President George H.W. Bush signed a proclamation recognizing the Seven Noahide Laws. This occurred in 1989 when he declared April 16 as "Education Day, U.S.A." in honor of Rabbi Menachem Schneerson and the promotion of these laws. The proclamation emphasized the importance of ethical values and moral conduct as foundational to society.

These Seven Allies Concocted A 'Hormuz Coalition' Statement To Placate Trump, Which Failed
We reported earlier that President Trump has again expressed his extreme frustration at lack of direct NATO participation in a plan to open up the Strait of Hormuz. He declared the US has "militarily WON" - and lambasted lack of allied interest in a "simple military maneuver" to open the Strait of Hormuz, calling NATO a "Paper Tiger" without the US.
And so clearly Trump himself is unconvinced after on Thursday seven allied nations signed a statement expressing a readiness to contribute to efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The statement included no pledge to commit warships or any kind of military or even logistical help, and so is somewhat of a facade and pure PR spectacle.
These countries are: UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, and Canada. But again there's no military role here: "We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the strait," the close US allies announced.
The joint statement did of course condemn Iran, and seemed generally supportive of Trump's actions, even as individual leaders like Germany's Merz have expressed they would have been against starting a war with Iran in the first place.
It further denounces ongoing Iranian attacks commercial vessels and energy infrastructure, citing "the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iranian forces," and calls on Tehran to "cease immediately its threats, laying of mines, drone and missile attacks and other attempts to block the strait."
One reporter writing for Axios views the statement as "largely a gesture to placate Trump, who has railed against allies for declining to help secure the strait and warned that a failure to do so could undermine the future of NATO."
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has made clear that no EU state is at moment considering "a military mission to forcibly break the Iranian blockade," adding the EU favors "diplomacy and de-escalation."
Other EU countries like Spain, Greece, and Switzerland have also made it clear they won't join the war. Washington has meanwhile put a lot of pressure on the UK for some tangible assistance, but this too has been a disappointment for the White House who appears to be 'going it alone'.
As for a total list of countries individually called on by Washington, these have issued formal refusals:

Iran’s IRGC says spokesman Ali Mohammad Naini killed in US-Israeli attack
Al Jazeera Staff, AFP and AP
Fri, March 20, 2026 at 8:44 AM
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps spokesperson has been killed in overnight strikes carried out jointly by the United States and Israel, the IRGC said, the latest in a mounting toll of senior officials assassinated since the war began.
Ali Mohammad Naini, a 68-year-old brigadier general who took up the IRGC spokesman role in 2024, “was martyred in the criminal cowardly terrorist attack by the American-Zionist side at dawn”, the IRGC said in a statement on Friday.
His death came just hours after he appeared on national television to insist that Iran retained full capacity to manufacture missiles, even under wartime conditions.
“Our missile industry deserves a perfect score … and there is no concern in this regard, because even under wartime conditions we continue missile production,” Naini was quoted by the Fars news agency as saying.
On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that “Iran no longer has the capacity to enrich uranium and manufacture ballistic missiles”.
The Israeli army said on Friday that it was carrying out strikes across eastern Tehran, as the country marks the Persian New Year, Nowruz, which this year coincides with Eid al-Fitr.
Al Jazeera’s Mohamed Vall, reporting from Tehran, described the mood in the capital as “hushed”, with none of the customary festivities visible on the streets.
== killing is the latest in a string of high-profile assassinations that have gutted Iran’s establishment in less than three weeks.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in the opening hours of the joint US-Israeli military campaign on February 28. He has since been replaced by his son, Mojtaba Khamenei.==
Earlier this week, Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and one of the most influential figures in Iran’s establishment, was killed in a strike along with his son and several aides.
The head of the Basij paramilitary forces, Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani, and Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib were also confirmed dead within the same 48-hour period.
On Friday, the Israeli military also claimed to have killed Esmail Ahmadi, a senior intelligence figure within the IRGC’s Basij paramilitary unit, in an attack on Tehran earlier this week.
The army said Ahmadi was killed in the same strike that targeted the Basij command centre in central Tehran and killed Soleimani and several other senior figures in the group’s leadership.
There was no immediate comment from the Iranian authorities on Israel’s claim that Ahmadi was among those killed.
On Thursday,US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth made little effort to conceal Washington’s glee over the recent killings of senior Iranian officials, saying that “the last job anyone in the world wants right now”is a senior leadership role in the IRGC or Basij.
However, other US officials appeared to suggest that Washington and Israel’s aims in Iran were not aligned.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told the House Intelligence Committee this week that US and Israeli objectives “are different”.
She also said that while Israel had been “focused on disabling the Iranian leadership”,Trump’s goals were to destroy Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities “and their navy”.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has cast the killings as a means of opening a path for Iranians to reclaim their country, saying on Wednesday the campaign against the country’s leadership “will not happen all at once” but that persistence would give Iranians “a chance to take their fate into their own hands”.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi saidthe US and Israel had still failed to grasp that Iran’s political structure does not rest on any single person. “The presence or absence of a single individual does not affect this structure,” he said.

