Started digging on Gina Haspel, here is where I ended up. Hope you find it interesting/informative.

Notes on the graphic:

A critical link here is Rasmussen, who is a fellow at the McCain Institute, was director of the NCTC.

The DNI document essentially outlines that the NCTC has the ability to access NSA information.

This likely allowed No Name to receive the document through his contact, Rasmussen, at the NCTC.

This eventually leads to Hussein, Comey, Clapper, etc. to find out about the dossier and use it against POTUS.

The other critical piece is the relationship between Gina Haspel and MI6.

Christopher Steele happened to be a British spy and was known as a Russian expert.

Coincidentally, Haspel was also seen as a Russian expert and close ally of MI6, having been the CIA London Station Chief from 2014-2017.

Blinken Says "Too Early" For Russia Sanctions As Hope For Unified NATO Response Unravels

The United States says it's putting together a "global strategy" to increase gas production among allies in the scenario of a Russian invasion of Ukraine. "The State Department, led by Senior Adviser for Energy Security Amos Hochstein, has in the last six to eight weeks been putting together a global strategy exploring contingency options to redirect and increase gas supplies from different parts of the world, a senior US official said," CNN reports Sunday. This has included talks with firms in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

At the same time, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken explained during Sunday news talk show appearances that at this point it's "too early" to impose sanctions on Russia, despite the current atmosphere of building war rhetoric. He still threatened "massive consequences" for any Russian offensive, yet stressed that US is still leaving the door open for diplomacy. An eventual diplomatic resolution to the crisis is looking more and more likely given the lack of a unified NATO willingness to escalate to the level of armed conflict, particularly given Germany's breaking with other allies of the last few days, including its refusal to send Kiev German arms. Thus it seems "all options" are not on the table just yet…

Blinken told CNN's State of the Union program that "The purpose of those sanctions is to deter Russian aggression and so if they're triggered now you lose the deterrent effect." In a separate CBS interview he was asked about UK government accusations that the Kremlin is plotting a coup in Ukraine, aimed at installing a new pro-Moscow leader. Despite Russia's denials slamming the charge as "dangerous" and "disinformation", Blinken agreed with the narrative being put out by Britain, calling the sensational allegations "part of the Russian playbook".

It still remains that as usual the mainstream media's hyping a looming war appears prematurely far out front in terms of the reality of where things really stand. On this point, Blinken said to CBS: "There is a path of diplomacy and dialogue, which is clearly the preferable one, the most responsible thing to do. There's also the path of Russian aggression and massive consequences for Russia if it engages in that aggression."

He added of last week's and the upcoming days of dialogue with Russia: "And so I tried to make clear both paths in my meeting with Foreign Minister Lavrov in Geneva this week, and we'll see if we can advance the diplomacy."

But again, given that it's increasingly apparent that NATO is struggling to put together a unified front in response to Russia security demands, it's looking like Blinken will have no choice but to begin negotiating with the Kremlin while taking its position much more seriously…

Blinken is opting to stress the path of diplomacy more and more this weekend…

Without doubt the situation is still highly dangerous, and ripe to unravel in the instance of a single provocation or mishap along the Russia-Ukraine border. The longer that dialogue and negotiations stall, the more the door is open for both sides to tumble into a shooting war.

State Department Issues Level 4 Travel Warnings For Russia And Ukraine

The U.S. federal government on Sunday ordered diplomats’ families to evacuate the U.S. embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine, amid ongoing fears of Russian military action in the country.

The State Department also issued a “Level 4 – DO NOT TRAVEL” advisory for both Ukraine and Russia.

“U.S. citizens in Ukraine should be aware that Russian military action anywhere in Ukraine would severely impact the U.S. Embassy’s ability to provide consular services, including assistance to U.S. citizens in departing Ukraine,” the State Department said in the first travel advisory.

The Russia advisory said, “Do not travel to Russia due to ongoing tension along the border with Ukraine, the potential for harassment against U.S. citizens, the embassy’s limited ability to assist U.S. citizens in Russia, COVID-19 and related entry restrictions, terrorism, harassment by Russian government security officials, and the arbitrary enforcement of local law.”

“Due to Russia’s heightened military presence and ongoing military exercises along the border region with Ukraine,” the alert continued, “U.S. citizens located in or considering travel to the districts of the Russian Federation immediately bordering Ukraine should be aware that the situation along the border is unpredictable and there is heightened tension. Given the on-going volatility of the situation, U.S. citizens are strongly advised against traveling by land from Russia to Ukraine through this region. In addition, there is the potential throughout Russia of harassment towards foreigners, including through regulations targeted specifically against foreigners.”

Newt Gingrich says that January 6 committee members “face a real risk of jail” should Republicans take over the House after the 2022 election.

