Kevin Spacey tonight breaks down in tears as he reveals he does not have any money and is being forced to sell his home.

The disgraced Hollywood actor tells Piers Morgan Uncensored that he is on the brink of being declared bankrupt after having to pay millions in legal fees to battle a high-profile sexual assault court case.

In the bombshell interview airing at 8pm on YouTube, Spacey, 64, reveals his home in Baltimore is being put up for auction as he no longer can afford to pay the bills.

Asked where he is living now, he says: 'So the answer to that question is, I'm not quite sure where I'm going to live now, but I have been in Baltimore since we started shooting House of Cards there.'

He has twice dodged bankruptcy since being cut off by Hollywood after allegations were made against the double Oscar winner of sexual misconduct in 2017.

Streaming giant Netflix also dropped Spacey for breach of contract. He was ordered in 2021 by an arbitrator to pay nearly $31 million to the studio that made the hit Netflix show, House of Cards.

But in February he agreed a settlement with Media Rights Capital (MRC) to pay $1 million.

And Spacey reveals in the interview with Mr Morgan he is virtually now penniless and owes 'many millions'.

'Well I mean, you have some sense of legal bills,' he says. 'I still owe a lot of legal bills that I have not been able to pay.'

Spacey was one of the most recognised faces in Hollywood until allegations of sexual misconduct were made.

In July last year Spacey faced trial at Southwark Crown Court over nine sexual offences charges in a case involving four men. He vehemently denied their claims and the jury acquitted him of all charges.

Spacey said he was 'humbled' after being cleared of sexual assault in a high-profile trial that saw Sir Elton John give evidence in his defence.

He was fired from Netflix series House of Cards in 2017 after being accused of molesting actor Anthony Rapp when he was 14 and Spacey was 26.

Spacey was found not liable during a civil trial in New York in 2022, with the jury concluding that the event had not taken place.

Spacey won two Academy Awards as best supporting actor for The Usual Suspects in 1996 and best actor in 2000 for American Beauty, which also secured him a Bafta for leading actor.

Last month he emotionally vowed that he 'won't give up on acting' after fresh allegations were made against him in a Channel 4 bombshell documentary.

The star accused the broadcaster of 'having an agenda' in deciding to go ahead with airing its two-part film, Spacey Unmasked.

The documentary featured previously unheard testimonies about the actor's alleged inappropriate behaviour.

Spacey appeared close to tears and his voice started to break during an emotional interview this week as he defiantly vowed not to give up on a return to Hollywood.

A raft of A-listers - including Liam Neeson and Sharon Stone - have rallied around the Oscar-winning star to call for an end to his 'seven year exile'.

Speaking to The Telegraph, he admitted he had behaved poorly and done inappropriate things in the past.

But he said he had been focused on growing and becoming a better person in the last seven years.

'If anyone thinks that I don't sorely regret the mistakes that I have made or the choices I've made or that I hurt anyone along the way then you aren't aware of the personal work that I have been doing for the last seven years,' he said.

Appearing to be close to tears, his voice started to break as he continued: 'If anyone thinks I'm going to give up on acting they have got me wrong on all counts.'

Defending Spacey, Sharon Stone said she 'can't wait to see Kevin back at work'.

'He is a genius. He is so elegant and fun, generous to a fault and knows more about our craft than most of us ever will,' she told the Daily Telegraph.

The Basic Instinct star, 66, said it was clear aspiring actors had 'wanted and want to be around him'.

Liam Neeson also gave a glowing testimony of Spacey's character.

'I was deeply saddened to learn of these accusations against him. Kevin is a good man and a man of character,' he said.

'He's sensitive, articulate and non-judgemental, with a terrific sense of humour. He is also one of our finest artists in the theatre and on camera. Personally speaking, our industry needs him and misses him greatly.'

A number of top Senate Republicans are signaling support for term limits for their next Leader as Mitch McConnell, 82, is set to step down from the position in November, the Daily Caller has learned.