JPMorgan Activates BTC & ETH As Institutional Collateral
JPMorgan has officially bridged the gap between "Digital Gold" and "Wholesale Credit."
The activation of direct BTC and ETH collateralization allows institutional giants to finally turn their dormant holdings into immediate USD liquidity without selling a single satoshi.
Operating through the Kinexys (formerly Onyx) digital financing platform, the bank now allows institutional clients like hedge funds and corporate treasuries to pledge BTC and ETH for USD-denominated liquidity.
Unlike previous years where only ETF-wrapped products were supported, this move enables borrowers to leverage their direct on-chain holdings without triggering the capital gains taxes associated with liquidation.
The quantitative framework for these loans is defined by a rigorous risk-weighted haircut model.
Under the current policy, JPMorgan applies a 30% to 50% haircut on BTC and ETH, effectively setting the maximum Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio at 50% to 70% depending on 90-day volatility metrics.
This structure is designed to buffer against the "cascade risk" inherent in crypto markets, where a 15% intraday drop could otherwise trigger systemic liquidations. By treating BTC and ETH as Tier-1 collateral, JPMorgan is effectively putting them on the same playing field as high-quality corporate bonds.
Tri-Party Custody: Assets are not held on the bank’s balance sheet but are secured via qualified third-party custodians like Coinbase Custody and Anchorage Digital. This ensures that the bank facilitates the credit while the assets remain in high-security, audit-ready vaults.
Atomic Settlement: By utilizing the Kinexys blockchain, JPMorgan has reduced the time to move collateral from T+2 days to under 120 seconds. This allows for real-time margin adjustments and prevents the "lag" that often causes over-collateralization in traditional banking.
Tax-Efficiency: Because the institution is borrowing against the asset rather than selling it, they avoid triggering capital gains taxes. This makes crypto-backed credit the most tax-efficient way for "whales" to access their wealth.
The chart clearly shows that BTC collateralized borrowing rates are consistently trending below US high-yield corporate bond yields, even though BTC remains a more volatile asset.

