IRS Erroneously Awarded Millions in Tax Breaks to Noncitizens.

An inspector general report reveals systemic failures at the IRS in preventing misuse of tax credits by foreigners with nonwork Social Security numbers, costing taxpayers hundreds of millions annually.

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) paid $213 million in Earned Income Tax Credits (EITC) to foreign citizens with nonwork Social Security numbers in 2023 and 2024, according to a report from the agency’s inspector general. These numbers, issued for limited purposes such as accessing services, are not intended for work eligibility or tax credit claims.

The report said the IRS lacks sufficient data from the Social Security Administration (SSA) to determine why certain nonwork Social Security numbers were issued, limiting the agency’s ability to automatically block improper claims. Investigators found the IRS identified about 12,600 suspicious returns through risk-based screening and manually reviewed roughly 5,100 of them, preventing nearly $11 million in improper payments. Auditors said the IRS’s current system relies heavily on manual reviews and cannot efficiently detect all ineligible claims because the agency does not receive complete information from the SSA about whether the Social Security numbers were issued solely for federal benefits, which would disqualify recipients from claiming the credit. The watchdog report also noted that refundable tax credits remain highly vulnerable to fraud, with the Earned Income Tax Credit alone generating an estimated $21.1 billion in improper payments in fiscal year 2025.

The misuse of the EITC, a program designed to support low-income workers, not only drains taxpayer funds but also undermines trust in government oversight. In 2025 alone, the IRS estimated $21.1 billion in erroneous EITC payments, with both fraud and unintentional errors contributing to the problem. This ongoing issue highlights the need for improved interagency cooperation and data-sharing to prevent future losses.

“Having timely, updated, reliable eligibility information would enable immediate eligibility determinations and would avoid costly, resources intensive, post-filing determinations,” said Kenneth Corbin, chief of the IRS Taxpayer Services Division.

General Michael Flynn torches Folds of Honor founder for exploiting veterans and Gold Star families to enrich himself and his golf resort empire

General Michael Flynn has issued a sharp rebuke of Dan Rooney’s bid for Oklahoma’s 1st Congressional District, exposing the Air Force veteran and Folds of Honor founder for exploiting military service and a veterans’ charity for personal and family enrichment.

Flynn, who served more than three decades in uniform, recognized Rooney’s credentials and military service but drew a firm line between honorable service and what he called self-interested opportunism.

“True service to this nation demands sacrifice, integrity, and unwavering loyalty to the Constitution and the American people,” Flynn stated. “I spent over three decades in uniform defending this Republic so I know what real service looks like. It is not a marketing slogan or a stepping stone to building wealth for you and your family. It is a sacred trust.”

Flynn expressed concern over Rooney’s stewardship of Folds of Honor, the nonprofit he founded to support spouses and children of fallen or disabled service members and first responders. Flynn highlighted a troubling pattern of conflicts of interest that appear to prioritize Rooney’s golf resort developments and family financial interests above all else.

He pointed to public filings showing Rooney personally compensated over $510,000 in 2024, including aircraft leases, club dues, and other perks, with multiple family members on the board. Flynn also cited transactions involving entities such as Patriot Cottages, LLC and FHF Honor Cottage, LLC, which blur the lines between the tax-exempt nonprofit and Rooney’s private Patriot Golf Club businesses.

Flynn referenced specific real estate efforts as evidence of this pattern. Rooney’s team met with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ staff well over a year before proposing three golf courses at Jonathan Dickinson State Park using public funds. The plan reportedly employed “historic preservation” language and a Tuskegee Airmen museum angle before collapsing under scrutiny amid secrecy concerns raised by whistleblowers. Similar tactics were allegedly used for the American Dunes project in Michigan.

“Veterans and Gold Star families deserve better than having their pain monetized into country club ventures by those who disingenuously parade around as their advocates,” Flynn said.

The general also criticized Rooney’s public stance during the COVID-19 pandemic, noting a post in which Rooney, masked and receiving the vaccine, urged broad compliance at a time of mandates and demonstrated what he will do as a Congressman when it comes time to make a stand.

Flynn also faulted Rooney for remaining silent on major issues, including 2020 election integrity concerns, lawfare against President Trump and his supporters, and broader fights against the regulatory state and federal overreach.