Since McConnell announced his retirement, Texas Sen. John Cornyn, South Dakota Sen. John Thune and Florida Sen. Rick Scott have announced they are running to be the next GOP Senate Leader. Two of those three, along with several other notable Republican senators, told the Caller they support term limits for the next leader.

Thune’s office was the only of the three leadership candidates to not state where he stands on the issue.

His office referred the Caller to a Politico article that said he’s “open to discussing term limits on the next Republican leader, with a critical caveat that the topic needs to be part of a broader conversation within the Senate GOP.”

Cornyn has stated: “One reason I am running to be the next Republican Leader is because I believe the Senate needs more engagement from all of my colleagues, and that includes the opportunity for any Member to serve in Leadership. I will support a conference vote to change the rules and institute term limits for the Republican Leader.”

Scott told told the Caller that Washington is currently “built on backroom deals and bad politicians getting comfortable, complacent and forgetting that they represent the people that elected them, not DC special interests.”

“Republicans all across America support term limits because it’s common sense and desperately needed,” he continued. “We have a broken system and we need a dramatic sea change and someone with a turn-around background to fix it. I’ve spent my life shaking things up. We need that in Washington right now and it’s why I’m running to be Republican leader.”

Utah Republican Sen. Mike Lee hinted that he wanted to see where Thune stood on the matter, as Cornyn and Scott have been clear.

“So far, Rick Scott and John Cornyn have pledged to abide by term limits if elected GOP leader. Can other contenders match that offer, or promise other reforms to the Senate? I look forward to hearing from them,” Lee told the Caller.

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and the office of Wyoming Sen. Cynthia Lummis told the Caller they, too, support term limits for the next leader.

“I think it would be a good idea to have term limits,” Rubio told the Caller. “Senator Lummis fully supports term limits for the Republican Leader. Senate Republicans have term limits for committee chairs, whip and conference chair, so it only makes sense our party’s leader is term limited as well,” Lummis’s office told the Caller.

Several other Republican Senators, including Mississippi’s Cindy Hyde-Smith, Montana’s Steve Daines, Nebraska’s Pete Ricketts and North Carolina’s Ted Budd either did not respond to the Caller’s inquiry or did not give a firm answer either way on the issue.

McConnell is the longest-serving party leader of all time in the Senate, and has been serving in the Senate since 1984. According to Real Clear Politics, McConnell is rated as Americans’ most disliked political leader, with favorability ratings that are worse than President Joe Biden’s. However, his grip on power within the GOP has remained ironclad for years, dating back to 2007 when he first became leader.

Missouri AG Sues Planned Parenthood Allegedly Trafficking Minors Out of State for Abortions

Project Veritas Investigates Planned Parenthood

Attorney General Andrew Bailey is suing Planned Parenthood in Missouri for allegedly trafficking minors out of state for abortions without parental consent. Bailey decided to file the lawsuit in February 2024 after years of Planned Parenthood's "flagrant and intentional refusal to comply with state law," according to a press release. "It is against the law in Missouri to intentionally cause, aid, or assist a minor to obtain an abortion without parental consent in another state. § 188.250, RSMo." Bailey seeks a court order to block the clinic from subjecting children to such treatment. Bailey, whose daughter died in his arms within an hour of her birth, says it is time to stop what Planned Parenthood "conceal[s] and conspire[s] to do in the dark of the night."

The case references parts one and two of an undercover investigation from Project Veritas (PV) showing Planned Parenthood staff admitting they traffic minors "every day" across state lines to Kansas. An undercover PV reporter was sent to a clinic in Kansas City, MO, and posed as an adult who may know the child but is not the parent.

Planned Parenthood seems to be using a loophole that allows "adults other than parents" to transport girls to clinics in the neighboring state of Kansas. There are allegedly two clinics in Kansas that perform abortions on minor children. Planned Parenthood runs one, and the other "is next door." The director offered to call ahead for the undercover reporter because it helps avoid getting "the runaround."

