Explosive report claims a network of charities connected to George Soros funneled $40M to support Zohran Mamdani's political rise in tax-dodging scheme
Zohran Mamdani's campaign is facing explosive allegations that it benefited from tens of millions of dollars in donations funneled from George Soros-linked charities as part of an elaborate scheme that may have violated federal tax laws.
The 34-year-old State Assemblyman's team has always claimed that he rose from obscurity to become New York City's mayoral front-runner thanks to an organic, grassroots movement involving many small donations and hundreds of young people with backpacks canvassing on his behalf.
But the Daily Mail can reveal that that narrative is now being called into question according to a report from a watchdog website.
The findings, from conservative investigative site White Collar Fraud, alleged that a network of tax-exempt organizations connected to billionaire financier Soros shrewdly coordinated political and ground operations to support Mamdani in a scheme that involved laundering more than $40million in charitable donations through nonprofits and redirecting them into political activity.
Soros's group disputes the report's findings of improprieties, saying it is 'riddled with inaccuracies, false assumptions and misinformation'.
'The math isn’t the only thing that doesn’t add up,' a spokesman for the Open Society Foundation – that was founded by Soros and is now headed by his 40-year-old son Alex, told the Daily Mail.
'The grants it cited – many of which we were earmarked for specific projects and causes elsewhere around the country as we have disclosed – were made years before the mayoral race even began.'
But White Collar Fraud investigator Sam Antar told the Daily Mail Soros-affiliated entities may have violated federal tax laws. Antar has filed 11 whistleblower complaints with the Internal Revenue Service as a result of his investigation

A Request for NASA to Release Scientific Data on 3I/ATLAS
October 31, 2025
During my recent podcast interview with Joe Rogan (accessible here), I had mentioned the unfortunate circumstances, under which NASA had not released for four weeks the images collected by the HiRISE camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
These images were taken on October 2–3, 2025, when the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS passed within 30 million kilometers from Mars.
The images are extremely valuable scientifically because they possess a spatial resolution of 30 kilometers per pixel, about 3 times better than the spatial resolution achieved in the best publicly available image from the Hubble Space Telescope, taken on July 21, 2025 (accessible here and analyzed here).
Whereas the Hubble image was taken from an edge-on perspective since Earth and the Sun were separated by only ~10 degrees relative to distant 3I/ATLAS, the HiRISE image offers a sideways perspective, valuable in decoding the mass loss geometry and glow around as it approached the Sun.
The delay in the data release was argued to be the result of the government shutdown on October 1, 2025. Nevertheless, conspiracy theorists suggested that it may have to do with evidence for extraterrestrial intelligence in the HiRISE images.
When asked about it, I suggested that the delay is probably not a sign of extraterrestrial intelligence but rather of terrestrial stupidity. We should not hold science hostage to the shutdown politics of the day.
The scientific community would have greatly benefited from the dissemination of this time-sensitive data as astronomers plan follow-up observations in the coming months.
Joe Rogan suggested that I contact the interim NASA administrator, Sean Duffy. The following day, I corresponded with congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna regarding a related formal request from NASA.
Following our exchange, Representative Luna wrote a brilliant letter to NASA’s acting administrator Duffy. We all owe a debt of deep gratitude for the visionary support displayed by Representative Luna to frontier science through her letter, attached below.

[This is really the bottom line. Even Julie Kelly didn't address this point this morning on Bannon.]
Boasberg’s Senate Spying Gag Order Violated Federal Law
Oct 31, 2025 (excerpt)
Judge James Boasberg, the lawfare fanatic serving as the chief judge of the U.S. District Court for D.C., issued an order intended to conceal the Biden administration’s attempted seizure of Sen. Ted Cruz’s phone records. In doing so, it appears he likely violated federal law.
According to Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, as part of the Biden administration’s “Arctic Frost” inquiry dead set on targeting Republicans in battleground states, Special Counsel Jack Smith, who led the get-Trump lawfare for years, “secretly obtained phone record data from at least eight senators and one congressman.”
Smith also sought to obtain Cruz’s phone records from AT&T, which ultimately declined to hand over the records.
The Biden Department of Justice tried to seize Cruz’s “cell phone communications,” according to the senator, and Boasberg signed off on a “nondisclosure” gag order on AT&T that would have kept the telecommunications company from notifying Cruz of the seizure for at least a year. According to Boasberg’s order, obtained by Cruz, “The court finds reasonable grounds to believe that such disclosure will result in destruction of, or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation.”
There is “precisely zero evidence to conclude that I am likely to destroy or tamper with evidence or to intimidate potential witnesses,” Cruz said. “Zero evidentiary basis for that. This order is an abuse of power. This order is a weaponized legal system.”
But aside from the bogus basis for the gag order, Boasberg actually appears to have violated federal law in issuing the order in the first place.
“If this phone was an official phone (I suspect it was), then this was likely in violation of 2 U.S.C. 6628. If Smith or Boasberg violated that statute, it’s a very serious problem that probably justifies a bar investigation and could predicate an impeachment inquiry,” Mike Fragoso, fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, noted.
The law reads as follows:
Notwithstanding any other provision of law or rule of civil or criminal procedure, the Office of the SAA [Senate Sergeant at Arms], any officer, employee, or agent of the Office of the SAA, and any provider for a Senate office that is providing services to or used by a Senate office shall not be barred, through operation of any court order or any statutory provision, from notifying the Senate office of any legal process seeking disclosure of Senate data of the Senate office that is transmitted, processed, or stored (whether temporarily or otherwise) through the use of an electronic system established, maintained, or operated, or the use of electronic services provided, in whole or in part by the Office of the SAA, the officer, employee, or agent of the Office of the SAA, or the provider for a Senate office.
That law bans gag orders on the collection of Senate data and communications, and requires notice to the Senate to give it the opportunity to stop any subpoenas on separation of powers grounds. The statute also requires that courts stop those subpoenas if the Senate opposes them.

