ExxonMobil Canada awarded a contract to Stena Drilling for the utilization of the Stena Forth mobile offshore drilling unit

Stena Drilling has announced that the Company has signed a new contract with ExxonMobil Canada Ltd for mobile offshore drilling unit (MODU) Stena North.

The operations are due to commence in 2H22, offshore Eastern Canada for the drilling of one (1) firm well.

To perform this well, the Stena Forth shall mobilise from the Eastern Mediterranean to Canada after an agreement was reached to accommodate this well for ExxonMobil within the Stena Forth’s contractual backlog. It is planned that the rig shall return to the Eastern Mediterranean upon completion of operations in Canada.

“We are delighted to have secured further work with ExxonMobil with our DrillMAX class fleet and look forward to completing a safe and efficient campaign in Eastern Canada.”

Following a relentless effort by the Democrat establishment to demonize and defund the police, crime rates in deep-blue cities including New York City, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and St. Louis are skyrocketing

Muggings, vehicle break-ins, carjackings and homicides are surging in blue cities across the country amid the implementation of bail-reform laws that keep violent offenders out of jail and legislative measures that put the burden of liability on police officers while emboldening criminals.

In San Francisco, Prop 47 prevents police officers from arresting or even intervening with anyone who shoplifts up to $950 of merchandise from stores.

Now, thieves are looting stores in broad daylight. (embedded video follows, I did not include)

Flagrant shoplifting has become such a regular occurrence in San Francisco that convenience store chains like Walgreens and CVS are resigning to shutting down stores in the Democrat-run city.

Democrat members of the House of Representatives killed a Republican motion on Sunday aimed at protecting Americans from IRS surveillance of their private finances in the latest instance of Nancy Pelosi's caucus seeking to give government a larger and more intrusive role in Americans' lives.

Bryan S. Ware, who took the reins as the senior most Department of Homeland Security official focused exclusively on cybersecurity in January, is stepping down from his post and heading to the private sector.

A former technology entrepreneur, Ware has helped lead the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s efforts to protect health care and pharmaceutical industry from criminal and state-sponsored hacking. He has also made a point of getting better data, with the help of software tools, into the hands of CISA analysts for tracking hacking campaigns.

Ware’s last day on the job will be Friday. He told CyberScoop he is looking to start a new technology company.

“I’m very proud of the work that CISA has done this year,” Ware said. “And I think against significant odds, the work we did on [protecting] elections is really a testament to what this agency can do.”

Ware declined to comment on whether he was asked to leave his position by the Trump administration.

On the cybersecurity front, “we’ve leaned into protecting the nation’s COVID response,” Ware said, adding that the agency had worked closely with research institutions and universities to protect them from hacking.

“There’s nowhere that said that pandemic response was within our job, but we realized very quickly that our adversaries…whether they’re state actors or criminal actors, that they could present great risks to [the U.S.],” Ware said in May, explaining the agency’s shift in mission.

A Covington Catholic High School graduate who is suing multiple media outlets over coverage of a viral video of him has fired high-profile attorney Lin Wood.

On Monday, Nick Sandmann terminated Wood from his legal team.

“I have ended my lawyer-client relationship with Mr. Wood and no longer wish to be represented by him in the above-captioned action,” Sandmann said in affidavits submitted in each of his six lawsuits still pending in federal court in Covington.

The 18-year-old is pursuing multiple lawsuits against media outlets over reporting about the video from a 2019 incident in Washington, D.C. The video clip showed Sandmann and Nathan Phillips, a Native American who was demonstrating that day, facing each other in a crowd on the National Mall.

Sandmann and his then-classmates from the Roman Catholic high school in Park Hills were in Washington for the March for Life.

Sandmann’s attorney, Todd McMurtry, declined to comment on Sandmann's decision to terminate Wood.

In an email, Wood told The Enquirer: "I love Nicholas Sandmann, and I wish him the very best going forward."

The split comes several weeks after Sandmann, in social media posts, challenged Wood's statements about now-former Vice President Mike Pence.

On Jan. 1, Wood posted on Twitter about Pence being arrested and jailed on charges of treason. Wood said, in part: “He will face execution by firing squad. He is a coward & will sing like a bird & confess ALL.”

The same day, Sandmann mentioned Wood’s tweet and commented, “I’m sorry but what the hell.”

Sandmann later tweeted: “Truthfully, this is a dumb tweet.” ..

The account claimed to be working with Rittenhouse and his family.

Wood called the information in the tweet a "lie," stating that the money was donated to Wood's foundation and would go towards the foundation, not to him personally.

If the funds were given to Rittenhouse, Wood argued, it would violate tax rules for non-profits.

After the 2020 presidential election, Wood filed numerous election fraud lawsuits baselessly challenging President Joe Biden's victory. He has since continued to promote claims of election fraud and other conspiracy theories via his Telegram channel.

Rittenhouse used an AR-15 style rifle to kill Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, as well as injure Gaige Grosskreutz amid unrest in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 25, 2020.

Rittenhouse pleaded self-defense to homicide charges related to the incident. A jury found him not guilty on Friday.
