Pennsylvania court throws out governor’s school mask mandate

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — An order by Pennsylvania’s acting health secretary that requires masks inside K-12 schools and child care facilities was thrown out Wednesday by a state court that said she lacked the authority. The Wolf administration said lawyers were directed to file an immediate appeal.

Commonwealth Court sided 4-1 with the ranking Republican in the state Senate and others who sued to challenge the masking order that took effect in early September as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf’s spokesperson said Health Department lawyers were directed to file an appeal to the state Supreme Court on Wednesday, a move his administration said would effectively put the new decision on hold.

The judges said Acting Health Secretary Alison Beam’s mandate did not comply with the state’s laws about reviewing and approving regulations and was adopted without an existing disaster emergency declared by the governor.

The state’s disease control law does not give health secretaries “the blanket authority to create new rules and regulations out of whole cloth, provided they are related in some way to the control of disease or can otherwise be characterized as disease control measures,” wrote Judge Christine Fizzano Cannon, a Republican, for the majority.

New JFK Assassination Revelations Raise Questions as Biden Refuses Declassification

Here in the capital city of France, so many people here have a tough time believing that the version of President John F. Kennedy's assassination set in stone by the Warren Commission – the one concluding that assassin Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone when he fired a bullet with a debatable trajectory into a sitting American president from the sixth-floor window of the Texas School Book Depository 58 years ago. All you really need to know about French skepticism of official government narratives is that this is the country whose citizens still vividly recall the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine in 1986 and the French government's downplaying of the subsequent radioactive cloud that floated across France, despite the panic in neighboring Germany at the time.

Now, some new JFK revelations risk propagating the notion that the U.S. government can be trusted about as much as France's. "Cuban exile told sons he trained Oswald, JFK's accused assassin, at a secret CIA camp," reads a Miami Herald headline published on Oct. 30. The story explains that Ricardo Morales, a sniper instructor working for the CIA to train Cuban exiles in an attempt to overthrow Cuban leader Fidel Castro in the early 1960s, had trained Lee Harvey Oswald in CIA-backed training.

Jan. 6 call logs show senior DOJ officials spoke with Pence, White House

Senior Trump-era Department of Justice (DOJ) officials made a flurry of calls on Jan. 6, including two calls between the acting attorney general and then-Vice President Mike Pence, and late afternoon calls from the White House main line, according to newly released call logs.

The logs, released as part of a public records suit filed by the group American Oversight, detail a frantic timeline of calls between DOJ officials and congressional leadership, law enforcement and military officials — with a call from the White House line not coming until shortly before 4 p.m. the day of the attack.

Handwritten notes from acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen indicate he spoke twice with Pence, though he does not list the times of the calls, making it unclear when they might have spoken or if it was as the attack was unfolding. He likewise lists calls with “SecDef et al.” and House and Senate leaders of both parties without specific times.

Soros-Funded San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin to Face Recall Election

Soros-funded radical San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin will face a recall election as crime spikes in the Bay Area.

Cop-hating socialist Chesa Boudin won his District Attorney race in San Francisco in 2019.

Chesa Boudin was brought up by terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn after his parents were sent to prison for terrorism.

Chesa was the communist Working Families Party choice for DA.

Boudin ran on a platform of closing jails, but apparently he’s too far left even for San Franciscans because they want him OUT.

“Today the Department of Elections certified that the petition to recall District Attorney Chesa Boudin contains a sufficient number of valid signatures and that the petition is successful,” said Director of Elections John Arntz, who sent a letter to petition organizers announcing the conclusion of the certification.

Fox News reported:

The California Department of Elections on Tuesday certified a petition seeking to recall San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin, forcing the progressive prosecutor to defend his post in a recall election next summer.

As the first petition to recall Boudin failed to garner enough signatures to trigger a special election, news of a second recall effort against Boudin came in August. Last month, prior to the certification of the petition, NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit reported “more than 83,000 signatures” had already been submitted to force Boudin into a special election during the statewide primary election on June 7, 2022.