Appearing on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo, Gingrich expanded on an op-ed he wrote for Newsweek earlier this week titled “The Wolves Will Become Sheep,” in which he argued that January 6 committee members will have the tables turned on them if the GOP should gain control of Congress.

“You have — both with Attorney General [Merrick] Garland and with this select committee on January 6, people who have run amok,” Gingrich argued. He added, “What they need to understand is on January 4 next year, you’re going to have a Republican majority in the House and a Republican majority in the Senate. And all these people who have been so tough, and so mean, and so nasty are going to be delivered subpoenas for every document, every conversation, every tweet, every e-mail.”

Gingrich went on to blast Garland and the Jan. 6 committee as a “lynch mob.” He warned that Republicans may look to imprison their political opponents next January — arguing that their inquiry is breaking the law by “running over peoples’ civil liberties.”

“I think when you have a Republican Congress, this is all going to come crashing down,” Gingrich said. “And the wolves are going to find out that they’re now sheep and they’re the ones who are in fact, I think, face a real risk of jail for the kinds of laws they’re breaking.”

So when the noise of two small planes flying high overhead broke the peaceful dawn one summer morning in 2020, puzzled residents soon realised something was afoot.

Dick Morris, a carpenter, first heard a buzzing noise at 5am. 'At first I thought it was a paraplane — basically an engine with a seat and parachute, which is common around here. You hear one for ten minutes and it's gone. But this went on and on.

'I went out to load my truck at 7am and the plane was still going. I thought, 'What the heck is this guy doing? Then I noticed another high-altitude plane, so there were two buzzing round and round.'

Another local came across a queue of 15 vehicles stationary in the main road, and demanded to know who the drivers were and what they were doing. He was told they were from the New England Aerial Map Society. Unfortunately for those who were trying to hide their identities that July morning, the man was an expert on geology and maps — and he knew the New England Aerial Map Society didn't exist.

Becoming very suspicious, he asked to look inside one of the vans but was brusquely told it was off-limits. At this point, seriously alarmed, he asked his wife to call the police.

By now, most of the town was awake, trading all kinds of theories about the sudden influx of strangers. No one, however, guessed the truth: that the convoy was gearing up to raid the well-hidden lair of Ghislaine Maxwell, former girlfriend and confidante of billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, while FBI spotter planes hovered above in case she tried to escape.

The leak, some 400 gigabytes of data published first on Friday by Unicorn Riot—a nonprofit media outlet that covers far-right, white supremacist, and neo-Nazi organizations, among other topics—offers an unprecedented look at the rewards and reckonings of Rousseau’s master plan. The many thousands of pages of internal conversations, which originated on internal Rocket.Chat boards for prospective recruits and members, depict a group highly focused on the recruitment of ardent nationalists and segregationists, and of Hitler-worshiping fascists who’ve grown tired of concealing fantasies of enacting his Final Solution.

The internal communications further reveal an organization that, despite having been publicly accused repeatedly in the commission of crimes across the country—namely, the defacement and destruction of public works of art that confront and illuminate racial and social inequality—has simply continued unabated, routinely planning and executing what are essentially hate crimes, in spirit if not under the law, while facing virtually no personal or legal consequences.

Former Arkansas Professor Pleads Guilty to Lying About China Patents

A former professor at the University of Arkansas pleaded guilty on Jan. 21 to one count of making a false statement to the FBI about patents for his inventions in China.

Simon Saw-Teong Ang, 64, of Fayetteville, had 24 patents filed in China under his name or Chinese birth name, listing him as one of the co-inventors, according to court documents (pdf).

Despite a university requirement to disclose all inventions and patents, the Malaysian-born former professor, who is an American citizen, didn’t disclose them. When questioned by the FBI whether his name would be listed as the inventor of numerous patents in China, he denied being the inventor.

“Yeah, I am not the inventor. I don’t even know what that is,” he told FBI special agent Jonathan Willett.

Under University of Arkansas policy, it would own all inventions created by those subject to the policy.

Separately, Ang also didn’t disclose to the university—on conflict of interest disclosure forms—that he had received numerous talent awards from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the Department of Justice (DOJ) noted.

Ang entered a guilty plea to a single count in a superseding indictment, which charged him with making a materially false and fictitious statement and representation to an FBI special agent, the department announced.

His sentencing is expected in about four months. He faces a maximum of five years in prison. However, the plea agreement also states that if the court seeks to sentence Ang to less than a year and a day in federal prison, he’ll have the right to withdraw from the plea agreement.

Separately, Ang was arrested in May 2020 on wire fraud charges over his alleged ties to the Chinese regime. Ang, who had joined the University of Arkansas in 1998, was the director of the university’s High Density Electronics Center at the time of his arrest. He was suspended without pay shortly after his arrest and fired less than two months later.