Stunningly, according to the lawsuit, minors are allegedly being removed from schools with a signed doctor's note from Planned Parenthood and no parental consent. Schools purportedly have to comply because of the doctor's note. In some cases, schools may not even know minors are being taken over state lines for the procedure. According to the staff being filmed, Planned Parenthood chips in for some if not all of the costs, sets up hotels, and arranges the transportation. The lawsuit states that Missouri law prohibits "permitting a child to obtain an abortion without counsel of" a parent, as adjudicated in Planned Parenthood of Cent. Missouri v. Danforth, 428 U.S. 52, 72 (1976).

In many cases, parents are not even aware their child is being taken to Kansas for an abortion. In those situations, another adult is tasked with transporting the minor. The director told the PV reporter that it is advisable to "call ahead" if you are not the parent. In the video, the staff member and the managing director instruct the reporter to tell the Kansas clinics that the minor's parents are unaware of the need to help with a "bypass."

As stated by the Planned Parenthood staff in the video, "If you're trying to do it without the parents knowing, then you need to call because they need to do a bypass. They will bypass without the parents knowing, but just make sure you tell them" so you can do it "without the parents knowing." There is allegedly a "service" that will pick the child up and transport the child to avoid exploitation of the child. The video also presumably shows Planned Parenthood staff confirming no documentation is needed to prove someone is a "related adult."

Project Veritas also reported that the Kansas clinic "frequently sees out-of-state patients" from "mostly Texas and Oklahoma patients." However, Planned Parenthood clinics in Illinois, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., are also seeing out-of-state minors, according to PV reporting. In some cases, according to Project Veritas, Planned Parenthood is coaching minors to "rubber stamp abortions for minors."

According to a Managing Director for Planned Parenthood in Texas, "They would give the girls a script that she would need to read to a judge…They knew every judge, and they had a relationship with the judge that would rubber stamp the consent for this minor to get an abortion.

In addition, Planned Parenthood also admitted in 2018 in court that itfailed to properly file reports documenting "medical complications from abortions." In 2020, the state also foundPlanned Parenthood was not notifying women of the risks of abortion even though Missouri law requires it.

The lawsuit states that Planned Parenthood clinics are all "affiliated, one big clinic pretty much," allowing funds to be shared everywhere, making it easier for minors to receive services and abortions.

House Democrats step up to try to stop Project 2025 plans for a Trump White House

WASHINGTON (AP) — Warning about the far-right Project 2025 agenda for a Donald Trump White House, a group of House Democrats has launched a task force to start fighting the proposal and stop it from taking hold if the Republican former president returns to power.

Democratic Rep. Jared Huffman of California is unveiling The Stop Project 2025 Task Force on Tuesday, the latest sign that congressional Democrats and outside groups are treating Trump’s campaign seriously in the expected rematch against Democratic President Joe Biden this fall.

“The stakes just couldn’t be higher,” Huffman told The Associated Press.

Huffman said the Project 2025 agenda will hit “like a Blitzkrieg” and lawmakers need to be ready.

“If we’re trying to react to it and understand it in real time, it’s too late,” he said. “We need to see it coming well in advance and prepare ourselves accordingly.”

The Democratic-led task force comes as groups on and off Capitol Hill are increasingly alarmed over Project 2025, a sweeping blueprint from the conservative Heritage Foundation that is preparing to quickly help staff a new GOP administration with plans for dismantling aspects of the federal government and installing loyalists for a second Trump term.

Kevin Roberts, the president of The Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action for America, scoffed at the “unserious” effort and said the left is “in a frenzy” as Project 2025 tries to wrest control of the federal bureaucracy.

“Project 2025 will not be ‘stopped,’” Roberts said in a statement. He said the Democrats fighting Project 2025 are “more than welcome to try. We will not give up and we will win.”

While the Trump campaign has repeatedly said that outside groups do not speak for the former president, Project 2025’s 1,000-page proposal was drafted with input from a long list of former Trump administration officials who are poised to fill the top ranks of a potential new administration.

