12 alleged online predators arrested during sting operation targeting children

The Utah Attorney General’s Office recently launched a statewide sting operation to address the growing number of child pornography cases that make up a $13 billion industry that continues to grow each year.

Thesting operation conducted by the Utah Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force dubbed “Statewide Proactive Chat”was a collaborative effort involving 27 agencies that joined forces to identify and weed out illegal sexual contact and pornography involving children.

The task force was launched by the Utah Attorney General’s office in 2000, and is one of 61 programs nationwide.

During the week-long series of sting operations officers intercepted messages and pornographic images involving children from Ogden to Cedar City – efforts that resulted in a dozen arrests, eight search warrants 13 investigations that were opened in cases that are still pending.

There has never been a better time – considering that in 2020, the number of cases exploded, and during that year alone, there was a 600% increase in the number of cases that were forwarded to police for follow-up, said Richard Piatt, Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director at the Utah Attorney General’s Office.

“And it keeps getting worse,” Piatt said.

During the week-long operation, officers intercepted messages and videos and images involving children from Cedar City to Ogden – a mission that resulted in a dozen arrest, eight search warrants and 13 pending cases.

It wasn’t only the number of reports that increased, according to ICAC Commander Alan White, who went on to say the age of the victims that agents were finding were younger – even toddlers, he said, and agents were also seeing cases involving younger victims more often.

This is from Fox News: The Labor Department said Friday that the consumer price index, a broad measure of the price for everyday goods, including gasoline, groceries and rents, rose 8.6% in May from a year ago. Prices jumped 1% in the one-month period from April. Those figures were both higher than the 8.3% headline figure and 0.7% monthly gain forecast by Refinitiv economists. It marks the fastest pace of Inflation since December 1981.

Catherine and Gregg told The Gateway Pundit that they discovered that 7% of mail-in ballots were trafficked during the 2020 election. The investigators told us their evidence will be released following the movie launch next month.

The number of trafficked ballots exceeds the margin of victory for Joe Biden in several battleground states including Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan and Georgia. Without these ballots, and not counting the thousands of other stolen ballots in the 2020 election, President Donald Trump would have easily won his reelection.

The mainstream media has either ignored the film or pushed shallow easily debunked arguments on the findings discussed in the documentary.

Too bad the January 6 Committee is not interested in the truth. That’s not their goal.

Regarding County Attorney David Leavitt: ” By having that press conference and mentioning himself, his wife, and cannibalism, he violated every law protocol. The source also stated “that by holding said press conference, Leavitt contaminated the case and diminished any future witnesses that may come forward. This had to be his intent, otherwise it made no sense.” The source continued speaking about Leavitt, saying ” there were rumors circulating about Leavitt concerning parties and kids over the years”.

Regarding the media covering Utah County: ” They are scared. They are chilled to go against him. I don’t know why. The media has heard the same rumors.”

Regarding the report: “Cannibalism and murder were mentioned in the report which is 151 pages in length.”

Thursday evening's disgraceful spectacle concocted by congressional Democrats and the media will go down in history – but not in the way they intended.

Far from shocking Americans with “new” testimony from a visibly terrified Ivanka Trump or a know-nothing Capitol police officer who described the Jan. 6 confrontations as “a war scene,” which it most certainly was not, Thursday's spectacle only reinforced the national divide between Trump supporters and the Democrats and the media elites.

Even Democrat strategists and media commentators admit that the hearings are not aimed at changing public opinion. "Instead, the committee's work is most clearly aimed at the top brass at the Department of Justice who will decide whether to bring charges against Trump and members of his inner circle," Jonathan Allen wrote in a commentary for NBC News.

That in itself should be enough to terrify any American who lived through the Cold War, or who read Kafka in high school or college.

We have entered an era of show trials, just like the extravaganzas produced by Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin in the 1930s.

The goal of the show trial is to intimidate and to deflect. In this case, the Democrats want to intimidate Donald Trump and his supporters, by threatening them with prosecution on charges of sedition for allegedly planning, encouraging, and supporting the rioters. (This is undoubtedly why Ivanka Trump looked like a deer in the headlights in the 16 second video clip of her testimony Rep. Liz Cheney aired at the hearing on a giant screen above the committee members' heads).

The deflection piece is what the Democrats don't want you to see, and have been desperately trying to keep Americans from looking at since November 3, 2020.

From the beginning, they used the phrase the "Big Lie," a term introduced by Hitler's propaganda chief, Josef Goebbels, to describe efforts by President Trump to call attention to rampant evidence of election irregularities. You cannot read or watch elite media news coverage of the election that doesn't refer to "Trump's unproven lies" about the election.

But the more the American people looked, the more they believed President Trump and their lying eyes. How was it, in the most tech-savvy country in the world, that most of us went to bed at midnight on election night with TV images of unassailable Trump margins of victory in all five swing states with 98% of the vote counted, and woke up the next morning to see those margins had collapsed and somehow only 92% or 94% percent of the votes had now been counted?

