Congress demands answers from MTA about subway camera malfunctions during Brooklyn mass shooting

Congressional lawmakers want answers about why subway security cameras failed during the Brooklyn mass shooting spree that left 10 people with gunshot wounds and injured another 13 earlier this month.

Reps. Ritchie Torres (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.), chair of the Homeland Security committee, organized a bipartisan letter to Metropolitan Transportation Authority chairman Janno Lieber asking what the agency has done with the $50 million in federal security money over the past two years alone.

10 shot, 13 more injured as Brooklyn subway shooter in gas mask set off smoke bombs before opening fire; NYPD IDs person of interest »

“We urge you to be more transparent regarding how your agency uses Congressional funding to secure the subway system and its riders,” the lawmakers wrote.

The lawmakers pressed for details about why the cameras in the 36th St. station where suspect Frank James allegedly carried out the mass shooting — as well as the cameras at the 25th St. station, where investigators said he exited the subway — were not working correctly.

“How much funding has been allocated to the MTA’s camera system, including maintenance, installation, and updating of the cameras?” the lawmakers asked.

Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-N.Y.) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) also signed the letter, along with Rep. Garbarino (R-N.Y.) and several other members of Congress.

UK leader calls Putin a ‘crocodile’

Boris Johnson says Ukrainians can’t sit down and negotiate with the Russian leader

(They always use the most insane looking pictures of BoJo...kek)

Russian President Vladimir Putin is like a crocodile chewing on Ukraine’s leg, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson told reporters on Thursday, while traveling to India. He said that he didn’t see how Kiev could possibly negotiate with Russia, and added that the West would keep sending artillery and other weapons to Ukraine.

“It’s very hard to see how the Ukrainians can negotiate with Putin, given his manifest lack of good faith and his strategy, which is evident, to try to engulf and capture as much of Ukraine as he can and then perhaps to have some sort of negotiation from a position of strength – or even launch another assault on Kiev,” Johnson said.

“I really don’t see how the Ukrainians can easily sit down and come to some kind of accommodation. How can you negotiate with a crocodile when it’s got your leg in its jaws? That is the difficulty that the Ukrainians face.”

While he doesn’t see how Putin can be a “valid interlocutor,” Johnson said this was something for the Ukrainians to decide. Meanwhile, the UK and its NATO allies will continue to provide Kiev with money and weapons.

The consensus of G7 leaders on Ukraine is to “keep supplying them with the things they need to help them defend themselves, particularly with artillery,” Johnson said.

“This is turning into a conflict of heavy artillery exchanges and the UK is doing a lot to supply Soviet-era shells, in addition to the 150 armored vehicles we have announced,” the British PM added, presumably referring to the Stormer tracked vehicles armed with anti-aircraft missiles.

The US has offered Kiev a total of 90 towed howitzers, the first of which reportedly entered the country on Thursday.

According to Johnson, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has a “pretty maximalist position” on the Donbass, saying he “would actually like Russian forces to be expelled from their existing positions” in Donetsk and Lugansk. He is “not so maximalist” on Crimea, the peninsula that voted to rejoin Russia after the 2014 US-backed coup in Kiev.

Johnson spoke with reporters en route to India, where he aims to pressure Narendra Modi’s government into reducing military and economic ties with Moscow.

GOP leader Kevin McCarthy Caught In Secret Plot To Get Rid Of Trump

In the wake of the Capitol attack last year, Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy promised to get Donald Trump out of politics, believing he was to blame for inciting the riots on January 6.

In excerpts from an upcoming book quoted in a New York Times report Thursday, House Minority Leader McCarthy told Republican leaders, ‘I’ve had it with this guy,’

As reported by the book, backstabbing McCarthy expressed interest in pushing Trump to step down, but McCarthy’s spokesman Mark Bednar denied this, saying to the Times: ‘McCarthy never said he’d call Trump to say he should resign.’

Senate Republican leader McConnell focused on the Democrat-led impeachment of the then-president, the book says.