President Trump said on Friday that he's yet to make a final decision on launching a military attack on Venezuela, but President Nicolás Maduro is not waiting around while taking the US leader's word on it.
Maduro is reportedly urgently reaching out to Russia, China, and Iran for any possible military aid, including defense items which may have already been negotiated or are in the works. The Washington Post says it's obtained internal documents showing such recent and high-stakes requests.

Shenzhou-21 completes rapid docking with Tiangong space station 3.5 hours after launch
October 31, 2025
China’s latest crewed mission arrived at the Tiangong space station Friday, just 3.5 hours after launch from Jiuquan spaceport in the Gobi Desert.
Shenzhou-21, carrying commander Zhang Lu and crewmates Zhang Hongzhang and Wu Fei, docked at the forward port of the Tiangong space station’s Tianhe core module at 3:22 p.m. Eastern (1922 UTC) Oct. 31, according to the China Manned Space Engineering Office (CMSEO).
Zhang, a veteran of the 2022 Shenzhou-15 mission to Tiangong, and his crew will soon join the Shenzhou-20 astronauts already aboard Tiangong, beginning their roughly six-month-long stay aboard the space station.
Shenzhou-20 commander Chen Dong and crewmates Chen Zhongrui and Wang Jie have been aboard Tiangong since April 24. They are set to hand over control of the space station to the incoming crew in the coming days before returning to Earth Nov. 3.
The Shenzhou-21 mission will include a range of science experiments spanning space life sciences and biotechnology, technology tests, fluid physics in microgravity, space medicine, space material science and combustion.
It will also include reproduction-related experiments with four black mice which also flew to Tiangong aboard the Shenzhou-21 spacecraft. Extravehicular activities and educational and public outreach events will also be part of the crew’s tasks in orbit.
The Long March 2F carrying Shenzhou-21 lifted off at 11:44 a.m. Eastern (1544 UTC) from Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, northwest China. The three-stage hypergolic rocket climbed into the clear night sky above the spaceport before jettisoning its four side boosters.
Shenzhou-21 is the seventh three-person mission to arrive at Tiangong since the three-module outpost was completed in late 2022. There are currently two Shenzhou and one Tianzhou cargo spacecraft docked with Tiangong.
Pilot Zhang Lu was a crewmember on Shenzhou-15. Wu Fei, 32, is a flight engineer. He is the youngest member of China’s astronaut corps and previously worked at the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST).
Zhang Hongzhang is a payload specialist, having formerly worked as a new energy and new materials researcher at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
Tiangong space station is the realization of a program approved in 1992, seeing the development of human spaceflight capabilities, the launch of smaller testbed modules and the on-orbit construction of the space station using three Long March 5B launches across 2021-2022.
While China aims to keep Tiangong permanently occupied for at least a decade, CMSEO has also indicated it is preparing to expand the space station in the future with further modules, starting with a multi-functional expansion module with six docking ports.
While the Tiangong secures China’s presence in low Earth orbit, the country is simultaneously advancing toward its next major goal of a crewed lunar landing before 2030.
CMSEO provided an update on its crewed moon program progress in a pre-launch press conference a day ahead of the Shenzhou-21 flight.
A spokesperson stated that the main work of the prototype stage has been completed for key hardware for the mission, including the Long March 10 rocket, the Mengzhou crew spacecraft, Lanyue lunar lander, Wangyu lunar suit, and a crew lunar rover.
The first flight of the Mengzhou crew spacecraft and Long March 10 rocket, likely to low Earth orbit, is expected to take place sometime during 2026.

Satellite images show 'mesovortices' forming around the eye of deadly Hurricane Melissa
October 31, 2025
Hurricane Melissa's deadly spin is visible from space.
Satellite footage caught the hurricane in rotation on Tuesday (Oct. 28) as it wreaked destruction across the Caribbean. Imagery from the GOES-19 satellite shows "mesovortices" surrounding the hole, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Metavortices refer to "small-scale rotational features" around the eye of the storm; they form in circumstances of "extreme differences in wind speed and direction," Weather.com states.
Emergency authorities told the Associated Press that Melissa is one of the most powerful Atlantic Ocean hurricanes ever recorded. Human-driven climate change has caused an overall intensification of extreme weather, including hurricanes.
Melissa hit Jamaica on Oct. 28 as a Category 5 storm (the strongest type of storm) with winds of 185 miles per hour (295 kilometers per hour).
Desmond McKenzie, deputy chair of Jamaica's disaster risk management council, declined to share how many people have died, although authorities separately told AP at least four deaths occurred in southwest Jamaica. Roughly 72% of the island has no power and 65% of mobile phone sites are down.
In Haiti, AP added, at least 25 people were killed and 18 others missing following flooding. Cuba had no reported deaths after Melissa hit as a Category 3 on Wednesday (Oct. 29), but "many communities were still without electricity, Internet and telephone service because of downed transformers and power lines," AP stated.
As of Thursday (Oct. 30) morning, Melissa was classified as a Category 2 storm with top sustained winds nearing 105 mph (169 kph) and is situated roughly 515 miles (830 kilometers) southwest of Bermuda, which remains under hurricane warning at the time of AP's report.