But the evidence shows that Comey and his allies ran a long-term, premeditated, organized plot to overthrow the President of the United States.
The code names of the FBI investigations into Donald Trump form key evidence of this. Nothing is random or coincidental—Comey and company chose code names that reflect their shared goals.
I have already explained how the Hillary email investigation was codenamed "MidYear Exam" because they intended to clear her by mid-2016, before she was anointed as the Democratic presidential candidate at the late-July DNC convention.
I also explained that "Crossfire Hurricane" refers to the Rolling Stones song (from the movie Jumpin' Jack Flash), where the main character is a British spy fighting the Soviets—a clear nod to Christopher Steele and the fabricated "Russian" angle.
Comey and company must conceal this and pretend the code names are arbitrary. They cannot admit that the entire Hillary Clinton investigation was designed to result in her clearance by the "Mid-Year" mark (i.e., before the DNC convention).
The coup plotters also cannot admit that they used British spy Christopher Steele to launch the Trump investigation, knowing full well that Steele was paid by Hillary—and that the so-called Steele Dossier was in fact written by Hillary's cronies and then laundered through Steele.
The official story is that the FBI's Trump-Russia investigation was opened because of a conversation between a junior Trump advisor (George Papadopoulos) and the Australian ambassador in a men's room in a London bar. Yes, it's a ridiculous story, but they have to stick to it. It shifts blame squarely onto the Trump campaign and Russia—not onto a premeditated coup orchestrated by the FBI, the Hillary campaign, British intelligence, the CIA, and the Obama administration.
So they cannot admit that the "Crossfire Hurricane" code name refers to British spy Christopher Steele. (As I've previously explained, it draws from the Rolling Stones song "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and its use in the movie of the same name, where a British agent fights Soviet threats—a clear parallel to Steele fabricating Russian dirt.) The dossier was supposed to arrive after the investigation was already opened, not serve as the reason for launching it.
Instead, they cling to the narrative that long after opening Crossfire Hurricane, they received "independent corroboration" from British intelligence. That's why Steele's FBI codename was CROWN—Comey and company wanted to make it appear as though the information came straight from the British government itself, the Crown. No one could accuse the Queen of meddling in a U.S. election for partisan reasons. The story goes: Steele was simply helping an ally on official orders from his government.
That's exactly why they must stick to their story. The codenames give the whole game away.

China positions hundreds of potential drone-converted J-6W fighters near Taiwan for air defense saturation
20 Mar, 2026 - 12:43
China is positioning large numbers of legacy J-6 fighter jets, potentially converted into J-6W unmanned aerial systems, at forward airbases facing Taiwan, signaling a potential shift toward mass saturation strike capability.
Satellite imagery analyzed by Japan shows these aircraft deployed alongside modern J-16 multirole fighters, as well as preparation for high-intensity air operations potentially designed to overwhelm Taiwan's air defenses.
This force structure could enhance China’s ability to rapidly generate large drone waves, directly impacting Taiwan’s air defense capacity, interceptor stockpiles, and overall battlefield resilience in a high-intensity conflict scenario.
On March 17, 2026, the Japanese National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS) identified the increasing presence of 1960s-era J-6 fighters alongside modern J-16 multirole fighters at high-readiness bases facing Taiwan, based on satellite observation of coastal and inland airbases.
This configuration appears in parallel with the sustained expansion of airbase infrastructure, including runway duplication, apron enlargement, and hardened shelter construction across Fujian and Guangdong.
The central issue is the operational meaning of deploying such aging aircraft, but it becomes coherent when interpreted as part of a broader strategy integrating J-6W unmanned fighter jets.
However, the Japanese analysis focuses on spatial distribution rather than capability, examining how forward deployment, inland concentration, and infrastructure layout indicate a coordinated operational design.
The observed structure combines forward staging areas with rear-area stockpiles, suggesting a scalable force that can be expanded rapidly before or during a conflict.
The key variable is not the performance of individual fighter jets but the relationship between quantity, positioning, and intended use in a potential war against Taiwan.
First, forward airbases along the Taiwan Strait show consistent patterns of modernization designed to support sustained sortie generation.
At Suixi airfield, the addition of a parallel runway, expanded taxiways, and larger apron space increases aircraft handling capacity beyond peacetime requirements, enabling simultaneous operations of multiple squadrons.
Similar upgrades at Longtian airbase include hardened aircraft shelters, ammunition storage, and expanded parking areas capable of supporting dozens of fighters simultaneously.
These features reduce turnaround time between sorties and improve survivability under attack. Furthermore, the scale of construction indicates a possible preparation for continuous operations over multiple days rather than short-duration exercises.
Infrastructure density and redundancy also suggest that the Chinese bases are intended to sustain high attrition rates while maintaining operational output.

