Since December 2020, many sudden and unexpected deaths of mayors under 60 years old have occurred in Germany and Austria. Questions are swirling about whether these elected officials were overwhelmed by job stress, or could there be another reason for so many “fit and healthy” politicians dying?
On December 12, 2020, 41-year-old CSU Mayor Dirk Rosenbauer collapsed during a municipal council meeting and later died in a hospital in Coburg. The headline read, “At only 41 years old – mayor from Bavaria collapses during council meeting – dead”.
We are all completely shocked and it is incomprehensible. He was fit and healthy, always walked his dog and played handball
Sadly, the headlines have been filled with similar cases for about two years. The names of Mayors being added to the list of unexpected and sudden deaths seems to be growing steadily.
The “Freie Bremer” channel on Telegram compiled a list of several such incidents, at least 15 known deaths in Germany and Austria in the period mentioned. However, the number of unreported cases could be higher.

LaMalfa said the new order allows DWR and BOR to conserve more water, reduce Delta outflow requirements for salinity, and reduce the mandatory minimum flows in the river to save water. According to LaMalfa, there had been a TUCP in place for much of the fall. LaMalfa said BOR and the DWR allowed it to lapse in January. Congressmen LaMalfa said he and representatives McCarthy, McClintock, Valadao, and Calvert had asked for this additional flexibility to be issued in February in order to store additional water during the winter months. In a news release LaMalfa said:
"I'm happy to see the state finally taking our drought conditions more seriously. The flexibility to store additional water and reduce outflows that was issued today was needed months ago whenfresh water was needlessly being flushed out to the ocean unused. I have been pleading with the BOR and DWR for months to issue this order. Unfortunately, we won't be getting the wasted water back. Had the state acted in February when I and other members of Congress asked them to our state would have significantly more water now. I continue to be troubled that even now, the state continues to plan to use this "saved" water not to provide necessary drinking water, or feed our country through growing crops, but for making the rivers colder this fall for "fish flows". It's a drought, if not for the existence of man-made dams, there wouldn't be this cold water, or much of any water, this fall naturally. Why are we wasting the water we will store to artificially lower temperature by one degree when towns are having their water for personal consumption reduced and food isn't being grown to feed Americans? Even the President is warning of coming food shortages. We are facing a real crisis that will hit economically struggling rural and urban families the most. While I'm happy this action was finally taken, California really needs to look at priorities for the water we do have. I think that should mean water for people, and water for growing food. Unfortunately, the state still thinks it means water for their unsupported scientifically, environmental goals,"

Photos Show Suspected Chinese Rocket Debris That Landed in Indian Village

Debris from what may have been a Chinese rocket abandoned in Earth orbit appears to have landed in a remote region of India, experts think.
A large metal ring weighing more than 40kg (88lb) was reported to have thumped into the ground in the village of Ladbori on April 2, according to the Times of India, landing just feet from a house and startling locals who were preparing food at the time.
Another object, a spherical metal ball weighing around 10kg (22lb), is said to have hit a dried pond near to Pavanpar village. Photos can be seen below, courtesy of journalist Praveen Mudholkar and environment official Suresh Chopane.
The fallen objects were found on the same day as several eyewitnesses in India's Maharashtra region reported seeing blazing lights streaking across the sky on April 2, and multiple videos were uploaded to Twitter.
All of the videos show several dots of light moving slowly across the night sky, each dot leaving behind a fiery tail. One clip can be seen here.
Jonathan McDowell is an astronomer at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Responding to a query about what the fiery objects may have been, he tweeted: "I believe this is the reentry of a Chinese rocket stage, the third stage of the Chang Zheng 3B serial number Y77 which was launched in Feb 2021—it was expected to reenter in the next hour or so and the track is a good match."
In addition, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) issued a statement that appeared to tally with McDowell's conclusion. The ISRO told the Times of India that the same rocket was expected to re-enter Earth's atmosphere that same day.
"With the latest orbital information from USSPACECOM, the closest match to the observed re-entry over India has to be from [the] Chinese CZ-3B, which launched on February 4 last year," a senior ISRO official told the paper.
The Chang Zheng 3B rocket is also known as the Long March 3B. It is the rocket's third stage segment that is believed to have come down over India.
In a tweet, McDowell said that this stage of the rocket was left in an elliptical orbit around the Earth after its launch in February last year. Over time, small amounts of atmospheric drag caused the rocket's altitude to decrease until it re-entered Earth's atmosphere.
When rockets are left in orbits like this, it is impossible to predict exactly when—and therefore where—they will re-enter, McDowell added. "We knew it would come down sometime yesterday but not precisely when, so it could have been anywhere along the orbit. It turned out to be India."

