measure last week that would not only allow abortion throughout all nine months of pregnancy in the state, but would also permit a woman to decide whether she wants to “abort” her baby as she is dilating and about to give birth.
The bill is proposed as New York Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo has just signed into law the Reproductive Health Act, which eliminates recognition of “personhood” in the unborn and defines a “person” as a “human being who has been born and is alive.” That law has been referred to as permitting “infanticide” by many pro-life groups.
The Daily Wire reported on Tran’s legislation and provided this exchange between Tran and Virginia Republican Delegate Todd Gilbert:
Gilbert: So how late in the third trimester would you be able to do that?
Tran: It’s very unfortunate that our physician witnesses were not able to attend today.
Gilbert: No, I’m talking about your bill. How late in the third trimester could a physician perform an abortion if he indicated it would impair the mental health of the woman?
Tran: Or physical health.
Gilbert: Okay. I’m talking about the mental health.
Tran: Through the third trimester. The third trimester goes all the way up to 40 weeks.
Gilbert: Okay. But to the end of the third trimester?
Tran: Yep. I don’t think we have a limit in the bill.
Gilbert: Where it’s obvious a woman is about to give birth, that she has physical signs that she is about to give birth. Would that be a point at which she could still request an abortion if she was so certified? She’s dilating.
Tran: Mr. Chairman, that would be a decision that the doctor, the physician, and the woman would make at that point.
Gilbert: I understand that. I’m asking if your bill allows that.
Tran: My bill would allow that, yes.
A summary of HB 2491, dubbed the Repeal Act because it repeals most restrictions on abortion, states the bill:
Eliminates the requirement that an abortion in the second trimester of pregnancy and prior to the third trimester be performed in a hospital. The bill eliminates all the procedures and processes, including the performance of an ultrasound, required to effect a woman’s informed written consent to the performance of an abortion; however, the bill does not change the requirement that a woman’s informed written consent be first obtained. The bill eliminates the requirement that two other physicians certify that a third trimester abortion is necessary to prevent the woman’s death or impairment of her mental or physical health, as well as the need to find that any such impairment to the woman’s health would be substantial and irremediable. The bill also removes language classifying facilities that perform five or more first-trimester abortions per month as hospitals for the purpose of complying with regulations establishing minimum standards for hospitals.
According to the Virginia Gazette, Democrat Gov. Ralph Northam, Attorney General Mark Herring, and a number of Democrats in the General Assembly are backing the legislation – which equates ending the life of an unborn baby with providing women health care.
“I’m going all the way to the Supreme Court if I have to in order to protect Virginians’ health care,” Herring said.
“For women seeking reproductive care, the additional costs and obstacles imposed by existing regulation could potentially include unpaid time off from work, hospital fees and other emotional distress,” Tran said. “These restrictions harm women and have disproportionate effects on low-income women and women of color in Virginia.”
Regarding the New York abortion law, New York Right to Life warned the legislation “repeals protection in NY law for a born-alive infant, authorizing infanticide.”
National pro-life leader Lila Rose also described New York’s new abortion law as “barbaric and inhumane,” and “no different than infanticide.”
Similarly, Christian non-profit litigation firm Liberty Counsel declared New York’s Reproductive Health Act to be “infanticide.”
“A child can be tortured and killed seconds before it is born in New York simply because it is seen as an ‘inconvenience’ to some and a money-maker for others,” said Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. “If the child happens to be born alive, it can now be left to suffer and die. New York has dehumanized the child in the womb, including those born alive after a failed abortion. This is infanticide.”

By going on Twitter and insulting two of our journalists @realDonaldTrump is putting a target on their backs. In turn his followers will then attack @johnrobertsFox and @GillianHTurner in support on Twitter. Bullying journalists is not Presidential. Period.
In short, Banderas could not respond to the substance of Trump’s criticism so she decided instead to mislead her Twitter followers with the fabrication of a “dangerous” straw man built with a series of crazed accusations that are, in fact, based on the outrageously un-American belief the president of the United States does not have the Constitutional right to free speech, to free expression, or even the right to publicly defend himself.
And this is just one more indicator pointing to the collapse of Fox News as a legitimate alternative to the establishment media.

I would be really cautious about college now. Many/most degrees are useless. Many/most institutions WILL indoctrinate you and you'll be none the wiser.
At age 18 it's hard to know what your interest will be. Your eventual profession or job could turn out to be entirely different than what you feel you have an interest in today.
Suggestion: Go take an aptitude test. Find out your strengths and weaknesses, interests and native abilities. Find out how these map onto different occupations. Try an apprenticeship or internship program to discover if you have a serious interest in those jobs that match your aptitude profile.