This configuration aligns with a possible operational model where drone-converted aircraft are expended in large numbers, mirroring the large-scale use of drones in the Ukraine war or by Iran in the Gulf.
At these forward bases, satellite imagery shows J-6 aircraft positioned on the same apron as J-16 fighters, despite the lack of relevance of these Soviet-era jets.
The modern J-16, equipped for air-to-ground and anti-ship missions, represents a modern strike asset with multi-role capability, while the J-6 is clearly not suited for contemporary air combat due to limited avionics, range, and survivability.
Furthermore, standard Chinese air force practice avoids mixing such fighter types at forward bases because it complicates logistics, maintenance, and mission planning.
The remaining stock of Shenyang J-6s, a jet fighter derived from the Soviet MiG-19 and developed in China during the 1960s, is not marginal but consists of hundreds to potentially several thousand airframes.
The deliberate co-location, therefore, indicates that the J-6 is assigned a role that does not interfere with modern fighter operations. The most plausible interpretation is that these aircraft are not intended for conventional combat but for expendable missions.
Their presence at forward bases suggests immediate availability for rapid launch rather than long-term storage or training use. A second spatial pattern is the concentration of large numbers of J-6 fighters at inland facilities such as Baofeng airfield in Henan province, located approximately 370 km southeast of Xi’an.
This site contains hundreds of legacy aircraft arranged in configurations allowing rapid movement, with taxiways extending into mountain areas that include underground storage.
The absence of hardened shelters and combat support infrastructure indicates that the site is not configured for frontline operations. Instead, the presence of maintenance buildings and open apron space supports the interpretation of a storage and preparation facility.
J-6s are positioned in a manner that allows immediate towing or flight preparation, indicating that they are maintained in a usable condition. This suggests that the inland site functions as a reserve pool from which aircraft can be drawn and redeployed to forward bases.
The distribution of aircraft between inland and coastal bases forms a logistical structure in which a large reserve is held in depth, and a smaller number is positioned forward.
This arrangement allows rapid scaling of available assets by transferring aircraft from rear to front in the period preceding or during a conflict.
If even 1,000 to 3,000 J-6 airframes remain usable, and a fraction is deployed immediately against Taiwan after conversion or preparation into J-6W drones, the number of such drones available for immediate operations can increase significantly within hours or days.
Ferry flight distances from inland sites to coastal bases fall within the operational range of the J-6, enabling relocation without specialized transport. This structure supports surge operations, where initial waves are followed by additional deployments drawn from the reserve.
The fleet is therefore designed for volume and persistence, matching the requirements for the employment of the J-6W drone.
The functional role of these aircraft is linked to long-standing Chinese capabilities in unmanned conversion and remote operation, developed over several decades.
The J-6 airframe, originally capable of carrying up to 500 kg of payload and flying at supersonic speed, can be easily modified to remove pilot systems and integrate autopilot, remote control, or pre-programmed navigation.
In such a configuration, designated as J-6W, the aircraft can operate as a one-way attack system or as a decoy designed to trigger defensive responses.
A converted J-6 can carry an estimated 250 kg payload and travel at approximately 1,600 km/h, reaching targets within 30 to 40 minutes over a 700 km range.
For example, if a defense network can effectively engage 700 Iranian drones, and 1,000 Shaheds arrive within the same engagement window, then 300 drones will pass through unchallenged regardless of interception efficiency.