“As prescribed under California Elections Code 11225, the Department reviewed 4,174 signatures (5% of the total submitted) that were randomly selected from the 83,484 signatures submitted with the petition,” Arntz wrote. “Based on this review, the Department determined the petition contained a number of valid signatures greater than the minimum of 51,325 signatures required for the petition to be deemed successful.”

Boudin’s spox blasted recall efforts in a statement to Fox News.

“We saw the exact same thing happen with Governor Newsom’s recall,” spokesperson Julie Edwards told Fox News. “We are confident San Francisco voters will reject this Republican-funded and endorsed effort as well. The recall is an attempt to reverse the reforms DA Boudin has enacted to keep us safe and make the criminal justice system fairer. But this will not stop him from continuing to work for all San Franciscans.”

Boudin refuses to prosecute crimes and has freed violent offenders and killers who have gone on to kill again.

Earlier this year, a seven-month-old baby boy was murdered after Boudin let his killer go free twice after domestic abuse allegations.

2nd Grader Suspended 38 Times for Not Wearing Masks Tells School Board That She Hopes They Go to Jail

A Florida second grader who has been suspended 38 times for refusing to wear a mask to school confronted her local school board — and asserted that they should be in jail.

Fiona Lashells, who just turned 8 years old, told the Tampa Bay school board in no uncertain terms how she felt about their rules.

She is “on a mission to take back, not only her rights but every American child’s constitutional rights from the tyrant school board,” her mother, Bailey Lashells, told The Free Press.

Fiona isn’t taking the suspensions lying down either, she has now spoke at her school board meetings twice — directly confronting those who are ruining her education.

Speaking at a school board meeting for the second time, the brave elementary school student said that she believes masks are dirty and pointless.

Fiona asserted, “ok yeah, I hope you all go to jail for doing this to me,” to huge applause from the crowd. She added that her family is very proud of her and that the rules “suck.”

“I’m doing it for other kids and not just myself,” Fiona told Fox 8.

Fiona’s mother says that her daughter has now been told that she will fail the second grade, despite completing all of her assignments.

“Fiona is a strong-minded and fearless young girl who was ready to conquer the world at 7,” she told the newspaper. “Unfortunately, the blows just seem to not stop as she was recently told after completing every assignment her teacher will provide that she is not only failing 2nd grade but that there is no way she could catch up, per her teacher.”

Welcome the ‘Great Narrative’, brought to you by the mastermind of Great Reset

The Davos-based World Economic Forum is kicking off its “Great Narrative” initiative with a meeting in Dubai. It will be headlined by WEF chair Klaus Schwab, the mastermind behind the “Great Reset.”

Schwab will open the event on Thursday with the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al-Gergawi, followed by four other UAE officials and a journalist discussing their vision of the gulf state’s future.

According to the WEF, the Great Narrative initiative is “collaborative effort of the world’s leading thinkers to fashion longer-term perspectives and co-create a narrative that can help guide the creation of a more resilient, inclusive and sustainable vision for our collective future.”

The project is supposed to involve “top thinkers” from multiple disciplines, “including futurists, scientists and philosophers,” and result in a book to be published in January 2022.

Schwab has shot into global prominence during the Covid-19 pandemic, arguing for a more globalized response to problems ranging from viruses to climate change that he dubbed the “Great Reset.”

“The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world,” he famously said in early 2020.

The WEF has long believed in the value of narratives, publishing a guest post in 2015 arguing that “in the battle for hearts and minds of human beings, narrative will consistently outperform data in its ability to influence human thinking and motivate human action.”

A good story is far more likely to lead to real change in policy and behavior than statistics or impact evaluations, argued the author of that article, economics professor at the University of San Francisco Bruce Wydick.

NOTABLE OF ALL NOTABLES

This is huge guys!

From a previous article on October 29, 2021 about this day coming.

If one also considers the limited possibilities of international banks to access assets in China (see above), there is much more at stake for HSBC: the default of the entire portfolio of Chinese corporate loans. And that, after all, is worth around$196 billion.

