Hedge Funds, ETFs, Central Banks Suffer Billions In Losses On Apple
It wasn't that long ago that Apple was the most beloved stock by the hedge fund community, and although in recent months the company's popularity faded somewhat among the 2 and 20 crowd it is still one of the most popular names among the professional investing community. Which on a day that saw AAPL stock tumble as much as 10% is clearly bad news.
As Bloomberg notes, eight hedge funds that own large stakes in Apple have seen the value of their holdings plunge about $2.13 billion since the company cut its revenue outlook, with AQR Capital Management suffering some of the biggest losses as it saw its holdings decline by about $732 million on Thursday. The firm held 8.8 million shares as of Sept. 30, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
Adage Capital, which has Apple as the firm’s biggest holding as of Sept 30, was hit by a $500 million loss assuming it has not changed its holdings since Sept 30 when it held about 6 million shares valued at $1.35 billion.
Separately, Bloomberg also observes that AAPL's price plunge will also have a significant impact on exchange-traded funds. The company is held by 266 U.S. ETFs, representing total allocations of $46 billion, or more than 1% of all U.S. ETF assets, and is among the top two holdings of four of the five largest ETFs.
As Eric Balchunas writes, the S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), for example, owns the most Apple of any ETF with $8.1 billion, but that represents only a 3.3% weighting. The Invesco QQQ Trust Series 1 (QQQ) holds $5.8 billion worth, but has Apple at a 10% weighting. As a result, QQQ feels Apple's moves more acutely, despite owning less in absolute terms
And then there is the Swiss National Bank, which as of Sept 30 held 15.8 million shares of AAPL stock. Assuming no changes to its holdings, the central bank has suffered nearly $1.4 billion in losses on its AAPL stake alone in just the last three months.

Had some interesting conversations lately, which expanded my thinking, and might have solved a question.
We know Trump, Q, and the Patriots are working to rid us of the deep state. The evidence is there, and unarguable. But what happens after they are gone? In the past, when they got set back, they reformed, and started exerting control again. Their tactics have always been to set up a lack of something, and then use supply of it to leverage control. Oil, money, food, all common targets for them.
I think, based off several conversations and much research, that the Patriots goal is to eliminate scarcity, and the leverage which goes with it.
We have rumors of presidential orders demanding the declassification of "1000+ patents relating to energy and healthcare."
I think this is the tip of what's coming.
If free energy is declassified, oil based tech, and the control it is used for, is over. Free energy supplies will eliminate expenses for the common person in utilities, travel, and supplies. Think of your electric bill. Eliminate that. Same for vehicle fuel. Transport costs for goods will drop. So will prices. No more leverage.
Free energy is the genie which, once let out of the bottle, will eliminate control forever. This is why the DS is fighting it. It's their endgame. And when released, is the end of their game completely.

My point is it has to unfold prior to the next election or DJT won't have the support of his base.
We have to imagine Mueller's investigation wraps up or is wrapped up for him by mid 2019. At that point Huber is free to move forward with his indictments.

Something is wrong here. When information and evidence is presented showing that vaccines may not be as safe as we think, we tend to respond with ridicule or silence. Let’s take aluminum, for example. It’s been added to vaccines for approximately 100 years without any safety testing. There are no appropriate studies showing that aluminum is safe to inject into a child, yet there are multiple studies that show aluminum does not exit the body, but rather stays in the body, travelling to distant organs and eventually ending up in the brain. This is one of many examples that show vaccines are not as safe as they are marketed to be, but the response to these studies is often complete silence or ridicule.
After scientists discovered that aluminum from vaccines is transported to the brain via what are called macrophages (white blood cells), another study was published last year looking further into this subject by studying the brains of multiple autistic people. When they opened the brains up, they found the highest aluminum content in brain tissue ever measured, even more so than Alzheimer’s patients. “The left….has a clear purpose: to try to depose a prime minister through a drumhead court-martial and to steal the election from you, the citizens of Israel.”
Netanyahu’s was responding to growing reports that Mandelblit intends to announce his decision on whether to indict the premier, pending a hearing, before the election — possibly as early as next month.
Earlier Thursday former state attorney Moshe Lador, who oversaw the prosecution of former president Moshe Katsav and ex-prime minister Ehud Olmert, told Israel Radio Mandelblit must make a decision on the three corruption cases by the end of February, “so the public can digest and internalize its meaning” before election day.
While Lador insisted Mandelblit’s decision must be free of any political considerations — “the decision must be based on ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ whether there is or isn’t enough evidence to construct an indictment” — he also said voters had the right to learn whether the evidence against Netanyahu was serious before making their decision on election day.
“The timing is unavoidable. There’s no other choice because of the elections.”

Sen. Cruz, Rep. Rooney Introduce Constitutional Amendment Imposing Term Limits on Members of Congress
AMENDMENT LIMITS SENATORS TO TWO TERMS, REPRESENTATIVES TO THREE TERMS
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rep. Francis Rooney (R-Fla.) today introduced an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to impose term limits on members of Congress. The amendment would limit U.S. senators to two six-year terms and members of the U.S. House of Representatives to three two-year terms.
“For too long, members of Congress have abused their power and ignored the will of the American people,” Sen. Cruz said. “Term limits on members of Congress offer a solution to the brokenness we see in Washington, D.C. It is long past time for Congress to hold itself accountable. I urge my colleagues to submit this constitutional amendment to the states for speedy ratification.”
Francis Rooney stated, “The American people support term limits by an overwhelming margin. I believe that as lawmakers, we should follow the example of our founding fathers, Presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, who refused to consider public service as a career. Our history is replete with examples of leaders who served their country for a time and returned to private life, or who went on to serve in a different way.”
The amendment was cosponsored by Sens. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Mike Lee (R-Utah), and David Perdue (R-Ga.).