SpaceX launches 100th Starlink mission of 2025
October 31, 2025
SpaceX launched its 100th Starlink mission of the year today (Oct. 31).
A Falcon 9 rocket carrying 28 of SpaceX's Starlink broadband satellites lifted off from California's Vandenberg Space Force Base today at 4:41 p.m. EDT (2041 GMT; 1:41 p.m. local California time).
Starlink, SpaceX's internet-beaming network in low Earth orbit (LEO), is by far the largest satellite constellation ever assembled. The company has lofted more than 10,000 Starlink spacecraft to date, and nearly 8,800 of them are active today.
Most of SpaceX's launches these days go toward building out Starlink even further: The company has flown 138 Falcon 9 missions so far in 2025, and 99 have been Starlink efforts.
The Falcon 9's first stage came back to Earth about 8.5 minutes after launch, touching down in the Pacific Ocean on the SpaceX drone ship "Of Course I Still Love You."
It was the 29th flight for this particular booster, which is designated 1063. That's close to the Falcon 9 reuse record, which currently stands at 31 flights.
Meanwhile, the Falcon 9's upper stage will continue hauling the 29 Starlink satellites to LEO, where they'll be deployed about an hour after liftoff.

Airmen and Space Force guardians will be extended for 60 days due to shutdown
Oct 30, 2025 2:59 PM EDT
A total of roughly 50 airmen and Space Force guardians are being extended for 60 days during the federal government shutdown.
The Air Force is telling roughly 50 airmen and Space Force guardians who had expected to separate in November that their time in the service is being extended for 60 days due to the government shutdown, a Department of Air Force spokesperson told Task & Purpose.
The service members affected by the extension have scheduled separation dates, but they have not yet applied for official separation of service, the spokesperson said.
The extension ensures that these service members will receive benefits during the shutdown and backpay when the government reopens.
Airmen and guardians are not required to stay in the Air or Space Force for the full 60 days if the federal government reopens before then, the spokesperson said.
The Department of the Air Force announced the extensions in an email that was sent to the force on Thursday.
The move comes one week after the Army announced that soldiers nearing the end of their contracts would be extended for 45 days because the federal government is legally barred by the Antideficiency Act from spending money during a government shutdown.
“Failure to extend personnel may result in losing access to base, housing, benefits, pay, reimbursement for travel, and household goods shipment,” Army spokesman Maj. Travis Shaw told Task & Purpose on Wednesday.
“As an Army priority, the extension is for the soldier’s and their family’s health and welfare.”
The shutdown began Oct. 1, and it is unclear when Congress will pass a spending measure to fund federal government operations.
While these extensions may feel similar to stop-loss — a policy under which service members are involuntarily retained on active duty beyond the end of their contract — there are key differences in the underlying legal rationales for the two different types of actions, said Katherine Kuzminski, director of the Military, Veterans, and Society Program at the Center for a New American Security think tank in Washington, D.C.
“The president has the authority to enact stop-loss during a national emergency (a time of war) to meet requirements, and [it] is based on retaining those from either specific career fields necessary to the national interest or retaining specific units for an active national security requirement,” Kuzminski told Task & Purpose for an Oct. 22 story.
In this case, the extension is designed to ensure that troops stay in uniform throughout the shutdown so that when the government reopens, they will receive pay and benefits, and any entitlements that come with separating.
Read the Air Force email about the extensions below:
Due to the lapse in appropriations, the Department of the Air Force is legally prohibited from obligating the government for costs associated with your pending separation.
As a result, the DAF is extending your date of separation (DOS) by 60 days until we can legally approve separation orders.
This extension of 60-days offers maximum flexibility, reducing the likelihood of multiple extensions in the event of a prolonged shutdown and avoids establishing separation dates during federal holidays in November and December.
Departing without official separation orders may jeopardize eligibility for separation-related benefits and entitlements.
You will maintain leave, pay, benefits, and entitlements while on active duty. Once funding is restored through an appropriation or continuing resolution, you may request an earlier separation. Reapplication for separation is not required.
We understand each Airman and Guardian’s situation is unique, and we are committed to providing you with as much information and support as possible during this uncertain time.
Your servicing MPF is standing by for your questions. You may also direct questions to AFPC at afpc.dps.separations@us.af.mil.