"Such immense lending to Chinese companies, without a guaranteed possibility of accessing collateral in China itself in the event of bankruptcy, is irresponsible in my view," says financial expert Metzler. With a return of five percent, HSBC would have to write off around 186 billion dollars in this case. That would correspond to almost the entire equity capital of the bank. And would probably lead immediately to its bankruptcy. This would make HSBC a victim of the Chinese financial virus, which would then spread rapidly throughout the international financial markets. "The Great Reset - the final meltdown of the current global financial system - has long since ceased to be a purely intellectual thought experiment," concludes Dr. Metzler.

Republicans Voted for Biden’s Infrastructure Bill After Securing Cash from Chamber of Commerce

A total of 32 House and Senate Republicans helped push President Joe Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure package over the finish line, most of whom have been showered with campaign cash from the leading lobbying group behind the bill — the United States Chamber of Commerce.

The story is a fixture of Washington, D.C.’s swamp culture.

Elected lawmakers run for office, grabbing donations from special interest groups, then, after their election, voting for legislation supported by those special interest groups despite their constituents’ opposition.

In the case of Biden’s infrastructure bill, the Chamber had been lobbying for the measure since the start of the year. By July, Open Secrets reported that the Chamber had spent more than $12 million lobbying for the bill in the second quarter, alone. In the first quarter, the Chamber spent $17.5 million lobbying for the bill.

The Chamber’s intense lobbying focus proved successful when 13 House Republicans voted with Democrats last week to send the bill to Biden’s desk after 19 Senate Republicans, in August, helped pass the bill with Democrats.

The 32 House and Senate Republicans who voted for the bill are:

John Katko (R-NY)

Don Bacon (R-NE)

Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ)

Fred Upton (R-MI)

Adam Kinzinger (R-IL)

Don Young (R-AK)

Tom Reed (R-NY)

Chris Smith (R-NJ)

Andrew Garbarino (R-NY)

Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY)

Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)

Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH)

David McKinley (R-WV)

Dan Sullivan (R-AK)

Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV)

Mike Crapo (R-ID)

Roy Blunt (R-MO)

Richard Burr (R-NC)

Deb Fischer (R-NE)

Lindsey Graham (R-SC)

Rob Portman (R-OH)

Thom Tillis (R-NC)

Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)

Jim Risch (R-ID)

Chuck Grassley (R-IA)

Bill Cassidy (R-LA)

Kevin Cramer (R-ND)

Roger Wicker (R-MS)

Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

John Hoeven (R-ND)

Susan Collins (R-ME)

Mitt Romney (R-UT)

Campaign contributions reviewed by Breitbart News show that all but nine of the House and Senate Republicans took donations from the Chamber in their recent election and re-election bids.

Tillis, representing the swing state of North Carolina, received $15,000 from the Chamber’s official political action committee (PAC) in recent election cycles, the most of any of the lawmakers.

Sullivan, Blunt, Graham, Portman, McConnell, and Collins each have taken $10,000 from the U.S. Chamber PAC in recent election cycles from 2015 to this year. Cassidy, Capito, Burr, Fischer, Murkowski, and Risch have each received $5,000 from the PAC, while Grassley last received money, $1,500, from the PAC in 2016.

In the House, Katko, Bacon, Garbarino, Fitzpatrick, and Gonzalez each received $6,000 from the U.S. Chamber PAC between 2020 and this year. Upton and Reed each took $5,000 while Van Drew and Young each accepted $2,500 checks from the PAC.

Passage of the bill, through a coalition of corporate-friendly Republicans and nearly all Democrats, serves as the first test for the Chamber’s relationship with the GOP since it began endorsing Democrats in elections last year and has rebuked economic nationalism in favor of its globalist ideology that favors the multinational corporations it represents.

Herb discovered to have activity against the SARS-CoV-2 virus

Todd Runestad | Nov 10, 2021

Wormwood (Artemisia annua) inhibits the growth of the virus and could be an additional therapeutic against COVID-19. Groundbreaking research has identified a botanical that was subject of the 2015 Nobel Prize in medicine as also having activity against the global pandemic’s SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes the COVID-19 disease.

