Two Democratic lawmakers cast 10 proxy votes each on House floor in favor of $740B spending bill
There were 187 proxy letters filed ahead of the vote, according to the House clerk website.
One Democratic lawmaker, Virginia Rep. Don Beyer, cast 10 proxy votes on the House floor on Friday in favor of the Democrats' $740 billion climate and healthcare spending bill, the Inflation Reduction Act.
Democratic Rep. Lou Correa of California also cast 10 proxy votes on behalf of lawmakers. New York Democratic Rep. Jamaal Bowman cast seven proxy votes on the floor.
In total, 187 House members submitted proxy voting letters authorizing other lawmakers to vote on their behalf ahead of Friday's vote, according to the House clerk website. This total represented about 35% of the House.
Proxy voting was first put in place as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi extended it through Sept. 26. House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy has pledged to end the proxy voting system if the GOP wins back the majority in the House.
The CBO said on Thursday that it needed more time to fully score the current Senate-passed version of the bill, but the House held the vote, and it passed with 220 votes from Democrats. There were 207 Republicans who voted against it, and 4 did not cast a vote.
"Given the scope of the amendments to title I, Committee on Finance, CBO expects that it will be a few weeks before we can fully analyze and estimate those budgetary effects, at which point we will provide a complete cost estimate for the legislation," CBO Director Phillip Swagel wrote on Thursday in a letter to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), the chairman of the Senate Budget Committee.
Democratic leaders used budget reconciliation to avoid the legislative filibuster in the 50-50 Senate. The Senate-passed version of the bill was not altered in the House. It now goes to President Biden's desk to be signed into law.

You can find the full warrant elsewhere. I'm drawing info to a key point.
"Any documents with classified markings" is an incredibly broad net. And "any other containers/boxes found together" with them is also incredibly broad. That is how you define a fishing expedition, and is generally not how warrants are done. Reinhart should lose his seat on the bench for this political hit job.
It also doesn't make allowances for documents that have been declassified. Those would still have "classification markings" on them.
The judge and the FBI can play the game here of saying "well gee, our agents on the ground could not be expected to know which docs were legally declassified… so for national security we HAD to err on the side of grabbing everything with classification markings".
Such reasoning will not stand up to higher judicial review.

IRS Criminal Investigation special agents can be seen in the 2021 annual report of the Internal Revenue Service conducting a variety of deadly force exercises. The agents are trained to shoot and kill you over your government taxes. The training exercises include building entry, the use of weapons, and others.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the IRS is looking for new agents — including armed and fit federal tax agents who are “willing to use deadly force” according to the job posting.
The duties also include “willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.”
The job is open to US citizens, nationals or those who owe allegiance to the US.
Major Duties
Adhere to the highest standards of conduct, especially in maintaining honesty and integrity.
Work a minimum of 50 hours per week, which may include irregular hours, and be on-call 24/7, including holidays and weekends.
Maintain a level of fitness necessary to effectively respond to life-threatening situations on the job.
Carry a firearm and be willing to use deadly force, if necessary.
Be willing and able to participate in arrests, execution of search warrants, and other dangerous assignments.
There are 300 openings nationwide, as listed on USAJobs.gov. The expected salary is $50,704 – $89,636 per year.
On Thursday, Valiant News published another expose, this one about an internal report from the IRS that allegedly showed agents practicing an assault on a suburban home while heavily armed.
From the 2021 IRS Annual Report:
IRS:CI SPECIAL AGENTS are among the most highly trained financial investigators in the world. They begin their training at the National Criminal Investigation Training Academy (NCITA). NCITA is located at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, Georgia.
New special agents complete six months of training, which begins with an 11-week Criminal Investigator Training Program (CITP) run by FLETC. CITP covers topics common to all federal law enforcement agents, including basic criminal investigation skills, federal criminal law, courtroom procedures, enforcement operations, interviewing skills, and firearms training.
Following CITP, new special agent trainees take a 14-week NCITA Special Agent Investigative Techniques (SAIT) course. The SAIT program trains new agents in tax law, evidence gathering, interviewing, report writing, methods of proving unreported income, and money laundering violations. NAKED SUSPECT IN ARMED ROBBERY ATTEMPT ARRESTED AT DELAND GAS STATION
A naked suspect who threw a machete at a surveyor and tried to rob him of his clothes was taken into custody at a DeLand gas station on Monday after approaching several passing vehicles.
Deputies responded to an area across from the Volusia County Fairgrounds shortly before 10 a.m. Monday after the surveyor reported a naked man approached him while carrying a large machete-style knife.
The victim said the suspect was picking palmetto berries in the woods, but eventually came running out of the brush brandishing the machete and demanding his clothes, wallet and phone.
As the victim began to comply with the demands, he said the suspect hurled the machete at him along with a handful of palmetto berries. The handle of the machete bounced off the victim’s chest, and he wasn’t injured.
The suspect took off into the brush and got into a white Dodge Challenger. Meanwhile, a responding deputy recognized the circumstances and suspect description were similar to an August 2021 call involving Brandon Wright running around naked in the same area.
Minutes later, Wright’s vehicle passed a license plate reader in the DeLand area, and soon after that it was reported that a naked man was outside a gas station at 899 S. Spring Garden Ave., DeLand.
Air One spotted Wright from overhead and gave updates on his location until DeLand police officers arrived on scene. Wright laid down in the parking lot for the officers and was taken into custody without incident.
Wright (DOB 11/23/1987) was charged with attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail, where he was in custody without bond as of this writing. His prior convictions include kidnapping/false imprisonment (2009), possession of cocaine (2013 and 2018), possession of a firearm/ammunition by a convicted felon and battery on a law enforcement officer (2018) and resisting an officer without violence (2021).