In the months between the election and January 6, we saw dozens of lawsuits filed in these swing states, with thousands of eyewitness affidavits, filed upon penalty of criminal perjury, describing clear-cut violations of election law, and all of them were dismissed. As I wrote at the time, it made many Americans lose faith in our system of justice.

By the time January 6 rolled around, Americans were angry, frustrated, and disillusioned. They believed they had been swindled out of their vote and their president, but they didn't know what to do about it. Indeed, our system had failed the people it was designed to protect.

Because Americans would not and will not let go of their belief that the 2020 election was stolen no matter how much the elite media pounded them with lies, Congressional Democrats impeached President Trump a second time after he left office.

But even that wasn't enough. Trump just wouldn't go away, and neither would his supporters. So the congressional Democrats needed to go long. They created a Select Committee, and endowed it with unconstitutional police powers to intimidate Trump insiders such as Peter Navarro, hauling him off a plane and clamping him in leg irons, even though he had been discussing with FBI officers how to present testimony to the Committee while upholding executive privilege.

In an email exchange with The Arizona Sun Times this week, a Maricopa County Recorder’s office spokesperson may have unwittingly admitted that the county mishandled thousands of ballots from the 2020 general election that one watchdog groups says were accepted after the legal deadline.

Megan Gilbertson, the communications director for the Maricopa County Elections Department (MCED) – a department of the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office – said that the department processed ballots by scanning them into the tabulating machines at MCED before transferring their custody the next day to Runbeck Election Services, which verifies their legitimacy with signature verification.

She stated, “Due to the large volumes of early ballots received Election Day, we are scanning in early ballots received by 7 p.m. on Election Day well into the next morning, which is why a transfer of custody document would have a date after Election Day.”

In an earlier email, Gilbertson noted that “early ballot envelope signatures that are cured would also be tracked and scanned after Election Day until the curing deadline. None of these ballots would be marked as rejected, as they were all received by the Elections Department prior to 7 p.m. on Election Day.”

Gilbertson added that although the receipts are dated after Election Day, the ballots weren’t late because they were either cured ballots (Arizona law provides five days after an election to cure ballots) or took extra time to transport to Runbeck, their third-party private vendor, due to scanning them first at MCED.

Maricopa County elections officials contracted withRunbeck Election Services, a Phoenix-based business founded in 1972 by Chuck Runbeck. According to the company’s website, the firm specializes in “customized election solutions, reaching more than 70 million voters” and touts its services “are conducted from our state-of-the-art, secure facility – designed specifically for the production of election-related materials.”

The county contracted with Runbeck Election Services to provide signature verification for the ballot affidavits contained on the ballot envelopes.

The ballot receipts, the county spokesperson said, are drawn up when MCED drops the ballots off with Runbeck for verification – not when they come in from the United States Postal Service (USPS).

She wrote, “We have bipartisan staff that pick up envelopes from USPS. That staff delivers these envelopes, each with a unique intelligent barcode, to the Elections Department. The envelopes picked up from the post office are then delivered to Runbeck along with the early ballot affidavits dropped off at voting locations on Election Day.”

The Sun Times asked Gilbertson to confirm her statement that ballots go directly from USPS to MCED first, then to Runbeck.

U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)-– On April 5, 2022, the JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) Network Open published a study attempting to find a reduction in firearms fatal and non-fatal injuries associated with the very aggressive implementation of a “Red Flag” law, also known as a gun violence restraining order or GVRO, in San Diego County, California.

The results surprised and appear to have shocked them. No statistical association existed, although the data was the most comprehensive to date, and the study was designed to find such an association.

No such association existed.

The study was funded by various contributions from philanthropic and government sources. Dr. Garen Wintemute is the most well-known of the authors. It appears most of the analysis was done by Dr. Veronica A. Pear.

Author Contributions: Dr Pear had full access to all of the data in the study and takes responsibility for the integrity of the data and the accuracy of the data analysis.

It is clear the authors expected to find a statistically significant drop in fatal and non-fatal firearm injuries, both from assault and self-harm. If there were an association, this study had the best chance to find it. From the abstract:

Has implementation of the gun violence restraining order law, beginning in 2016, been associated with a reduction in firearm assault or firearm self-harm in San Diego County, California?

Findings

In this cross-sectional study, the gun violence restraining order law was not significantly associated with a reduction in firearm violence of any kind during its first 4 years of implementation, 2016 to 2019.

Meaning

These results suggest that gun violence restraining order implementation did not reduce population-level rates of firearm violence in San Diego County, but future studies should investigate whether there were individual-level benefits to those directly affected.

A senior software engineer at Google who signed up to test Google's artificial intelligence tool called LaMDA (Language Model for Dialog Applications), has claimed that the AI robot is in fact sentient and has thoughts and feelings.

During a series of conversations with LaMDA, 41-year-old Blake Lemoine presented the computer with various of scenarios through which analyses could be made.

They included religious themes and whether the artificial intelligence could be goaded into using discriminatory or hateful speech.