‘The Democrats are going to take care of the son of a b***h for us,’ two-faced McConnell told longtime advisers during a lunch in Kentucky on January 11, 2021, which was about the forthcoming impeachment vote in the House.

After the violence at the Capitol last January, top Republicans in Congress, primarily McCarthy, publicly affirmed their support for Trump.

In the weeks following the Jan. 6 riot, both Republicans were unwilling to engage Trump in an all-out fight, for fear that he and his supporters would retaliate.

‘I didn’t get to be leader by voting with five people in the conference,’ McConnell told a friend after seeing that there was not overwhelming Republican backing for Trump’s impeachment.

This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden and the Battle for America’s Future were written by two New York Times reporters, due out May 3.

Hundreds of lawmakers and government officials were interviewed for the upcoming book, which highlights the cracks in both parties ahead of the 2022 midterm elections and recounts the 2020 election and the first year of the Biden presidency.

Spineless McCarthy followed up some public rebukes of Trump by kissing his ass (because he knew he would lose his position if it were found out that he was on the side of the Democrats) four days after the violence. He told his GOP leadership team that he intended to discuss the impeachment resolution with Trump.

While he made it clear that it was unlikely Trump would follow his suggestions, he would say: ‘I think this will pass, and it would be my recommendation you should resign.’

Right after the violence, McCarthy, siding with the Democrats, said “The president bears responsibility,” and he demanded that Trump “accept his share of responsibility.” The backstabber said this despite it being widely known that Trump told the people at the rally at the Ellipse to protest “patriotically and peacefully” at the Capitol Building.

McCarthy’s just a piece of crap who really wanted Trump out of the White House while kissing his backside just so he could stay in power himself.

Dems swiftly moved to impeach Trump for the second time following the January 6 riot, claiming that the president’s words and actions sparked the protests.

The article of impeachment was passed by the House on January 13, 2021. 225 Democrats and 10 Republicans voted for it, with a final tally of 232 to 197. In the end, 4 Republicans abstained while the rest voted against impeachment.

A majority of Republicans still controlled the Senate, which voted against impeachment.

As a result, Nancy Pelosi took steps to form a House select committee to investigate the January 6 attack. Representative Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Representative Adam Kinzinger of Illinois are the two Republicans on the 9-member panel, both of whom voted to impeach Trump.

The Guardian reported about the piece of hippo dung, McCarthy, last August:

Some House and Senate Republican leaders stated in the charged moments immediately following the attack that Trump was squarely to blame, and amid blood and shattered glass at the US Capitol, some even considered his removal.

In the days after the attack, McCarthy, joined Democrats in condemning Trump and urging Congress to establish a fact-finding commission, having already called the former president and demanded he call off his rioters.

McCarthy at one stage even fact-checked the former president. “Some say the riots were caused by Antifa. There is absolutely no evidence of that,” he said on the House floor. “Conservatives should be the first to say so.”

McCarthy is just one of several establishment Republicans who behave more like Democrats when it comes to Trump. In signs of an establishment war with the former president, some states are removing Trump-endorsed candidates for the U.S. House.

Tennessee’s GOP party removed a Trump-backed congressional candidate from the primary ballot after she had recently moved to the state.

Mark Zuckerberg barred from Russia

The Facebook mogul is among 29 US politicians, executives and media figures blacklisted by Moscow

(Are they specifically naming the DS?)

Responding to US sanctions against Russian government officials and their family members, Moscow has sanctioned 29 US citizens, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Vice President Kamala Harris. They are banned from entering Russia indefinitely.

The “executives, businessmen, experts and journalistswho shape the Russophobic agenda, as well as the spouses of a number of high-ranking officials” are being banned in response to anti-Russian sanctions affecting families of officials, scientists, cultural and business figures, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

In addition to Zuckerberg, Moscow has blacklisted LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky, as well as the presidents and CEOs of military industry giants Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, L3 Harris Technologies, Leidos, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Aerojet Rocketdyne. Shipbuilder Huntington Ingalls Industries and drone-maker AeroVironment have also been sanctioned. The director of the Mitchell Institute of Aerospace Studies and the president of the Bank of America were also on the blacklist.

