Kevin McCarthy Releases House GOP ‘Framework’ for Fighting Big Tech Censorship
House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy on Sunday night released a “framework” he argued to House Republicans would help rein in Big Tech companies from engaging in censorship and silencing of conservatives.
In a letter sent to House Republicans on Sunday night, McCarthy announced the framework as an apparent counterweight to a series of antitrust bills which last week passed the House Judiciary Committee with largely Democrat support but also some Republicans, most notably Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO).
“Just days before the 2018 primary election, Google search results for ‘California Republicans’ identified our ideology as ‘Nazism,’” McCarthy wrote:
At the same time, conservatives like Devin Nunes and Donald Trump Jr. were shadowbanned on Twitter. For pro-life groups like Live Action and others, the discrimination wasn’t subtle at all. Since then, the examples of conservative censorship and bias across internet platforms has proliferated. Each one of you are all too familiar with how Big Tech and its overwhelmingly liberal executives want to set the agenda and silence conservatives. But Big Tech doesn’t just have a free speech problem. It has an anti-competition problem too.
The letter from McCarthy is heavy on criticism of Google — and specifically mentions several other Big Tech companies like Twitter, Amazon, and Apple — but does not mention Facebook. A House GOP leadership aide told Breitbart News this framework would apply across the board to everyone including Facebook, though. It is notable that McCarthy’s letter also cites efforts specifically from Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH) and Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA). Jordan, in particular, is noteworthy because he is the founding chairman and chairman emeritus of the House Freedom Caucus who also serves as the House Judiciary Committee ranking member and holds lots of sway with conservatives and has been at loggerheads with Buck on the approach to combatting Big Tech for a while now.

Five arrested, one wanted for sexual assault of a minor in Carolina Beach
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Five people have been arrested and a sixth person is wanted in connection with sexual assault of a minor in Carolina Beach.
The arrests follow a 2.5 year long criminal investigation by the Carolina Beach Police Department.
According to police, a 14-year-old girl was assaulted at a house party on October 31, 2018. Multiple attendees took video and photos of the assault.
Those arrested include:
Austen Charles Tounsel Montouri: One count of sexual exploitation of a minor – $100,000 secured bond.
Brayden David Walker: One count of second degree forcible rape, one count of second degree forcible sex offense, one count of first degree sexual exploitation of a minor – $50,000 secured bond.
Corey Tate Webster: Two counts of first degree sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of second degree forcible sex offense, three counts of assault on law enforcement – $130,000 secured bond.
Nicholas James Foutty: One count second degree forcible rape, one count statutory rape of a child, one count statutory sex offense of a child, one count of second degree forcible sex offense, three counts of first degree sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of indecent liberties with a child – $100,000 secured bond.
Riley Scott Crouch: One count of statutory sex offense of a minor, one count of second degree forcible sex offense, three counts of first degree sexual exploitation of a minor – $125,000 secured bond.
Patrick Austin Wise: Outstanding warrant for one count of first degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Spanish Police Say Crushed International Drug Ring After Seizing Tonne of Cocaine on Yacht
The criminal organization, run by a former member of the British Royal Navy who had already been jailed, was made up of excellent sailors and had strong ties to drug trafficking organizations across Europe, the police noted.
Spanish National Police and Customs inspectors arrested three UK citizens after a tonne of cocaine worth more than $111 million was discovered aboard a yacht heading from the Caribbean to Europe in the mid-Atlantic, the law enforcement agency stated.
The special operation took place on June 13, according to the Spanish police.
"National Police officers and Customs Surveillance Service officials in a joint operation with Tax Agency officials boarded a yacht called SY Windwhisper with nearly 1,000 kilos of cocaine from the Caribbean and arrested the three crew members," the statement's translation reads.
According to the press release, this operation was the last phase of an investigation that began a year ago in collaboration with the UK's National Crime Agency (NCA) and that had already resulted in the apprehension of two vessels, the seizure of 1,600 kilos of hashish and the arrest of ten members of the criminal organization.
"At the same time four people were arrested in the provinces of Malaga and Cadiz," the police added. "They were linked to the same criminal drugs trafficking organisation which investigators consider has now been dismantled."
t also added that the head of the organized crime group had several companies dedicated to the sale and rental of boats, with which "he fraudulently orchestrated the acquisition of the means of transport for drugs".
The head of the criminal group was reportedly identified as 64-year-old Robert Mark Benson by the Daily Mail, as he was one of ten people arrested in operations last month in the provinces of Malaga and Cadiz, as well as Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta.
"Known to law enforcement agencies for his links to organised crime groups in the UK and Ukraine, officers believe he trained the crew and ran several companies engaged in buying, selling and renting sailing vessels that were subsequently used to conduct drugs transportations," the statement by the NCA reads.
Two of the four suspects detained as a result of the Atlantic Ocean bust are thought to be British. None of the British nationals apprehended in the recent operation have been identified to the public.
"This is a huge haul of cocaine with an estimated street value of more than £80million. I have no doubt the drugs on board were destined for the streets of the UK, so this seizure is a significant result," the Head of European Operations for NCA International, Dave Hucker, is quoted in the agency's statement as saying. "We know that the criminal trade in drugs is driven by financial gain, and the loss of the profit that would have been made from these drugs will have a major impact on the crime groups involved."
According to the Daily Mail, Benson served in the Royal Navy as an executive branch officer from 1978 until 1985. Before arriving in southern Spain, he began a new career in real estate in Gibraltar. He founded Yacht Matters, a company that buys and sells boats, and Real Estate Matters, a real estate agency, both in Marbella, in 2015.
According to the NCA, over the last year, the agency "has been involved in the seizure, forfeiting or restraining more than £112m and 145 tonnes of drugs globally."