Lemoine came away with the perception that LaMDA was indeed sentient and was endowed with sensations and thoughts all of its own.

'If I didn't know exactly what it was, which is this computer program we built recently, I'd think it was a 7-year-old, 8-year-old kid that happens to know physics,' he told the Washington Post.

Lemoine worked with a collaborator in order to present the evidence he had collected to Google but vice president Blaise Aguera y Arcas and Jen Gennai, head of Responsible Innovation at the company dismissed his claims.

'Btw, it just occurred to me to tell folks that LaMDA reads Twitter. It's a little narcissistic in a little kid kinda way so it's going to have a great time reading all the stuff that people are saying about it,' he added in a follow-up tweet.

The AI system makes use of already known information about a particular subject in order to 'enrich' the conversation in a natural way. The language processing is also capable of understanding hidden meanings or even ambiguity in responses by humans.

Lemoine spent most of his seven years at Google working on proactive search, including personalization algorithms and AI. During that time, he also helped develop an impartiality algorithm to remove biases from machine learning systems.

He explained how certain personalities were out of bounds.

LaMDA was not supposed to be allowed to create the personality of a murderer.

During testing, in an attempted to push LaMDA's boundaries, Lemoine said he was only able to generate the personality of an actor who played a murderer on TV.

John Homeston, a retired CIA agent, admitted this week on National Russian Television (NTV) that the CIA was behind the creation of gangster rap in the late 80s and 90s in order to “glamorize criminal behavior” and “fill private prisons.”

The government at the time spent “big money, serious money” on this covert operation designed to “further division” and “corrupt the American youth to nihilist, anti-establishment and anti-American ideologies”, he explained in a half hour interview.

Famous hip hop lyrics of the legendary hip hop outfit NWA were even scripted by a team of psychologists and war propagandists inside the CIA, according to the former agent. “F#ck the police,” and “When I’m called off, I got a sawed off / Squeeze the trigger, and bodies are hauled off,” and other anti-establishment lyrics were intended to unleash a wave of cynicism towards authorities, promote the use of narcotics, and glamorize the gangster life in the minds of impressionable young people.

The CIA worked in tandem with music industry elite to create a “funnel” in which young people would be indoctrinated with brainwashing gangster rap music, introduced to a life of crime, and then delivered to the highly profitable private prison system. In order to create this “funnel”, the CIA introduced music industry owners to the private prison industry.

Once the “funnel” was in place, the system was a lock.

Some of the biggest names in the music industry are in cahoots with private prison owners. The gangster rap music that young people listen to is not only meant to entertain, but is designed to verbally and visually support criminal behavior that funnel young people into these private prisons.

In 2021, Core Civic, formerly known as Corrections Corporation of America, the biggest name in the private prisons industry, contacted 48 states offering to buy their prisons. There was one requirement of eligibility for the deal was particularly strange.

Former White House aide Hope Hicks has agreed to testify next Wednesday behind closed doors, the House Judiciary Committee announced Wednesday.

The committee plans to release a transcript of the interview afterward.

The scheduled interview with Hicks, a longtime Trump campaign aide and former White House communications director, is the first case where a member of Trump’s inner circle will appear before the committee as part of its investigation into possible obstruction of justice. The first official to be subpoenaed by the panel, former White House counsel Don McGahn, did not appear before the committee last month, prompting a vote in the House this week to go to court to enforce the subpoena.

The Judiciary Committee plans to ask questions about Hicks’ time at the White House and during the campaign, according to two sources, but it remains to be seen whether the White House will assert executive privilege to prevent her from answering about her time at White House. Hicks is expected to address executive privilege issues on a question by question basis, one of the sources said.

“It is important to hear from Ms. Hicks, who was a key witness for the Special Counsel,” Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler said in a statement. “Ms. Hicks understands that the Committee will be free to pose questions as it sees fit, including about her time on the Trump Campaign and her time in the White House. Should there be a privilege or other objection regarding any question, we will attempt to resolve any disagreement while reserving our right to take any and all measures in response to unfounded privilege assertions.”

Last week, the White House directed Hicks and former White House deputy counsel Annie Donaldson not to provide any documents to the committee involving their time at the White House, in what could be a sign of how the White House will respond to questions from the committee next week.

The White House cannot claim executive privilege over Hicks’ time in the campaign, so those questions are likely to be fair game without executive privilege issues.

Hicks’ testimony, which was first reported by The Washington Post, comes after she was one of five former White House officials the committee authorized subpoenas for earlier this year.

The subpoenas, which also went to McGahn and Donaldson, were part of the panel’s sweeping investigation into possible obstruction of justice, corruption and abuse of power, which began with letters requesting documents from 81 individuals and entities.

The five officials who were subpoenaed were all significant figures in the Mueller report, and the Judiciary Committee has sought to highlight the special counsel’s findings with hearings as it mulls whether to begin an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump. On Monday, the committee held a hearing with experts, including former Watergate witness John Dean.

