Reid, who should have quit her hairstyle before quitting Xwitter, explained thatshe decided to give up her account with 1.9 million followers because “it was just not worth it.” She added that after Elon Musk bought the site, she stopped posting on Xwitter but still used it to get the latest news.(Does anyone believe she has 1.9 million real followers? I don't)

But “in order to do the news aggregation and just look at all,you have to wade through a lot of dreck and a lot of, just, abuse, and a lot of just, negativity,” she said. “And it’s just not worth it.” (OMG she just described herself daily on the TV.)

Reid has now joined the far-left Guardian and Don Lemon in fleeing Xwitter in the wake of Donald Trump’s triumphant reelection.

Leftists cannot stand free speech. It’s as simple as that. Leftists are notoriously thin-skinned and cannot handle any sort of environment where their ideas are openly challenged. Leftists are narcissists and cannot handle ridicule.

Leftists are wrong about everythingand cannot stand to have facts and their own hypocrisies and double standards thrown in their smug faces.

These dreadful people adored Twitter when that fascist Jack Dorsey blacklisted anyone who dared talk back to them and when they were the foo-foo elites with the blue checkmarks. But now that it’s an even playing field, it is intolerable for them.

Russian scientists make alarming 5G discovery

Cellphone radiation has led to changes in the brain tissue of lab rats

Controlled exposure to the 5G radiation spectrum has resulted in changes to the brain tissue of laboratory rats, according to a team of scientists from Tomsk State University (TSU) in Russia.

Ever since the introduction of 5G cellphone infrastructure, there have been concerns about its potential health effects. The International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified the 5G radio frequency electromagnetic field (RF-EMF) as a “possible” human carcinogen, but no conclusive research has emerged either way.

“We decided to find out what the effect of non-ionizing radiation is on rodents of different ages,” Natalia Krivova, lead researcher at the TSU’s Biology and Biophysics Research Institute, said in a statement this week.

TSU scientists experimented on male Wistar rats, preferred by scientists for having similar reactions to external stimuli as humans. They tested three different age groups: 5-6 week old rats (corresponding to human adolescents), 10-11 week old (human adults age 40 and up) and rats aged 17-18 weeks (humans 65 and older). All were exposed to RF-EMF frequencies for five weeks, which is equivalent to about four years of human lifespan.

The study showed no outward changes between the rats exposed to the radiation and the control group.

“However, a more detailed study of the rats’ brain tissue after exposure to the 5G antenna revealed a significant change in the ratio of antioxidants and oxidants,” Krivova said.

It is still unclear whether the changes will lead to positive or negative changes in the rats’ cognitive abilities, or whether their bodies will somehow compensate for the disruption, she added, calling for further research into the subject.

The Tomsk study represents the first time scientists have been able to measure the radiation absorption rate on caged rodents, according to the university. The TSU radiophysics team led by Professor Sergey Shipilov designed the 5G antenna for the experiment, and a team led by postgraduate student Ramdas Mazmanazarov developed a method for measuring the absorption rate. Their work was published earlier this year in the journal Applied Sciences.

The study was part of the International Electromagnetic Field Project, initiated by the World Health Organization (WHO) to obtain science-based and objective answers to questions of public concern about the possible health risks from 5G electromagnetic fields.

According to Krivova, the next stage of research is intended to study female rats and investigate how 5G radiation might affect their offspring, if funding can be secured.

Under fire from critics including her hometown Chicago newspaper, Oprah Winfrey is now seeking to explain the $1 million fee paid to her production company for a town hall event supporting Kamala Harris.

Before the election, Winfrey's Harpo Productions helped stage a star-studded town hall event for the vice president in Michigan as the billionaire entertainment mogul enthusiastically endorsed Harris to be the next president of the United States.

The Harris campaign footed the bill for organizing the town hall and made a $1 million payment to Winfrey's production company, Harpo Productions.

When first publicly confronted by TMZ with the news on Monday, Winfrey appeared to give a denial.

'Not true' she said, when a cameraman asked her about the payment. 'I was paid nothing. Ever.'

But Winfrey is now scrambling to clarify her remarks in an Instagram post on The Shade Room show account.

'Usually I am reluctant to respond to rumors in general, but these days I realize that if you don’t stop a lie, it just gets bigger,' she wrote.

Winfrey said her production team billed the $1 million fee to the Harris campaign to host the Michigan event on her behalf.

'[M]y production company Harpo was asked to bring in set design, lights, cameras, microphones, crew, producers, and every other item necessary (including the benches and chairs we sat on) to put on a live production,' she wrote.