Moscow also sanctioned US politicians and their spouses, starting with Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff, White House Chief of Staff Ronald Klein, State Department spokesman Ned Price, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby, Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks, vice-chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Christopher W. Grady, and the deputy health secretary, listed as “Richard/Rachel Levine.” (Richard/Rachel Levine...kek)

Russian sanctions also named Evan Ryan, spouse of Secretary of State Antony Blinken, and Margaret Goodlander, wife of National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Both hold posts in the Biden administration, Ryan as the White House cabinet secretary and Goodlander as an adviser to the Justice Department. Robert Kagan, husband of Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland, rounds off the sanctioned spouses list.

Bringing up the rear are media personalities the Foreign Ministry accused of “shaping the Russophobic agenda.” These include ABC host George Stephanopoulos, Washington Post columnist David Ignatius, CNN analyst Bianna Golodryga, as well as “Meduza” editor Kevin Rothrock, along with two experts from the Woodrow Wilson Center and the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Center think tanks.

Further sanctions announcements can be expected in the near futureas countermeasures against the hostile actions of US authorities, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Russia has already sanctioned Blinken, Sullivan, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Mark Milley, CIA Director William Burns, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, as well as President Joe Biden himself and his son Hunter. They were put on Moscow’s blacklist in mid-March, in response to US sanctions.

Seriously, anon's not a very good digger but here's what I got so far on Dora Chamiakb who was a featured guest on c-span's Washington Journal this morning in the 8:00 am EDT hour. She's like nobody. Google her and you get 2 hits, (hell, back in the day we were talking about pages, but I digress), the first is a LinkedIn which you can't see. The 2nd. and last, is Our Team, Razom for Ukraine which shows the 9 members of the Board of Directors (with a token male).

Her bio: a managing director of dPrizom (since 2017) with over 30 years experience in management consultation. Before becoming managing director of dPrizom she launched & scaled (anybody know what scaled means) RAZOM (which means 'together' in Ukrainian tongue). This is where it gets interesting. She formed it in the following steps:

1. Dec, 2013: Established the private FaceBook page.

2. Jan. 2014: Established the Board of Directors with 8 women and a token soiboy. She is Director.

3. Jan, 2014: Razom, Inc is registered as a non-profit enity.

Dora holds an AB in Politics, American Studies and Soviet Studies from Princeton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School, Outside of work she enjoys working with people to build a prosperous and sovereign....Ukraine.

What tickled my almonds was when she said on air: My grandparents fought against Moscow and here we are, my generation is fighting against Moscow. Greta the c-span host let her go wherever she wanted. QUESTION: How did an unknown get invited to do a segment on c-span? Someone who just to happened to form her business 2 months before Vicki's goons killed a hundred in the Maidan and had already sent the Azov battalion to Donbas.

I believe this dig, if dug, will uncover c-span for being one of the main players in the enemy's scheme to destroy the USA.

Now very much info from Google for a featured guest on c-span.

Ukraine hoping for military victory in Mariupol

President says Kiev needs foreign help to rescue trapped holdouts in Black Sea port city

(Nothing gives fighters confidence then say you hope to have a victory)

It is still possible to rescue Ukrainian fighters trapped in Mariupol, but Kiev will need foreign help to do so, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday. Meanwhile, Russia declared the city to be completely cleared of troops loyal to Kiev, with only a few die-hards left at the Azovstal factory complex.

“There is a military way” to unblock Mariupol, Zelensky told local media during a press conference with the prime ministers of Spain and Denmark in Kiev.

“We need to prepare for it. We are preparing to be strong, but here we need the help of our partners. It’s difficult, by ourselves,” he added.

(WTF they probably have more weapond than all of the Viet Nam war but they want others to come in and fight with them, its hard to do it by ourselves)

Earlier on Thursday, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu told President Vladimir Putin that the Azov Sea port is fully in the hands of Russian and Donetsk People’s Republic troops, with the exception of a surrounded group holed up at the Azovstal steel plant. Shoigu estimated their number to be around 2,000.