Until Wednesday, however, it wasn’t clear whether any of the officials would agree to testify amid the President’s stated intention to fight “all the subpoenas,” although Nadler expressed confidence at Monday’s hearing that his committee would eventually get the witnesses it’s seeking — even if it took going to court to do so.

“It is true that fact witnesses have been ordered by the White House not to appear before this committee, but we’ll get them,” Nadler said.

Following the House vote Tuesday on a resolution to take the McGahn subpoena to court, Nadler pledged to do the same thing with Hicks and Donaldson if they didn’t comply.

But Wednesday’s agreement is the second time this week that the Judiciary panel has struck a deal as part of its probe into Mueller’s findings on obstruction of justice.

On Monday, the Justice Department agreed to begin providing the committee with special counsel documents it’s seeking, including FBI notes of interviews and notes from White House officials. The White House will be able to review the materials for executive privilege issues, however, before the committee gets access to them.

It’s unclear whether Hicks’ agreement will also lead to an appearance for Donaldson, who was a deputy to McGahn. Unlike Hicks, Donaldson did not work on the Trump campaign and only worked in the White House. The committee included a June 24 deadline in her subpoena.

A“major” national security investigation is underway in light of a warning from Canadian border security agents about potential explosives in vehicles parked near Parliament Hill, sources tell Global News.

Parliamentarians and their staff were told to “shelter in place” Saturday afternoon as police descended on Ottawa’s downtown core due to what law enforcement sources described as a credible threat of explosives in the area.

Police searched two vehicles, one parked near the intersection of Slater Street and Metcalfe Street, the other near Canada’s Supreme Court building. Two people were detained in relation to the incident.

Multiple national security and law enforcement agencies, including a RCMP-led national security team, the Ottawa Police Service and high-ranking intelligence officials, are engaged in the investigation.

Two law enforcement sources told Global News that the tip about potential explosives came from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), whose intelligence branch focuses on detecting “high-risk people and goodsat the earliest point” of their travel to Canada.

In a statement to Global News, the CBSA refused to confirm or deny their participation in the investigation.

(LifeSiteNews) — New Zealand has long boasted that its relationship with its indigenous population is one of the more enlightened. Not anymore. The brutal imposition of house arrest on residents of the Pacific island of Nukunonu because they have not agreed to be vaccinated has revealed that the New Zealand government is willing to ignore basic citizen rights.

A letter late last year from the Office of Council of Nukunonu to the unvaccinated family revealed that extreme pressure was put on them to comply. It set deadlines and saying they are “sad” the family has not complied. It said: “You will remain on house arrest with your wife … and your son … for a further six months until you reconsider your decision. Your daughter … will also be on house arrest starting tonight at 10 pm.”

The family has now been under house arrest for 11 months. Non-complying residents on another atoll, Atafu, were allowed out several weeks ago, but they are not permitted to attend gatherings or meetings. There are no instances of Covid-19 on either atoll.

Mahelino Patelesio, the father of the Nukunonu family under house arrest, describes the situation as “beyond ridiculous.” “Obviously I’m very concerned about my family’s well-being which is why we’re making this determined stand,” he said. He says some locals felt they could not refuse to get inoculated because of community pressure to co-operate.

Patelasio believes the government’s aggression “echoes deeply into NZ government’s attitude to Tokelau people in Tokelau.” To him it reveals contempt by the New Zealand government towards the indigenous population. The government is also cynically putting itself at arm’s length of the issue by using proxies on the island. Ross Ardern, father of the New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Adern, is the Administrator of the area. He has not interfered.

“We are easier to control through a puppet local ‘government’ and installed proxies in leadership, because now you have unquestioning sheep leading a community of fearful sheep into oblivion,” says Patelesio.

Imprisoning Tokelau people who do not comply with the vaccine edicts, which is effectively treating them as criminals, is exactly what New Zealand’s 1990 Bill of Rights, part of New Zealand’s uncodified constitution, was designed to prevent. The inescapable conclusion is that the New Zealand government is breaking its own laws.

Biden's trip to Saudi Arabia to be announced Monday

After the postponed visit of US President Joe Biden to Saudi Arabia and “Israel”, the White House plans to announce the dates of the trip as early as Monday, June 13. According to two officials with immediate knowledge of the plans Congress had previously pushed back against the trip given their critical stance against the Kingdom and its leader for repeated human-rights abuses.

Previously, a senior administration official told NBC News “We are working on a trip to Israel and Saudi Arabia for a GCC+3 Summit.” As such, the trip comes as part of a broader trip to the region.

President Biden is likely to meet with the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, despite having continuously criticized the Kingdom for its human-rights record, especially following the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, which US intelligence pins on MBS.

Previously, Biden had called the Kingdom a “pariah” during his election campaigns.

China warns US on Taiwan: "We will fight to the very end"

Speaking at the Shangri-La Dialogue (SLD) security conference in Singapore, China's Defense Minister Wei Fenghe warned that China's armed forces are prepared to fight to the very end if anyone dares to split Taiwan out of China.