Russia responds to British ‘coup’ allegations

The Russian Foreign Ministry has dismissed a claim by the UK government that Moscow is plotting to install a puppet government in Kiev, calling on London’s Foreign Office to stop spreading “nonsense” and “disinformation.”

The UK government sent a press release to media outlets on Saturday titled “Kremlin plan to install pro-Russian leadership in Ukraine exposed.” As previously reported by RT, it accused Moscow of seeking to install a more friendly government in Kiev as part of a supposed plan to “invade and occupy Ukraine.”

British media outlets, including the BBC and the Financial Times, dutifully published the allegations in the middle of the night, adhering to the advised embargo. Only a handful of news outlets expressed some skepticism over the claims. The Guardian acknowledged some “confusion” as the claim “comes with scant detail,” while the AP conceded it was “unclear what means Britain believes Russia might use.”Despite the lack of evidence, the UK’s claims were almost immediately boosted by Washington, with a spokesperson for the White House’s National Security Council, Emily Horne, saying “this kind of plotting is deeply concerning.”

Russia’s Foreign Ministry soon responded to the allegations with a statement of its own, shooting back at the UK government by accusing it of intentionally escalating tensions in Ukraine.

There are three Elon Musks. Two of them you likely know. The third Musk is a new and chilling development.

The first Musk is the persona he wants to project: a swashbuckling inventor, explorer, and "Person of the Year" who is trying to provide solutions to the existential problems facing humanity.

The second is the petulant Musk who regularly gets into public fights with politicians and ignores calls from regulators. The name-caller who accused a stranger of being a "pedo guy" and called a Wall Street analyst who covered his stock a bonehead. The one who won't acknowledge critical safety issues with his cars, and refused to shut down his California factory during the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.

The third Musk is perhaps the least known, but also the most nefarious. This version of Musk only appears in China. He is compliant, complimentary, and deferential to lawmakers and regulators there. His company is responsive to customers and stories in the media. This Musk had no problem shutting down Tesla's Shanghai factory at the start of the pandemic. And he had no problem opening a Tesla showroom in a region of the country where the government is committing genocide.

It's important to grapple with this third Musk because relations between the US and China are at their lowest point in decades. China has turned even further toward autocracy under President Xi Jinping. And like all autocrats, Xi needs friendly relationships with high-profile foreigners to assure the world that all is well. This third Musk has become a tool to whitewash the regime's crimes against humanity — and given his stature, that is particularly worrisome.

The New York Times reports that Joe Biden is weighing deploying THOUSANDS of US troops to Ukraine.

Biden is also considering sending US warships and aircraft to NATO allies.

The US State Department added: There are reports Russia is planning significant military action against Ukraine. Putin has ramped up his threatening actions toward Ukraine, and talks between American and Russian officials have failed to discourage him, the administration is now moving away from its do-not-provoke strategy.

In a meeting on Saturday at Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland, senior Pentagon officials presented Mr. Biden with several options that would shift American military assets much closer to Mr. Putin’s doorstep, the administration officials said. The options include sending 1,000 to 5,000 troops to Eastern European countries, with the potential to increase that number tenfold if things deteriorate.

The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity.

First there was Tether; the controversial dollar-backed cryptocurrency that so many of the US establishment are fearmongering about. Then the Chinese launched a gold-backed, yuan-denominated oil futures contract. After that came Petro, the industry's first oil-backed crypto issued by the Venezuelan government. And now we might be about to see the first gold-backed cryptocurrency - by a central bank, no less.

As Putin advisor Sergey Glazyev has said in the past, "the ruble is the most gold-backed currency in the world," and judging by reports from the RIA Novosti news agency tonight, the days of a digital, gold-backed-Ruble could be getting closer.

But first, some background of just how Russia's dollar-gold-crypto thinking has evolved over the past few years…

In May 2018, Russia began to accelerate its de-dollarization strategy by dumping a record amount of US Treasuries from its reserves.

Also in May 2018, the Central Bank of Russia released a report May 30, stating that crypto assets do not currently threaten global financial stability as the global volume of crypto transactions is very low.

According to the report, crypto assets do not pose a risk to global financial stability, because at present the volume of crypto asset transactions is very low compared to the scale of the global financial system. The relation of this segment to the financial system is insignificant, according to the report.

But, the paper states that crypto assets could constitute a risk to financial stability in the case of further market growth, large-scale involvement of retail and institutional investors, banks, and other market players. According the the central bank’s report, the high price volatility of crypto assets prevents them from being a reliable standard of value, means of exchange, and store of value.

In June 2018, Russia announced plans to double its gold-mining production.