Some 8,100 Ukrainian troops, militants and mercenaries were in Mariupol when it was surrounded last month, the defense minister said, and 1,478 of them have surrendered.

Shoigu said it would take 3-4 days to clear the factory. However, Putin told told the minister not to storm the facility, in order to save Russian lives. Instead, he instructed, it should be sealed so that nothing and no one can get in – or out.

Mariupol was the stronghold of “Azov,” a volunteer regiment created after the 2014 coup in Kiev that openly embraced Nazi symbolism. It was subsequently integrated into the National Guard of Ukraine and has units across the country.

Trapped “Azov” fighters have refused Russian offers to surrender, insisting they be allowed to keep their weapons and asking to be airlifted to another country instead. Thegovernment in Kiev has reportedly forbidden them from surrendering, insisting they need to fight to the last man.

Germany, Spain, and Portugal endorse candidate in French election

The move left Moscow wondering what is now considered election interferencekekkity

The leaders of Germany, Spain, and Portugal have named the incumbent French president Emmanuel Macron as their preferred candidate at the upcoming second round of the election, warning the voters against supporting National Rally’s leader, Marine Le Pen.

In a surprising move on Thursday, three days before the vote in France and amid Russia’s ongoing offensive in Ukraine, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, and Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa published a joint column in the Le Monde and El Pais newspapers.

After claiming in the beginning of the article that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s “aggression” targets not only Ukraine but also the values which France and its European partners defend, the authors of the article came to their main point.

According to Scholz, Sanchez, and Costa, “the populists and the extreme right” in their countries “have made Vladimir Putin an ideological and political model, echoing his nationalist demands.” This should not be forgotten, no matter how much such politicians “are trying to distance themselves from the Russian aggressor,” the leaders emphasized, possibly referring to Le Pen’s numerous denials of sympathies for the Kremlin.

Therefore, the authors argue, the second round of the French election is not “an election like the others,” especially considering “France has been a central country in the European project.”

“It is the choice between a Democratic candidate, who believes that France is stronger in a powerful and autonomous European Union (EU), and a far-right candidate, who openly sides with those who attack our freedom and our democracy…” they said.

Describing the alleged benefits of the “greater European solidarity,” Scholz, Sanchez, and Costa did not miss the chance to criticize supporters of Brexit, who, in their opinion, have only brought about various problems for the UK.

Unity is the only way to maintain prosperity, to “achieve globalization in a human way” and to “defend international peace and order,” the column reads.

“That is why we need France by our side,” Scholz, Sanchez, and Costa reveal.

They further specified that they needed France, which “welcomed the exiles fleeing the dictatorships of Franco and Salazar” and which “defends justice against anti-democratic leaders, such as Putin.”

“Which France will come out of the polls on April 24? Citizens of the French Republic have the choice,” the leaders of Germany, Spain, and Portugal said.

Scholz, Sanchez, and Costa’s article raised eyebrows in Russia, with Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova sarcastically calling the politicians’ initiative “weekdays of democracy.”

Writing on Telegram, Zakharova said that she had two questions:

“So, is it possible for the president of one country to support the presidential candidate of another country? Isn’t that considered election interference now?”she wrote, apparently referring to the fact that the West has been accusing Moscow of interfering in foreign elections for years now.

Zakharova’s second question relates to an issue that Western countries have long been obsessed with.

What about the gender balance in the elections? Is it not a factor anymore? Or in developed democracies, when real power is at stake rather than declared rights, gender does not matter?” she wrote.

Meanwhile, the latest polls suggest Macron may not need such open support from his European colleagues. The Opinion Way survey, conducted on Thursday with 1334 participants, reveals that 56% of the electorate are ready to support the incumbent president, with 44% prepared to vote for Le Pen.

In the first election round, however, Macron’s lead was not that significant. On April 10, he got 27.85%, while Le Pen was just a few points behind with 23.15%.