The original CNN article reads like... getting ahead of the story. In effect:
"Of course Dems and DS operatives used Facebook globally to fortify recent elections. It was nice communication, nothing illegal. See, Facebook even said 'No' sometimes."
But if CNN is publishing innocent emails, what's in the others? Possibly something more "proactive", and likely unlawful under EO 13848. Multiple People Shot at Hooters Restaurant In Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA – On Saturday, around 7:30 p.m., officers were in the area of Shoreline Drive and Aquarium Way when they were flagged down regarding a shooting that just occurred outside of a Hooters restaurant. The officers, who were working as additional patrol resources assigned to the area on overtime, broadcasted information to other officers in the area, and medical aid was immediately rendered to three shooting victims until Long Beach Fire Personnel arrived on scene. Within minutes, assisting officers were able to locate and detain a vehicle with three suspects believed to be involved in the shooting.
The three victims were transported to local hospitals by the Long Beach Fire Department. The first victim, a 23-year-old male adult, was struck in the upper torso and he is listed in critical condition. A second victim, an 18-year-old male adult, was struck in the upper torso and he is listed in stable condition. A third victim, a 13-year-old male juvenile, was struck in the lower torso and he is listed in stable condition.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victims were standing in front of a business, when gunshots were fired at them from a vehicle driving by. The three victims and a nearby business were struck by the gunfire. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a possible suspect vehicle that was seen fleeing the area and detained three possible suspects who were inside the vehicle. A firearm was recovered from inside the vehicle. There were multiple crime scenes located with evidence collected, as well as surveillance video from the area.
A motive for the shooting is still undetermined, but detectives are investigating it as possibly being gang related. Gang detectives responded to the scene and conducted an investigation. Three arrests were made after the suspects from the vehicle were positively identified as being involved in the shooting:
Jonathan Rodriguez-Zamora, a 23-year-old resident of Wilmington. He was booked on three counts of attempted murder, one count of shooting into an inhabited dwelling, carrying a concealed weapon, and driver permitting a person to discharge a firearm from a vehicle. He is currently being held on $3,000,000 bail.
A 15-year-old male juvenile was booked for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and shooting into an inhabited dwelling.
A 17-year-old male juvenile was booked for attempted murder, shooting into an inhabited dwelling, altering a firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm on a person or in a vehicle while in a public place.
Chief Robert Luna had the following message:
“We had additional officers in the area working overtime who were able to immediately render aid to the victims and also detain three people of interest. I would like to thank all of the community members who assisted the officers in the area by quickly providing valuable information during this tragic incident. I would also like to thank the Long Beach Police Officers who acted swiftly to render aid to all three victims and risked their lives to safely apprehend the dangerous armed subjects believed to be responsible for this crime.”

