The company has also begun offering retired workers meals at the canteen so they can share knowledge of recently re-started lines producing Soviet-era ammunition for Ukraine.

Czech explosives maker Explosia - which employs around 600 workers and posted a record 1.2 billion crowns ($55 million) in revenue last year - told Reuters it is expanding cooperation with local universities and speeding automation to offset a lack of workers at the company, which is known for producing the plastic explosive Semtex.

Polish military technology company WB Group started hiring women last year on a larger scale on assembly lines previously comprising mostly male workers. The company - which employs more than 2,000 staff and generated 602 million zloty ($150 million) in revenue last year - produces unmanned drones and missile systems.

Central Europe represents an important pipeline for Ukraine's military. Of the 29 states that supplied major weapons in 2022, Poland and the Czech Republic accounted for more than 20 percent of the total Ukrainian arms imports by volume, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.

The Czech government said that - including weapons supplied from its own stores - the country sent military supplies worth 40 billion Czech crowns ($1.84 billion) to Ukraine in the first 12 months of the war. That included 89 tanks, 226 armored vehicles, 38 howitzers along with air defense systems, helicopters, ammunition and rockets, it said.

Shokin’s video addressed a variety of points, from accusations that the investigation into Burisma was dormant to allegations of his corruption and his eventual removal as prosecutor.

In a lengthy, detailed response, Shokin refuted the notion that his investigations were “dormant” and explained how they were active, even leading to seizures of assets from Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky.

Viktor Shokin was removed as Ukraine’s Prosecutor General in 2016 due to pressure from Western governments (Joe Biden) and allegedly international institutions like the EU and IMF. His dismissal was part of a “larger anti-corruption effort,” as Shokin’s office had been criticized for not “adequately pursuing corruption investigations.”

“As for the assertion that these investigations were supposedly “dormant,” then I can give very striking examples, namely our actions after the ban on 23 million Zlochevsky was lifted in the UK,” said Shokin.

“I appointed an internal investigation, opened a criminal investigation into how-and why- the money that been seized was released in the UK. What is more, 10-12 days before my resignation, on February 2, 2016, the court seized assets, his personal savings, property, cars, and so on,” he added.

Shokin said that the U.S. intelligence agencies had been closely watching the investigation process, and he was confident that Biden was aware of the progress. Shokin added that he believed Biden acted behind the scenes to have him removed, fearing that the investigation could negatively affect his son and others close to him.

“I understand very well that the United States has one of the strongest intelligence agencies in the world… Apparently, Mr. Biden was informed that we are approaching the moment when the interrogations of his son and other persons began,” Shokin said.

Shokin maintained that the real motivation behind Biden’s push for his removal was to protect his personal and family interests rather than the interests of the American people.

It can be recalled that owner Mykola Zlochevsky and executive Vadym Pozharski of Burisma placed constant pressure on Hunter Biden to lobby Washington, DC, for assistance in dealing with Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin.

Hunter was hired by Burisma to serve on the board in exchange for $83,000 per month to have access to his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden. It was reported that it was for “consulting services.”

Burisma sought assistance from Joe Biden in halting an investigation led by Viktor Shokin. In return, Joe Biden received a $10 million bribe from Burisma for his assistance in stopping Shokin’s investigation, as shown in the FD-1023.

Biden then threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. aid to Ukraine unless Shokin was fired. Who can forget Joe Biden bragging about it on video?

In 2020, Shokin filed an official complaint against Joe Biden for interference in Ukraine’s legal proceedings. In the same month, Shokin claimed he had been poisoned with “mercury five months ago during his stay in Greece,” according to Interfax.

“I don’t have any obvious enemies whom I can blame for this. Of course, one of the versions, but this version requires investigation, is that Biden was somehow involved in some way in these issues. I officially addressed the Greek law enforcement authorities on this and asked them to investigate… Officially, I haven’t received an answer yet, although I contacted them quite a while back about opening criminal proceedings in connection a premeditated attempt to murder me,” Shokin said.

Then on February 2020, Ukraine launched criminal proceedings against former Joe Biden on allegations he pressured authorities into forcing the resignation of Ukrainian Prosecutor-General Viktor Shokin.