Russia closes consulates of three NATO countries

Moscow responded to the Baltic states in a tit-for-tat measure as diplomatic ties deteriorate further

The Russian Foreign Ministry responded to the “unfriendly actions” of the three Baltic states on Thursday, by closing their consulates and declaring their staff ‘personae non grata’. Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania had previously announced their decision to close their Russian consulates.

The ministry summoned top representatives of the diplomatic missions of these countries to express a “strong protest” over such measures. During the meeting, Russia announced it would forbid the operations of all three countries’ Consulates General in Saint Petersburg, as well as of Latvia’s consulate and Estonia’s consulate in Pskov. The foreign ministry specified that the decision was made “on the basis of the principle of reciprocity,” as well as taking into account the military assistance that was being provided by these countries to Kiev, and “the covering up of the crimes of Ukrainian nationalists against the civilian population of the Donbass and Ukraine.”

The heads and other officials of the Estonian and Latvian consular missions have been declared ‘personae non grata’, while consular employees, administrative, and technical staff who are not citizens of the Russian Federation have been designated as “unacceptable”.

“All the above-mentioned persons have been requested to leave the territory of the Russian Federation within the same time frame that was set aside for the departure of employees of Russian consular missions from these countries,” the ministry said.

The announcement came as Lithuanian Minister of Defense Arvydas Anusauskas admitted that his country had provided Ukraine with “many” heavy mortars. Speaking to the Baltic News Service on Thursday, the minister said that a multi-million-euro package of military support for Kiev also included the Stinger missile system, various anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons, ammunition, grenades, and machine guns.

The diplomatic spat between the Western countries and Russia has significantly intensified following the launch of Russia’s military attack on Ukraine on February 24. The last few weeks have seen hundreds of Russian diplomats expelled, with the Baltic countries adopting the toughest stance on Moscow. In early April, Lithuania became the first EU country to expel the ambassador. Along with Latvia, it also announced the downgrading of diplomatic relations with Russia.

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs made it clear that it reserved the right to retaliate to the “unfriendly” measures of the West.

U.S. Repeals Propaganda Ban, Spreads Government-Made News to Americans

For decades, a so-called anti-propaganda law prevented the U.S. government's mammoth broadcasting arm from delivering programming to American audiences.

The most shocking revelations of the committee include Operation MKULTRA involving the drugging and torture of unwitting US citizens as part of human experimentation on mind control;[1][2] COINTELPRO involving the surveillance and infiltration of American political and civil-rights organizations;[3] Family Jewels, a CIA program to covertly assassinate foreign leaders;[4][5][6][7] Operation Mockingbird as a systematic propaganda campaign with domestic and foreign journalists operating as CIA assets and dozens of US news organizations providing cover for CIA activity.[8]

Two Russian Oligarchs, Their Wives, And Daughters Found Dead One Day Apart

Police departments in both countries where the bodies were found are speculating that the deaths were the product of a murder-suicide incident.

What is intriguing and warrants investigation, however, is how remarkably similar these incidents are. Both were found dead with their families but are survived by their eldest child.

Without speculating as to whether there is any concrete connection between these deaths, it may be worth mentioning that a third Russian oligarch related to the energy industry, Vagit Alekperov, stepped down from his position as president and chairman of LUKoil. LUKoil is Russia’s second-largest company after Gazprom. All three men are purported to be allies of Vladimir Putin.

ICYMI: "GOP governor candidate Corman unveils voter integrity plan"

GOP governor candidate Corman unveils voter integrity plan

(WHTM) — Republican candidate for Pennsylvania governor Jake Corman unveiled his “Pennsylvania Election Integrity Reform Plan” on Thursday, April 21. If elected, Corman plans to implement voter ID, eliminate drop boxes and no-excuse mail-in voting, and ban private funding of public elections.

Corman says, if elected, he will call for a special session on voter integrity on his first day in office.

“My Pennsylvania Election Integrity Reform Plan will ensure justice for all Pennsylvania voters,” Corman said. “Gov. Tom Wolf has repeatedly played politics with our elections and ignored state laws. My plan will restore integrity to our elections by ensuring every vote is secured.”

