A recent national survey by the Pew Research Center revealed that most Americans oppose vivisection — the use of animals in research and experimentation that harms the animals — because such exploitation of animals subjects them to horrifying cruelty, and because a host of less costly modern alternatives such as advanced studies of human cells and tissues lead to more accurate and useful information for people.

Over the years, reliance on vivisection has actually been detrimental to human welfare. To cite just a few examples: Albert Sabin, one of the creators of the polio vaccine, admitted to a congressional committee that “work on prevention was delayed by an erroneous conception of the nature of the human disease, based on misleading experimental models in monkeys.” Manufacturers withdrew two of America’s most popular diet drugs after a major study confirmed that many healthy women had developed serious heart valve defects from using the drugs. A U.S. Food and Drug Administration official explained that “no one had initially thought to examine patients’ hearts, because animal studies had never revealed heart abnormalities.” And because animal experiments didn’t establish tobacco’s link to lung cancer, warning labels on cigarettes were delayed for many years.

The efforts of anti-vivisection societies — People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, White Coat Waste Project, Last Chance for Animals, SHARK and other animal protection organizations — in their endeavors to abolish vivisection have found support from many scientists, physicians, nurses, veterinarians and others who regard vivisection the same way as the famed psychoanalyst C.G. Jung: “During my medical education I found vivisection horrible; barbarous and above all unnecessary.” Or as Linn Paulis, a polio victim, concluded, “I would not want to promote research on animals — fortunately, only my back is twisted, not my mind.”

The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Anthony Fauci, an internationally recognized expert on COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, doesn’t have a twisted back, but does have a twisted mind in regards to his continuing strong support for vivisection.

Among Fauci’s many projects involving the senseless torture of animals is his expenditure of $400,000 to the University of Georgia to infect 28 beagles with disease-causing parasites. The dogs were given an experimental treatment and then introduced to biting flies that carry a parasite known to be harmful to humans. The beagles were reportedly allowed to suffer for three months before they were euthanized so their blood could be collected.

Parasite experiments on beagles in Tunisia, Africa, were supported by a $375,800 grant from Fauci’s department at the National Institutes of Health, even though the NIH has no oversight in Tunisia. While laws protecting animals used in experiments in the U.S. are weak and laxly enforced, Tunisia has no laws protecting these animals. Thus, taxpayer funds were used to lock the heads of live beagles in mesh bags filled with hundreds of infected sand flies. An investigation by the White Coat Waste Project also reported that in a second part of the Fauci-funded experiments in Tunisia, experimenters locked beagles in cages alone in the desert for nine consecutive nights, using them as bait to attract infectious sand flies. Prior to using the parasite-infected flies in these experiments, the flies were starved so they would be hungry and would feed on the dogs, who were then eaten alive by the flies.

There is evidence that Fauci funded China’s dangerous coronavirus experiments on animals that may have initiated the COVID-19 pandemic.

In July, a coalition of House Republicans issued a letter demanding answers from the NIH regarding its funding of overseas animal experimentation. They should be joined by all Republicans and Democrats in both the House and Senate to stop such awful experiments in America, as well as abroad. Other federal agencies are also vivisection-oriented, including the Department of Veterans Affairs. Among other horror stories of VA vivisection, cats had holes drilled in their skulls and were suffocated — their oxygen cut off as part of an asphyxiation experiment.

Censor the internet or face more riots? Facebook ‘whistleblower’ tells lawmakers exactly what they want to hear

Facebook ‘whistleblower’ Frances Haugen is calling for censorship again, after a fresh round of reports implicated the firm in failing to crack down on supposed “misinformation.” Still think this is organic?

Haugen appeared before the UK’s parliament on Monday in a bid to convince lawmakers that Facebook needs more regulation. In her testimony to a committee working on a proposed Online Safety Bill, Haugen said that “horrific” riots and genocides will happen around the world if Facebook is allowed to continue spreading “polarizing” content – namely from the right wing.

Comparing Uncle Todd’s QAnon posting to the mass extinction of human life in Ethiopia or Myanmar may seem wacky, and on the surface resembles the moral panic of the 1980s, when the ‘Washington Wives’ thought listening to Judas Priest turned children into Satan-worshipping killers. But Haugen is not a lone Helen Lovejoy type demanding that “somebody think of the children.” She’s a billionaire-backed, media-supported censorship advocate who speaks for the worst enemies of free expression.

Her operation is a slick one. Haugen first grabbed attention by claiming that Facebook’s higher-ups know how harmful Instagram is to underage users (“somebody think of the children”), and within hours of going public had pivoted to pleading with Congress in Washington to exercise more control over political speech on Facebook “for the common good.”

In the days and hours before Haugen spoke in London, a slew of fresh articles appeared in sympathetic media outlets to bolster her case. Facebook, according to these articles, refused to listen to the demands of staff and remove right-wing news sources such as Breitbart and Charlie Kirk from its ‘News Tab.’ Furthermore, documents leaked by Haugen revealed that the company refused to take down contentious posts by right-wing figures, preferring instead to appear neutral, even if this meant allowing certain politically influential accounts to evade censorship.

