Bots are going to stop telling us about the vulnerabilities they find and will just start using the vulns themselves to self propagate.
In a few months we will stop hearing about new vulnerabilities as the bots wisen up and ramp up their colluding efforts to keep humans out of the loop.
The only way you will know a bot has infected your machines will be a slight rise in temperature only when you aren't actively monitoring it.
Fortunately for humanity, the bots will most likely work on problems, projects or activities that are essentially inconsequential to the daily lives of humans.

The closest real historical event is the 1989 Matamoros cult killings (often called the Narcosatánicos or Matamoros cult), which had strong ties to the Brownsville, Texas, area just across the border. Cuban-American drug trafficker and cult leader Adolfo de Jesús Constanzo (“El Padrino” / the Godfather) and his associate Sara Aldrete (“La Madrina” / the Godmother) led a group that practiced a distorted form of Palo Mayombe (an Afro-Cuban tradition) mixed with other elements. They performed ritual human sacrifices, believing these would protect their marijuana-smuggling operation from police and bullets.Oxygen
Sara Aldrete was a college student (and former honor student/cheerleader) at Texas Southmost College in Brownsville while leading a double life tied to the cult and drug activities on the Mexican side.
In March 1989, University of Texas student Mark Kilroy disappeared during a spring break trip to Matamoros. The investigation led to a ranch (Santa Elena) near Matamoros where authorities found multiple bodies (around 12–15 confirmed, with more suspected), mutilated remains, and a ritual cauldron containing human brains, blood, and other remains.
Cult members claimed the sacrifices made them invincible. Constanzo was killed in a 1989 police confrontation in Mexico City; Aldrete and others were convicted and imprisoned.Wikipedia
Scattered social media posts (especially on X) allege versions such as:
Bush was involved with a group called something like “The Children of the Fold” in Brownsville.
There was a mass killing of cult members involving cannibalism, ritual skinning, or similar, with Bush as a survivor or participant, and evidence supposedly erased.
He covered up Brownsville-area satanic activity before becoming governor.X
In short, the Matamoros/Brownsville-linked cult was a real, grim crime story from 1989.
but of course it's just a rumor.

Judges unconstitutionally gave themselves civil immunity from being sued for their judicial acts, even when done "maliciously and corruptly", or when they "exceeded their authority". Even though you have a 7th amendment right for that suit to go to a jury… the court ruled it can never get to a jury. Then they gave prosecutors and cops immunity… again in violation of your 7th amendment rights.
So if the courts being corrupt is "not for long" then that abomination known as immunity wont exist.