Corman’s full plan, as outlined in the press release, includes:

Call a Special Session and sign into law legislation to require Voter ID, eliminate drop boxes and no-excuse mail-in ballots, and prohibit the use of Zuckerbucks.

Require all legal challenges to be resolved before certifying election results.

Make the Senate responsible for certifying all elections, not the Department of State, as is the current practice.

Appoint a Secretary of State with a strong background and experience in organizational leadership and security.

Direct the Secretary of State to audit every election from 2020 forward and report findings and make recommendations to the Pennsylvania General Assembly.

Review all internal documents pertaining to the 2020, 2021 and 2022 elections to determine if any Department of State staff members had a role in undermining the integrity of the electoral process.

Formalize a process for training and implementing independent poll watchers at every polling location.

Establish Election Day rapid response teams to investigate reports of irregularities.

Direct the Inspector General to work with the new Secretary of State to conduct an internal forensic investigation of the Department of State and former Secretary Boockvar.

Investigate any non-for-profit entities that received outside funding to influence Pennsylvania elections.

A small plane crashed into a General Mills plant in Georgia Thursday evening.

The crash happened just after 7 p.m., shortly after takeoff and less than a mile away from Covington Municipal Airport’s runway, 30 miles east of Atlanta, according to WAGA-TV.

Pictures of the scene published by the station showed thick black smoke rising from the plant and several damaged trailers.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured, the station said.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating Lucky Charms after consumers complained about becoming sick after eating the dry cereal.

The FDA said it received more than 100 complaints this year. “The FDA takes seriously any reports of possible adulteration of a food that may also cause illnesses or injury,” the agency said in a statement, according to The Associated Press.

Lucky Charms, which is made by the Minneapolis-based General Mills, said it found no link between the cereal and illness.

“Food safety is our top priority. We take your concerns very seriously. Through our continuing internal investigations, we have not found any evidence of consumer illness linked to the consumption of Lucky Charms. Please send us a DM so that we can gather additional details,” Lucky Charms tweeted on Monday.

The website iwaspoisoned.com said it received more than 3,000 reports of people becoming sick after eating the cereal. People posting on the website said they experienced nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach pain.

“Starting in late 2021 Lucky Charms food poisoning reports started to trend on iwaspoisoned.com. Now there are reports of over 3,000 sick and the FDA has initiated an investigation. We recommend anyone who fell ill after eating Lucky Charms, to report it, and to keep left over product for testing. We will communicate procedures for testing to everyone who reports their case,” the website said.

General Mills said Lucky Charms was introduced in 1964. The cereal has multicolored oat pieces shaped like bells, fish, clovers, moon marshmallows and other objects. The cereal’s logo and mascot is a Leprechaun and one of his most popular catchphrases is that Lucky Charms are “magically delicious.”

More on Harris County Democrat judge and 11 million contract probe: news report from Sept 2021 when investigation underway:

"HOUSTON - Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo fiercely defended a controversial $11 million COVID-19 outreach project awarded to Elevate Strategies - a one-woman company with a very short 19-month track record headquartered in a Montrose Apartment." ...

But Rice Political Analyst Mark Jones called the deal a thinly veiled political pass through.

"This was an RFP (request for proposal) that was wired from the very start to go to Elevate Strategies to provide political money for Lina Hidalgo's supporters," said Jones.

In the days since Hidalgo's challenge, FOX 26 has sought and obtained public documents - the actual "score sheets" from the five-person committee evaluating four different proposals.

Turns out, Elevate Strategies actually lost the competition, coming in second behind the $7 million bid of The University of Texas Health Science Center, a renowned institution with plenty of resources.

But that's when this COVID-19 Communication saga reversed course.

Harris County Purchasing Agent Dewight Dopslauf tells FOX 26 the contract committee later contacted his office to disqualify UT-Health, claiming the winning bidder was behind schedule on an existing project with the County.

And just like that, runner-up Elevate Strategies was back in the game.