While Russia is currently the world's third biggest gold miner after Australia and China, that could change in less than a decade, according to Mikhail Leskov, deputy CEO at the Moscow-based Institute of Geotechnology, as quoted by Vedomosti. This would make Russia the world's second largest producer of the precious metal.

In March 2021, the Russian Finance Ministry gave the green light for the Russian National Wealth fund to diversify and invest in gold and other precious metals.

According to a report by RT, this is part of a broader move to de-dollarize the wealth fund.

Washington’s top lobbying firms reported record lobbying revenues in 2021, and perhaps no one benefited more than lobbying shops with ties to President Joe Biden and his administration.

At Putala Strategies, a firm run by Chris Putala, a former aide to Biden from his time on the Senate Judiciary Committee, annual lobbying revenues soared from $1.3 million in 2020 to $4 million in 2021 — an increase of more than 200 percent — according to a review of lobbying disclosures.

Putala signed more than a dozen new clients in 2021, including the powerful drug lobby the Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America and the company behind the KeystoneXL pipeline, both of which were fighting unfavorable policy proposals from Biden. That’s nearly as many as the one-man firm signed in the entire decade prior. (Putala signed no new clients between 2016 and 2020, when his former boss was no longer in office, according to lobbying disclosures.)

Lobbying disclosures show that throughout the year, Putala lobbied the White House or the Executive Office of the President on behalf of several prominent corporate clients including T-Mobile and Comcast. What else are they hiding?

According to Table 14 of this week’s “Public Health Scotland COVID-19 & Winter Statistical Report,” which shows the rate of infection over the past 4 weeks, the double/triple vaxxed are more likely to catch the virus, checking in at a rate of 865.79 per 100,000 and 481.49 per 100,000, respectively.

In comparison, the unjabbed case rate is just 412.77 per 100,000.

As for the hospitalizations and deaths among the vaccinated, the data isn’t much better.

What the PHS report makes clear is that the twice-jabbed are experiencing a higher rate of severe illness than anyone else, and, concerningly, the difference has only been getting worse as time continues.

ONDON, Jan 21 (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - When Timothy LeDuc takes to the ice in Beijing as the first openly non-binary Winter Olympian, the figure skater aims to challenge gender stereotypes and pave the way for other athletes who feel neither male nor female.

The American, who uses they/them pronouns, wants to nix traditional notions that all skating duos tell "Romeo and Juliet" stories, and instead present a show of equality and strength with Olympic partner Ashley Cain-Gribble, 26.

"My hope is now being openly non-binary and being outspoken about this, maybe it will make a path for other non-binary and queer athletes that come into pairs in ice dance," LeDuc, 31, said in a video interview with the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

A record number of openly LGBT+ athletes will compete at the Winter Olympics, according to LGBT+ news site Outsports, following the record set at 2021's Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Tokyo also saw the first openly transgender and non-binary Olympians, including Canadian footballer Quinn, who uses one name, and U.S. skateboarder Alana Smith, who was misgendered by broadcasters using the wrong pronouns.

"I'm not too worried about people's perception of me or people misgendering me," LeDuc said.

"I hope that, you know, me being open and authentic helps to move that conversation forward and help people understand more that people can … be amazing athletes and still exist outside of the binary."

The closeness between LeDuc and Cain-Gribble was apparent even though they conducted the interview from separate locations, enjoying a period of rest after winning their second U.S. national championships this month.

Biden’s role at Burisma Holdings Ltd has come under intense scrutiny following unsupported accusations by U.S. President Donald Trump that Joe Biden improperly tried to help his son’s business interests in Ukraine.

Interviews with more than a dozen people, including executives and former prosecutors in Ukraine, paint a picture of a director who provided advice on legal issues, corporate finance and strategy during a five-year term on the board, which ended in April of this year.

Biden never visited Ukraine for company business during that time, according to three of the people.

They also said that his presence on the board didn’t protect the company from its most serious challenge: a series of criminal investigations launched by Ukrainian authorities against its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, a multimillionaire former minister of ecology and natural resources. The allegations concern tax violations, money-laundering and licences given to Burisma during the period where Zlochevsky was a minister.

Revelations in a whistleblower complaint that Trump and his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, pressed the Ukrainians to pursue investigations into Burisma and the role of Hunter Biden have sparked an impeachment inquiry by Democrats in the House of Representatives. Burisma, a private oil and gas company in Ukraine, announced this week that it has appointed Hunter Biden, the youngest son of US Vice President Joe Biden, to its board of directors.

The company, founded in 2002, is controlled by a former energy official in the government of deposed Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych.

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) has implemented even stricter mask rules for schoolchildren, now requiring students to wear a surgical or other high-grade face covering instead of a cloth mask.