Wormwood (Artemisia annua) was selected as being the best herbal candidate of 30 tested by researchers at the Ric Scalzo Institute for Botanical Research at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Ariz. Further results identified four fractions extracted using a 70% ethanol solvent as having promise against the virus that causes COVID-19. “We know there is activity that is inhibiting the growth of the virus,” said Bertram Jacobs, Ph.D., a researcher at the Ric Scalzo Institute. “We have a novel and broad compound that has this anti-coronavirus family effect.”

Bertram said they have not identified the mechanism of action yet, but they were at least able to isolate and identify the compound, a metabolite called artemisinin. It is one of more than 600 secondary metabolites identified in Artemisia annua. The herb has been used as an anti-malarial therapy. Tu Youyou won the 2015 Nobel Prize in medicine for the finding against malaria. The botanical has also been used as an anti-spasmodic and anti-rheumatic.

It took painstaking research first to identify wormwood as the best botanical against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, then even more work to characterize and identify the best fractions out of two dozen different fractions. Then they assayed three different ethanol extracts—at 50%, 70% and 95%. Only the 70% and 95% ethanol extracts showed any positive activity, but the researchers were concerned about cellular toxicity issues around the 95% ethanol extract, so they settled upon the 70% extract. Then they had to test various solvents to find the artemisinin constituent. The team plans on patenting this herbal extract through its business partners.

Ric Scalzo was founder of the Gaia Herbs supplement brand. He provided a philanthropic gift to the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) to launch the research center, which opened in 2020. The Institute is working in collaboration with the natural products industry and other institutions to develop new products and improve existing botanical therapeutics through scientific exploration. SCNM is a school of medicine and health sciences grounded in naturopathic principles.

Biden DoJ Launches Crackdown On Corporate Misbehavior As President's Approval Numbers Sag

As President Biden's approval rating slumps and inflation surges to the highest level in 30 years, the White House needs a new boogeyman to try and distract the people from the terrible job the Dems are doing managing the country. And since the DoJ has already launched crackdowns on Big Tech and Big Pharma (well, sort of), it looks like Attorney General Merrick Garland is preparing to take corporate America - specifically, banks - to the woodshed, with an emphasis on repeat offenders.

In an interview with the FT, John Carlin, a senior DoJ official who will be leading the crackdown, issued the following warning to corporations: "you'll see cases in the weeks to come" involving "some of the largest corporations" in the US.

Specifically, the Biden DoJ will be going after companies that have violated the terms of deferred prosecution agreements, which dismiss or delay criminal charges for a period of time to allow a given corporate offender to prove that it has "reformed" its behavior.

Across the corporate space, we can think of one industry in particular that has benefited from these types of agreements...Wall Street.

Whether it's Goldman Sachs helping Malaysia's then-leader steal billions from his own people to create a political slush fund, along with a bevy of ultra-luxury items - yachts, jewelry, the film "The Wolf of Wall Street" etc - or Deutsche Bank racking up billions in fines for its recidivist behavior (it got to the point to where the SEC finally decided to make DB's CEO personally liable for the bank's future bad behavior, which is extremely uncommon in the US), banks have shown time and time again that when they break US laws, the response from regulators is rarely more than a slap on the wrist.

NYT says Evergrande did not default... liars?

By Lauren Hirsch

Nov. 10, 2021

Updated 4:58 p.m. ET

China Evergrande, the troubled property giant, made interest payments on at least two of its bonds on Wednesday, a company bondholder said, a sign that it yet again managed to head off default.

Evergrande owed investors interest payments totaling nearly $150 million on three bonds, with the grace periods for those payments set to expire on Wednesday. Missing them would have triggered a default that could ripple through the Chinese economy: With some $300 billion in debt outstanding, the company’s inability to pay its debt would potentially hurt banks, property developers, and even home buyers in the country.

Instead, the company has managed to leap from one deadline to the next, meeting its obligations at the last minute — but often without explaining how or even publicly disclosing that it had done so. The company has tried to sell off parts of its empire to raise enough cash.

In October, when Evergrande said it had scrapped its effort to sell a $2.6 billion stake in its property services company to another developer, the company warned in a Hong Kong securities filing that there was “no guarantee” it would be able to meet its financial obligations or negotiate an extension with its creditors.