Military Associations Call on Congress to End Shutdown
October 31, 2025
ARLINGTON, Va. — Six leading military associations pressed congressional leadership to restore federal funding and end the month-long government shutdown today in a letter to House and Senate majority and minority leadership.
Warning that continued inaction is jeopardizing military readiness and the well-being of service members, defense civilians, and their families, the six associations, which represent a combined 1.8 million members, include:
The Air & Space Forces Association (AFA)
The Association of the United States Army (AUSA)
Marine Corps Association (MCA)
National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS)
Reserve Organization of America (ROA)
Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS)
Addressing Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, and Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer, the six military associations highlight the growing impact of the funding lapse across the defense community.
“America’s Airmen, Guardians, and their Families should never have to shoulder the burden of political gridlock.
Every day this shutdown continues; readiness erodes, morale declines, and the people who keep our nation safe face mounting uncertainty.
Congress must act now to restore full federal funding and ensure our troops are paid and supported,” said AFA President and CEO Lt. Gen. Burt Field, USAF (Ret.)
The letter warns that as the shutdown continues, the situation will worsen.
Military members received their pay Oct. 31, but Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has indicated that funds may not be available to cover Nov. 15 paychecks.
That puts military families at risk of not getting paid mid-month, while federal civilians are at risk of missing a third consecutive paycheck.
“At $8.5 billion a month, the military payroll crisis is too large for charities or public generosity to overcome,” the letter adds.
“Were every American to contribute $20 to offset the cost of military payroll, that would still be too little to cover a month’s military pay. Only restoring federal funding can solve this problem.”

Arizona Judge Busted Drunk and Urinating in Public, Cops Drag Away Husband — She Resigns in Disgrace
Yavapai County Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore Kristyne Schaaf-Olson has resigned in disgrace after being caught urinating in public while heavily intoxicated in Prescott, Arizona.
The incident unfolded in the early hours of October 4, around 1:30 a.m., when witnesses alerted police to the 42-year-old judge squatting in shrubbery with her pants down.
Body camera footage obtained by Fox 10 captured the grotesque scene, with an officer confronting Schaaf-Olson, declaring, “This is disgusting,” and “This is unacceptable.”
The judge was so inebriated she couldn’t even spell her own name, leading the officer to describe her as “useless.”
“She’s useless. She can’t even spell her name,” the officer says.
The drama escalated when her husband, Jason Olson, the parks and recreation manager for the Town of Chino Valley, tried to intervene. He repeatedly ignored officers’ commands to back off and attempted to pull his wife away from questioning.
An officer warned him, “I’m going to f—king throw you on the ground if you resist,” before hauling him into a police cruiser.
Jason Olson was cited for resisting arrest, interfering with a crime scene investigation, and obstruction of government operations.
Schaaf-Olson was cited for urinating or defecating in public.
Just two days after the incident, Schaaf-Olson submitted her resignation to Presiding Judge John Napper, citing “current physical, medical, and family circumstances.”
In her statement, she said, “The Yavapai community deserves and has judges who are steadfast in their commitment to serving Yavapai County, considering current events in my life, I believe it would be difficult to honor this commitment. I have therefore decided to resign.”
Presiding Judge Napper responded, “I respect and appreciate Ms. Schaaf-Olson’s decision to resign. On behalf of the Yavapai County Superior Court, I appreciate the time that Ms. Schaaf-Olson has served our community and her willingness to remain in her position while the Court selects a new Pro Tempore.”
The disgraced judge’s final day on the bench was October 31.

Russian forces cut Ukrainian military supply line – MOD
31 Oct, 2025 20:03
The Russian Air Force has struck a key bridge in Dnepropetrovsk Region as part of efforts to disrupt Ukrainian military logistics in the area, the Defense Ministry said on Telegram on Friday. It also published a video of what it says is the target being hit.
The bridge crossing the Volchya River reportedly served as part of a key supply line used by Ukrainian forces in the nearby town of Pokrovskoye located in the eastern part of Dnepropetrovsk Region. Ukrainian troops used it to transport military hardware and ammunition, according to the ministry.
Footage released by the MOD shows the structure being rocked by several powerful explosions, with at least one of its spans collapsing as a result.
Later on Friday, the ministry also reported that Russian troops had liberated the village of Novoaleksandrovka, 12km from Pokrovskoye on the other bank of the Volchya River. Russian forces took control over an area of 12 square kilometers after a successful offensive, according to the statement.
Russian forces have been steadily gaining ground in recent months. Chief of the Russian General Staff Valery Gerasimov has said the troops are advancing in nearly all directions. Russian officials maintain that Kiev is sacrificing its population as “cannon fodder” in a war it cannot win.
Last month, Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Aleksandr Syrsky reportedly fired two senior officers following setbacks in Dnepropetrovsk Region and Russia’s Zaporozhye Region. In mid-October, Syrsky described the situation on the front lines as “difficult.”
Moscow has stated that it is open to diplomacy and is willing to begin peace talks as long as its national interests and the reality on the ground are respected. It has accused the Ukrainian government of stalling negotiations and showing no genuine interest in ending the conflict.
Ukrainian officials continue to insist on regaining all of the country’s former territories. Earlier this month, US President Donald Trump said Kiev wants to go on the offensive against Russia.

