German doctor suspected of killing up to 91 patients gets life sentence
A Berlin court on Wednesday sentenced a palliative care physician to life in prison after convicting him of murdering at least 15 of his patients. Johannes M., 41, whose full name has not been released due to Germany’s strict privacy laws, was convicted of injecting his patients with a lethal combination of drugs. He remains under investigation on suspicion of involvement in 76 additional cases in which his patients died and suspicions were raised.
According to the indictment, Johannes injected the patients, without their knowledge or consent, with a lethal combination of anesthetics and a muscle relaxant during home visits. In July 2024, shortly before his arrest, prosecutors said he killed two patients in a single day: a 75-year-old man at his home in central Berlin and several hours later a 76-year-old woman in a nearby neighborhood. In at least four of the murder cases, he was also accused of attempting to set fire to the victims’ apartments in order to conceal his actions. The investigation into him began following those arson attempts.
Throughout the trial, the doctor remained silent, but last month he admitted to killing at least 12 of his patients. In testimony before the court, he said he had convinced himself that he was doing the right thing and sparing the patients suffering.
“Throughout it all, I thought it was the best thing for everyone,” he said, apologizing to the victims’ families. In its sentencing, the court ruled that the doctor was guilty of murder under aggravated circumstances, a designation expected to prevent the possibility of early release. His medical license was permanently revoked.
Several relatives of the victims testified during the trial. The mother of the youngest victim, a 25-year-old woman killed in 2021, broke down in tears on the witness stand.
“She never said she didn’t want to live anymore,” the mother said.
The son of a 72-year-old woman killed in 2024 said his mother had plans to travel to the Baltic Sea with her sister.
“My mother wanted to keep living,” he said.
The investigation into the case is still ongoing, and the doctor could be charged with additional murders. According to reports in Germany, a special team of police investigators and prosecutors reviewed 395 cases in total, with suspicions arising in 95 of them. The doctor has now been convicted in 15 cases, while investigations continue into 76 others.

By “monolithic,” Elizondo means an artificial construct of a single block that "appears to be" artificial.
The interview expanded into various military encounters with green, red, and blue orbs, largely recounting cases reported to the Pentagon's former Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP).
Elizondo claims the orbs could be surveillance systems, or even weapons, explaining that they may be autonomous reconnaissance or collection platforms.
He also broadly suggested that this kind of orb-sighting had been going on globally for decades.
“Appears to be” is not definite proof
Elizondo’s moon claim dominated the interview because it suggests the presence of artificial-looking structures, which hasn’t been a typical feature of recent UFO whistleblower evidence.
This focus shifts from blurry UAP footage to alleged unreleased government photographs, and time will tell whether Elizondo is accurate in his claims.
Regarding the orbs he spoke of, Elizondo seemed deliberately cautious in his wording throughout, using "appears to be" rather than definitive proof.
These broad theories about surveillance platforms and humanity's limited understanding of reality caused commotion in the UFO community.
“An announcement about an announcement”
A so-called UFO whistleblower for nine years now, following his resignation as a US Army counterintelligence special agent due to excessive secrecy in the Pentagon's concealment of evidence, Elizondo accrued credibility as a leading spokesperson against the very program he worked on.
He also plays a vital role in raising the heat on President Donald Trump by underscoring the importance of national security in the UAP context and the fateful dangers that whistleblowers face.
But with talks on monolithic structures, the Reddit UFO community was quite aghast.
“This is easily the most absurd [claim],” one user said, before adding that it was “stuff that really discredits him.
Another UFO follower posted, “It’s always an announcement about an announcement,” before requesting, “Just release a photo and be done with it.”
Previously, Elizondo has spoken of a secret government program that possesses retrieved alien craft, citing that UAPs can disable nuclear missiles, as well as physically radiate troops.
His esoteric style divides opinion in the community as not everyone is comfortable in stomaching some of his more wild claims.

EU Parliament backs Poland in Nazi collaborators row with Ukraine
Vladimir Zelensky’s decision to name a military unit after a group that killed thousands of ethnic Poles in WWII is “not in line with European values,” lawmakers say

The European Parliament hasrebuked Kiev over its decision to rename an elite military unit after World War II-era Nazi collaborators, a move that has fueled a weeks-long diplomatic row with Poland.
Militants from the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), the armed wing of the Organization ofUkrainian Nationalists (OUN), killed at least 100,000 ethnic Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia– now largely part of Ukraine – between 1943 and 1944. Known as the Volhynia Massacre, the campaign remains the main unresolved historical dispute between Ukraine and Poland, one of Kiev’s key backers in its conflict with Russia.
While Warsaw recognizes the killings as genocide, Kiev honors figures such as OUN leader Stepan Bandera as “national heroes.“ Last month, Vladimir Zelensky granted an army unit the honorary title ‘Heroes of the UPA’.
Polish President Karol Nawrocki called the move “outrageous” and stripped Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle, Poland’s highest honor,while Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz warned that “Ukraine will not join the EU” if it continues to glorify Nazi collaborators.
TheEuropean Parliamenton Wednesdayapproved an amendment to its resolution on Ukraine’s EU accession bid that criticizes Zelensky’s decision as an “unnecessary and unprovoked escalation” that shows “disregard for Polish sensitivities and grief linked to the UPA’s estimated tens of thousands of victims,” saying themove “undermines neighborly relations” and “is not in line with European values.”
“It’s a very strong signal.It’s a warning to Ukrainian authorities not to create bad emotions and not to act against European values,” Polish MEP Andrzej Halicki, who introduced the amendment, told Euronews.
Zelensky recently sought to play down the dispute with Warsaw, calling it “some internal questions” stemmingfrom “difficulties in our history,” and urged Warsaw not to block Ukraine’s long-standing EU ambitions. In an effort to ease tensions, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrey Sibiga traveled to Warsaw last week to propose an “anti-crisis package,” including historical roundtables.
However, Ukraine has shown little sign of changing course. Earlier this month, the Ukrainian parliament approved plans to establish a national pantheon honoring prominent historical figures, including World War II-era nationalists.This week, Ukraine’s state-backed Mirotvorets database of alleged “enemies of the state” blacklisted Polish presidential chief of staff Zbigniew Boguckiafter he used a historic Polish name for a region now largely located in western Ukraine.
Commenting on the dispute, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswomanMaria Zakharova said on Wednesday that the West has raised a “terrorist monster” in Kiev by arming and funding it while ignoring its “Nazi” ideological foundations. While the wider West may not have realized who it was supporting because it had long “canceled history,” she saidPoland “knew they were supporting those who had killed their grandfathers.”
“They couldn’t have not known. They thought they were just throwing bones into the kennel [in Kiev] and would later profit. Now Warsaw is trying to backtrack,”Zakharova told Sputnik Radio. “But that can no longer be undone by simply taking down the White Eagle, posting a few tweets, or making loud statements. They’ve already armed these terrorists.Now those terrorists have, in essence, begun managing those who created them.”

In 2016, part of one pool wall collapsed. The U.S. later gave $750,000 for restoration, but the site again fell into disrepair.
Solomon’s Pools, located between Efrat and Bethlehem, are one of Judea’s most significant historical sites and part of the ancient water system connected to Jerusalem and the Jewish Temples.
Now, as Israeli visits increase, PA Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa has called those visits part of Israeli “threats and attacks.”