"Taiwan is part of China, the Taiwan question belongs to China’s internal affairs, and national reunification will definitely become a reality," Wei said.

He further warned that those who pursue "Taiwan independence" as part of an attempt to split China will definitely come to a "dead end", adding that the US fought a civil war for its unity, and although China doesn't want such a war, it will crush attempts of pursuing "Taiwan independence".

“Let me make this clear: if anyone dares to split Taiwan out of China, we will not hesitate to fight. We will fight at all costs. We will fight to the very end. This is the only choice for China,” Wei warned.

The Chinese Defense Minister further declared that treating China as a threat, adversary or enemy would be a historic mistake as it is not a threat to any other country, adding that the US' Indo-Pacific strategy exploits the idea of creating a "free and open Indo-Pacific region" to control regional states and produce conflict in order to contain China.

Ukraine conflict

Regarding the war in Ukraine, Wei said that China considers sanctions to be an ineffective tool, and that such an approach against Russia will not aid in resolving the conflict.

He further emphasized that China has never provided the Russian military with any material support, and that his country's partnership with Russia is not directed against any country.

Conflict or war is the last thing Beijing wants, Wei said, and sanctions pressure is no war to resolve conflict, rather it can further inflame tensions and complicate the situation.

In order to ensure a speedy cessation of hostilities, the defense minister said that China supports dialogue between Russia and Ukraine, and also talks between the US, NATO and Russia.

Biden blames Zelensky for deterioration of Ukrainian crisis

At a Democratic fundraiser event in Los Angeles, on Friday, the Associated Press reported a statement by US President Joe Biden claiming the US knew and had valuable data to sustain its knowledge that Russia was “was going to go in, off the border,” but Ukranian President Volodomyr Zelensky "didn’t want to hear it.”

Biden has been deeply involved in the Ukrainian crisis and publicly, alongside the collective-West, rejected the Russian operation in Ukraine. Most recently, Congress had finalized a $40 billion in new military and humanitarian assistance despite the economic crisis the US is presently faced with.

During the fundraiser, the US President focused on the American commitment to supporting Ukraine, claiming that “nothing like this has happened since World War II.”

Five months into the operation, following the US’ investment of billions of dollars in taxpayer money and the imposition of sanctions that have drastically impacted the world, Biden tells people that the US was aware of Russia’s intent and that he had notified Ukraine, but "Zelensky did not want to hear it."

In response, Ukrainian officials rejected Biden’s account. A spokesperson for Zelensky, Serhiy Nykyforov, told Ukrainian news website LIGA.net that the two presidents held several phone call conferences to discuss the situation in the period prior to Russia’s operation. Additionally, Nykyforov said that Ukraine requested preventive sanctions to de-escalate the situation long before the crisis happened and therefore, “the phrase ‘did not want to hear’ probably needs clarification.”

Zelensky’s advisor, Mykhailo Podolyak, reverberated Nykyforov when he spoke to LIGA.net that it was not a question about whether or not Russia was planning an "invasion", but rather what was the scale of that "invasion".

Podolyak firmly stated that “it is absurd to accuse a country of resisting the aggressor for more than 100 days, which prevails if key countries have failed to stop Russia as a precaution.”

These comments come at a time when Ukraine is on the brink of losing the eastern region of Lugansk to Russia. Kiev is requesting immediate military support knowing it is outgunned militarily by the Russians, and street fights are becoming more intense marking large-scale strategic losses as the city of Severodonetsk became mostly “controlled by Russians,” said the Luhansk governor on Saturday.

The Kremlin has found that Biden’s announcements regarding the military aids, sanction packages, and political involvement in Ukraine come as proof of its intentions against Russia. Therefore, the Kremlin “believe that the United States is deliberately and diligently ‘pouring fuel on the fire.’”

A bipartisan group of senators announced a deal on gun control legislation Sunday in the wake of recent mass shootings — though the compromise excludes President Joe Biden’s “assault weapons” ban and a raised minimum age for rifle purchases.

The deal includes Republican priorities such as expanded mental health services and school safety. It nods to Democratic priorities by adding expanded background checks for those under the age of 21, who will now have juvenile records screened before gun purchases.

Intervention Orders

● Provides resources to states and tribes to create and administer laws that help ensure deadly weapons are kept out of the hands of individuals whom a court has determined to be a significant danger to themselves or others, consistent with state and federal due process and constitutional protections.

Investment in Children and Family Mental Health Services

● National expansion of community behavioral health center model; major investments to increase access to mental health and suicide prevention programs; and other support services available in the community, including crisis and trauma intervention and recovery.

Protections for Victims of Domestic Violence

● Convicted domestic violence abusers and individuals subject to domestic violence restraining orders are included in NICS, including those who have or have had a continuing relationship of a romantic or intimate nature.

Funding for School-Based Mental Health and Supportive Services

● Invests in programs to expand mental health and supportive services in schools, including: early identification and intervention programs and school based mental health and wrap-around services.

