A funny thing happens when corporate culture becomes indistinguishable from government culture. Corporatized governments promote and grant authority to those ‘ambitious’ individuals who can best over-sell and over-promise results. Think of unimpressive appointees like Trudeau, Ardern, Johnson, and Morrison.
At first glance it doesn’t really matter that these aims are unattainable. But it does matter, because from it we can crystalize this axiom: the more impossible the dream, the more it promotes the likes Ardern, et al.

Ambitious leaders in league with the IMF/WEF were onboard with this, knowing full well the consequences. It was the pushback from popular ‘populist’ forces that prevented this early on, and in the U.S. a strong case can be made that the White House itself was on the side of these populist forces at the time, as it called for an opening of the U.S. economy and fought openly with governors from blue states.

China State Banks Restrict Purchases Of Russian Commodities, Pause Buying Russian Seaborne Crude
While Beijing has so far clearly telegraphed it is aligned, at least ideologically, with Moscow in the nascent Ukraine war, refusing to call Putin's move an "invasion" and also blaming the US for stoking the conflict while refusing to condemn the military action, Bloomberg reports that "at least two" of China’s largest state-owned banks are restricting financing for purchases of Russian commodities, "underscoring the limits of Beijing’s pledge to maintain economic ties" Russia in the face of sanctions by the U.S. and its allies.
According to the report, Industrial & Commercial Bank of China’s offshore units stopped issuing U.S. dollar-denominated letters of credit for purchases of physical Russian commodities ready for export, even though yuan-denominated letters of credit are still available for some clients, subject to approvals from senior executives.
Bank of China has also curbed financing for Russian commodities based on its own risk assessment, Bloomberg also noted adding that the bank has yet to receive explicit guidance on Russia from Chinese regulators.
Because commodity-linked letters of credit are issued so frequently, they would be among the first transactions impacted by the threat of sanctions.
While it is unclear whether Chinese banks have pulled back from other forms of financing for Russian companies and individuals, the news comes after an overnight report noted that Chinese oil importers - the world’s biggest buyer of Russian crude - had briefly paused new seaborne purchases as they assess the potential implications of handling the shipments following the Ukraine invasion.
According to Chinese refiners and traders who sell into the region, regular buyers of Russian crude that load from the Far East ports said they will stay on the sidelines until more clarity on cargo financing and payments is available. Separately, freight costs for cargoes loading from the Black Sea have tripled as shippers shunned the region due to security risks (more on this in a subsequent post).
While Russian energy exports were spared from U.S. sanctions, some European banks such as ING Groep NV and Rabobank have begun to impose restrictionson commodity-trade finance linked to the two countries. Others lenders are also scaling back their exposure by limiting the issuance of letters of credit against cargoes that originated in Russia. And now it appears that Chinese banks themselves are pausing their own LC issuance until the smoke clears.

Among the companies listed on archived versions of the firm’s portfolio is Metabiota, a San Francisco-based company that purports to detect, track, and analyze emerging infectious diseases, The National Pulse can reveal.
Financial reports reveal that RSTP led the company’s first round of funding, which amounted to $30 million. Former Managing Director and co-founder of RSTP Neil Callahan – a name that appears many times on Hunter Biden’s hard drive – also sits on Metabiota’s Board of Advisors.