Core to the Project 2025 plan is ousting thousands of civil servants and replacing them with personnel from a database of applicants, an effort to reverse the setbacks of Trump’s first term, when many of his more extreme ideas were thwarted and blocked by those refusing to break norms or overextend presidential powers.

Huffman’s group is the latest to take on the Project 2025 proposal and plans for a Trump White House.

Last week, one of the nation’s leading civil rights organizations, the American Civil Liberties Union, announced it was preparing potential legal action to stop Trump’s campaign promise to launch mass deportations of immigrants on the first day of his presidency if elected. It’s the first of several memos the ACLU is rolling out, offering a blueprint on how it plans to respond to a second Trump or Biden term.

And others are detailing alleged threats to democracy if Trump’s attacks on the judicial system, plans to pardon those convicted in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol and threats of vengeance on political enemies take hold.

Huffman’s group is made up of about a half-dozen House Democratic lawmakers in a loose coalition separate from party leadership. It plans to begin briefing fellow lawmakers about Project 2025, hold a forum on Capitol Hill and inform voters about its ideas.

The group hopes to provide a hub of information for lawmakers, voters and organizations about various policy proposals, including immigration, reproductive rights and others.

As a founder of the Freethought Caucus on Capitol Hill, Huffman said he has particularly been alarmed about a rise of Christian nationalism within GOP ranks and efforts to push more conservative theology into government.

“We were able to beat back some of the worst of this Christian nationalist agenda, this authoritarian agenda, in the first Trump presidency, because they didn’t really know what they were doing,” Huffman said. “The fact that they have been putting all of this forethought and research and planning into a second Trump presidency means we’ll be dealing with a much more formidable foe, if it comes to that this time around.”

Why Are U.K. Courts Still Forcing People to Be Vaccinated?

‘Tom’ was born with chromosomal abnormalities. He is non-verbal and has never achieved a mental age beyond 18 months, but with his mother’s love and care he has made it to 24 years old.

Physically, however, Tom is fit and survived Covid with a sniffle. Despite this, a Governmental health authority, an Integrated Care Board (ICB), has for two years continued to spend a small fortune on lawyers in the Court of Protection demanding, against his mother’s wishes that Tom be given the COVID-19 vaccine.

What is going on?

The Court of Protection is a creation of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, an Act made with the intention of giving a voice to the vulnerable. It is a court where life and death decisions of medical treatment can be made and it is inhabited by a select group of judges and lawyers appointed by the court to advocate on behalf of the vulnerable individual.

Something is awry. There is widespread concern that in this little known or understood court, decisions are reflecting the influence of politics and facilitating Government interference in the private lives of families where Government and courts should have no business.

The fundamental issue is that while the court declares it will give significant weight to parents’ views, it is of the immovable view that once a child reaches 18 he or she becomes an ‘adult’ and has a right to autonomous decision making. To facilitate that autonomy, the judge will decide what medical treatment should be given. This will be not just where grief or extreme distress may cloud rational decision making, but for all medical decisions disputed before the Court.

It is the court, however, that is irrational. When a mother has made every decision in her son’s life since birth, the gift of autonomy for his 18th birthday is a bizarre and cruel concept of pure fiction.

Tom’s appointed lawyers have submitted that the court’s September 2022 order, declaring it was in Tom’s best interests to be vaccinated ‘‘as soon as possible”, must still be complied with and his mother threatened with jail if she obstructs. They argue that treatment must be whatever is recommended in the Green Book, Government guidance for health professionals. And they do so despite a specialist in Tom’s condition warning of particular risks to him because of his chromosomal abnormality.

Your read that right. Tom’s court-appointed lawyers argue that the reasonable treatment decisions of his mother and the warning of a specialist report must be dismissed and take second place to Government guidance, that Tom must risk the COVID-19 vaccine. Because Covid. Because safe and effective.