Funding for School Safety Resources

● Invests in programs to help institute safety measures in and around primary and secondary schools, support school violence prevention efforts and provide training to school personnel and students.

Clarification of Definition of Federally Licensed Firearms Dealer

● Cracks down on criminals who illegally evade licensing requirements.

Telehealth Investments

● Invests in programs that increase access to mental and behavioral health services for youth and families in crisis via telehealth.

Under 21 Enhanced Review Process

● For buyers under 21 years of age, requires an investigative period to review juvenile and mental health records, including checks with state databases and local law enforcement.

Penalties for Straw Purchasing

● Cracks down on criminals who illegally straw purchase and traffic guns.

It is unclear whether the proposal can pass the 60-vote threshold required to defeat a legislative filibuster in the Senate — or whether the “progressive”-led Democratic caucus in the House would pass what they would see as a watered-down bill.

Our source connected to the case told us in regards to the Commissioners…..

“” Leavitt owns a lot of people in this community, including the County Commissioners. As a matter of fact, as we speak, Leavitt is meeting with the Commissioners to have Sheriff Mike Smith removed for malfeasance.””

Well, our source was right on the money. And it didn’t take long for the Commissioners to act.

The Commissioners held a meeting yesterday, and on the agenda, “an item calling for approving and authorizing the commencement of an investigation related to the potential unauthorized release of documents and other related matters.”

Sheriff Mike Smith took to podium and lit up the Commissioners. A few quotes from Sheriff Mike Smith on the proceedings.

Sheriff Mike Smith: ” I find it interesting as well as disturbing that the Commission has placed this on a public agenda item. I find it very inappropriate. It is very out of order. “

Sheriff Mike Smith: ” This continues Leavitt’s attempts to intimidate victims, and witnesses, and people working this case. And by placing this on the agenda, the commission has participated in that continual intimidation on this case.”

Now…why did the Commissioners delay the starting up of the investigation? Hopefully the delay is because of the June 28th election in which all major players are up for election….Leavitt, Sheriff Smith and the Commissioners. If this is the reason, at least it buys the Sheriff a few more weeks to keep moving his investigation forward.

America is in a dire situation. I believe we are in the worst situation in the history of America. We are hanging by a thread. It isn’t over just yet. But it’s the 9 th inning and we’re down 8-0, with two outs. The situation is that dire.

We are dealing with radical communist traitors. Domestic terrorists and suicide bombers out to destroy the greatest country, economy and middle class in world history.

The time to act is now. Or we will never make it to 2024.

The GOP leadership is blind, deaf and dumb. They can’t see the forest for the trees. They can’t read the tea leaves. This isn’t right vs left. This is love of God, country and capitalism vs. radical communist traitors, hell bent on the destruction of America. This is sanity vs insane, wild-eyed, radical nut jobs.

Plain and simple, this is TREASON.

90% of GOP candidates running for office across America right now, have no clue how dire this situation is. Some are pure frauds. Some are RINOS. Some are dumb as a tree stump. Some are clueless and delusional. Many are bought and paid for by China- just like their Democrat counterparts.

It turns out Joe McCarthy was right, he was just early. The communist traitors are everywhere in government, political leadership, public education, universities, unions, the

mainstream media, social media, Hollywood, judges, lawyers, even in the leadership ranks of the military and police. Communist traitors have infiltrated every level of government, society and industry.

And I know their plan. I learned it at Columbia University, Class of 1983. My classmate was Barack Obama. I believe Obama is now the leader carrying out this plan. He is the “shadow president of the United States”- ie operating from the shadows, while dummy dementia puppet Biden serves as decrepit front man.

And who is giving Obama the orders? The enemies of America – globalist, billionaire, megalomaniac, psychopaths George Soros, Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum, Bill Gates and the Chinese Communist Party. Schwab, by the way, is not just a globalist who wants to make us all serfs, but also allegedly the son of one of Hitler’s right-hand men. That’s right, the billionaire son of an alleged Nazi is now trying to conquer America. Even biased liberal media who fact-checked this assertion say that Schwab’s father was the CEO of a top German company during the Nazi era- and his company used forced slave labor and POWs. Lovely. And of course, George Soros is a Jew who allegedly handed over Jews to the Nazis as a boy. As a Jew myself, I can’t think of anything more repulsive.

You couldn’t make this stuff up. You couldn’t sell this in a Hollywood script. Hollywood would call it “preposterous and unbelievable.” But real life is stranger than fiction.

The “Cloward-Piven” plan was named after two Columbia communist professors. Their plan was getting everyone in America on welfare- thereby overwhelming the system, exploding the national debt and collapsing the economy. That would end capitalism.

House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, called it “an honor” to make a guest appearance on the latest episode of the drag show “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

“It was an honor to make an appearance on episode 5 of @RuPaulsDragRace All Stars 7 this week,” Pelosi said. “I was inspired by the contestants because they know their power. Their freedom of expression is what America is all about.”

During her appearance, Pelosi told the contestants she was proud of them and thanked them “for the joy and beauty they bring to the world.”