In May 2020, Shokin made an appeal to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, urging him to take action regarding the unwillingness of Ukrainian law enforcement to investigate illegal acts committed by Joe Biden.

Shokin went on to say in the interview that no criminal investigation was initiated against Hunter Biden. He insisted that the case was related to the violation of the law by Burisma. He claimed that as they delved deeper into the investigation, they began to suspect that the directors of the company, including Hunter Biden, might also be involved.

“When we began to actively move forward with the aim of clarifying this crime and finding who had been guilty of violating Ukrainian laws at Burisma. We ended up discovering that the administrators recruited in May-June 2014 were probably involved. These were Devon Archer, Hunter Biden, and others. Joe Biden had reason to fear that all this would eventually fall on his son,” said Shokin.

When asked for his reactions regarding the notion that it was not only Biden who wanted him to leave but also other institutions such as the IMF or the EU, Shokin responded:

“First, I don’t remember a single time, not a single one, when Biden formally asked for my dismissal while I was a Prosecutor General. I think and I have reason to think that this is all a deception. I asked them: Give me one example that proves that I am corrupt – one any wrongdoing that I may have committed. No one has yet managed to do this, including Biden,” said Shokin.

“I am not a politician and I have never pursued a political goal in any investigation including the Burisma investigation. I have often met Ambassador Pyatt as well as other ambassadors and I have never been told that my work was poor or bad. What is more, these same ambassadors already said to me in autumn [2015]: “Viktor, hold on! We understand that this is all slander. We don’t know where it came from. Nothing was done officially. All this is unofficial and takes place behind the scenes,” Shokin recounted.

In 2015, People’s Deputy Serhii Leshchenko commented on his decision to vote for Viktor Shokin’s candidacy for the post of Prosecutor General. He said Shokin is the best prosecutor in the last 20 years.

“I remember Shokin, who initiated cases against Pukach, Kolesnikov, Kushnaryov and Kolomoiskyi. And as a person who communicates with some investigators of the General Prosecutor’s Office, I have insider information about how Shokin behaved in office. According to them, this is the best of the proposals for the post of Prosecutor General in the last 20 years,” Leshchenko wrote.

This serves as further evidence that the claim that Shokin is corrupt is without merit.

“If my corruption had been proven, Biden and other politicians would have said everything out loud officially, for the Parliament, and in the media. They would have given specific examples of my corruption and dishonesty. You can check its very simple. I worked for a year as prosecutor general. My work has been reviewed in the press and it turns out that my results were better than those of the previous prosecutors. It’s easy to verify, because these figures are factual.”

Shokin mentioned that he wrote a letter to the U.S. Secretary of State and received a positive reply.

“I have already told you that I wrote a letter to the United States Secretary of State and received an answer through Ms. Nuland. And her appreciation was very positive. She told me that the current organization of Prosecutor General’s office was fine and that it would investigate and resolve cases related to corruption and other crimes in an efficient and transparent manner. This was the situation before Joe Biden started to persecute me and put pressure on President Poroshenko over my dismissal,” said Shokin.

Shokin received a letter from Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States, Victoria Nuland.

Shokin’s comments extend to strong criticism of how the Obama regime treated Ukraine during his time in office, suggesting that Biden and other officials regarded Ukraine as a “fiefdom.”

“You know a lot of things seem strange to me about this period of Obama’s presidential mandate over Ukraine. In my opinion, they believed that Ukraine was their fiefdom. Mr. Biden humiliated Ukraine and the President. He demonstrated to the whole world how he was the boss in Ukraine.”

“In my opinion, this man has no right, moral or otherwise to stand for the presidency of USA, the most democratic country in the world, or even to think about it. This man insulted my mother using obscene insults you know that. He insulted all mothers in the world, even his own mother. It is unworthy to call mothers this way [b*tch],” Shokin said, referring to a video where Joe Biden bragged about firing him and called him a son of a b*tch.

Shokin: Under the Obama presidency, it seemed to be the case. The most shocking thing is that all the appointments were made in agreement with the United States and with Biden in particular even at the level of the deputy Prosecutor General that I know for sure.