This combination of speed and payload increases the kinetic and explosive effect compared to smaller drones, while reducing interception time. The absence of a pilot allows the aircraft to be used in missions where loss is expected.
In a Taiwan conflict scenario, these aircraft could be deployed in large numbers as an initial wave to force the activation of air defense systems and the expenditure of interceptors.
If we imagine, based on known information about China and Taiwan, that 700 to 1,000 J-6W drones could be launched within a short timeframe, and that Taiwan's defensive doctrine requires two interceptors per target, this would require 1,400 to 2,000 missiles to engage fully.
With an estimated available pool of 1,200 to 1,800 interceptors across all layers, the saturation would occur once the maximum number of incoming targets a Taiwanese air defense system can effectively detect, track, and attempt to intercept is exceeded.
Assuming an 80 percent interception rate, a wave of 1,000 J-6Ws would still result in 200 penetrating attacks, delivering approximately 50,000 kg of payload. The time required to launch such a wave, at 100 to 250 aircraft per hour from multiple bases, would range from 4 to 8 hours.
This creates a scenario in which Taiwan's missile defensive capacity can be degraded within a single operational day, given that an air defense radar cannot distinguish with certainty between an unmanned jet such as the J-6W and a modern fighter jet such as the J-16.
Recent conflicts, such as in Ukraine or around Iran, show that large-scale use of expendable aerial systems can impose unfavorable cost ratios on defenders, and it is common knowledge that China is studying them closely in order to improve its tactics.
In Ukraine, drones costing $10k to $50k have forced the use of interceptors costing up to $3M, creating sustained economic pressure and gradual depletion of missile stocks on both sides.
The J-6-based model differs in that each unit has a higher speed and payload, increasing destructive potential while maintaining a lower cost than modern missiles.
However, the larger radar signature of the aircraft makes detection easier, and reliance on runways limits launch flexibility compared to truck-launched drones.
The effectiveness of the approach, therefore, depends on maintaining a high launch rate and coordinating multiple waves to sustain pressure, to oblige Taiwan to use its stockpile of anti-aircraft missiles.
From a strategic perspective, the approach targets the depletion of Taiwan's air defense systems rather than attempting an immediate destruction of all assets.
Therefore, the decisive factor becomes the ratio between incoming targets and available interceptors, combined with the cost of each engagement. If defensive forces rely primarily on high-cost interceptors, a rapid depletion could occur within 24 to 48 hours under sustained attack.
If layered defense with lower-cost systems and electronic warfare systems is implemented, the saturation threshold increases to 1,200 to 1,500 incoming aircraft, extending the duration of effective defense to several days.
The tactic could therefore be effective for China in the initial phase of a conflict with Taiwan, particularly if it forces the use of expensive interceptors, but its long-term impact depends on the defender’s ability to adapt.
Like in Ukraine and in the Gulf, the potential outcome of this scenario would be determined by the scale of J-6 conversions, inventory depth, and the ability for Taiwan to maintain is defensive effectiveness under sustained pressure.

Switzerland Temporarily Suspends Arms Exports to the United States Due to Its Neutrality in the War Against Iran
The Swiss Government announced that it will not grant new licenses to export war materiel to the United States while the armed conflict with Iran continues.
This is based on the Swiss federal law on war materiel, which strictly prohibits exports to countries involved in active international armed conflicts.
According to the official statement, “the export of war materiel to countries involved in the international armed conflict with Iran cannot be authorised for the duration of the conflict.”
The United States, which in 2025 was the second-largest buyer of Swiss armaments, now faces blocked new authorizations, although existing ones are not immediately revoked.
This suspension adds to previous rejections: since February 28, when U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran began, no new exports have been authorized.
The President of the Confederation, Guy Parmelin, had already warned Parliament in March that if the conflict reaches “a certain duration and intensity,” neutrality law would apply, which could lead to reviewing or suspending prior authorizations.
This temporary halt directly responds to the U.S. involvement in the war, avoiding any indirect support for military operations.
Swiss neutrality is not mere rhetoric; the same approach led to rejecting two requests for overflights by U.S. reconnaissance aircraft linked to the conflict, while three non-combat transport flights were approved.
The Swiss Government emphasizes that it only permits flights “demonstrably unrelated to the conflict,” thereby protecting its neutral status since 1815.
This stance raises concerns in the Swiss defense industry, which partly relies on contracts with Washington, but it prioritizes the constitutional principle of not getting involved in foreign wars.
As we had previously reported in Gateway Hispanic on developments in the conflict, this decision highlights how neutrality can clash with strategic alliances in times of global war.