Will The Court Allow The Special Counsel To See Clinton Documents?
Late Wednesday, Special Counsel John Durham filed a motion to compel the 2016 Hillary Clinton campaign, the Democratic National Committee, Fusion GPS, and Perkins Coie to provide the judge presiding over the Michael Sussmann criminal case copies of unredacted documents previously withheld from the government....
Here’s what you need to know about yesterday’s filing.
First, the Background
Durham charged former Clinton campaign attorney Sussmann in September of last year in a one-count criminal indictment, alleging Sussmann lied to former FBI General Counsel James Baker when Sussmann shared data and white papers purporting to connect Trump to the Russia-based Alfa Bank. Sussmann allegedly told Baker he was sharing this “intel” on his own and not on behalf of any client. The indictment, however, charged that Sussmann in fact was acting on behalf of both the Clinton campaign. Special counsel’s office served various subpoenas.. Joffe refused to provide the subpoenaed documents, asserting his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination....
Next, the Law
As Durham’s motion explains, attorney-client privilege protects communications “that a client conveys to his attorney for the purpose of security for an opinion on law, legal services, or assistance in a legal proceeding.” Such communications cannot be subpoenaed; the government also cannot question a witness about the content of such discussions. However, the party asserting the privilege has the burden of establishing that the communications are, in fact, privileged, and merely claiming they are is not enough.
Durham Wants the Documents, But Not Quite Yet
While Durham argues in Wednesday’s motion to compel that the redacted documents are not protected by attorney-client privilege, he acknowledges that without reviewing the content of the material, that assessment cannot be fully made. Thus, at this point, the government first seeks a court order compelling the third parties to provide the unredacted documents to the court for an “in camera” review, meaning a confidential review by the court.
Clinton and the DNC in the Hot Seat
As noted above, the party advancing a claim of privilege bears the burden of establishing the communications are protected. That means that if they wish to preserve their privilege, the now-defunct Clinton campaign and the DNC will need to show why those communications are privileged.
It Was a Hit Job, Not a Legal One
To the contrary, Durham argues that Fusion GPS’s “primary, if not sole, function” appears to be “to generate opposition research materials that the firm then shared widely with members of the media, the U.S. State Department, the Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”), and members of Congress.”...
Sussmann Might Have Something to Say Too
While the motion to compel filed last night speaks only to the third parties who hold the privilege and the unredacted documents, Sussmann’s attorneys will likely weigh in too, repeating the complaint they made during last week’s status conference that followed the hearing on Sussmann’s motion to dismiss...

Whitmer moves to protect Michigan's abortion rights ahead of Supreme Court decision that could upend Roe v. Wade
Anticipating that the U.S. Supreme Court may overturn or weaken the landmark Roe v. Wade case protecting abortion rights, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is suing county prosecutors in her state in a bid to protect legal abortion.
The move comes as Democratic governors across the nation brace for decisions about abortion access to be left to states for the first time in more than 50 years, a potentially critical issue that is likely to resonate in the midterm elections.
Whitmer is preemptively suing 13 elected county prosecutors in Michigan who have an abortion clinic within their jurisdiction, a move intended to circumvent a 1931 Michigan abortion law that would ban abortion even in cases of rape or incest. The law, which is still on the books, is currently not in effect because the federal 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade supersedes state law and protects women's abortion rights. But if Roe v. Wade is overturned, it would automatically be triggered.
This comes as the U.S. Supreme Court is set to make a ruling by the end of June in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which considers the constitutionality of Mississippi's 15-week abortion ban. If the high court, which now has a 6-3 conservative majority, were to weaken or strike down Roe this session, it is likely that the Mississippi case would be the vehicle.

Second COVID booster shot extends protection for just a few weeks, study shows
A fourth shot of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine increased protection against viral infection for only four to seven weeks, according to a massive study published Tuesday.
The study included 1.25 million people age 60 and over in Israel who received their fourth dose between January and March. Israel uses only the Pfizer vaccine.
People who got the fourth dose were half as likely to test positive for COVID-19 four weeks later when compared to people who only had three doses, according to the study.
But by the eighth week, the groups were almost equally likely to catch COVID-19, researchers found.
The fourth shot was the subject of much debate before U.S. regulators approved it last week for people age 50 and older. The second booster had already been approved for immunocompromised people. President Joe Biden, 79, got his on March 30.
While increased protection against infection was short-lived, the fourth booster continued to protect against severe illness for at least six weeks, the study found. The research period actually ended before the protection did, leading researchers to suggest future studies.
The study compared only people with the fourth dose to people with a third dose. Previous research had suggested that the third dose provided a significant bump in infection protection over zero, one or two doses.
Only about 30% of the U.S. population, 98 million people, has received a third dose, according to Centers for Disease Control data.
“For confirmed infection, a fourth dose appeared to provide only short-term protection and a modest absolute benefit,” the study’s authors wrote.
“Overall, these analyses provided evidence for the effectiveness of a fourth vaccine dose against severe illness caused by the omicron variant, as compared with a third dose administered more than 4 months earlier.”