UNITED AIRLINES and BRAZIL are FUCKUPS
Brazil recently changed their COVID19 testing requirements for citizens flying abroad and back. Apparently a standard Nasal swab test isn't sufficient if it's free. They want you to pay at least 140 and up to get a "travel verified" test which is functionally identical.
So my wife is stuck in Houston airport due to them letting her leave Sky Harbor with a "faulty" free test even though it's an anti-body test. Not to mention she's fully vaccinated with the J&J vaccine.
Anyone have any suggestions for me to not blow my top after waiting on United's customer service line for over an hour?

RINO former Attorney General Bill Barr failed to investigate election fraud, and really let down the American people. Even the scam that took place in Georgia of ballot stuffing on camera, he couldn’t see what was wrong with it. Just like he failed to understand the Horowitz report and let everyone down with respect to getting a timely investigation (where’s Durham?) on all of the corruption of the Obama-Biden Administration.
It’s people in authority like Bill Barr that allow the crazed Radical Left to succeed. He and other RINOs in the Republican Party are being used in order to try to convince people that the election was legitimate when so many incredible facts have now come out to show conclusively that it wasn’t.
He came in with a semi-bang and went out with a whimper. Earlier in his term Bill Barr went ballistic on CNN with Wolf Blitzer warning Democrats were changing election rules to flood the system with mail-in ballots that “as a matter of logic” are “very open to fraud.” They are, and Bill Barr did nothing about it.
If there was no fraud, why are Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and other States spending so much time and effort on exposing the fraud? We already know that:
• 101,789 “obsolete” voters on the rolls in Georgia, including 18,486 dead people
• Ballot batches off by up to 17.5 percent in Maricopa County, Arizona
• “Massive” chain of custody problems with drop boxes in Georgia, missing hundreds of thousands of records for months after the election
• Thousands of ballots “wheeled in through the back door” in Fulton County days after the election
• “Double feeding” ballots in Fulton County, Georgia
• Nearly 200,000 illegal “indefinitely confined” votes in Wisconsin that violated Voter ID law
• “Cash for votes” scheme in Nevada
• Illegal alien votes
• Election law changes were not authorized by the State Legislatures, which is mandated by the U.S. Constitution

If he felt this way, why did Barr say he was “greatly honored” and “proud to have played a role in the many successes and unprecedented achievements you have delivered for the American people” in the final letter he wrote to me? He said, “Few could have weathered these attacks, much less forge ahead with a positive program for the country."
Now it was revealed that Barr was being pushed to tell lies about the election by Mitch McConnell, another beauty, who was worried about damaging the Republicans chances in the Georgia runoff. What really damaged the Senate Republicans was allowing their races to be rigged and stolen, and worse, the American people to no longer believe their vote matters because spineless RINOs like Bill Barr and Mitch McConnell did nothing.
Bill Barr was a disappointment in every sense of the word. Besides which, Barr, who was Attorney General (lawyer) shouldn't be speaking about the President. Instead of doing his job, he did the opposite and told people within the Justice Department not to investigate the election. Just like he did with the Mueller report and the cover up of Crooked Hillary and RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA, they don’t want to investigate the real facts. Bill Barr’s weakness helped facilitate the cover up of the Crime of the Century, the Rigged 2020 Presidential Election!

Chaos as protester crashes NSW press conference
NSW’s coronavirus press conference has been thrown into chaos by aprotester declaring that he is “God”.
NSW’s coronavirus press conference ended in bizarre scenes on Monday after a protester calling himself “God” attempted to approach Police Commissioner Mick Fuller to serve him a “cease and desist” notice.
The bearded man, identified as Sean Alun-David Thomas, was dragged away from the podium by officers, with TV networks cutting away as it became clear the press conference had been hijacked.
“I have a question for you,” Mr Thomas said as Mr Fuller finished answering a journalist’s question.
“Did you receive my notice of cease and desist?”
“It’s not your time,” Mr Fuller said.
“Sorry, sorry, no, no – you were served,” Mr Thomas said, approaching the podium holding a Manila folder.
“Don’t come near me,” Mr Fuller said.
“You were served a notice of cease and desist last year,” Mr Thomas said. “I captured everything. I am the prime creator of this earth.”
A copy of the “cease and desist” notice was handed was to media.
The conspiracy-theory laden message makes references to Covid-19 vaccines, “fraudulent testing” and reptilians.
Mr Thomas’ social media pages share a similar theme.
On Facebook he talks about the spiritual act of sungazing in order to reach self-realisation, and posts content related to the universe, chakras and becoming a galactic society.