Russian military thwarts Ukrainian special forces op in encircled town – MOD
1 Nov, 2025 10:00
The Russian military has prevented an attempt by Ukraine to deploy special forces near the encircled town of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) in Donbass, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.
Western media outlets, including Reuters and The Economist, reported on Friday that Kiev had used a US-supplied Black Hawk helicopter to attempt to deploy elite troops to the eastern part of Krasnoarmeysk.
The landing attempt was reportedly personally coordinated by the chief of Ukraine’s military intelligence service (HUR), Kirill Budanov.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that “a helicopter landing by a HUR special operations forces group was prevented approximately 1km northwest of the outskirts of the town of Krasnoarmeysk in Russia’s Donetsk People's Republic.”
All 11 elite Ukrainian troops who descended from the helicopter were “destroyed,” it added.
Last week, the chief of the Russian General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, reported to President Vladimir Putin that some 5,500 Ukrainian servicemen have been encircled in Krasnoarmeysk.
Russian forces have also blocked another 5,000 troops in Dimitrov (Mirnograd) and Kupyansk, according to Gerasimov.
Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky earlier described the situation in Krasnoarmeysk as “difficult,” but denied any encirclement and accused Moscow of exaggerating its gains on the battlefield.
On Thursday, Putin said Moscow was ready to halt its offensive operations and allow Ukrainian and other foreign journalists to travel to the front line and “see with their own eyes” that Ukrainian troops are trapped in the three towns.
Kiev, however, barred media workers from making the trip, with Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tikhy warning that visiting Krasnoarmeysk, Dimitrov, or Kupyansk would be “a violation of our legislation” that would have “long-term reputational and legal consequences.”
The Russian Defense Ministry has accused Kiev of lying to the Ukrainian people and the world about its military setbacks.
By denying access to reporters, Zelensky’s government effectively acknowledged the “catastrophic situation” faced by its encircled troops, it added.

US Drone Observes Aid Truck Looted by Hamas in Gaza
TAMPA, Fla. – On Oct. 31, the U.S.-led Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) observed suspected Hamas operatives looting an aid truck traveling as part of a humanitarian convoy delivering needed assistance from international partners to Gazans in northern Khan Younis.
The coordination center was alerted through video surveillance from a U.S. MQ-9 aerial drone flying overhead to monitor implementation of the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
Operatives attacked the driver and stole the aid and truck after moving the driver to the road’s median. The driver’s current status is unknown.
Over the past week, international partners have delivered more than 600 trucks of commercial goods and aid into Gaza daily. This incident undermines these efforts.
Nearly 40 nations and international organizations represented at the CMCC are working together to help flow humanitarian, logistical and security assistance into Gaza.

'They're not scary' — Ukraine's drone commander 'Madyar' promises blackouts in Russia after new strikes
November 1, 2025 5:08 pm
Ukraine is preparing new strikes on Russian energy infrastructure that could lead to widespread blackouts, according to Robert "Madyar" Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Drone Systems Forces.
Attacks by Ukraine’s defense forces, particularly long-range strike assets including drones, would soon force Russian regions to adapt to ongoing disruptions in power supply, Brovdi wrote on Facebook on Nov. 1.
"Blackouts are not scary. They’re just a bit inconvenient… The birds of the Drone Systems Forces, together with other components of Ukraine’s deep strike capabilities, promise you a rapid, if somewhat forced, adaptation," he wrote.
Brovdi described Ukraine’s drones as "Free Ukrainian Birds," unpredictable and not bound by schedules.
He added that Russian fuel shortages were becoming more frequent, while gas and oil reserves were "burning fast."
The statement followed reports of a mass power outage in Moscow Oblast on Oct. 31, which Russian media linked to drone attacks on energy facilities in the region.
Elsewhere on Nov. 1, Ukraine's military intelligence (HUR) struck a key Russian military fuel pipeline in Moscow Oblast a day earlier, disabling a key supply route used by the Russian army, the agency said in a statement.
HUR said the strike targeted the Koltsevoy (Ring) pipeline, a 400-kilometer-long fuel artery used to supply Russia’s armed forces with gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel from refineries in Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Moscow.
The operation reportedly destroyed all three major fuel lines of the system simultaneously near Ramensky district, south-east of Moscow. Despite anti-drone nets and armed security on-site, the pipeline infrastructure was successfully taken out of service, HUR said.
"The Ring pipeline was capable of transporting up to 3 million tons of jet fuel annually, as well as millions of tons of diesel and gasoline," HUR said, calling the strike a "serious blow" to Russia’s military logistics and its economy in Moscow Oblast.

Frontline report: Russia builds metal cages around refineries as Ukrainian drone strikes expose air defense failures
01/11/2025
Today, the biggest news comes from the Russian Federation.
Here, Russians have started building metal and mesh cope cages around refineries to shield them from Ukrainian drone attacks, with calls to expand the structures and even build the cages around whole industrial cities.
What began as a frontline improvisation has now spread deep into Russia's industrial heartland, reflecting both the reach of Ukraine's drone campaign and Moscow's growing desperation to protect its fuel and industrial base.
Ukraine's strikes eliminate 20% of Russian refining capacity
Ukraine's strikes on Russian refineries have been among its most effective long-range operations of the year.
In the past months, Ukrainian drones have hit at least nineteen refineries across Russia, knocking out an estimated fifteen to twenty percent of national refining capacity.
The campaign has consisted of repeated strikes, with these refineries being the top targets to cause maximum damage, causing long term disruption of fuel exports and national shortages.
Drone footage has additionally shown precision hits on fuel storage tanks in Ryazan, Tuapse, and Omsk, while thermal satellite imagery confirming several large-scale fires within hours of impact at each of the sites.
One recent strike occurred at a fuel depot in Bologoye in the Tver region, where a drone struck an aviation-fuel tank but failed to ignite it, an outcome that may have contributed to the sudden rush to install cage protection.
Battlefield-style cages spread across Russian industrial sites
With the damage mounting, Russian companies have turned to a makeshift defense borrowed directly from the battlefield.
In Samara and other refinery hubs, metal frames and stretched nets cover storage tanks, pipelines, and loading platforms.
These designs mimic the protective cope cages used on tanks at the front, a framework meant to detonate drones before they strike critical equipment.
Some facilities have even enclosed entire process units, forming little caged cities.
The structures are appearing not just in Samar but also near Ufa, Oryol, and Novopolotsk, suggesting a coordinated effort backed by regional authorities rather than individual initiatives.
The cages act as a blast diffuser, forcing an income drone to strike the metal mesh or frame before hitting the tank.

