If the objective is total control, which I believe it is, then the narrative makes more sense that the gene-therapy will save people from a coming release of a pathogen that will kill all those that have not had the gene-therapy.

The national plan states that in the second phase, when vaccination rates reach 70% in the population aged 16 and above, lockdowns will be “less likely”. In the third phase, with vaccination rates of 80%, leaders would only ever pursue “highly targeted lockdowns” and vaccinated Australians should be able to travel interstate.

And that is what Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s keeps on saying every day and why she is pushing vaccinations, but she deliberately ignores other key facts in the Doherty Report, that other Premiers aren’t missing, which makes likely easing of restrictions anytime soon in NSW very unlikely:

Most of those jurisdictions used national cabinet on Friday to push for Doherty Institute modelling to be recalculated, after publicly warned that the modelling underpinning the targets was based on low Covid-19 community transmission, not an uncontrolled spread of hundreds of cases a day as is occurring in greater Sydney. For years, Imperiale has been known as the "Van Gough Boss" after police discovered several stolen works by the Dutch master in one of his homes.

Raffaele Imperiale, who Italian police said was "a leading exponent of international drug trafficking and money laundering," was arrested in Dubai on August 4. The arrest was only confirmed by Italian authorities this week, and Imperiale is being held in the United Arab Emirates before being extradited to Italy. Imperiale, 46, who had strong ties with powerful families of the Neapolitan Camorra, rose to fame after police found two paintings by Vincent van Gogh, which had been stolen from an Amsterdam museum in 2002, in a house that he owned near Naples.

The paintings the police discovered in Imperiale’s villa in the small town of Castellammare di Stabia were "Beach at Scheveningen in Stormy Weather," painted in 1882, and "Congregation Leaving the Reformed Church in Nuenen," painted in 1885. The Italian police said the recovered paintings had "inestimable value."

As the FT reports, while Italy’s best known organized criminal group remains the Sicilian Cosa Nostra - aka the original Mafia, the mafia's power has waned significantly over the past two decades due largely to law enforcement focusing on the organization. Around 14,700 opponents of the measure again protested in Paris on Saturday. The figure came from the police, but the organizers have accused law enforcement of deliberately downplaying the attendance at previous events.

Demonstrators were beating drums, carrying banners with the word “Liberté” (liberty) and chanting: “Macron! We don’t want your pass!”

The protest, which united groups with right- and left-wing views, went off without any serious incidents.

‘Everything comes to an end’: Sweden’s PM announces 2nd resignation in 2 months

Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven will resign, again, following a tumultuous summer of political infighting in the Scandinavian country that ended in a no-confidence vote in his leadership.

He was narrowly reelected as prime minister by parliament on July 7 after the leaders of Sweden’s political factions failed to form a new government.
