Current users of the automatic-registration approach that have had past or recent issues with noncitizen registrations include New Jersey, Oregon, Alaska, Illinois, California, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.

In 2024, more than 1,600 noncitizens were mistakenly registered to vote in Oregon; a technical and clerical error was to blame, officials said at the time.

During a two-year period ending in 2024, about 50 people in Alaska were registered to vote even though they stated they were not U.S. citizens, according to information that surfaced in a 2025 lawsuit.

In 2020, the Illinois automatic voter registration system mistakenly registered more than 547 noncitizens to vote. Those people correctly answered “no” to a citizenship attestation, but a “programming error” caused their data to be entered in the registration process, officials said.

In 2018, California officials announced 1,500 individuals might have been registered to vote in error during a six-month span. The issue was blamed on a “processing error” that registered legal resident noncitizens to vote.

And, in 2017, a Pennsylvania report showed about 200 noncitizens were able to legally register to vote because of a glitch in the state’s electronic driver’s licensing system.

The Epoch Times contacted all of the listed states for comment; only Illinois responded prior to publication time.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dropped a huge bombshell last night, days after former White House COVID advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci’s private thoughts during the COVID pandemic were revealed to the entire world: the wicked doctor hid a life-threatening complication after publicly taking the COVID shot.

The Gateway Pundit reported over the weekend that Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, recently released diary entries, Tony’s Diary Package, from Fauci that show a bizarre, yet characteristic, obsession with fame, even as the death toll from the pandemic grew.

In one entry, Fauci describes feeling “pretty safe” due to public adulation while cases surge.

On March 10, 2020, Fauci wrote, “For better or worse, I am becoming an international celebrity. Calls from all over the world.”

But the newly released diaries also reveal something even more disturbing: Fauci suffered a major vaccine injury months after taking the COVID shot, right after it was first made available!

RFK, Jr. told Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on Monday night that Fauci suffered what is called a pulmonary infarction. According to Verywell Health, a pulmonary infarction is a potentially life-threatening condition that occurs when one of the small blood vessels in the lungs gets blocked. This causes part of the lung tissue to die.

Immediate attention is required should either respiratory distress, a state of not getting enough oxygen to the body, or hemodynamic collapse, which is a sudden drop in blood flow, happens.

As RFK, Jr. notes, this is one of the side effects that can result from taking the COVID shot. Yet Fauci was so dedicated to locking down the world and his own fame that he covered up a possibly life-threatening complication.

RFK. JR: He got vaccinated very publicly at a press conference in (December) 2020. Then, five months later, he had a pulmonary infarction.

One of the adverse events NIH, CDC, and FDA are expected from the vaccine. He never told anybody.

He got treated for it, privately, by the best doctors in America, at the same time he was telling everybody it was not an adverse event.

The Atlantic is asking a judge to toss a lawsuit brought by FBI Director Kash Patel against the outlet over its reporting alleging excessive drinking and questioning his performance in the job.

The lawsuit, filed by Patel in April, alleges the magazine defamed him and relied on sources who were “not in a position to know the facts” and were part of an orchestrated smear campaign against him.

The Atlantic, in a statement on Monday, called Patel’s suit “meritless” and said it was asking the court to permit it to begin seeking factual discovery from the FBI and the Department of Justice — including documents and depositions of key individuals, which it called “appropriate given the allegations in this matter.”

If Director Patel did not want to face this process, he should not have filed this suit,” the outlet’s editor in chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, said. “These legal filings are consistent with the promise I made to our staff and to our readers in May: we will defend The Atlantic and its staff vigorously.”

“We will not be intimidated by acts of politically motivated retaliation; we will continue to cover the FBI professionally, fairly, and thoroughly; and we will continue to practice journalism in the public interest,” he said.

In his lawsuit, Patel claims The Atlantic and reporter Sarah Fitzpatrick published an article full of false and made-up claims about his drinking, unexplained absences from work, panic over potentially being fired, and other types of erratic behavior.

The FBI director called the report “a sweeping, malicious, and defamatory hit piece” that relied wholly on anonymous sources who have personal vendettas against him. The lawsuit alleges that The Atlantic ignored clear warnings from the FBI and his lawyers that the claims were totally false, and was deliberately designed to wreck his reputation and push him out of office. He is seeking $250 million in damages.

Fitzpatrick’s article claims that more than two dozen current and former officials described Patel’s drinking as a recurring problem that sparked concerns about his ability to carry out his duties. They claimed he often drinks to the point of obvious intoxication at the private club Ned’s in Washington, D.C., in front of White House staff, and at the Poodle Room in Las Vegas on weekends, sometimes causing early meetings and briefings to be postponed after his “alcohol-fueled nights.”