'Radical' Biden Judge Reverses RFK Jr. On Trans-Child Surgeries, Other Procedures
A federal judge deemed 'too radical' by GOP lawmakers during his confirmation hearings said on Thursday that he will grant a motion by blue states to vacate (reverse) a declaration by HHS Director Robert F. Kennedy Jr. blocking breast removal and other procedures for youths with gender dysphoria.
Oregon US District Judge Mustafa Kasubhai, who was appointed by Biden in late 2024 and only confirmed after Senate Democrats invoked cloture on his nomination by a 51-43 vote, said during a hearing that he would soon issue a formal written opinion and an order denying the government's bid to dismiss the states' case, and granting the states' motion for summary judgement, according to court records.
Kennedy issued a declaration in late 2025 that "ex-rejecting procedures for children and adolescents are neither safe nor effective as a treatment modality for gender dysphoria, gender incongruence, or other related disorders in minors, and therefore, fail to meet professional recognized standards of health care."
This was based on a report by the Department of Health and Human Services which looked at procedures and treatments available for gender dysphoria, and concluded that many of them risk infertility. The Trump administration said that health care providers who perform breast removal and other procedures would be out of compliance with updated standards, while officials also moved to bar hospitals that participate in Medicare or Medicaid from performing the procedures on children.
New York and 18 other states immediately sued, claiming that the new rules were illegal, and "amounts to an end-run around the free choice of provider statute because it effectively bars Medicaid beneficiaries from choosing providers that are otherwise qualified, simply because they furnish gender-affirming care to children or adolescents," the states said in their motion for summary judgement.
New York Attorney General Letitia James, one of the plaintiffs, said the forthcoming ruling siding with the states showed Kennedy “cannot unilaterally change medical standards by posting a document online, and no one should lose access to medically necessary health care because their federal government tried to interfere in decisions that belong in doctors’ offices.” -Epoch Times
At least 17 hospitals or health centers have been referred for possible punitive action for violating the HHS declaration, they said.

Underwater Drone Detects Strange Object at 2,567 Meters; It Turns Out to Be France’s Deepest-Known Shipwreck
March 20, 2026 at 07:15
For a while, it looked like just another anomaly on a sonar screen.
The French Navy was surveying the seabed off Ramatuelle, near Saint-Tropez, in early March 2025 when an underwater drone picked up something large more than 2,500 meters below the surface.
A follow-up look with a camera suggested this was no rock formation. It was a ship.
What emerged from the images was a wreck so deep that no one had catalogued anything like it before in French waters.
The vessel, now known as Camarat 4, lies at 2,567 meters in the Mediterranean Sea and appears to be a 16th-century merchant ship, still surrounded by much of its cargo.
French officials said it is the deepest shipwreck ever found in waters under French jurisdiction.
The depth explains why the discovery has drawn so much attention. At that distance below the surface, human interference is far less likely. Marine archaeologists were not looking for a Renaissance-era trading vessel when they found it.
The drone was part of a government mission focused on the seabed itself, including minerals and undersea cables, when it happened upon the wreck by chance.
Underwater Drone Discovery off the Coast of Ramatuelle
The first detection happened on March 4, 2025, during a French seabed operation off the Var coast.
According to Deputy Maritime Prefect Thierry de la Burgade, sonar revealed “something quite big,” prompting the team to return with a camera and then an underwater robot capable of taking sharper images.
Those later passes confirmed the site’s scale and structure.
Officials later identified the wreck as a merchant vessel from the 16th century. The provisional name comes from nearby Cap Camarat and its listing order in the area.
Arnaud Schaumasse, who heads the culture ministry’s underwater archaeology department, described the find in direct terms: “It’s the deepest shipwreck ever found in French territorial waters.”
That record matters because depth is central to the story. Unlike many shallower wrecks, this one remained out of reach for salvage, tourism, or casual disturbance. That alone makes it a major deep-sea archaeology discovery.
Ancient Cargo Preserved on the Mediterranean Seabed
The ship appears to have been sailing from northern Italy when it sank.
Among the most visible objects on the seabed are around 200 ceramic jugs with pinched spouts, many still grouped together, along with roughly 100 yellow plates, two cauldrons, six cannons, an anchor, and metal bars.