'Winfrey clarified that she personally did not get 'one dime' from the campaign.

'I did not take any personal fee,' she said. 'However the people who worked on that production needed to be paid. And were. End of story.'

The event featured virtual appearances by A-listers including Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lopez and Bryan Cranston.

The Chicago Tribune blasted the billionaire former talk show host over her decision to allow her company to accept the payment, suggesting Winfrey should have paid her workers' fees herself.

'Frankly, $1 million is not all that much to Winfrey and so we very much doubt that she was seeking any kind of personal payday from her chosen candidate,' the editorial board wrote in a column.

'But she does own Harpo and serves as its chairwoman and CEO. The production fees should have been a campaign donation.'

The unprecedented trade and military deal would bypass Mercosur, reports say

Argentine President Javier Milei intends to announce a new pact with the US while visiting President-elect Donald Trump at his Florida residence, according to the media in Buenos Aires.

The Libertarian politician has made major cuts to Argentina’s government apparatus in less than a year since he’s been president. He arrived at Mar-a-Lago on Thursday for an investor event scheduled to run till Saturday.

In his speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) investor summit, Milei is expected to call for the formation of a “league of conservative nations,” according to Argentine media reports. He reportedly wants a pact with the US committing to “freedom of trade and military cooperation.”

Milei hopes that Trump’s victory in the US presidential election last week will make it easier for Argentina to negotiate with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) over $44 billion worth of debt, reports said. Economy Minister Luis Caputo has said he would like a $10 million disbursement to strengthen Central Bank reserves and remove capital controls.

Argentina is interested in forging closer ties between the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and its State Intelligence Secretariat (SIDE).

Earlier this week, Milei praised Trump for “copying our model” for slashing government bureaucracy, revealing that his Deregulation and State Transformation Minister Federico Sturzenegger had been in touch with tech billionaire Elon Musk “to see how to deregulate the US economy.”

Trump recently named Musk to the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an extra-governmental agency tasked with cutbacks and reforms in Washington, with a mandate through July 4, 2026. Milei and Musk are reportedly supposed to meet in Florida.

Milei’s trade pact with the US would be a body blow for Mercosur, the Southern Common Market organization that includes Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay. The bloc is currently attempting to negotiate a trade deal with the EU.

Following his trip to Mar-a-Lago, Milei is scheduled to host French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday in Buenos Aires, attend the G20 Leaders Summit in Brazil on Monday, and fly back to Argentina to host Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni next Wednesday.

On Thursday, after speaking with Trump, Milei recalled his delegation from the UN climate conference (COP29) in Azerbaijan.

The Argentine government plans to replace the current agency with a new one and slash jobs by a third

Argentina’s government has announced plans to dissolve the country’s tax bureau and replace it with a new “simplified” agency. Staffing will be reduced by just over a third in the process of the restructuring.

According to a statement released by the government on Monday, the Federal Administration of Public Income (AFIP) will be renamed as the Customs Revenue and Control Agency. Over 3,000 positions within the dissolved agency will be eliminated in an effort to reduce “inefficient structures.”

Around 45% of the senior-level positions will be eliminated, while lower-level staffing will be reduced by 31%. This is projected to generate annual savings of around 6.4 billion pesos (around $6.6 million), according to government estimates.

“The step is essential to dismantle the unnecessary bureaucracy that has hindered the economic and commercial freedom of Argentines,” the statement reads, highlighting that the new agency will function as “a more simplified, more efficient, less costly and less bureaucratic structure.”

The statement referred to the employment of 3,155 workers as being “irregular” and raised questions about the legality of their hiring under former President Alberto Fernandez, whose team is often the target of criticism by the current government headed by Javier Milei.

“The Argentina of fiscal voracity is over. What belongs to every Argentine is theirs and no one else’s. No state bureaucrat should have the power to tell them what to do with their property,” presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni said, commenting on the restructuring, as cited by the Buenos Aires Times.

Inaugurated in December 2023, Milei, a former TV pundit, has pledged to cut 70,000 jobs from the state sector and terminate over 200,000 social welfare programs as part of his shock therapy reforms aimed at stabilizing the country’s ailing economy. The budget-slashing measures include eliminating or downgrading a number of government ministries and state agencies.

The union representing the employees of the dismantled bureau announced plans for a strike in response to the announcement. “We are going to mobilize and we will take more measures as soon as we know the details. The most worrying thing is the 3,100 jobs of our colleagues,” union chief Pablo Flores told the Buenos Aires Times.