That may be their view, but they can no better ascertain Tom’s wishes than anyone. Their job is to represent their client’s interests, not the court’s, not anyone else’s, and not to insist that warnings of immediate harm be dismissed.

Tom’s lawyers also back the learned judge’s out of hand rejection (and description as “regressive”) of any argument that the family should continue to make health decisions for Tom after he reaches 18. As was put rhetorically to Sarah’s barrister: “There is no power vested in a parent of an adult child to take decisions about them. Would you like your father to be taking decisions about you?” If being progressive means pretending the court can gift autonomy to Tom, then we are off to hell in a hand cart.

Despite such remarks, at the latest hearing it was some relief for Tom’s mother that the judge decided that “the Covid landscape has changed” and there was now time to examine the specialist’s report.

At Menendez trial, businessman recounts alleged bribe to senator

NEW YORK, June 11 (Reuters) - A New Jersey businessman testified this week at U.S. Senator Bob Menendez's corruption trial that the lawmaker claimed to have "saved" the insurance broker, who bought Menendez's wife a $60,000 Mercedes-Benz, from criminal probes.

Star prosecution witness Jose Uribe told jurors he bribed Menendez by buying a car for the senator's then-girlfriend Nadine in 2019. Uribe said Nadine Menendez, who married Bob Menendez in 2020, had previously assured him she would relay Uribe's concerns about two insurance fraud probes to the senator.

During dinner the following year at a New Jersey restaurant called Segovia, Uribe said Menendez told him he found the "right people to speak to" - without specifying who.

"He said, 'I saved your ass twice - not once, but twice'," Uribe testified on Monday.

Menendez, 70, a three-term Democratic Senator running for re-election this year as an independent, has pleaded not guilty to 16 criminal charges including bribery, fraud, acting as a foreign agent and obstruction.

The car purchase was among hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes - which also included cash, mortgage payments and gold bars - that federal prosecutors in Manhattan say Menendez and his wife accepted in exchange for political favors and aiding the governments of Egypt and Qatar.

Uribe pleaded guilty this year to fraud and bribery charges and is cooperating with prosecutors. He testified that he gave Nadine Menendez $15,000 in cash for her car down payment during a meeting in a restaurant parking lot in March 2019, and made monthly payments for the vehicle until the FBI asked him about them in 2022.

Earlier in the trial, Menendez's lawyers blamed his wife for concealing her financial dealings from him.

In a potential boost for his defense, Uribe testified that he never discussed the car payments directly with Menendez.

"I did not talk to Mr. Menendez about a bribe," Uribe said on Tuesday during cross-examination.

But under questioning from prosecutor Lara Pomerantz, Uribe said Nadine Menendez never asked him to keep the payments a secret from the senator, and said he had no reason to believe Bob Menendez did not know about them.

Uribe testified that he told Menendez the names of the people and companies close to him being investigated during a meeting in the senator's backyard on Sept. 5, 2019. He said Menendez wrote down the names on a sheet of paper brought to him by Nadine, whom he had summoned by ringing a bell and yelling, "mon amour" - French for "my love."

Nadine Menendez has pleaded not guilty. Her trial was postponed to July because she is being treated for breast cancer. Her husband's trial could last through June.

Four staff from Iowa college stabbed in China's Jilin City

China's foreign ministry says it appears to be a random incident which will not affect education programmes between the countries.

Four staff from a US university have been stabbed in a park in northeast China.

Video on social media showed blood-stained people lying on the ground and being put into ambulances.

Iowa politician Adam Zabner said his brother was among the victims and the group had been visiting a temple in Beishan Park, Jilin City.

"I spoke to David… he is recovering from his injuries and doing well. My family is incredibly grateful that David survived this attack," said Mr Zabner.

The group from Iowa's Cornell College were on a teaching exchange programme with Jilin's Beihua university.

Cornell's president, Jonathan Bran, said the four instructors were with a faculty member from the university when they were stabbed.

A wanted poster was released, but police later said a suspect aged 55 was detained the same day. The motive is unclear.