DNI Tulsi Gabbard Confirms SEIZURE of Puerto Rico Voting Machines — Locked Down in Secure ODNI Facility for Forensic Audit
During the ODNI threat assessment hearing, Ranking Member Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT) pressed Gabbard on the unprecedented seizure.
Jim Himes:
Okay, Director, the ODNI has confirmed on the record that your office took custody of voting machines from Puerto Rico last May. I'm not aware of any previous DNI taking similar actions. Did your office promptly notify the committee about taking custody of Puerto Rico's voting machines?
DNI Tulsi Gabbard:
I don't believe we did. However, this was done at the request of the Puerto Rico AUSA attorney.
Jim Himes:
It's a yes-or-no question. The answer, as you have acknowledged, is no. You did not inform the committee about the taking of a territory's voting machines. Is there a specific foreign threat? I've read the reporting that you were looking for possible foreign threats, but is there a specific foreign threat that drove you to take this action?
DNI Tulsi Gabbard:
There were questions about whether or not there were vulnerabilities that a threat could have taken advantage of, and that was the purpose for their requesting us to look into those vulnerabilities.
Jim Himes:
Where are those voting machines now?
DNI Tulsi Gabbard:
I believe they are held in a secure facility at ODNI.
Jim Himes:
Have you or other ODNI officials taken any other state or territories' voting equipment into custody?
DNI Tulsi Gabbard:
Not to my knowledge.

Some of the jugs carry the monogram “IHS,” the first three letters of the Greek name of Jesus, while others bear plant-inspired or geometric designs.
Those details point to the Liguria region in what is now northern Italy. The cargo makes the wreck more than a maritime mystery. It is also a snapshot of Renaissance trade moving across the western Mediterranean.
There are also signs that the ship still has more to reveal. Archaeologists have noted that part of the stern appears unusually empty, even though cargo space on merchant ships of that period was used carefully.
That raises the possibility that some material remains buried in the sediment around the wreck.
France’s Deepest Shipwreck Frozen in Time
The most striking feature of Camarat 4 may be its state of preservation.
Marine Sadania, an archaeologist working on the site, said, “The site—thanks to its depth, which prevented any recovery or looting—has remained intact, as if time froze, which is exceptional.”
At 2,567 meters down, the ship was simply out of reach for the kind of disturbance that often strips shallower wrecks of their contents.
That does not mean the site is untouched by the present. Researchers also spotted modern debris among the 16th-century artifacts, including a soda can and an empty yogurt pot.
The contrast is hard to miss: a preserved merchant ship from five centuries ago lying beside evidence of modern marine pollution.
That detail gives the discovery a second layer of relevance. The wreck is not only an archaeological story.
It is also a reminder that even the deep seabed now carries traces of contemporary waste.
3D Reconstruction Planned for the Camarat 4 Wreck
For now, the plan is not a full excavation. Over the next two years, the archaeological team intends to build a 3D reconstruction of the wreck and take selected samples for study.
The goal is to document the site closely while limiting disruption to a shipwreck that has survived for centuries in exceptional condition.
That caution is partly practical. The depth places the wreck near the limit of current equipment, which means any future intervention has to be carefully planned.
For now, the ship remains where it sank, in darkness far below the coast, with its ceramics, cannons, and metal cargo still spread across the seabed.

DOJ Launches Criminal Probes Into Outgoing Colombian ‘Narco-President’ Gustavo Petro.
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has directed federal prosecutors in both Manhattan and Brooklyn to open criminal investigations into Colombia’s radical socialist President, Gustavo Petro, over alleged meetings with drug traffickers and accusations that he is accepted campaign contributions from criminal cartels. Both federal criminal probes appear to be in the earliest stages, and it is unclear whether either will result in criminal charges.Colombia’s Petro is one of the last remaining critics of U.S. President Donald J. Trump in South America. However, Petro is term-limited and is set to leave office after Colombia’s May 2026 presidential election, suggesting the DOJ’s criminal probes are setting the stage for the alleged narco-leader’s prosecution after his presidential term expires.
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) are involved in these inquiries. However, despite the long-standing acrimony between President Trump and Petro, there is currently no evidence that the investigations were requested or initiated by the White House, and allegations of Petro’s involvement with drug traffickers and criminal cartels long predate Trump’s second term in office.
The National Pulse reported in October last year that Petro had suggested in an interview with the Spanish-language network Univision that “getting rid of” Trump may be necessary. These comments came just one day after President Trump called Petro a “lunatic” and vowed to halt foreign aid and other payments to Colombia over Petro’s inability to shut down the illicit cocaine trade. A month later, Petro again attacked President Trump, calling him a “barbarian” for authorizing the U.S. military to destroy cartel drug boats in the Caribbean and the Pacific.
In 2023, Petro’s eldest son, Nicolas, admitted that illicit campaign contributions from people connected to cartels had flowed into his father’s presidential campaign accounts. Still, no charges were filed against Petro himself. However, the U.S Department of the Treasury did sanction Petro and several of his family members in late 2025.