Shokin: I wish him luck, because he will need it. In my opinion, his moral and individual qualities are very low and to continue living normally in the United States or in another country he will need to be lucky. The Biden-China Energy Nexus: Text Messages Reveal Intricate Web Of Influence(ZeroHedge.com)

Text messages recently given to the FBI reveal that a Chinese energy company, CEFC, sought to leverage connections to Hunter Biden in order to acquire domestic energy assets within the United States.

The intricate narrative began in late 2015, as CEFC was hoping to leverage the Biden name to provide cover for its ambitious plan, Just the News reports.

The overtures began subtly, as Hunter Biden's business partner, James Gilliar, began laying the foundation of an influence peddling scheme.

"There will be a deal between one of the most prominent families from US and them (China) constructed by me," texted Hunter Biden business partner James Gilliar to future partner Tony Bobulinski on Christmas Eve, 2015, just after Hunter had been alerted to CEFC China Energy's ambitions, and its wealthy CEO Ye Jianming.

"I think this will then be a great addition to their portfolios as it will give them a profile base in NYC, then LA, etc," Gilliar added in the text, which was obtained by JTN. "For me it's a no brainer but culturally they are different, but smart so let’s see. … Any entry ticket is small for them. Easier and better demographic than Arabs who are little anti US after trump."

The messages corroborate testimony this week from former Hunter Biden business associate Devon Archer, who detailed Hunter's influence peddling scheme by which he and father Joe came as a "brand" package to help foreign clients seeking influence.

CEFC's plans were unearthed in the exchanges between Hunter Biden and his Chinese counterparts. Plans were made for meetings and dinners - some materializing while others fizzled. One such dud was a Dec. 6, 2015 dinner planned for Hunter and Ye, which was going to be hosted by Serbian businessman Vuc Jeremic, per the emails. Hunter eventually did meet later that month with CEFC Executive Director Jianjun Zang, according to information on Hunter's infamous laptop.

By March 2016, the narrative had evolved significantly. Memo drafts, masterminded by Hunter Biden's business associates, Rob Walker and Gilliar, materialized, bearing Hunter Biden's signature and destined for CEFC. An email trail titled "H to Zang Draft" captured the essence of the strategic pact. This marked a pivotal moment, elevating the Biden family name as a sought-after commodity in the high-stakes world of energy acquisition.

The ensuing years, the Chinese energy deal had all the earmarks of a Biden influence peddling campaign, including (per JTN):

Ye would meet with Hunter Biden and gift him with a 3-carat diamond mto the future first son in February 2017.

Joe Biden also met with CEFC officials, according to an FBI interview report of Rob Walker made public by IRS whistleblowers in their testimony to Congress

Emails from Bobulinski would reference a deal involving “the big guy” and a possible 10 percent share of the deal for Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden would send a stinging message to a CEFC executive demanding payment in summer 2017, even suggesting that his father was standing beside him as he sent the angry message.

Hunter Biden would set up an office in Washington DC for the venture and ask that keys be made for his father, mother and uncle as well as one of the CEFC “emissaries” from China.

As JTN further notes, the CEFC relationship fell apart after Ye was placed under house arrest and Patrick Ho, one of the CEFC execs sent to the United States, was arrested by the FBI and convicted of bribery and money laundering.

Hunter, despite being paid a nearly $1 million legal retainer to help Ho's defense, was never accused of wrongdoing in that case.

The 2015-17 text messages between Hunter Biden and his partners, which have received little public scrutiny, outline the earliest overtures from CEFC and give the clearest indication of what China hoped to gain from the Biden association: both "influence" and a trusted family name that would lend credence to China’s ambitions to enter the U.S. energy market and buy both American and Western energy assets without creating suspicion. -JTN

"Still closing the perimeters of ops with the Chinese, will know Thursday if we are driving U.S. investments," Gilliar texted Bobulinski in May 2016 via an encrypted messaging app, suggessting things might be "still a little premature."

"You got anyone big in oil?" asked Gilliar. "We will participate in a big purchase of upstream assets in Europe? Bargain. Sorry downstream, not awake."

Meanwhile, other potential Biden-linked deals intersected with CEFC, including one that involved a Romanian businessman, Gabriel Popoviciu.