The report also claimed that on multiple occasions his security detail struggled to wake him because he seemed intoxicated, and that last year they even requested “breaching equipment” normally used by SWAT teams because he was unreachable behind locked doors.

The White House immediately denied the content of the report after it was published and Patel threatened to sue.

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced Tuesday that she will defy a Justice Department request for information about the identities of the 6,600 non-citizens who were erroneously registered to vote in the Garden State.

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who leads the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division, had demanded the names, dates of birth, addresses, nationalities and registration dates of the non-citizens on New Jersey’s voter-rolls – 400 of whom are believed to have cast ballots – on July 21 and gave the Democratic governor a five-day deadline to comply with the request.

“Today, I informed [Dhillon] that New Jersey will not provide the personal information of thousands of New Jersey residents,” Sherrill wrote on X. “The request had no legal basis, and I will always protect New Jerseyans’ personally identifiable information.”

Sherrill included a letter sent to the DOJ official where she explains the non-citizens were registered to vote “through no fault of their own” and that the state and local election officials were “working tirelessly … to rectify this error.”

Dhillon countered by arguing that Sherrill’s “refusal to cooperate with federal law enforcement does nothing to protect law-abiding NJ voters.”

“NJ has a legal duty to keep ineligible voters off its rolls, & our request is grounded in that legal authority,” the DOJ official wrote on X. “DOJ will get this information through all legal means!”

In her initial request for information, Dhillon said the DOJ would be investigating the matter as an “unlawful dilution of American votes.”

The DOJ also cited the debacle in its ongoing lawsuit against the Garden State seeking access to its voter roll data.

Last week, Sherrill blamed a “serious software error” in the state’s Motor Vehicle System involving French tech company IDEMIA for the mishap.

The software company, however, argues that the state’s department of elections is “ultimately responsible for verifying eligibility to vote.”

Suddenly Gabbard started making changes, big changes, like removing the National Intelligence Council from the CIA and simultaneously the DC system started shouting about reducing the office. It’s a little, well, ironic I guess, in a DC way.

According to X’s announcement, X Money enables users to conduct everyday financial transactions within the app as they would with a traditional bank account. The service supports wire transfers, check mailing, bill payments, and direct deposit for paychecks. Users can also send and receive money to anyone else on the X platform. The company claims that users can receive their paychecks up to two days early through direct deposit.

A key component of the service is the X Card, a physical Visa debit card that offers three percent cash back on eligible purchases and fee-free ATM withdrawals at locations worldwide. The card integrates with digital wallet services including Apple Pay and Google Pay, allowing users to make contactless payments.

The interest rates offered differ based on subscription tier. Premium+ subscribers immediately qualify for sixo percent Annual Percentage Yield on their deposit accounts, while X Premium subscribers can reach the same rate after meeting Qualifying Direct Deposit requirements.

Deposit accounts are held through X Money’s banking partner Cross River Bank, which is a Member FDIC institution. This means deposits are insured up to $250,000, providing the same federal protection as traditional bank accounts.

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope was assembled and tested at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.

Once that work was finished, Roman had to travel to NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida for its launch. The transport process was long, delicate, and painstaking.

Inside Goddard’s largest clean room, technicians moved Roman into a specially-built portable clean room called the CHARIOT (Conditioned Housing for Air, Road, Imaging optics assembly, and Observatory Transport).

They lifted Roman into the lower portion, and then put an inner lid over it and covered the protruding antenna dish. Then they lowered an outer cover onto it, with attachments for the air conditioning to keep Roman at a safe temperature.

Once in the CHARIOT, techs pushed Roman out of the clean room and attached an advanced wheel system to allow a semi truck to pull it. The system features independent driving at the back and the ability to raise and lower over or under obstacles.

Starting in the evening of June 12, a team of engineers, police, and utility workers spent 13 hours slowly driving Roman from Goddard to the port of Baltimore.

At 16 feet tall, the CHARIOT couldn’t fit under many highway overpasses, so the carefully planned route snaked its way on secondary roads, through Baltimore city, and around to the port, often traveling only two miles an hour.

At the port, the CHARIOT was loaded into NASA’s special transport barge, called Pegasus. The semi detached and drove back out, and the CHARIOT was carefully chained to the deck.

Over the next eight days, Pegasus was towed by a pair of tugboats from Baltimore down to Port Canaveral. Special new tugboats took over and pulled Pegasus up the Banana River to the Turn Basin at Kennedy.