Limited effectiveness of improvised defenses
This can cause the warhead to explode prematurely and vent blasts upward, reducing the risk of full combustion.
Early results suggest the barriers can absorb small impacts and deflect fragments away from exposed tanks, but their protection remains limited.
Many of the nets are thin, unanchored, and prone to tearing from heat and stock. Ukrainian drones have already been adapted with tandem warheads and downward-firing charges that can penetrate gaps in the mesh.
Others now target lateral pipelines, pump units, or rail-loading tracks, bypassing the overhead protection altogether.
Even if a cage prevents a direct hit, a well-placed strike on connecting infrastructure can still disable an entire refinery section.
Debate over responsibility for industrial defense
Inside Russia, these improvised defenses have stirred unease about who should be responsible for national security.
The installation of cages is funded largely by the companies themselves, not by the state, and many within the energy sector quietly question why industrial sites must now shoulder the burden of air defense.
Russian billionaires argue that the cost of building steel frameworks, maintaining watch teams, and installing sensors should come directly from taxes that already fund the security forces.
Some officials defend the practice as pragmatic self-protection, but others see it as an admission that regular air defense has failed to keep pace with Ukraine's expanding drone range.
For many workers, the cages are as much psychological reassurance as they are physical protection.
Cages expose Russia's vulnerability rather than strength
Overall, the spread of these caged cities marks a revealing new stage in the drone war.
It shows how Ukraine's strikes have reached deep enough to reshape Russia's industrial landscape and public morale, exposing the limits of the country's failing air defense system.
Yet the cages also highlight how defensive improvisation rarely keeps up with offensive innovation.
If Ukraine continues to refine its tactics with heavier drones, simultaneous strikes, or an initial explosion to blow open the cage, Russia will face a costly cycle of damage and reconstruction.
What began as a short-term adaptation may become a long-term liability, draining resources while doing little to restore real security.
In that sense, the new cage structures are less a sign of protection rather than a visible symbol of vulnerability, evidence that the war has now reached the core of Russia's energy infrastructure.

Remains returned to Israel by Hamas not of hostages, says Institute of Forensic Medicine
Updated: NOVEMBER 1, 2025 15:33
The three partial remains Hamas returned to Israel on Friday night do not belong to any of the hostages still in Gaza, DNA tests conducted at the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Abu Kabir concluded.
Late on Friday, the IDF was preparing for the return of the partial remains of three slain Gaza hostages, according to Israeli media.
The Red Cross handed over the remains to IDF troops overnight, but Hamas had not specified which remains it was handing over.
Hamas said in a statement on Saturday that it had initially offered three samples from unidentified bodies to Israeli authorities for testing.
"In order to not impede the handover of the bodies, we offered to deliver three samples from a number of unidentified corpses," Hamas stated on Telegram.
"Israel refused to accept the sample and demanded to receive the bodies for examination, and we handed them over to preempt the enemy's claims."
Meanwhile, Israel returned the bodies of 30 Palestinian prisoners as part of the ceasefire deal, the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis told AFP.
“The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), acting as a neutral intermediary, assisted this evening, at the request and with the approval of both parties, in returning the remains of three bodies to Israeli authorities.
The identification process is the responsibility of the relevant authorities in Israel and will be carried out by them," the ICRC statement reads.
“The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) does not take part in locating the remains. In accordance with international humanitarian law, it is the responsibility of the parties to locate, collect, and return the dead.
The parties must act to assist in returning them to their families. The ICRC can fulfill its role as a neutral intermediary only through the cooperation of all relevant parties and within the framework of the current agreement.”
This comes after slain hostages Amiram Cooper and Sahar Baruch were returned to Israel on Thursday night.
The remains of the two slain hostages were transferred into Israeli territory by the IDF and the Shin Bet on Thursday evening just before 5:30 p.m., the Prime Minister's Office said, and were identified at the National Institute of Forensic Medicine.
Hamas reburies remains of Ofir Tzarfati, stages discovery of body in front of Red Cross
Mediators informed Hamas to withdraw from behind the Yellow Line before Thursday evening, otherwise the IDF would strike, a US official told The Jerusalem Post that night.
"Last night, Hamas was notified through Egypt and Qatar that they had 24 hours to evacuate their terrorists from the area behind the yellow line currently being held by the IDF," the source said.
Hamas had previously crossed past the Yellow Line with the permission of Israeli authorities, and in coordination with the Red Cross, to recover the bodies of hostages.
On Tuesday, the IDF published footage of Hamas's reburial and staged discovery of slain hostage Ofir Tzarfati's remains.
The video, filmed by an IDF drone that had been in the area, shows Hamas members placing Tzarfati's remains in a freshly dug hole before covering the remains with dirt.
They then proceeded to "dig" up the remains and called over members of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to witness the discovery.