“That is not leadership. That is calculated caution from a man more interested in protecting his image than confronting the existential threats to our Republic,” Flynn wrote, describing Rooney as a “classic empty suit” who offers military anecdotes but lacks clear positions on border security, military rebuilding, election integrity, parental rights, and dismantling the deep state.

“Dan Rooney is not the man Oklahoma needs in Congress,” he stated. “Voters deserve transparency on his nonprofit entanglements, clarity on where he stands on election integrity, COVID tyranny, the prosecutions of Trump supporters and all other issues. Oklahomans should reject the empty suit and choose a candidate with proven America First conviction who will fight without compromise.”

Rooney has emphasized his combat veteran experience and calls for a “combat veteran’s voice” in Washington but does not live up to his billing under scrutiny. Rooney is the clear choice of the GOP establishment for Oklahoma’s 1st District and should be rejected by MAGA voters.

House Resolution Calls for Tech Companies to Censor Speech==

The legislation introduced serves as a direct assault on the First Amendment on behalf of Zionism and the Israel lobby.

This one slipped under the wire. Tucker Carlson talked about it the other day, but beyond that, it is flying sans transponder. On February 29, New Jersey Democrat Josh Gottheimer and New York Republican Mike Lawler introduced “a bipartisan resolution condemning the rise of antisemitic, hate-filled rhetoric disseminated by prominent online personalities, including Hasan Piker and Candace Owens, and calling on social media platforms and public leaders to take stronger action against hate,” according to Gottheimer’s taxpayer funded website.

The resolution highlights the growing influence of online personalities and the alarming surge in antisemitism driven, in part, by disinformation and extremist rhetoric… When influential voices spread conspiracy theories, promote terrorism, or dehumanize Jewish people, it fuels real-world violence and intimidation. We must stand up and speak out.

Owens, Gottheimer’s post continues, “has trafficked in vile conspiracy theories, promoted blood libels, and platformed Holocaust deniers,” and Piker has “dehumanized Orthodox Jews” The post continues with debunked lies concerning the Hamas al-Aqsa Flood open-air prison breakout on October 7, 2023.

Lawler received $1,069,875 and Gottheimer $2,062,601 from the Israel lobby. Both are essentially paid operatives for the Likud government of Israel. Furthermore, both “representatives” are traitors to the the Bill of Rights and have violated their oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

The Democrat Gottheimer, sounding like a staunch MAGA Republican, declared the “relationship with Israel is key to our national security. Terrorists hate the United States more than they hate Israel.” Lawler voted for a budget “that cut Medicaid and raised the cost of healthcare for millions of Americans, while saying US taxpayer funding for Israel should be ‘unconditional’ and voted for over $18 billion in weapons to Israel in 2024,” thus revealing his priorities (and making sure AIPAC sweetens his pot for the next election).

Last August, Israeli PM Netanyahu directly inserted himself in domestic American politics by demanding “the algorithms and the social networks” be censored to eliminate criticism of Israel.

In April, Zionist podcaster and self-proclaimed constitutionalist Mark Levin denounced critics of Israeli apartheid and genocide as “Nazis” and “jihadis” and said they are “inciting” violence with their speech. He argued the freedom of speech, once considered god-given and natural in America, is “overprotected.” Carlson said “Mark Levin, the right wing MAGA guy, is saying those people [critics of Israel] should be silenced by the tech companies.”

Another podcaster, Ben Shapiro, told the Palm Beach Gardens Chabad synagogue that X is an “unusable” and “vile stream of trash.” He admitted reaching out “to Elon’s people about” the criticism of Zionism he considers contemptible. “The algorithms are destroying America,” he said.

“We will monitor social media, and check your bank accounts,” Jonathan Greenblatt, the leader of the ADL, threatened in January. He said the ADL “shares the information with the FBI” gathered on anti-Zionist “extremists.” In June, he demanded companies “knock the anti-Zionists off the platform once and for all.” Research from the ADL’s Center for Technology and Society posted to X “shows that five major platforms are still failing to enforce” the removal of content critical of Israel and Zionists.