US National Archives Refutes Trump's Claims That Obama Took Classified Docs With Him
The FBI conducted an unprecedented search of Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, earlier this week. Although it is yet unclear what the FBI was searching for, reports have connected the search warrant to the National Archives' request to look into whether Trump breached the law by taking sensitive documents with him earlier.
The US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) released a statement on Friday in an effort to refute claims regarding former President Barack Obama's presidential records after former President Donald Trump and his supporters in conservative circles claimed that his predecessor was able to take large numbers of documents with him after he left office.
"NARA moved approximately 30 million pages of unclassified records to a NARA facility in the Chicago area where they are maintained exclusively by NARA," the archives said in a statement. "Additionally, NARA maintains the classified Obama Presidential records in a NARA facility in the Washington, DC, area. As required by the [Presidential Records Act] PRA, former President Obama has no control over where and how NARA stores the Presidential records of his Administration."
Following the Monday raid, Trump and some conservative commentators questioned Obama's alleged decision to move White House records to Chicago, Illinois, for his presidential library.
"What happened to the 30 million pages of documents taken from the White House to Chicago by Barack Hussein Obama? He refused to give them back!" Trump wrote in a Thursday post on his Truth Social platform. "What is going on? This act was strongly at odds with NARA. Will they be breaking into Obama's 'mansion' in Martha's Vineyard?"
In addition, the former president's son, Donald Trump Jr., allegedly cited the op-ed in the New York Post as justification for the claims.
Obama's papers, numbering in the tens of thousands, were indeed shipped to Chicago. However, as NARA pointed out, these materials were delivered to a federal government institution, as is the custom with presidential records.
Since all of these items are actually the property of the American people, federal law mandates that presidents and their administrations maintain a thorough archive of communications, papers, and even gifts from their time in office.
Obama's papers were legally transferred to the National Archives, which then started the laborious process of going through them before the public could request them years later. Some of this information would then be provided to Obama's presidential library, as required by law.
Aside from the drawn-out procedures, Obama's presidential library will deviate from tradition in that the Obama Foundation will pay for the digitization of the unclassified records in an effort to democratize access to them. This will be the "first digital archives for the first digital president," according to The New York Times.
However, five years after the conclusion of Obama's presidency and the start of the record transfer, the items from the records transferred to his presidential library still have reportedly not been digitized and made publicly accessible.
Though the delay has aroused some ire from historians and critics, the actual transfer of the records, let alone the labor of digitizing over 30 million papers to be made available online, frequently takes years, Business Insider claimed in a report.