On Wednesday, the company met its interest payment deadline for bonds that mature in 2022 and 2023, the company bondholder said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the matter.

The person did not specify if a payment on the third bond had also been made, but Bloomberg News reported that obligations for all three bonds were met, citing a spokesman for a clearing house.

The company didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Although Evergrande has managed to avoid default so far, its troubles have already begun to weigh on other Chinese developers, with the government tightening controls on borrowing and investors retreating from the sector.

At least six Chinese property developers have defaulted on foreign bonds in recent weeks, rattling domestic financial markets and raising the cost of borrowing for all Chinese companies. Property prices are slowing and fewer people are buying apartments, worsening the outlook for real estate.

Evergrande’s challenges could spread outside of China as well, as they ripple through global financial markets. On Monday, the Federal Reserve said troubles in China’s property sector could threaten the United States.

“Given the size of China’s economy and financial system as well as its extensive trade linkages with the rest of the world, financial stresses in China could strain global financial markets through a deterioration of risk sentiment, pose risks to global economic growth, and affect the United States,” the Fed said in its twice-yearly update on the American financial system.

Alexandra Stevenson contributed reporting.

Hunter Told Joe To Run For President In Fiery Text Exchange Seeking ‘Chance At Redemption’

"I'll run but I need you" wrote Joe Biden.

In an erratic text message exchange with father Joe Biden on February 24, 2019, Hunter Biden told his father that if he did not run for President of the United States in 2020, then Hunter would “never have a chance at redemption” from his self-described reputation as “a f**ked up addict that cant be” trusted.

National File has obtained over 800 pages of text messages sent or received by Hunter Biden in 2018 and 2019. The text messages were retrieved from the infamous laptop abandoned by Hunter Biden at a Delaware computer store that was eventually delivered to the New York Post. In this article and in future coverage of the Hunter Biden text messages, National File has preserved typos and other original language from the text messages to preserve authenticity. National File has retracted and will retract sensitive information as necessary.

In the early morning of February 24, 2019 Joe Biden texted Hunter “Good Morning my beautiful son I miss you and love you Dad.” While Hunter was separated from his family for several months, Joe Biden frequently sent similar texts that went unanswered.

Hunter replied with over 20 messages, complaining to his father about his complicated relationships with his ex-wife Kathleen and his lover Haille, Beau Biden’s widowed wife. Primarily, Hunter blamed his father for a New York Times article highlighting his drug use and failed relationships.

“Well dad I guess you were right if I just didn’t say anything or show how Kathleen was a f**king greedy lascivious scorned loiart or make Clearing that I never was with hallie until a year after beau or any of that it would all just go away like the genius Kate and the rest said it would,” Hunter wrote to Joe Biden in a text message that day. “Oh …good morning …from fking rehab,” Hunter wrote to his father in the next.

Hunter complained further, pointing to an article by the New York Times reporter Maureen Dowd titled Uncle Joe’s Family Web, which suggested that Joe Biden’s then-hypothetical presidential campaign would be negatively impacted by Hunter’s reported affair with Haille, use of illicit drugs, involvement with prostitutes, visits to strip clubs, and then-crumbling marriage with his ex-wife Kathleen.

“I haven’t spoken to her in two weeks,” Hunter said in his third text. Referring to Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign, Hunter wrote, “I haven’t asked for a thing from anyone. Maureen Dowd points to me as the reason you’ll most likely loose it?” He added, “The troubled hunter,” and complained that “This isn’t just Kathleen.” Hunter directly accused his father’s staff of framing him negatively in the New York Times article. “This nis your staff,” he wrote.

“I haven’t been in the vicinity of a single f**king person in that circle in over two years,” he told his father. “Every bit of information they use against me is coming from ‘all the people that love me,'” he continued. “Jesus Christ,” read the eleventh text message sent in the short span of time. “Don you not see what just happened,” he said in another.

Then, Hunter blamed Joe Biden’s “team” for seemingly tarnishing his public image, making the situation seem like Joe had failed to fix Hunter’s problems. “Your team just made me the uncontrollable troubled tax cheat philanderer sex and drug addict that you tried so hard to fix but couldn’t yt,” he wrote.