Pakistan’s drone strike on civilians in Quetta triggers fury, internet blackout across Balochistan
Nov 1, 2025
Balochistan: At least nine people were critically injured in a drone strike on Wednesday in the Chiltan Mountain range near Pakistan’s Quetta.
While the Pakistani army claimed it was targeting “terrorists”, witnesses stated that the victims were unarmed civilians who had gathered for a picnic at a national park, as reported by The Balochistan Post.
According to The Balochistan Post, the drone reportedly struck the Hazarganji-Chiltan National Park, a scenic picnic destination on Quetta’s outskirts.
Eyewitnesses said dozens of families were present when the explosions occurred, causing chaos and panic.
“There were many civilians there enjoying their holiday when the drone hit,” one resident stated, adding that people fled as multiple blasts shook the area.
Residents pointed out that a Frontier Corps checkpoint was located near the site, questioning how the operation could have taken place in such a densely populated civilian area.
Doctors at a Quetta hospital confirmed that nine men had been admitted with severe shrapnel wounds.
In a statement, Pakistan’s military media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), described the strike as part of an “intelligence-based operation” and claimed that fourteen “terrorists were sent to hell.”
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti hailed the operation as a “major counter-terrorism success”.
However, residents and rights groups strongly contradicted that narrative. Activists in Quetta described the strike as a possible “misfire” that targeted innocent civilians rather than militants.
They demanded an independent probe into the incident and accountability from the authorities, as highlighted by The Balochistan Post.
Following widespread outrage on social media, where images of the injured spread rapidly, the provincial administration ordered a suspension of mobile internet services across Quetta.
Human rights defenders stated that Pakistan’s recurring internet shutdowns in Balochistan amounted to “collective punishment”.
They reflected the state’s disregard for civil liberties and information rights, as reported by The Balochistan Post.

Berlin airport briefly halts flights due to drone sightings
November 1, 2025
Similar to other incidents across Europe, flights at Berlin Brandenburg Airport were suspended for nearly two hours due to unidentified drone sightings. Officers in a patrol car observed a drone, but couldn't locate it.
Air traffic at Berlin Brandenburg Airport was temporarily suspended on Friday evening following drone sightings, causing delays and flight diversions.
An airport spokesman said takeoffs and landings were suspended between 8:08 p.m. (1908 GMT) and 9:58 p.m. local time, and that a "whole series of flights" were diverted to other German cities during the closure.
He added that Berlin's ban on night flights was also relaxed to mitigate the impact on flight operations. "We assume that the danger has been averted for the time being," the spokesman said.
What do we know about the incident?
At around 8 p.m. (19:00 GMT), a witness reported seeing a drone, prompting the closure of the airport's northern runway, according to a police spokesman.
Officers in a patrol car later observed a drone as well, but were unable to locate it. The incident prompted a significant response, including the deployment of a police helicopter. Germany's Federal Aviation Office also joined the operation.
Which flights were delayed or redirected?
The halt prevented flights to Basel, Oslo and Barcelona from departing.
A flight from London to Berlin was diverted to Hamburg, according to the dpa news agency, with the pilot citing drone activity as the reason.
Flight schedules showed that flights to Berlin from Stockholm, Antalya and Helsinki were also redirected.
Berlin Brandenburg Airport advised travelers to check their flight statuses with their airlines.
Drones banned around German airports
To prevent interference with takeoffs and landings, drones are banned within a 1.5-kilometer (1 mile) radius of German airports.
Sightings can result in the partial or full suspension of operations, and illegal flights near airports are considered dangerous with civil aviation and may result in severe punishment.
Recently, airports in Denmark, Norway, and Poland have suspended flights due to unidentified drones.
In early October, drones were spotted over Munich, a city in southern Germany, twice shutting down the city's airport and grounding thousands of passengers after their flights were canceled or rerouted.

“Then we’ll start the process of winnowing out those issues that we can accept, those that are not [acceptable].”

Kenyan Navy Intercepts Flagless Vessel Carrying $63 Million in Meth
Kenyan authorities have seized more than a metric ton of methamphetamine in a major maritime drug bust coordinated with INTERPOL and international partners.
On 21 October 2025, the Kenyan Navy intercepted a flagless dhow roughly 340 nautical miles east of Mombasa after intelligence sharing between the Regional Narcotics Interagency Fusion Cell in Bahrain and the Regional Coordination Operations Centre in Seychelles, according to a release from Interpol.
The vessel was escorted to Mombasa three days later, where a multi-agency command center was established under the Deputy Commander of the Kenyan Navy. INTERPOL said it played a key advisory and oversight role, helping manage the search to ensure the evidence would stand up in court and coordinating support from the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which deployed personnel to assist.
Interpol writes that authorities discovered 769 packets containing 1,024 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine with a purity level of 98%. Kenyan experts value the seizure at more than KES 8 billion (USD 63 million).
Six crew members were arrested and now face drug-trafficking charges. Kenya’s Anti-Narcotics Unit is leading the ongoing investigation.
INTERPOL said the operation demonstrates how international coordination and real-time intelligence sharing are essential to counter the growing threat of maritime drug trafficking in the Indian Ocean.