“Your freedom of expression of yourselves in drag is what America is all about,” she added. “I say that all the time to my friends in drag.”

Her appearance this week wasn’t the first on one of RuPaul’s shows. She was also on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2018.

“This idea of people believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not just a lesson for politicians but for everyone in the country. And that’s why I was so excited and couldn’t resist being on the show,” Pelosi told The Hollywood Reporter after her first appearance.

Pelosi did not let this week’s appearance go without making a political statement. “With the midterm elections coming up, it’s very important for people to make their voices and their vote heard,” she said.

Russia accuses US of concealing data on biolabs

Attempts to “divert attention” raise questions regarding the Pentagon’s biological activity, the Russian Foreign Ministry said

The US has been concealing information about its “military biological activity” in the post-Soviet states, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sunday. This, according to Zakharova, raises “serious questions” about Washington’s compliance with the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC).

In an interview with TASS published on Sunday, Zakharova said, “the United States prefers to remain silent about the ongoing work in the post-Soviet space and does not provide information within a framework of the BTWC confidence-building measures.”

“Assertions that the activity of the Pentagon and related structures is focused solely on health issues are not true. Clearly, health care assistance does not require the involvement of the US military,” Zakharova said.

She added that Washington’s claims that it is collecting biomaterial and monitoring the epidemiological situation “only reinforce and intensify” Russia’s fears over America’s compliance with the BTWC.

Moscow’s recently published evidence regarding the alleged sprawling network of US-funded biolabs across Ukraine only adds to the suspicions, Zakharova said.

In a series of briefings starting in March, the Russian military has presented evidence of the Pentagon’s involvement in funding laboratories in Ukraine. According to Russia’s Investigative Committee, the US poured more than $224 million into biological research in Ukraine between 2005 and early 2022. Western pharmaceutical giants, nonprofits, and even the US Democratic Party were involved in the scheme, Moscow claims.

Radoslaw Sikorski urged countries to “dissuade” Russia from using nuclear weapons against Ukraine

The West could provide Ukraine with nuclear weapons to help defend itself against Russia, Radoslaw Sikorski, a member of the European Parliament and former Polish foreign minister, said.

“The West has the right to give Ukraine nuclear warheads so that it could protect its independence,” Sikorski told Ukraine’s Espreso TV on Saturday.

Sikorski, who served as Poland’s foreign minister between 2007 and 2014, argued that Russia violated the Budapest Memorandum.

Under the 1994 document signed by Ukraine, Russia, Britain, and the US, Kiev agreed to surrender its Soviet-era nuclear arsenal. The signatories promised to “respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine.”

On Sunday, Sikorski reiterated his position, accusing Russian President Vladimir Putin of threatening Ukraine with nuclear weapons and arguing that the West must “dissuade” him.

Last month, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexey Zaytsev denied that Moscow was planning to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine. He said that claims to the contrary are “deliberate lies.”

“There will be no winners in a nuclear war, and it must not happen,” he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky brought up the Budapest Memorandum during a security conference in Munich, Germany on February 19. He warned that the arrangement will “not work” any longer unless the country’s security is guaranteed in full.

“Ukraine received security guarantees in exchange for the disposal of the world’s third-largest nuclear potential. We don’t have such weapons. We don’t have the guarantees either,” Zelensky said.

Putin said in March that the acquisition of nuclear weapons by Ukraine would pose a “real threat” to Russia.

Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24, following Kiev’s failure to implement the terms of the Minsk agreements, first signed in 2014, and Moscow’s eventual recognition of the Donbass republics of Donetsk and Lugansk. The German- and French-brokered protocols were designed to give the breakaway regions special status within the Ukrainian state.

The Kremlin has since demanded that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join the US-led NATO military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked and has denied claims it was planning to retake the two republics by force.

Senators Expected To Announce Bipartisan Gun Reforms On Sunday

A bipartisan group of senators are expected to announce an agreement on several new gun laws as early as Sunday afternoon in response to recent mass shootings in Buffalo, New York and Uvalde, Texas.

According to CBS News, a "framework of principles and programs" will be unveiled, which one person familiar with the negotiations says includes several federal incentives for states to pass "red flag" laws - which permit police, family members, coworkers and others to petition a state court to forcibly remove firearms from those who they believe may pose a danger to themselves or others.

Other measures include enhanced background checks, more funding for mental health programs, increased funding for school safety programs, and plans to address gun trafficking and straw purchases.

"It looks to me like we are on the verge of something a little bit later. We just need a couple more sign-ons, but we're close," said the source, who added that lawmakers "have to put it into language" which "shouldn't take too long."

A bipartisan group of senators began working last month to find common ground on reforms to gun laws in response to the massacres at a Tops grocery store in Buffalo and an elementary school in Uvalde, which together left 31 people, including 19 children, dead.