“They just totally wrote my life away,” Hunter complained. “And if you try and say otherwise ill have a hard time understanding hownyou rationalize this shit,” said Hunter. “For f**ks sake hallie for the first time I. 17 days talks to me to say im an embarrassment,” he said.

“To MY family,” Hunter went on. “You think she doesnt feel comfortabl;e saying that knowing there is no price to pay.”

Towards the end of the exchange, Hunter accused Joe Biden of pointing out that he was a “f**ked up addict” that couldn’t be trusted.

Transcripts From Gov. Cuomo’s Sexual Harassment Investigation Made Public

New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, released transcripts from the state’s investigation of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s sexual harassment allegations that led to his resignation.

The transcripts come three months after the release of the investigation in August regarding multiple women who made sexual harassment claims against Cuomo. The investigation included some women who were state workers at the time of the alleged incidents.

The investigation also led to a class A misdemeanor of Forcible Touching charge last month from Albany County sheriff’s investigator Amy Kowalski.

The trove of information included a 515-page transcript (pdf) from July 17 that featured Cuomo’s direct testimony regarding his responses to the multiple allegations.

Cuomo maintained his innocence from the allegations throughout his testimony. However, notable pieces of information occur through the details of the transcript.

For example, on page 166 Cuomo was asked, “Has any member of your staff ever sat in your lap?”

“Not as a general rule,” Cuomo responded. “But I wouldn’t be surprised, at a social event or something, somebody may have sat on my lap.”

He later noted, “I don’t recall anyone specifically. But, you know, I have people who have worked with me 14 years.”

Transcripts from 10 additional complainants were also released, along with selected exhibits in the investigation.

The investigation’s report led to the resignation of Cuomo in late August. Cuomo’s departure led to Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, another Democrat, taking over, becoming the first woman to run New York state.

Cuomo released a statement blasting the misdemeanor charge after it was made against him.

“In the last 72 hours, Sheriff Apple and Tish James have epitomized the worst combination of politics, incompetence and abuse of the law,” Cuomo said in a press release on Oct. 31.

“In an unprecedented move, Sheriff Apple filed charges against Governor Cuomo without the authorization of or coordination with the District Attorney, provoking condemnation and outrage from legal experts nationwide,” the press release read.

Cuomo’s current misdemeanor charge originally summoned him to appear for an arraignment on Nov. 17. Albany County District Attorney David Soares asked for that to be put off for 60 days. Cuomo is expected to appear in court on Jan. 7, 2022.

The complaint accuses Cuomo, who resigned earlier this year amid misconduct allegations, of groping a woman in an unlawful manner, and he allegedly “did knowingly, and intentionally commit the class A misdemeanor of Forcible Touching.”

The incident allegedly occurred on the afternoon of Dec. 7, 2020, in the Albany Executive Mansion, which was his official residence, according to the document, which was signed by Albany County sheriff’s investigator Amy Kowalski. The identity of the alleged victim was redacted from the complaint.

Forcible touching, a class A misdemeanor in New York state, can carry a maximum sentence of one year in jail or three years probation.

QAnoners led a protest in New Zealand that looked suspiciously like Jan. 6

Thousands of protesters are outside the gates of the country’s capital and trying to get in. Many of them are wearing Trump gear, showing their support for the ousted former president. Others hold up signs with Qanon slogans and imagery, spouting conspiratorial claims that government officials are involved in child sex trafficking.

Somehow, this is not about the insurrection attempt that took place in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6. In fact, it didn’t even happen in America. This was the scene Tuesday in Wellington, New Zealand, where thousands of people across the island nation carried out an organized protest against the country’s vaccine mandates, Vice reported.

Cabarrus County man sentenced to 40 years on child porn charges

CONCORD, N.C. — Jeremy Nicholas Mynes, 31, of Cabarrus County, was sentenced Wednesday to 40 years in prison for production and possession of child pornography.

In July of 2020, Dropbox reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children CyberTipline that child pornography images were uploaded to a Dropbox account.

