Real estate costs are not counted in the federal government’s consumer price index although the Canadian Real Estate Association reported Monday that the cost of owning a home in 2021 was 26% more expensive compared to 2020.

The concerned citizen highlighted risks to female fertility, the abnormally high amount of severe reactions and death when compared to other vaccines, and the fact that the long-term effects are not known as the vaccines are still in trial and an experimental product.

OTTAWA—The federal government says it is being forced to retire one of the country’s most important science vessels, even as work on its replacement has hit yet another snag.

The Canadian Coast Guard announced this afternoon that age has finally caught up to the 59-year-old CCGS Hudson, and the science vessel is being decommissioned.

The difficult decision came after one of the ship’s motors broke last November and officials determined it was too expensive to both repair it and upgrade other outdated parts of the vessel to meet new regulations.

The Quebec government has announced it is going to implement the vaccine passport system at previously exempt big-box retail stores, including Walmart and Costco, where many families shop.

Furthering the discrimination against the unvaccinated, Quebec’s premier Francois Legault has announced that big-box retail stores will be obligated to bar the unvaccinated from entering starting January 24. The measure comes around the same time Legault said that he is going to start taxing those who remain unvaccinated, as well as adding a third dose requirement to the province’s digital vaccine passport system.

WINNIPEG—Mounties in Manitoba say they have found the bodies of four people—including an infant and a teen—near the United States border.

They say the four died from exposure during a blizzard and freezing temperatures.

RCMP say American authorities first notified them about a group that had crossed into the U.S. from near Emerson, Man., and they had items with them for an infant but no baby.

Mounties went searching yesterday and located the body of a man, woman and infant.

They also found a teen’s body nearby.

RCMP are telling people not to attempt to cross the border in either direction because it can be deadly.

The MPs were reacting to a Jan. 18 Globe and Mail report which said the previous Conservative government under Stephen Harper did very little business with McKinsey, but after the Liberals took power in 2015 the firm increasingly received multi-million dollar contracts.

The NDP and the Bloc Québécois voiced their support of the Conservative initiative, according to the Globe report.

An Ontario judge has issued a gag order forbidding a father from criticizing the federal vaccination program within earshot of his 10-year-old son, Blacklock’s Reporter shares. Anything that “calls into question the safety or efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine” is not allowed, the Ontario Superior Court ruled.

“I find [the boy] is receiving mixed messages about the risks and benefits of the COVID-19 vaccine and that at 10 years of age he is unable to make an informed choice,” wrote Justice Francine Van Melle. The Court granted the urgent motion requested by the boy’s mother.

According to court records, the couple divorced in 2013. The mother, a teacher, wanted the boy to get the shot since “she is worried about sending the child back to school for in-person learning next week without him being vaccinated,” the Court was told.

Justice Van Melle noted the father complained “the government was forcing people to be vaccinated against COVID,” that “there is no benefit to children to receive the COVID vaccine” and that he wanted to “wait until further evidence is available regarding the safety of the vaccine.”

Justice Van Melle ruled that the mother could vaccinate her son, and went further in issuing a gag order prohibiting the father from questioning the government's vaccine program with his son. “He is not to tell or suggest to [the boy] directly or indirectly that COVID-19 vaccines are untested, unsafe or ineffective or that he is particularly at risk from them,” wrote Van Melle. Derek Christensen and his wife were at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre before they were detained and later handcuffed, according to an immediate family member.

A pregnant woman and her husband were detained by police in Nanaimo, British Columbia recently for failing to comply with B.C.'s “Limitation Order #2”, but more generically the infractions mentioned by police appeared to be for failing to wear a mask, provide identification and not having a vaccine passport.

Derek Christensen and his wife were at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre before they were detained and later handcuffed, according to an immediate family member.

“They cuffed both of them, put them in separate cars, then took them to a garage and questioned them for a hour or so,” the family member explained.

Christensen's wife, who was wearing a towel at the time, was physically denied by police from entering the change room before later lecturing the couple:

“This could all end if you provide your identification,” the policewoman remarked.

The officer continued, perhaps incorrectly, “This is a facility that can institute whatever restrictions they want to… if you choose not to wear a mask, you choose not to swim here.”

The Surrey Peace Arch Hospital has closed its maternity ward indefinitely to pregnant mothers after citing a staffing shortage.

BC Liberal MLA Trevor Halford said on Thursday that the situation was entirely avoidable.

In a statement put out by the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, Canadian companies are urged to be vigilant and to watch out for cyber attacks.

“The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security encourages the Canadian cybersecurity community — especially critical infrastructure network defenders — to bolster their awareness of and protection against Russian state-sponsored cyber threats,” the agency wrote in a statement.

This comes as Western nations prepare to respond to Russia amassing thousands of troops and military equipment at its eastern border with Ukraine.

Claiming it to be a violation of the Ontario Human Rights Code, officials at the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) have decided not to post the video of a controversial public meeting where a long-serving teacher was cut off for questioning the value of two highly sexualized children’s books in school libraries.

WRDSB board chair Scott Piatkowski tweeted Thursday night that the customary YouTube video of Monday night’s public meeting had not been posted, as the Board is “concerned about potential violations” to the Human Rights Code and the “harm” that could befall students, staff and communities in Waterloo Region.

Piatkowski had previously tweeted that the video should be posted, but with a “trigger warning.”

Reports indicate that the teacher who spoke to the board, Carolyn Burjoski, has been given a “stay-at-home” order and told not to communicate with anyone. An outside investigator has also been appointed to review what she said.