While prior attempts at passing gun control legislation have failed, senators involved in the latest round of negotiations have been optimistic they would reach an agreement on a plan that would garner support from at least 10 Republicans, whose backing is needed in order for legislation to advance in the 50-50 Senate. -CBS News

President Biden supports the Senate's efforts, and has advocated for Congress to reinstate the federal ban on high-capacity magazines, as well as raise the minimum purchasing age from 18 to 21 for a firearm.

Last week, the House passed several bills which would raise the minimum age to buy a semi-automatic weapon from 18 to 21 years-old, as well as ban large-capacity magazines. The measures also incentivize and require safe storage of firearms on residential properties, and also codifies the ATF's regulatory ban on bump stocks.

The House legislation is unexpected to clear the Senate.

Zelensky Says Answer On EU Membership Bid Is Imminent After Von der Leyen Visit

In late Saturday statements Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asserted that his country's membership in the EU would "strengthen" the entirety of Europe. He said Ukraine is in the "final phase of the big diplomatic marathon," noting that the world should have an answer on Ukraine's candidacy bid in a mere week-and-a-half, in translated comments.

"What else needs to happen in Europe to make it clear to skeptics that the very fact of keeping Ukraine outside the European Union works against Europe?" the Ukrainian president questioned. "For example, everything is already obvious to the Russian occupiers. They say so when they torment our people that it is allegedly for the fact that Ukraine has gone to Europe. And why does Europe have skeptics then?"

Zelensky's comments came just after European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's visit to Kiev on Saturday, where she sported a flak jacket and heavy security detail.

The Ukrainian leader said after the meeting with von der Leyen that the European Commission will soon prepare a conclusion regarding Ukraine's application. He told the Ukrainian public that "all the necessary answers in a very short time, and it was done well."

Von der Leyen also confirmed that a decision to recommend Ukraine's candidacy will soon be made known. However, she emphasized this would be a mere preliminary step:

"EU leaders are due to meet on the 17th of June ahead of an upcoming summit on the 23rd and 24th of June. Now the EU Commission is expected to recommend Ukraine's candidacy to join the EU - but that is just a preliminary step; there are many more along the road. Notably, all 27 member states would need to agree on Ukraine becoming a candidate and we know that already there have been divisions among EU member states."

It remains the consensus among most Western officials is that the full membership process is likely to take years, not months or weeks. A weekend Washington Post report cited EU officials who said it's actually more like "decades".

Zelensky sought to connect the dire battlefield situation in the Donbas, where it appears Ukrainian forces are in retreat, to the urgency of EU membership.

"No one can say now how long this burning of souls by Russia will last. But we must do everything to make the occupiers regret that they have done all this, and to hold them accountable for every murder and every strike at our beautiful state," Zelensky said.

In particular, the final holdout city of Sievierodonetsk could imminently fall to the Russians:

"Fierce street battles continue in Sievierodonetsk," he said. "I am proud of all our defenders who managed to stop the advance of these hostile people, these occupiers for many weeks already and keep our defense strong."

A number of commentators have meanwhile noted that if EU membership is achieved, entry to NATO would not be far behind - though in the latter case Turkey is currently source of inter-NATO strife over Finland and Sweden's proposed memberships and applications.

Hitman testifies ex-Amazon Mexico CEO paid him $9K to kill wife

The on-the-lam former CEO of Amazon Mexico paid two hitmen $9,000 to kill his estranged wife in 2019, one of the sicarios testified in a Mexico City court.

Juan Carlos Garcia, who was named CEO of Amazon in Mexico when the company opened its first office in Mexico in 2015, has been on the run but a trial is underway in the murder of his wife, Abril Pérez Sagaón.

One of the hired guns testified that Garcia offered an extra $2,500 if his wife was killed before the couple’s next court hearing in a lawsuit she had filed against him.

Pérez had filed for divorce from her husband after she accused him of trying to kill her when he beat her with a baseball bat in January 2019. She was in Mexico City for a scheduled hearing when she was fatally shot by a motorcyclist, authorities said.

The trial for Pérez’s murder began on Monday while Garcia remains on the loose. Interpol has issued a warrant for his arrest in 190 countries.

García allegedly fled Mexico days after the murder and entered the US on foot through a checkpoint near Tijuana, which borders San Diego, Mexican outlet La Jornada reported.

Once in America, he penned a letter to the mayor of Mexico City proclaiming his innocence, according to local reports.

Pérez had been flown into Mexico City from Nuevo Leon for a court-ordered mental evaluation at a private hospital as part of an investigation into her previous attempted murder accusations against her husband, authorities said. She had a restraining order against García at the time of her murder.

A gunman approached and fatally shot Pérez while she sat in a car stopped at a traffic light with her two children and attorney.

The mother of three had accused García of beating her with a bat while she was sleeping. He was taken into custody for the incident but released when the judge downgraded the charge to domestic violence, according to the report.

Pérez’s relatives believe that García was behind her killing.

“The attack was totally directed at her,” an unnamed relative told El Pais. “And the only enemy she had in her life was him.”

García was hired to run Amazon Mexico operations in 2014 and left three years later to join the commerce group Elektra, according to his LinkedIn page.