That is far from true. I belong to a club where we share a very expensive hobby. I'm the least wealthy of the bunch but also the youngest, but we all have notable net worth.
4 of every 5 people out of 100 are small business owners working in the trades. My welder buddy makes more than anyone but he's the guy everyone calls around here to do really sketchy work that is critically important. My other buddy is a carpenter who has worked his way up into developing exclusive type properties. I do trees. We all make more the the supervising electrical engineer at a power plant and a mechanical engineer that designs some of the biggest gas turbines in the world that belong to our club. One dude does contract in the tech sector who pulls down close to half a million a year and one is a specialized doctor who does about 400k a year, but they are the only exceptions.
Anecdotal, but I think worth sharing. You will see a similar trend at your country clubs save the most elitist ones rife with criminals and good old boys.

A defense attorney for Andrew Miller, who's fighting a subpoena from Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, learned Monday afternoon that the special counsel still wants witness testimony for a federal grand jury.
Paul Kamenar, the defense attorney, says the assertion from Mueller's team made clear to him that Mueller and the Justice Department are considering an additional indictment of Roger Stone or have plans to charge others.
The development sets up the potential for another twist in the Russia probe. It comes hours after acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker said that Mueller's investigation was "close to being completed."
Kamenar's client is Miller, a former employee of Stone's whom Mueller subpoenaed in mid-2018 to testify to the grand jury. In a court hearing about Miller's testimony, a judge made clear that Mueller sought information Miller had about Stone's communications regarding Wikileaks and Russian hackers around the time they disseminated damaging hacked Democratic emails.
"The special counsel has advised me the grand jury is still interested in Andrew Miller, and they consider the case still a live case," Kamenar told CNN late Monday afternoon.
Miller faces no criminal charges.
Stone was indicted by the grand jury on Thursday for lying to Congress, witness tampering and obstruction of justice – but the court papers against him alleged no crimes regarding actual contact between Americans and Julian Assange and the Russians. Stone will be arraigned in Washington Tuesday morning.
A separate but related criminal case against Russian intelligence officers alleges Stone was in contact with them about the hacked documents in 2016, but Stone was not named in that case.
Months ago, Miller spoke to the FBI and turned over digital records to Mueller that he had related to Stone, Wikileaks, Assange, the Democratic National Committee and the online monikers the Russians used after they hacked the Democrats.
When Miller received the subpoena for testimony, he refused to visit the grand jury, and a federal judge held him in contempt of court. The punishment was imprisonment. But Miller hasn't yet been jailed or given the testimony.

When they started adding letters in with numbers (algebra and above) I lost interest and knew that I could hire someone to do any of that type of math if I needed it in my future. I grew up in a home with a self-employed father. He started his own company when he got back from the war, he was in the Battle of Midway. My dad said I could quit if I got my GED. So, I signed up and took the 6 week course and got it. I worked a couple jobs but my dad always taught me you can never get ahead by trading dollars for hours. So I started a service company on a shoestring. In the 1980s I was making well over $50K per year. Great money for a 25 year old female back then. Next, I decided on a different business. Started a carpet and upholstery cleaning business. I had 5-6 telemarketers. One day the Mom of a 17 year old phoner came in and asked me to encourage her daughter to finish school and go to college. I looked straight at her and said:

I would encourage your daughter to ask me how I did this and to listen carefully to my answers and to follow in my footsteps. They failed to see that while raising him he got everything he asked for, so to him this being broke crap was unfair. He started buying quantities of bad dugs on the dark net. I said to Sister - “Why didn’t you just send him gift cards for Safeway, for the Cinema, Prepay his internet—that type of thing? You can’t just toss hi out after providing everything and expect him to swim. Did you ever sit hom down and show him all your bills? Did you teach him abut what it takes to live independently?” — No, they thought they were teaching him a lesson. So now, the police want him to become an informant or they will it him away for minimum of 10 years. Wonder how tat will turn out.
There’s a middle ground…
Stay away from these evil institutions. They are teaching from a radical liberal podium. If you don’t have anything in mind, research different trades and go to a 2 year trade school. Learn how to do something where the professors are not preaching liberal values all day. The computer industry is still wide open. Longshoremen are always needed and well paid. Plumbers and Electricians make BANK, but they take a bit longer to get to Journeyman. Once you have a trade to fall back on, you can find your passion and find a way to get paid for THAT.
Start a business in the field of your passion while you are working in a trade, temporarily. Maybe your passion is building houses—being an electrician would certainly help. I’m saying put some thought into it, and take some out-of-the-by steps.
My advice is —Don’t Follow The Sheep, step away from the crowd. When people tel you they think you’re making a mistake, just smile and keep stepping closer to your passion. Later, when those people are nothing more than automatons that traded dollars for hours for decades and hate their life, you will have found how to make money doing your passion and you will be HAPPY.
