Russian envoy dismantles Kallas at UNSC
The controversial EU diplomat has also been slammed for “criminal” hypocrisy by Amnesty International

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, launched a stinging rebuke of EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas’ address at the UN Security Council in New York on Monday.
Kallas has since been accused of “criminal”double standards in her speech by Amnesty International for ignoring US and Israeli crimes against Iran.
The controversial diplomat spoke during the annual Security Council session on EU-UN cooperation, during which she lamented the “greatest breakdown of international law since the Second World War,” without once mentioning the US or Israel, but mentioning Russia 11 times.
Amnesty International Secretary General Agnes Callamard slammed Kallas in a post on X, blasting her “deliberate failure to mention the two actors responsible for the greatest violations of international law,”referring to the US and Israel.
Kallas’ unwillingness to name them “is not just cowardice. It is criminal,” Callamard said, adding that such double standards are what is “destroying international law.”
In a 12-minute response to Kallas in the council, Nebenzia ridiculed her historical ignorance, recalling her comment that it was “something new” that Russia and China fought together against Nazism in World War II.
Kallas, like EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, has along history of avoiding criticism of Washington while regularly engaging in unhinged attacks on Moscow.
Her claim to have been surprised that Russia and China, who together lost some 35 million people during WW2, are considered among the conflict’s victors was described by Responsible Statecraft as “shocking ignorance.”
“It would be very interesting to meet Mrs. Kallas’ history teacher,”Nebenzia retorted.

Epsom protest ERUPTS as Police HIDE identities of men accused of gang raping a woman
Dozens of protesters took to the streets of Epsom on Wednesday night, demanding Surrey Police release descriptions and CCTV footage of the men suspected of gang raping a woman outside a local church.
The attack took place in the early hours of Saturday morning after the victim, a woman in her 20s, was followed by a group of men as she left the Labyrinth nightclub in the town centre.
She was assaulted outside Epsom Methodist Church in Ashley Road, around 100 yards away, between 2am and 4am.
Surrey Police said it is still working to identify those responsible.
A spokesman said: "At this early stage, we do not have full descriptions of any potential suspects.
"We will release further details once we have them. The victim is being supported by a specialist sexual offences liaison officer, who is helping her through the process at her own pace."
It is not yet known how many men took part in the alleged attack.

Katy Perry is under investigation for sexual assault in Australia.
The singer, who is currently dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, is under investigation by police in Melbourne over an incident that took place 16 years ago.
The accusation comes from Ruby Rose, an Australian model and actress.
Victoria police said in a statement.
“Melbourne sexual offences and child abuse investigation team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating [an alleged] historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010.”
“Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD.”
“As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
Ruby Rose has accused Katy Perry of sexually assaulting her around 20 years ago.
She alleges Perry rubbed her “disgusting v**ina” on her face, causing Rose to vomit. She adds that she filed a police report regarding the incident a few hours ago.

What Are Microplastics, and Where Do They Come From?
Microplastics are plastic fragments smaller than 5 millimeters, many invisible to the naked eye. They shed from larger plastic items as they degrade: water bottles, food packaging, synthetic clothing, car tires, paint. Others are manufactured tiny from the start, added to toothpastes, cleansers, and cosmetics as “microbeads.”
An estimated 10 to 40 million metric tons of these particles are released into the environment every year. They are now in every ecosystem on Earth, from Antarctic ice to coral reefs, from mountain peaks to ocean trenches. And they are, without question, in us.
Scientists estimate that the average adult ingests the equivalent of one credit card’s worth of plastic every week, through food, water, and the air we breathe. Bottled water is a particularly concentrated source: recyclable plastic bottles contain up to 118 particles per liter. Shellfish eaters ingest roughly 11,000 microplastic particles per year. Salt, sugar, tea bags, and canned goods are all contaminated. If you are eating processed food out of plastic packaging, you are eating plastic.

What i found interesting in the Q-esk sense,
is that this "AI" thing has shown up like all the sudden. Sure, it's been talked about for a long time, but the frenzy to get it into EVERYTHING in such a short period of time??? Makes me think of that Q-esk-ism about 'pushing [their] timeframe' before [they] were really ready for it. People ARE learning about all the crap of AI, while there still might be some worthy Hope to reject it all before it's 'too late'.