After college, Conason was appointed co-editor of the East Boston Community News and then he joined the staff of The Real Paper, an alternative weekly based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He covered environmental, racial, and political issues for both publications.[14]
From 1978 to 1990, Conason worked as a columnist, staff writer, and national correspondent for the counter-cultural The Village Voice in New York City where he made a name for himself as an experienced and skilled reporter as well as a sharp commentator. His investigative reporting in 1985 exposed the hidden Manhattan real estate holdings of Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos (and his wife, Imelda), thereby helping to topple their dictatorial government. During 1986–87, Conason traveled repeatedly to the Philippines to write about politics there. In 1989, he arrived in Beijing the night after the Tiananmen Square massacre and reported on the tragic aftermath for The Village Voice.[14] After leaving The Village Voice in the early 1990s, Conason served as editor-at-large for the Condé Nast's magazine, Details, which focused on lifestyle, political, and social issues.[15]
For almost two decades (from 1992 to 2010), Conason served as a columnist, political editor, executive editor, and national correspondent for the New York Observer, a weekly publication whose founder, Arthur Carter, had previously been associated with The Nation.[16]
During the Clinton administration, Conason's investigative reporting on Whitewater brought him national media attention, and he was a frequent cable television guest during Bill Clinton's impeachment trial from 1998 -1999. During this time, he also revealed the existence of the "Arkansas Project," a secret, multi-million dollar plan funded by a conservative Pittsburgh billionaire to find (or invent) negative material about the Clintons. In 2004, Conason was one of the first journalists to delve into the background and finances of the group known as the "Swift Vets and POWs for Truth".[6]

Israel yesterday announced that it is ready to receive thousands of Jews wishing to flee Ukraine following the Russian military operation there, Anadolu reported.
"We are ready to accept thousands of Jewish immigrants from Ukraine," Minister of Immigration and Absorption, Pnina Tamano-Shata, was quoted as saying by Israel's Kan news agency.
"Our door will be open to anyone who wants to come. We will find solutions that go beyond what we are prepared for," she added.
"Israel is prepared to deliver immediate humanitarian assistance to Ukraine."
Earlier yesterday, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid condemned Russia's military intervention in Ukraine, describing it as a "serious violation of world order".
This came after Moscow launched a "full-scale invasion" of Ukraine, with dozens reported dead after cities across the country were targeted, prompting tens of thousands of people to flee their homes, Al Jazeera reported.
After air raids and missile strikes, Russian troops attacked Ukraine on multiple fronts from Belarus, Russia and Crimea which Russia annexed in 2014.

In the afternoon of February 25, the main battle began in the city of Mariupol on the Sea of Azov. The mayor of Mariupol confirmed that fighting broke out in all directions. Russian tanks were recorded 15 kilometers from the city.
Joint forces of the DPR, LPR and Russia take their positions to trap Ukrainian forces, and clean the city from the units of the Ukrainian nationalist battalions that are deployed on the Donetsk-Mariupol frontlines.
Forces of the DPR are taking an active part in the offensive. The fighters of the People’s Republic have taken control over a number of villages on the defense lines of Ukrainian units near Volnovakha. They managed to break through a complex of fortifications established by the UAF in the area and advance up to 20 km.
“Our units are moving in the direction of Mariupol, bypassing Volnovakha, there are losses, but surprisingly insignificant, taking into account the expected opposition and the degree of fortification of the enemy. Today we managed to advance several kilometers, the resistance is weaker than yesterday.” – the DPR military official reported.
The 53rd UAF brigade which is one of the best equipped Ukrainian units deployed in the Donbass is trying to repel the joint forces in this area. The brigade consists of a lot of former residents of Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk.
Russian T-72B3 UBH and BMP-3 pass through the village of Priazovskoye in the direction of Berdyansk and Mariupol.
The assault infantry columns have arrived in Mariupol.

To help you understand YOUR role in preventing discrimination and harassment in the workplace
To help you know how to respond to these situations
A slide titled “Microaggressions” defines microaggressions as “verbal and nonverbal behaviors” that “communicate negative, hostile, and derogatory messages to people rooted in their marginalized group membership (based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, etc.)” The slide further notes that microaggressions can be “intentional or unintentional,” and are “more subtle” than “using racial epithets or displaying swastikas.”

About 2,800 Russian soldiers have been killed in the first 36 hours of Russia’s invasion, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense claimed Friday.
Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar said Friday that Russian troops also lost some 500 armored vehicles, 10 aircraft, and seven helicopters.