With Hidalgo's current chief-of-staff Alex Triantaphyllis as its ranking member, standard "financial fitness" requirements were eventually "waived" and the contract committee voted to recommend Elevate Strategies for an $11-million-dollar contract - a substantial $4 million dollar premium over the bid from UT Health. Barack Obama Admits Billions of People Were Guinea Pigs For Covid Vaccine, Claims People are Dying Because of Misinformation

Barack Obama delivered a speech at Stanford University on Thursday and blamed Big Tech for failing to stop the spread of ‘disinformation’ on their platforms.

Obama admitted the Covid vaccine has been “clinically tested” on billions of people.

In other words, billions of people were forced to be guinea pigs for Big Pharma.

“Despite the fact that we have now essentially clinically tested the vaccine on billions of people worldwide. Around 1 in 5 Americans is still going to put themselves at risk… rather than get vaccinated,” Obama said.

Obama said people are dying because of so-called misinformation.

ater on in his speech, Obama railed against Trump’s former chief strategist, Steve Bannon.

Obama compared Bannon to Putin and said they both use disinformation to ‘weaken democratic institutions.’

“People like Putin, and Steve Bannon for that matter, understand it’s not necessary for people to believe this information in order to weaken democratic institutions. You just have to flood a country’s public square with enough raw sewage. You just have to raise enough questions, spread enough dirt, plant enough conspiracy theorizing, that citizens no longer know what to believe,” Obama said, The Hill reported.

Obama then admitted free speech is a threat to the Deep State-Democrat-Media complex.

“Once they lose trust in their leaders, mainstream media, in political institutions, in each other, the possibility of truth — the game’s won,” Obama added.

“These companies need to have some other North star other than just making money and increasing market share. Fix the problem that in part they helped create, but also to stand for something bigger,” Obama said.

Another Top Pentagon Official Resigns — Warns Pentagon is “Falling Behind” in the Technology Battle with U.S. Rivals

Another top senior Pentagon official resigned on Monday declaring that the Pentagon needs “structural change” and is “falling behind” in the technology battle with U.S. rivals like China.

Preston Dunlap announced on his LinkedIn account Monday that he will leave the Pentagon in the coming weeks.

Dunlap is the founding Chief Architect Officer of the Department of the Air Force and oversees the architecture of over $70 billion of U.S. Space Force and U.S. Air Force research, development, and acquisition programs.

American Military News reported:

Preston Dunlap, who served as the first Department-level Chief Architect Officer in the Federal Government and as the founding Chief Architect Officer of the Department of the U.S. Space Force and U.S. Air Force for the last three years, warned in an interview with Bloomberg News that the Pentagon is “falling behind” in the technology battle with U.S. adversaries.

In his resignation letter, Dunlap said, “By the time the Government manages to produce something, it’s too often obsolete; no business would ever survive this way, nor should it.”

Dunlap said getting the Pentagon to adopt the latest technology is like “defying gravity.”

Dunlap described the Pentagon as “the world’s largest bureaucracy,” adding that the “beast of bureaucracy” is “energized to reject the potential of innovation at every turn.”

In order to regain its “technological edge,” Dunlap argued that the Pentagon must adopt the “mentality and capability” of Silicon Valley, specifically Elon Musk’s SpaceX.

“Ultimately, my team and I proved that we can defy gravity and change can happen – even at the largest employer in the galaxy and even with small but highly capable teams. But, we shouldn’t be satisfied. We need this kind of progress at scale. And we need it now, not tomorrow. Or it will be too late,” he warned. “So let’s be careful to not…compete with each other, when we should be competing with China.”

“Ironically as I’m writing this, I received notification that the phone lines are down at the Pentagon IT help desk. Phone lines are down? It’s 2022, folks,” he added.

Last September, Nicolas Chaillan, a senior cybersecurity official at the Pentagon, resigned asserting that the U.S. cybersecurity is no match with China.

“We have no competing fighting chance against China in fifteen to twenty years. Right now, it’s already a done deal; it is already over in my opinion,” he said.