Prominent economists from the US and elsewhere have called on Washington to return frozen central bank funds to Afghanistan
Washington should release the assets of the Afghan Central Bank it froze last year after the Taliban takeover and return them to the Afghan people, a group of more than 70 renowned economists said in an open letter on Wednesday.
The economists and academics from the US, the UK, India, France, Canada, Australia, and Brazil said they were “deeply concerned” by the “economic and humanitarian catastrophes unfolding in Afghanistan” and the role America played in “driving them.”
After the Taliban takeover in August 2021, the US blocked $7 billion in the Afghan Central Bank’s foreign exchange reserves stored at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Another $2 billion were frozen by the UK, Germany, the UAE and some other nations.
The frozen assets are “critical” to the functioning of the Afghan economy, including the facilitation of food and oil imports, on which the nation heavily relies, the open letter addressing President Joe Biden and US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said.
Now, around half of the Afghan population faces “acute food insecurity,” the economists warned, adding that, although there are several factors that led to the dire economic situation in Afghanistan, the asset freeze by the US and its allies “in particular has contributed mightily to Afghanistan’s economic collapse.”
The economists and academics, including the 2001 Nobel economics prize winner, Joseph Stiglitz, and the former Greek finance minister, Yanis Varoufakis, denounced the freeze as a “coercive measure” that prevents the Afghan Central Bank (DAB) from carrying out “its normal, essential functions.”
The letter also cited an assessment by the International Rescue Committee – a global humanitarian relief association founded at the request of Albert Einstein – which warned that “the current humanitarian crisis could lead to more deaths than twenty years of war.”
The signatories to the letter also criticized Biden’s decision to use half of the sum frozen by Washington – $3.5 billion – as compensation to the American victims of Taliban terrorism, including 9/11.
By all rights, the full $7 billion belong to the Afghan people. The decision to divide these funds in two is arbitrary and unjustified, and returning anything less than the full amount undermines the recovery of a devastated economy.
The economists condemned the Taliban government over some “horrific things” it committed, including its “appalling treatment of women and girls, and ethnic minorities,” but argued that it is “both morally condemnable and politically and economically reckless to impose collective punishment on an entire people.”
Washington has so far not responded to the appeal. For about a year since the Taliban takeover, Washington has been refusing to recognize the new government or return the frozen funds. In July, Biden also revoked Afghanistan’s status as a ‘Major Non-NATO Ally’.
In February, when Biden signed an executive order promising $3.5 billion to compensate the American victims of Taliban terrorism, the Taliban blasted the move as “theft” and warned that it would “reconsider” its policy toward Washington if it goes on with its plan.

By the time of the April 27th, 1995 preliminary hearing, the primary suspect — Timothy McVeigh — was in custody. The preliminary hearing’s purpose was to show probable cause and a reasonable basis for proceeding in case no. CR-95–98, the United States of America vs. Timothy James McVeigh. Leading the charge in the government’s case at the preliminary hearing was Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General Merrick Garland, a top aid to Deputy Attorney General Jamie Gorelick. Garland’s chief witness was FBI Special Agent Jon Hersley, who would go on to give testimony that would serve to confirm that the FBI had in its possession multiple surveillance camera recordings.
The first reports concerning surveillance camera footage of the bombing aired on CNN within days of the attack. One early CNN report stated that “the FBI says that it has some surveillance camera video of the bomb site” which was then followed by a clip of FBI on-scene-commander Weldon Kennedy urging all businesses in the area to come forward to provide their security camera recordings, which they did do. Summarily, later that same week, CNN further reported that “the FBI says that it has obtained videotapes from security cameras in the vicinity of the blast and may have tape of the Ryder rental truck used to house the enormous bomb.”
Note that in CNN’s second broadcast about the tapes, CNN reported that the FBI had “videotapes,” plural, and “security cameras,” plural, implying that more than one recording had been obtained. This is confirmed by FBI investigatory records, court transcripts, and even testimony under oath by an FBI agent assigned to the case. Indeed, just eight days after the bombing, a preliminary hearing held in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma shed considerable light on the FBI’s evidence in the case, to include both witnesses and surveillance recordings.