US strategy of ‘regime change’ is over – Gabbard
Venezuela earlier this year accused the US president of plotting a coup, while Trump himself has floated the idea of overthrowing Iran’s leadership
US intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard has acknowledged Washington’s history of regime change but said it ended under President Donald Trump – despite his recent remarks on Iran and accusations about Venezuela.
The US has long faced criticism for pursuing policies aimed at overthrowing governments under the banner of promoting democracy or protecting national interests – from Iraq in 2003 and Libya in 2011 to backing “color revolutions” such as Ukraine’s 2014 Maidan coup. Speaking at the 21st Manama Dialogue in Bahrain on Saturday, Gabbard claimed that, unlike its predecessors, the Trump administration prioritizes diplomacy and mutual deals over coups.
“The old Washington way of thinking is something we hope is in the rearview mirror and something that has held us back for too long: for decades, our foreign policy has been trapped in a counterproductive and endless cycle of regime change or nation building,” she stated, describing it as a “one-size-fits-all approach” of toppling regimes, imposing US governance models, and intervening in “poorly understood” conflicts, only to “walk away with more enemies than allies.”
Gabbard said the strategy drained trillions of US taxpayer dollars, cost countless lives, and fueled new security threats, but noted that Trump was elected “to put an end to this.”
“And from day one, he has showed a very different way to conduct foreign policy, one that is pragmatic, that is deal-driven,” she said. “This is what President Trump’s America First policy looks like in action – building peace through diplomacy.”
Since his inauguration in early 2025, Trump has repeatedly portrayed himself as a global peacemaker, boasting of brokering international deals and saying he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. Critics, however, argue his pressure campaigns on Venezuela and Iran mirror Washington’s regime-change playbook.
Caracas last month accused the US of plotting a coup against President Nicolas Maduro under the guise of its ongoing anti-drug campaign off the country’s coast. Trump himself hinted at “regime change” in Iran after US strikes in June, posting on truth Social: “Why wouldn’t there be a Regime change???” Tehran, which has long accused Washington of trying to destabilize it through sanctions and covert actions, denounced the strikes as proof of renewed efforts to undermine its government.

White House Cordons Off Reporters From West Wing Communications Offices
The Trump administration’s latest attempts to curtail press leaks disallows White House reporters from accessing the inner offices of senior communication officials in the West Wing in order to protect national security secrets.
A memo released to the reporters Friday evening addressed from the National Security Council (NSC) to President Donald Trump’s White House Communications Director Steven Cheung and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt states reporters should no longer freely walk into their offices, known as “Upper Press,” located in Room 140, just feet away from the Oval Office.
The White House’s communications staff has also begun directing communications for the National Security Council due to a recent “structural change,” the memo states. The policy cordoning off “Upper Press” thereby ensures the security of sensitive material, the memo argues.
Reporters can continue to speak with more junior press aides outside the White House Briefing Room, the memo adds.
Cheung claimed in a Friday post on X that reporters had been caught eavesdropping on meetings with senior members of the Trump administration in Upper Press. Some reporters also supposedly made surreptitious recordings of those engagements and photographed sensitive documents.
“Cabinet Secretaries routinely come into our office for private meetings, only to be ambushed by reporters waiting outside our doors,” he said.

POTUS will be well insulated/protected on AF1 and abroad (specific locations classified) while these operations are conducted due to the nature of the entrenchment. It is time to take back our country and make America great again. Let us salute and pray for the brave men and women in uniform who will undertake this assignment to bring forth peace, unity, and return power to the people.
It is our hope that this message reaches enough people to make a meaningful impact. We cannot yet telegraph this message through normal methods for reasons I’m sure everyone here can understand. Follow the questions from the previous thread(s) and remain calm, the primary targets are within DC and remain at the top (on both sides). The spill over in the streets will be quickly shut down. Look for more false flags – stay alert, be vigilant, and above all, please pray.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Love is patient, love is kind.”
God bless my fellow Americans.

Epstein, Andrew and Paul Keating’s daughter: The inside story you need to know
A seven second clip of Epstein, Andrew and an Australian Prime Minister’s daughter continues to haunt all parties.
A rugged up brunette is leaving 9 East 71st Street, the seven-story, 40-room home reported to be the city’s largest and a middle-aged man is seeing her off, giving her a final wave.
Unbeknownst to either of them, two carloads of journalists are outside, recording the seconds-long scene.
It’s a moment around which questions still swirl 15 years later and a moment that continues to haunt both parties.
Why was Katherine Keating, the Australian Prime Minister’s daughter, visiting the home of Jeffrey Epstein during Prince Andrew’s infamous four-day ‘holiday’ staying at the by then convicted child sex offender’s home?
The seven seconds of video of Andrew and Ms Keating was reportedly shot on December 6 2010 when Epstein was only 17 months out of jail.
She had just moved to the city having begun dating one of the “one of the world’s most eligible” bachelors and he was the one-time war hero turned roving trade ambassador on a permanent international jolly, clocking up Mandarin Oriental stays like the Augustus Gloop of airmiles.
We all know how his story – Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre publicly accusing the former prince of raping her as a teenager (Andrew has always denied the claims); him going on Newsnight in 2019 and showed the world exactly what an entitled pillock he really is; him being caught this month having lied about having cut off contact with Epstein.