Google Funded a Leading ‘Lab Leak’ Denier.

Follow the money. As always.

Google funded research conducted by a leading signatory of the controversial Lancet journal letter, which prematurely dismissed the theory that COVID-19 originated at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, The National Pulse can reveal.

The unearthed financial ties between EcoHealth Alliance and Google follow months of big tech censorship of stories and individuals in support of the COVID-19 “lab leak” theory, especially on Google subsidiaries such as YouTube.

The Google-backed researcher, Charles Calisher, played a critical role in the cover-up of COVID-19’s origins through his involvement with a February 2020 Lancet statement – which concluded that COVID-19 occurred naturally, in animals.

The statement was leveraged by politicians, scientists, and the corporate media to silence further discussion over the origins of the virus, and the now-infamous Wuhan laboratory in China.

Mounting evidence and accounts from intelligence officials across the world suggest the virus actually traces its origins to the Chinese Communist Party-run lab.

Charles Calisher – professor of microbiology at Colorado State University and the top of nearly 30 individuals who signed the Lancet letter – received funding from Google.org, the philanthropic arm of the tech behemoth, for a paper from June 2011 published in the Journal of Clinical Microbiology.

The study – “Rapid Molecular Strategy for Orbivirus Detection and Characterization” – analyzed different methods of identifying orbiviruses, focusing on the use of the PCR method.

“Orbiviruses infect a wide range of hosts, including humans. The ability to detect them has been hampered by their diversity. Here we present a simple consensus reverse transcription (RT)-PCR method targeting the polymerase gene for orbivirus recognition and characterization,” explains a summary.

“Use of this technology is anticipated to provide insight into the appearance and distribution of known and novel orbiviruses, to rapidly identify them, and to enhance a rapid response to these and other emerging pathogens,” it continues.

The study discloses that it was “supported by Google.org” in addition to funds from the National Institutes of Health and United States Agency for International Development (USAID.)”Charles H. Calisher was supported by Google.org,” clarifies the funding section.

House Republicans Expand Investigation Into Biden Admin Steering Federal Funds to Dem Donors

Republicans on the House Oversight Committee are expanding and ramping up their investigation into the Biden administration's decision to steer lucrative federal funding to major Democratic campaign donors, according to a letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

House Republicans have been investigating a $500 million federal loan to First Solar, a company co-owned by a Biden megadonor, since at least January. Now, they are also seeking information about nearly $3 million in federal contracts that were awarded to another major Biden donor's company. Both of the grants were first reported by the Free Beacon.

Committee members asked President Joe Biden's budget office in a letter on Thursday to turn over internal records related to the grants and loans. This follows a request by Republicans earlier this year for similar documents from the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), one of the federal agencies that issued the funding.

The funding shows a "pattern of businesses associated with donors receiving substantial amounts of taxpayer money" and "raise[s] questions as to whether the administration is playing favorites with political donors," wrote House Oversight Committee ranking member James Comer (R., Ky.), Subcommittee on Environment ranking member Ralph Norman (R., S.C.), and other members on the committee in the letter to Office of Management and Budget director Shalanda Young on Thursday.

Republicans said they are seeking "documents and information about what, if any, safeguards and procedures are in place to protect taxpayers." This includes "documents and communications between employees of OMB" and federal agencies involved in the loan process, as well as "documents and communications related to any meetings" between OMB members and representatives of the Biden donors or their companies.

First Solar, the company that was awarded a $500 million DFC loan, is co-owned by Walmart billionaire heir Lukas Walton. Walton contributed $300,000 to Biden's presidential campaign and $100,000 to the Democratic National Committee in 2020, the Free Beacon reported last December.

Joe Kiani, who donated more than $1 million to the Biden Foundation and $750,000 to a pro-Biden super PAC, owns the Masimo Corporation, a medical technology company that has received nearly $3 million in federal contracts since Biden took office, the Free Beacon reported in March. The president has referred to Kiani as "one of my closest friends."

Republicans asked OMB to turn over the additional records by May 5.