With Pegasus secured to the dock, opened up, and the CHARIOT unchained from the deck, a semi pulled Roman out and onto dry land. Designed for this kind of transport, the Kennedy roads allowed faster, easier transport to the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility.

Once inside the airlock chamber, technicians removed the driving hardware and moved the CHARIOT on a cushion of pressurized air. They cleaned the CHARIOT, removed the outer lid, and pushed it into the inner clean room where the inner lid could come off.

Roman was lifted out of the CHARIOT and attached to a device that could tilt it vertical. Roman was now ready for the final stages of preparation for launch.

On July 29, America will celebrate the birth of the agency that transformed the impossible into the inevitable. For 68 years, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration has led the world in space exploration.

From the Mercury missions to Apollo and the space shuttle program to Artemis, NASA has always represented something larger than rockets and astronauts. It is a reminder that when America leads with courage, innovation and purpose, the world follows.

Today, that leadership is being tested once again.

A new space race is underway, and China has made no secret of its ambitions. Beijing is investing heavily in lunar exploration, advanced satellite networks and space technologies with both civilian and military applications.

The nation that establishes the rules, infrastructure and presence in space will shape the economic and security landscape for decades to come.

The United States cannot afford to watch from the sidelines.

That’s why we are proud to serve on the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology. Earlier this year, our committee advanced the NASA Reauthorization Act of 2026.

This legislation reaffirms our nation’s commitment to human space exploration and authorizes funding for both Artemis and the moon to Mars program.

For example, satellites provide critical telecommunications capabilities that allow U.S. forces to communicate securely across the globe in real time.

From GPS technology to space-based sensor systems, satellites are integral to military operations. Protecting our space infrastructure isn’t optional. The space race cannot be neck and neck; the United States must dominate.

History teaches us that American leadership has never been guaranteed. It has been earned through bold investment, scientific excellence and an unwavering belief that tomorrow belongs to those willing to build it.

That same spirit carried Neil Armstrong onto the moon and inspired generations of engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs and service members to push the boundaries of what was possible.

As we approach NASA’s birthday, we should celebrate not only our extraordinary achievements but also our responsibility to lead the next chapter. Space is no longer simply the final frontier.

It is the next frontier for national security, economic growth, technological innovation and American influence.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is launching a new initiative to streamline commercial space licensing, making it faster and easier for innovators to secure approvals to launch rockets, reenter spacecraft, and operate launch and reentry sites.

The move builds on President Trump's innovative "Enabling Competition in the Commercial Space Industry" Executive Order and advances a decades-old Congressional mandate to simplify and expedite commercial space licensing.

What we did: The FAA's proposed rule would allow the agency to waive unnecessary environmental laws and regulations that are slowing American innovation.

Requirements that are needed to protect public health and safety, property, national security, or U.S. foreign policy interests would not be impacted.

Why it’s important: During the past five years, the FAA authorized more commercial space operations than in the previous three decades — including a record 204 in Fiscal Year 2025.

The agency’s commercial space forecast projects up to 4,288 operations over the next decade, soaring from 214 this year to 507 in 2036.

Despite this progress, applicants face pointless, time-consuming requirements and expenses preparing environmental studies and providing information for overlapping reviews from multiple federal agencies. These duplicative processes create needless delays for near-term launch operations.

“America won the first Space Race, and we can do it again - but only if we get government red tape out of the way. That's why President Trump has charged USDOT with unlocking the final frontier and re-establishing the United States' dominance in space,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy. “Thanks to President Trump's leadership, we are supercharging commercial space activity, slashing costs, and strengthening America’s competitive edge in this vital field.”

“Commercial space activity is surging, and we must do everything safely possible to support this vital sector,” said FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford.

“The bottom line is clear: we will not keep pace with this rapid growth unless we streamline, modernize, and strengthen our regulatory approach.”

Additional Information:

The FAA’s proposed rule would allow the agency to waive requirements from 13 federal laws for certain commercial space licenses and permits.

These include NEPA, the Endangered Species Act, parts of the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, the National Historic Preservation Act, and several other environmental and natural resource laws.

The proposed rule notes that the U.S. Supreme Court in a unanimous 2025 ruling wrote that the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) “has transformed from a modest procedural requirement into a blunt and haphazard tool employed by project opponents ... (who may not always be entirely motivated by concern for the environment) to try to stop or at least slow down new infrastructure and construction projects.”

The proposed rule includes a 30-day public comment period. The FAA will thoroughly review all relevant comments before issuing a final rule.