Images uploaded to the account included minors engaged in sexual acts.

Det. Jamieson of the Concord Police Department determined that the Dropbox account and the internet protocol address associated with the uploads were from Mynes’ Concord home.

In July of 2020, the Concord Police Department and the FBI executed a search warrant of Mynes’ home and seized several devices that contained child pornography.

The child pornography depicted the sexual exploitation and abuse of minors, including 57 images Mynes produced with two minors who were about five and seven years old.

The images were produced in 2018 and 2020.

“Concord Police Department’s and FBI’s quick response to the CyberTipline report led to the apprehension of an individual who engaged in the production of child pornography,” said acting U.S. Attorney Sandra J. Hairston. “Follow up and active investigation of these CyberTipline reports are critical in protecting children from sexual exploitation.”

Mynes was indicted in October 2021 on two counts of production of child pornography, one count of receipt of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography.

He later pleaded guilty to one count of both production and possession on March 2, 2021.

“Jeremy Mynes’ offenses are heinous. He abused and exploited vulnerable children. The damage to his victims is immeasurable. Thankfully, with a 40-year federal sentence and a state trial still ahead, he will likely spend the rest of his life in prison,” said Robert R. Wells, the FBI Charlotte Special Agent in Charge.

This case was investigated by the FBI and Concord Police Department, and the prosecutor was Assistant U.S. Attorney Kennedy Gates.

Siloam Springs man part of child exploitation ring, federal authorities say

A continuing investigation into child exploitation has netted arrests in five states and Norway, including the August arrest of James Bickerstaff of Siloam Springs, according to federal law enforcement officials.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Oklahoma released information about the investigation Friday, identifying Bickerstaff as one of six people arrested.

The FBI and task force partners have rescued child victims in Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Arkansas, Missouri and Norway, according to the news release and court records.

Cameron Kelly McAbee, 31, of Broken Arrow, Okla., was charged in August in a federal indictment with child exploitation enterprise, sexual exploitation of a child by a parent, receipt and distribution of child pornography, and possession of child pornography in Indian Country, according to the U. S. Attorney's Office.

Investigators discovered an online chat group July 13 that shared child sexual abuse material and determined McAbee was an administrator of the group, according to the news release. Gaining membership in the group required showing photographic proof of having access to a child for the suspected purpose of sharing child sexual abuse material, the FBI said. Continued access to the group required members to produce and share images and videos of the members sexually abusing children.

McAbee is alleged to have posted a "live photo" to the group July 24 depicting the sexual abuse of a child, according to federal agents.

The FBI on July 26 linked the administrator account to McAbee and his Broken Arrow address and executed a search warrant at the home, according to the news release.

McAbee agreed to an interview with FBI agents and confirmed he held an administrative role in multiple groups, including one specifically designed for sharing explicit images and videos of children to which the members had physical access, according to the release.

He said he had traded images of child sexual abuse that would be considered child pornography, including the sexually explicit "live" image he sent of a child to the online chat group July 24, according to the release.

Bickerstaff, 37, was arrested Aug. 24 and is being held in the Benton County Jail on $500,000 cash bond in connection with three counts of distribution, possession or viewing sexually explicit material involving children, sexual grooming of a child and three counts of engaging a child in sexually explicit conduct.

Members of the Northwest Arkansas component of the FBI's River Valley Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force searched Bickerstaff's home and seized several electronic devices, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Benton County Circuit Court.

Bickerstaff is a registered sex offender with a previous conviction of possession of child pornography, according to the affidavit.

He admitted to taking sexually explicit photographs of a 9-year-old girl and disseminating the images over the internet to a group on the Kik app, according to the probable cause affidavit. He said he took the photographs with his cellphone and instructed the girl how to pose, according to the affidavit.

Bickerstaff said he told someone online he sexually abused the girl but told investigators that wasn't true and he was only bragging, according to the affidavit.

The girl was interviewed at the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County. She denied being sexually abused by anyone but said Bickerstaff had shown her pornography, according to the affidavit.

Connor Hagan, public affairs officer for the FBI in Little Rock, said the agency is continuing the investigation in several additional states.