Federal health agencies haven’t recognized ivermectin as an effective treatment for COVID-19 patients. According to Doctor Leland Stillman, the reason is more political than scientific, because otherwise there would be no basis for lockdowns or vaccine mandates.

“If ivermectin were recognized by the public health and academic establishment as the drug that it is, that treats acute viral illnesses, one of which is COVID-19, the entire justification for lockdowns, mandates, let alone vaccine research and development would evaporate overnight,” Stillman told The Epoch Times in a recent interview.

OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) – Canada’s top bank has a running list of media firms it deems as enemies and has barred those outlets from asking questions regarding national financial matters.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, Paul Badertscher, the person in charge of communications for Bank of Canada Governor Tiff Macklem, said that certain media outlets, which included Blacklock’s Reporter, were barred from asking any bank employees questions.

“There’s a couple here who I absolutely — I’ll check the list to make sure he’s not listening — absolutely not keen to give questions to,” Badertscher said last Friday during a routine bank media videoconference, not aware there was an open microphone.

Badertscher continued, saying he does not want to “be in a situation where we are allowing Blacklock’s to be asking us.”

However, reporters deemed to be from friendly media outlets, such as the CBC and Bloomberg, were allowed to call upon the bank employees as they wished, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

Blacklock’s Reporter had dialed into the videoconference and recorded the meeting. Despite being barred from asking questions, Blacklock’s Reporter is an accredited member of the Canadian Parliamentary Press Gallery.

Safety Board tight-lipped about two pilots’ in-flight health emergencies

The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) is citing privacy concerns and regulations after refusing to provide details concerning two WestJet pilots, one who collapsed in-flight and another who ended up hospitalized.

The two incidents occurred on separate flights.

On Dec. 6, 2021, a pilot flying from Calgary to Atlanta on WestJet flight 1590 had a health emergency and collapsed as passengers with medical training were in attendance. The flight was forced to turn around with a replacement pilot over southeastern Alberta and land at the Calgary International Airport where EMS crews were present.

An Air Traffic Control (ATC) recording obtained by True North reveals that a query was made by the flight to “confirm that EMS is standing by” and that their “patient just got worse.” A defibrillator was also mentioned in local reports.

“WestJet 1590 medevac just confirmed that tower paramedics are all waiting at the gate. You should be good to go,” Calgary ATC responded.

Upon landing, although EMS crews made contact with the flight around 1:25 p.m., paramedics did not see the patient and summarily left the scene.

Several weeks later on Dec. 27, 2021 another pilot became incapacitated on WestJet flight 656 travelling from Calgary to Toronto and was forced to land in Winnipeg. According to ATC records, the flight’s first officer suddenly became ill and could no longer perform normal flight duties, needing to be replaced by another captain on board. Continue…

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) has learned that more than half a million federal and provincial government workers received pay raises during the COVID-19 pandemic while not a single government reduced employees’ pay.

“We’re not all in this together,” said CTF federal director Franco Terrazzano in a press release on Monday. “We’ve seen a tale of two pandemics: One full of private sector pain and the other full of financial gain for bureaucrats and politicians.”

Freedom of information requests obtained by the CTF shows that 528,347 federal and provincial government employees received pay raises during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.

No provincial or federal government reduced pay for their employees in the same time period.

Members of Parliament have given themselves two pay raises during the pandemic, ranging from $6,900 for backbenchers to $13,800 for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Danville, PA – Michelle Fallon is living a nightmare. And, she’s ready to put that nightmare on record.

The Danville woman is now experiencing symptoms, believed to be related to her close encounter with wild monkeys, when the trailer they were riding in collided with a dump truck and unloaded their cages all over Route 54, close to I-80, on Friday afternoon. (The monkeys were destined for an unidentified Centers for Disease Control lab, in the Midwest.)

The following day, Fallon developed a cough and something that resembled “pink-eye.” And, by Sunday, she was visiting the Geisinger Medical Center emergency room, where infectious disease doctors were consulted. Fallon has since received her first (of 4) preventative rabies shots; as well as a prescription for a 14-day course of Valacyclovir.

He was Chairman of the Specialized Committee on Communicable Diseases of the High Council of Public Health. Confirming the rapidly deteriorating situation in Israel and the UK, the infectious disease expert stated:

"Vaccinated people should be put in quarantine, and should be isolated from the society."

He went on to say: "Unvaccinated people are not dangerous; vaccinated people are dangerous for others. It's proven in Israel now - I'm in contact with many physicians in Israel - they're having big problems, severe cases in the hospitals are among vaccinated people, and in UK also, you have the larger vaccination program and also there are problems."

Israeli doctor Kobi Haviv told Channel 13 News: "95 percent of seriously ill patients are vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people account for 85-90 percent of hospitalizations. We are opening more and more COVID branches. The effectiveness of vaccines is declining or disappearing."

The Vancouver Police Board upheld its decision to allow unvaccinated workers to keep their jobs so long as they agree to frequent self-paid testing.

The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) on Thursday made the determination that it would continue its policy to “accommodate” unvaccinated employees by allowing them to opt for testing rather than forcing them to take the experimental jab or be terminated. The review of the policy came after three citizens wrote to the VPD to express their “disappointment” with the board for not making vaccination against COVID-19 outright compulsory as a condition of employment.

While the move to “accommodate” the unvaccinated is less harsh than mandates imposed by many other police forces in Canada, such as the Ontario Provincial Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the VPD did clarify that employees must test “on their own time and at their own cost,” and the accommodation only applies to those already employed by the VPD.