House Oversight chair pushes for sweeping DOJ probe after Hunter Biden guilty verdict

Republicans are conducting their own sprawling investigation into the Biden family.

House Oversight Chair James Comer is urging the Justice Department to launch a sweeping investigation into the Biden family in the wake of Hunter Biden being found guilty on three felony gun charges.

“Today’s verdict is a step toward accountability but until the Department of Justice investigates everyone involved in the Bidens’ corrupt influence peddling schemes that generated over $18 million in foreign payments to the Biden family, it will be clear department officials continue to cover for the Big Guy, Joe Biden,” Comer (R-Ky.) said in a statement after the verdict.

Comer’s symbolic DOJ nudge toward a broader Biden investigation comes as House Republicans are months into their own impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, which has largely focused on the business deals of Hunter Biden and other family members.

But they don’t have the votes to impeach Biden, with a swath of GOP members saying they haven’t found the sort of “smoking gun” that proves Joe Biden committed a crime or an impeachable offense.

Comer and other GOP chairs spearheading the inquiry made criminal referrals to the Justice Department earlier this month for Hunter Biden and Jim Biden, the president’s brother. The referrals are non-binding, meaning the DOJ doesn’t have to do anything with them. Republicans are hoping that if Trump wins in November, they can be revisited next year.

Congressional Democrats, plus legal representatives for Hunter and Jim Biden, quickly denounced the referrals, saying Republicans are rehashing already misconstrued closed-door testimony from the two men and were trying to find a landing place for an impeachment inquiry that has stalled.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, in a Washington Post op-ed before the verdict, offered an indirect rebuff of Comer’s accusation of a “cover,” arguing the department makes decisions based on facts rather than last names or party ID.

“The Justice Department makes decisions about criminal investigations based only on the facts and the law. We do not investigate people because of their last name, their political affiliation, the size of their bank account, where they come from or what they look like. We investigate and prosecute violations of federal law — nothing more, nothing less,” he wrote.

Trump plans to meet with House GOP on Thursday

The former president is also meeting with Senate Republicans this week, where he's expected to to talk about their "strategic governing agenda in 2025."

Former President Donald Trump is slated to meet with the House GOP conference Thursday, according to two Republicans with direct knowledge of the planning.

The presumptive GOP presidential nominee will address members just weeks ahead of the party’s convention at a Republican-only club on Capitol Hill. Trump has locked down support from most Republican House members.

The former president is expected to have other meetings with lawmakers this week, including with Senate Republicans. Senate GOP Conference Chair John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) said they plan to talk about their "strategic governing agenda in 2025."

His meeting with the full Republican conference is slated to take place 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning, though the location has yet to be announced.

It marks a critical moment for Speaker Mike Johnson, who has repeatedly leaned on his relationship with Trump to both weather attacks from his right flank and push through tough legislation in the GOP's narrow House majority. Trump defended the GOP leader against Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), when the Trump loyalist led efforts to boot Johnson from the speakership.

But Johnson is also facing some legislative squeezes on Trump's behalf, which the former president could push in his upcoming meetings. Greene has trumpeted one in particular for weeks: Defunding special counsel Jack Smith, who is leading investigations into both Trump's alleged mishandling of classified documents as well as his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Johnson initially dismissed defunding Smith in an interview with POLITICO Playbook — knowing many of his centrists are not on board — but he has appeared to warm to the idea as Trump has voiced his support.

And the speaker will get more face time with Trump days later at Mar-a-Lago, along with the chair of the House GOP campaign arm, Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.). The visit, first reported by Axios, comes as the party is bracing for a series of upcoming primary battles.

During a similar meeting in the past, Johnson and Hudson worked with Trump to figure out how to deal with a series of primary races, including withholding or providing endorsements as well as asking the former president to withhold attacks against those he believes have crossed him.

That meeting in March impacted races that could’ve fundamentally changed the makeup of the House, adding more hardliners that tend to cause more migraines for leadership if ultimately elected — or worse, cost them a winnable seat.