Sir Salman Rushdie was undergoing emergency surgery last night and will 'likely lose an eye' after being stabbed in the neck on stage in America.
The celebrated author, who has faced Islamist death threats for three decades after writing The Satanic Verses, was knifed by an attacker who came out of the audience as he was about to give a lecture in western New York state.
Rushdie was rushed to a ventilator with severed nerves in one arm and damage to his liver and the outlook grim for one of his eyes, according to his agent.
'The news is not good,' agent Andrew Wylie said in a written statement. 'Salman will likely lose one eye; the nerves in his arm were severed; and his liver was stabbed and damaged.'
Witnesses saw the alleged knifeman, named last night as Hadi Matar, 24, from New Jersey, strike 'ten to 15 times' in a matter of seconds before Rushdie, 75, fell to the floor covered in blood.
The attacker, clad in black and wearing a black mask, stormed the stage at the Chautauqua Institution as the writer was being introduced to a cultural festival before giving a speech about artistic free expression.
Hundreds of people in the audience gasped and blood spatter could be seen on the stage and surrounding furniture. The Booker Prize-winning author was surrounded by staff and audience members, some of them holding up his legs in an apparent effort to send more blood to his chest.
Security guards and audience members pinned down the attacker on stage as the audience was asked to quietly leave the amphitheatre after the horrific incident at 11am local time.
A New York state trooper arrested the suspect and he was taken away by police. Officials would not speculate on the motive.

A December 1995 report published by Media Bypass magazine described the attempted sale and added additional details from FBI sources familiar with the investigation. The FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) opened an investigation into the matter. The inquiry would seek to document the “chain of custody” for the FBI’s seized surveillance footage, identify agents with access, and identify the agent who attempted to make the sale. The Media Bypass report indicated that it was determined a Los Angeles FBI agent who possessed the footage was not assigned to the FBI’s OKBOMB case and was therefore not authorized to possess the footage. An FBI source who spoke to Media Bypass said that the agent attempting to profit from the tragedy “apparently obtained a copy of the video from a fellow agent in Oklahoma City.”
A Texas-based FBI agent familiar with the investigation told Media Bypass that an FBI agent based out of Oklahoma City was under investigation after allegedly running “off at least 12 copies of the videotape for friends and co-workers.” The agent said that “there may be dozens, if not hundreds of these surveillance videos now in circulation” and that “everyone is waiting for (the footage) to show up on ‘A Current Affair’ or ‘Hard Copy.’”
The Media Bypass feature on the attempted sale quotes an Oklahoma private investigator, Robert Jerlow, whose attorney, Randy Shadid, represented the agent trying to sell the tape. Jerlow told Media Bypass that the FBI agent screened the surveillance tape for Dateline at an Orange County deputy sheriff’s home in October of 1995. An FBI document from the investigation of the attempted sale seemingly confirms this, stating that “Dateline was able to view the videotape at the home of an Orange County Deputy Sheriff.” The 19-minute VHS tape was composed of video sourced from multiple surveillance cameras–”shot from several angles” by cameras mounted on buildings along 5th Street. The tape includes footage showing the truck pulling up to the Murrah building a couple of minutes before 9:00 A.M. and concludes with footage that shows the “actual initial detonation of the truck bomb.”
Ultimately, the sale of the surveillance footage to Dateline NBC never occurred, and no word on what happened to the FBI agent attempting to make the deal has emerged. However, it’s incredibly likely that the FBI pinpointed the agent who tried to sell the footage; the Media Bypass report and FBI documents from the investigation provide enough personal information about the L.A. based agent to identify him.

However, the possibility remains that at least one person out there may still have a copy today.