Israel-born Chabadnik Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, Trump’s czar of antisemitism, announced in December the State Department will establish a “whole division” to combat criticism of Israel and is working to develop social media algorithms that exclude “misinformation.”

“From YouTube to X, Wikipedia, and TikTok, Zionists are capturing all means of communication to erase the evidence of its genocide, reshape the historical record, and censor those critical of it,” writes Robert Inlakesh for the Palestine Chronicle. “Those who are critical of Israel are being censored or arrested.”

Tucker Carlson warns full-blown censorship will soon arrive in America through legislation forcing technology corporations to remove content deemed antisemitic by Israel and Zionists in America. “Criticizing the behavior of a foreign government is a hate crime and can get you censored in your own country,” he said.

Body cam footage leaked to Haaretz appears to show police officers pouncing on lawyer within seconds of entering Beersheba apartment

Body camera footage published Friday appeared to contradict the police claim that an Arab Israeli government prosecutor had been resisting arrest when he was beaten by cops in his home earlier this month.

The Haaretz daily published footage from one of the officers involved in the violent arrest of government prosecutor Salah Khalil Faisal Na’ameh last week in Beersheba.

The footage appeared to contradict the police claim that the lawyer was violent toward the officers before they pounced on him and started beating him.

The video showed a bloodstain on the floor after Na’ameh was detained. The lawyer does not appear to be resisting arrest.

Police accused Na’ameh and his two relatives, who both work in medicine, of assaulting officers who arrived at the apartment.

The three rejected the police’s version of events, saying that officers attacked and arrested them last week after entering their Beersheba apartment over an apparent noise complaint.

Na’ameh, who works for the Southern District Attorney’s Office, has since had surgery to mend his broken nose. He also suffered injuries to one of his eyes and both kidneys, according to Haaretz.

The Department of Internal Police Investigations (DIPI), which probes police officers on suspicion of criminal offenses, has launched an investigation into the incident.

The three mens’ lawyer, Tomer Gonen, told Haaretz that they had been sitting on the balcony and listening to music on May 1, when they noticed three police officers in civilian clothes had entered the house.

According to the outlet, one of the three cops lived nearby. The officers did not present them with a warrant, and so the three asked them to leave. The officers initially complied, but later that night arrived with backup.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday submitted his response to a petition at the High Court of Justice against the appointment of Maj. Gen. Roman Gofman as the next director of the Mossad intelligence agency.

The premier argued that Gofman’s appointment was a security decision and therefore should be generally exempt from judicial oversight.

“There is actually good reason to assume that the rationality for the prime minister’s decision is ten times better than the ‘rationality’ of anyone else, including the honorable court,” he wrote.

“The responsibility for the security of the state and its citizens lies with the prime minister, and him alone,” Netanyahu asserted.

The petition against Gofman, who has been serving as Netanyahu’s military secretary, was filed by Ori Elmakayes, together with the “Telem — Movement for Integrity in Government” group.

It focused on Gofman’s authorization in 2022, while commanding the Israel Defense Forces’s 210th “Bashan” Regional Division in the Golan Heights, to use Elmakayes, then 17, in an Arabic-language influence campaign.

As a result of Gofman’s actions, Elmakayes was detained and interrogated by the Shin Bet domestic security agency, held in isolation for two months, charged with espionage offenses, and held in detention for 18 months before the charges were dropped.

Telem stated that the petition cited this affair, as well as what it said was Gofman’s failure to tell the truth to IDF investigators who probed the incident.

Additionally, Telem noted that Gofman “remained silent” during the legal proceedings against Elmakayes, and cited “his failure to take responsibility for the affair and the abuse of a minor who had committed no offense, and his untrustworthiness.”

PM: Grunis ‘exceeded authority’ in opposing nomination

The petition also underlined the opposition of the chair of the Senior Appointments Advisory Committee, retired Supreme Court president Asher Grunis, to Gofman’s appointment.

In their joint decision, the three junior members of the committee approved Gofman’s appointment and said that the incident should not keep Gofman from serving as head of the Mossad, while Grunis, in a separate opinion, recommended that Gofman be disqualified.

In his response Friday, Netanyahu said Grunis had “exceeded his authority” by recommending Gofman’s disqualification.