6 Ways Big Pharma and Big Food Are Trying to Control the Natural Healthcare Industry in the U.S.
Big Pharma and Big Food’s tentacles reach deep into almost every area that controls which products, services and health information the majority of the population have access to. They have a disproportionate influence on political systems, regulation, markets, medical standards, information control, legal pressure and cultural conditioning.
America is the research and development capital of natural health. The range of dietary supplements and other natural health products available on the U.S. market dwarfs that in many other global markets, especially the European Union, which has long used regulation as a tool to remove products that compete with drugs.
But anyone with keen eyes on the U.S. market will recognize that the diversity of products on the U.S. market has flatlined in recent years, especially when compared with the boom that followed the passage of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act of 1994.
Why has innovation declined? Why has natural health not assumed its rightful place as the mainstay of healthcare, as distinct from disease management?
In this article, we investigate the intricate, multi-factorial manner by which special interests work to keep natural health at the margins of healthcare.
America’s health crisis
The U.S. spends more on healthcare than any country in the world by a wide margin. In 2024 alone, spending reached an estimated $5.3 trillion, about 18% of the gross domestic product, averaging over $15,000 per person.
Yet despite this extraordinary investment, the U.S. consistently ranks near the bottom of high-income nations for life expectancy, chronic disease burden and preventable deaths. Put simply, the industrialized country that spends the most on healthcare is also the least healthy.
The scale of ill health makes this contradiction difficult to ignore. Research in 2023 found that 76.4% of American adults live with at least one chronic condition, while 51.4% were managing multiple chronic illnesses.
For many Americans, long-term disease has become normalized rather than exceptional. This raises a fundamental question: what role is the U.S. healthcare system actually playing?
Prescription drugs remain the most important intervention used for people with chronic diseases. While many drugs are lifesaving and essential, prescription medications are now recognized as the third leading cause of death in industrialized countries, behind only heart disease and cancer.
Public criticism has therefore focused heavily on Big Pharma, and much of that concern is justified. However, pharmaceutical dominance alone does not explain why Americans are so sick. Health outcomes are shaped long before a prescription is written.

Massie says he'll read the Epstein list in Congress
then:
Democrat Donors Flood Cash To Trump-Backed Massie Challenger
Democrat donors are flooding cash into former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein’s bid to oust Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie.
Gallrein is running in Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District and has been endorsed by President Donald Trump. But despite previously criticizing the political makeup of Massie’s donors, Gallrein has received a number of high-value donations from people who have previously given to Democrat candidates.
85% of donors who contributed the maximum amount allowable to Gallrein’s campaign have a history of donating to Democratic candidates, a Daily Caller review of Federal Election Commission (FEC) records found.
Of the 141 donors identifiedin the fourth quarter who contributed the $3,500 primary maximum or more to Gallrein, 120 of them had previously donated to Democrats.
112 of those donors are also high-dollar contributors to Democratic campaigns, meaning roughly 79% both maxed out to Gallrein and have made substantial donations to Democrats.
Gallrein claimed during a Feb. 25 appearance on Hugh Hewitt’s show that his campaign money was coming from “conservatives.”

“Let me give you an example: my money is coming from conservatives — not from the same people who got Mamdani elected,” Gallrein said in response to a question about whether he had the financial juice to take on Massie.
“I’ve challenged journalists to look into where his funding is coming from — there’s a Pulitzer Prize waiting for whoever does that research,” Gallrein said. “The sentiment right now is like a pressure valve being released. There’s finally a viable candidate, and it’s a one-on-one race — not a split field he’s benefited from in the past. And his money isn’t coming from Kentucky.”
When reached by the Daily Caller about the discrepancy between Gallrein’s comments and his actual donors, the Gallrein campaign stated they found the line of questioning “ridiculous.”