Conclusions
The FBI’s release of incomplete footage and their assertion that footage depicting the bombing doesn’t exist is simply not credible in light of the known facts concerning the surveillance tapes. FBI agent Jon Hersley testified about two different recordings that produced still images of the Ryder truck and McVeigh’s Mercury Marquis during the April 27th, 1995 preliminary hearing. Reports published in the L.A. Times and by the Associated Press in October of 1995 indicate that surveillance footage exists, which shows a Ryder truck with two people in the truck. A Secret Service timeline states with an incredible degree of specificity that footage exists showing the Ryder truck park in front of the Murrah building. FBI agent Danny Coulson’s statements support this, with him having said, “we had a videotape of the truck being pulled up at a couple of minutes toward nine.” FBI agent Pamela Matson denoted at least two tapes being “positive” in terms of evidentiary value in her review of seized surveillance recordings.
All of this indicates that these tapes exist, but there is something on the tapes that the FBI doesn’t want people to see. The question then arises, “What do the tapes show? Why is the FBI seeking to suppress this surveillance footage?”
The only conclusion is that the surveillance footage shows McVeigh was not alone the morning of the bombing — thus introducing the notion that others were involved who were never apprehended. That conclusion is reasonable, based at least in part on what the witnesses in downtown Oklahoma City saw that morning. FBI agent Danny Coulson told the BBC in 2007 that “we know there were 24 people that were interviewed by the FBI that said they saw Mr. McVeigh on April 19th with someone else.” … “They told the agents what they saw, and the agents wrote it down. If only one person had seen that, or two or three…but twenty-four? Twenty-four people say, yes, I saw him [McVeigh] with somebody else? That’s pretty powerful.”’

We reported on bombshell footage revealing the identities of the employees who deleted elections files.
How can we trust the unscrupulous election employees counting our votes with these shady machines?
We recently reported on testimony from an Arizona IT expert, which revealed these machines could be hacked in minutes and have wireless internet capabilities.
The federal Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) also released a report on Dominion Voting Machines, confirming these massive vulnerabilities and potential for hacking exist.
Disregarding all evidence presented by these reports, the County continues, “This improper use of the courts is unacceptable, detrimental to the entire election process, subjects election officials and workers to threatening and harassing conduct, and violates Rule 11. Accordingly, this court should issue sanctions against Plaintiffs and their counsel to deter future filings of similarly frivolous lawsuits.”
KTAR reported,
The motion, filed July 18 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, says an April 22 suit that asks a federal judge to bar the use of tabulation equipment in the 2022 elections is “demonstrably false.”

Following a report outlining Southern Baptist Convention leaders' failures in addressing widespread clergy sexual abuse, the SBC is now under investigation by the Department of Justice.
Federal investigators are looking at the denomination and several of its affiliated agencies, the SBC confirmed Friday. "Individually and collectively each SBC entity is resolved to fully and completely cooperate with the investigation," an SBC statement said.

Consider this: if the surveillance footage had shown Timothy McVeigh, alone, it probably would have aired on every news network across the country. The fact that this footage has never seen the light of day, despite having been documented at length, raises serious questions about the bombing. It’s time to release the tapes — in full, without redaction. Judging by the FBI’s past actions relating to these tapes, that is unlikely to occur.
Perhaps one day, someone out there who still has a copy of the footage will come forward and settle the case once and for all. However, even if that were to occur, it would be unlikely to settle the case with any level of certainty. With DeepFake technology and the increasing sophistication of CGI, there remains the possibility that any footage released today could be of unknown provenance; that is to say, any copy produced by authorities today could have been subject to material alteration.
If the footage is produced at this late date that is alleged to show the bombing (in full and without redaction), what appears would necessarily need to match what’s documented. What appears on the footage would need to match what the Secret Service timeline and news reports produced in 1995 say: a Ryder truck comes to a stop in front of the Murrah Building, and two men step out of the truck. Three minutes and six seconds after the suspects exit the truck, the truck bomb detonates. Should a tape miraculously appear and show something other than this, critics will rightly point out that what appears on the newly-produced footage doesn’t match what the evidence says is on the tapes. Ultimately, there exists so much evidence concerning these surveillance tapes that experts know what to expect should footage be released, and we also know what would not appear on genuine, unaltered footage: McVeigh, alone.