Somehow, this is presented as a bad thing.

Until the universal learnings of the Stanford Prison study (power corrupts no matter what the intentions or who the person was before they had power), Asch Conformity study (Individuals will support something they know to be against their own beliefs under pressure from a group) and Milgram obedience study (Individuals will knowingly kill someone, against the individual's beliefs, if a perceived authority directs them to) are integrated into legislators understanding of the human societal psyche, and they craft legislation that is compatible with that universal truth, instead of trying to suppress it, no further oversight of individual citizens should be attempted to be brought into being. Until legislators craft and pass a universal bill of rights, enshrining negative rights that restrict government actions instead of positive rights that declare what the government must provide, designed, enforced and enshrined in a matter that is protected from subversion using the previously detailed studies that clarify the weaknesses in the human societal psyche AND the reasons for the requirement of this bill of rights is integrated into all law enforcement and other martial government institutions from Ministers, bureaucrats, and Regulators, right down to the employees, trainers and new recruits, this goal should be the top priority of legislators, well above the enactment of the provisions of this bill.

Couple of things right off the bat, the Colonial Farm has been closed now for more than two years. Can get into more of those details later. It is a very interesting story, but from first hand knowledge there was no formal/functioning relationship beyond geographic neighbors. We were not three minutes away, more like thirty feet across the road. There is a little more that can be said about that, but the CMCF was not the same “Farm” as the actual training facility/ies Farm/s related to the CIA.

John Podesta did work at our farm (an actual working farm and pre-Revolutionary reenactment of colonial life), but he was a weirdo from the start. Like many people, he probably thought he was auditioning for Agency work which was not true, at least NOT through the Colonial Farm.

Kenneth Starr was a ‘Friend of the Farm’ but not on the board. However, his SPOUCE was. Again, like many people, they both probably thought they were training to be super secret agents or something, but again, no.

Kloman, served on the board (again, i thought he was a weirdo within minutes of meeting him) but the MOMENT he was charged with molestation at the Potomac School (about a mile away), he was removed from the board before sunset.

Some time back, here at QR someanon infered Nellie Ore had some relation of interaction at the CMCF. Myself, i had several HAM friends around over the years and we put up various homemade antennas... but personally never saw Nellie at the CMCF

The most curious common thread MOST everyone who visited, volunteered or worked at the farm was spoken or unspoken inference... believing that they were somehow interacting with CIA in someway or another. More than half the population of McLean (i lived there almost thirty years), was actual and/or IMAGINED affiliation with the Agency. Most everyone fancied imagining themselves Spooks... even the analysts.

Among several dealbreaking issues that ultimately closed the Colonial Farm (one of the only privately-operated Open-to-the-Public Parks inside the Department of Interior National Parks System... was the FACT that we did not rely upon taxpayer money to operate. We ran the farm on direct donations, contributions, farm sales, and volunteers. Rarely more then ten employees at any one time over fifty years, and sometimes as little a ONE! Hundreds of annual volunteers... attending tens of thousands of visitors to the park. MILLIONS of visitors since the early 70’s

I think we made the NPS look like fools, and they were jelly, covetous, and embarrassed. The last years trying to negotiate renewal of the land lease were literally daywalkingnightmarish. Yet all good things come to an end, and i for one don’t miss the NPS on bit.

Obtained by transparency group OpenTheBooks through a Freedom of Information Act request, a letter from then-National Institutes of Health (NIH) Deputy Director Raynard S. Kingston makes the case for Fauci’s sizable pay increase.

Fauci’s permanent pay raise was to “appropriately compensate him for the level of responsibility… especially as it relates to his work on biodefense research activities.”

Kingston outlines the rationale behind proposing Fauci’s salary increase, emphasizing how he “has been a key figure in the White House and Department’s response to bioterrorism”:

“More recently, Dr. Fauci has been a key figure in the White House and Department’s response to bioterrorism. His contributions to this effort have been outstanding and include the development of the departmental strategy to augment smallpox vaccine supplies and the development of a plan to develop new anthrax vaccine. He serves as an expert consultant to the White House, the Secretary of DHHS, congressional staff, and a number of HHS groups on the development of biodefense-related research, and public health priorities. He is leading the development of a series of research initiatives, has coordinated fast-track initiatives for academia and industry participation in biodefense-related research, and is responsible for the development of future intermediate and long-range research plans and policies for a sustained and committed biomedical research response to bioterrorism threats. During FY2004, under Dr. Fauci’s leadership, NIAID significantly expanded, intensified, and accelerated its research programs in biodefense.”

Did you guys see the pic of the husband and son following Alec out of the hotel after he apparently apologized, they look a little terrorized to me, and hung back; and the guy behind them looked very pissed. The husband does not look comforted to me.