"I brought him to h," Gilliar texted Bobulinski on May 20, 2017, referring to Hunter Biden.

"Chinese will do quick to finance relationship with b," he continued, referring to the Biden family initial. "There are several angles to discuss face to face."

And what was an underlying theme? That the Biden name was used to peddle influence to the Chinese and other foreigners.

"What is the deal in Romania and how does the B influence relative there," reads one message.

"B influence will mean Zang does deal," was the reply.

In a Thursday statement to Just the News, Bobulinski said: "I want to thank all the recent witnesses who have been willing to come out on record and tell the truth about Biden family corruption. I would encourage the American people to go back and review all the facts I detailed in 2020."

"Joe Biden IS the Big Guy! CEFC, Chairman Ye and Director Zang were 100% focused, starting in 2015 while Joe was VP, on leveraging Joe Biden and the power his position and name wielded around the world to benefit the CCP and China. Focus on the facts."

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visiting several Singapore attractions on Monday night

SINGAPORE - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is spending his second night in Singapore on a mini tour that includes some of the Republic's best-known sights such as Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) integrated resorts.

At around 9.10pm on Monday (June 11), his motorcade was seen leaving the St Regis Hotel in the Tanglin area where his delegation is being housed at, before driving past the Raffles City area towards Marina Bay.

Mr Kim, who arrived in Singapore on Sunday ahead of his historic summit with United States President Donald Trump in Sentosa on Tuesday, stopped by Gardens by the Bay first and is expected to also visit the MBS SkyPark or the nearby Merlion Park.

At around 8pm, the observation deck of the 57th-storey sky park at the MBS, which offers panoramic views of Marina Bay and the central business district, was closed off to the public, ahead of its usual 10pm timing.

MBS staff were seen polishing fingerprints off the glass panels of the observation deck. The Straits Times also saw a heavy security presence comprising MBS personnel and police officers.

Mr Kim, who is North Korea's Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, may also visit other sights such as the Esplanade performing arts centre.

The mini-city tour will cap a rather quiet public schedule for Mr Kim on Monday, compared to his officials and Mr Trump.

Apart from a meeting with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on Sunday evening, Mr Kim has not been seen stepping out of the St Regis hotel in Orchard Road where he and his delegation are being housed at.

In contrast, Mr Kim's officials were seen earlier on Monday meeting with Singapore and American officials - making courtesy calls or engaging in last-minute talks over the one-day summit.

Mr Trump met PM Lee and also members of the American community in Singapore.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visiting several Singapore attractions on Monday night

SINGAPORE - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is spending his second night in Singapore on a mini tour that includes some of the Republic's best-known sights such as Gardens by the Bay and the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) integrated resorts.

At around 9.10pm on Monday (June 11), his motorcade was seen leaving the St Regis Hotel in the Tanglin area where his delegation is being housed at, before driving past the Raffles City area towards Marina Bay.

Mr Kim, who arrived in Singapore on Sunday ahead of his historic summit with United States President Donald Trump in Sentosa on Tuesday, stopped by Gardens by the Bay first and is expected to also visit the MBS SkyPark or the nearby Merlion Park.

At around 8pm, the observation deck of the 57th-storey sky park at the MBS, which offers panoramic views of Marina Bay and the central business district, was closed off to the public, ahead of its usual 10pm timing.

MBS staff were seen polishing fingerprints off the glass panels of the observation deck. The Straits Times also saw a heavy security presence comprising MBS personnel and police officers.

Mr Kim, who is North Korea's Chairman of the State Affairs Commission, may also visit other sights such as the Esplanade performing arts centre.

The mini-city tour will cap a rather quiet public schedule for Mr Kim on Monday, compared to his officials and Mr Trump.

Apart from a meeting with Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana on Sunday evening, Mr Kim has not been seen stepping out of the St Regis hotel in Orchard Road where he and his delegation are being housed at.

In contrast, Mr Kim's officials were seen earlier on Monday meeting with Singapore and American officials - making courtesy calls or engaging in last-minute talks over the one-day summit.

Mr Trump met PM Lee and also members of the American community in Singapore.
