Mink infected with a mutated strain of COVID-19 in Denmark appear to be rising from the dead, igniting a national frenzy and calls from local officials to cremate mink carcasses.
While the sight itself is certainly terrifying for the residents of West Jutland, a region of the country grappling with confirmed COVID-19 cases connected to mink, there is likely a scientific explanation for the zombie-like reemergence from their graves.
A Danish police spokesman, Thomas Kristensen, told a state broadcaster that gases form while the body decays underground, according to the Guardian.
“In this way, in the worst cases, the mink get pushed out of the ground,” Kristensen said of the nightmarish sight.
The nation has planned to cull all 15 million mink in the country, which produce 40% of the world’s mink fur.
Because of the rushed burial, the animals were placed in shallow graves – just over three feet deep. Now, officials plan to bury the creatures in graves nearly double the depth. The area will be also monitored nonstop until a fence can be set up, the Guardian reported.
But for some local officials, that may not suffice.
Some have also been concerned about the graves’ proximity to rivers and other water sources, which may contaminate water supplies in the region. At least two mayors have suggested burning all the mink corpses in order to prevent further concerns, the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten reported.

Attorney Sidney Powell, claiming President Donald Trump won in a "landslide," is demanding access to the Zoom meeting where she said a Georgia official made the decision not to "perform a real audit" as part of the state's election recount.
Her comments came in a tweet late Tuesday in the form of an open letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
She wrote: "Dear @GaSecofState. Please consider this an open records act request for the #Zoom meeting of today's date with electors & your refusal to perform a real audit to include envelopes & all documents required. #TrumpLandslide."
Powell has agreed with President Donald Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, that she does not work on the president's legal team.
"I will represent #WeThePeople and seek the truth," she said on Sunday. "I intend to expose all the fraud and let the chips fall where they may. We will not allow the foundations of this great Republic to be destroyed by abject fraud."
In an interview with Fox Business's Lou Dobbs on Tuesday, she announced she intends to file a lawsuit on Wednesday.
"The defendants are going to be folks in Georgia who are responsible for, supposedly, making sure that the elections in Georgia are done properly," she said. "And there are just countless incidents of voter fraud and election fraud writ large in Georgia."
Fox News noted that neither Powell nor Raffensperger responded to an email seeking comment about her request for the Zoom meeting.

ImageCast Democracy Suite
ImageCast is a prime example of a vulnerable optical scan system and its associated components. It
debunks the notion that only DRE systems are vulnerable to malicious adversaries. The Democracy
Suite is a paper-based optical scan system that includes an Election Management System (EMS), the
ImageCast Precinct (ICP), a precinct-based optical scan ballot tabulator, the ImageCast Evolution
(ICE), a precinct scanner with optional ballot marking capabilities, and the ImageCast Central (ICC), a
high-speed central ballot scan tabulator based on COTS hardware. As with ClearVote, the use of
COTS components increases transparency, but it may also increase the attack surface. The ICP has a
small touchscreen to allow users, ranging from poll-workers to attackers, to access diagnostic and
configuration settings. The system scans and interprets voter ballots and stores and tabulates each vote
from each paper ballot in compatible ballot storage boxes. An ATI device provides additional
accessibility to voters through “sip and puff” or by allowing them to listen to options as audio with
variable speed and playback functionality. Because the ATI is directly connected to the tabulator, there
is no paper ballot when votes are cast using ATI; further, the direct connection can be exploited by an
attacker to gain control over the system. The ICE scans, interprets, and tabulates voter ballots and it
displays them back to the voter through an LCD display. The ICC is a central ballot tabulator that
relies on a Canon DR-X10C or Canon DR-7550C scanner and a proprietary ballot processing
application software [12]. Exploits for these COTS systems can be easily found online and used to
disrupt the paper audit trail.
In one 2012 Wyle Laboratories security assessment of the suite for the EAC, the EMS, which was
hosted on a Sell Precision T1500 with a Rocsecure Commander 2UE external hard drive, password
policy complexity was disabled, administrative and guest accounts had not been disabled or renamed,
the backup and restore privilege was disabled, “audit shutdown system if unable to log security audits”
was disabled, “FIPS Compliant Algorithms for Encryption Hashing and Signing” were disabled, and
several user accounts were found to perform tasks outside their defined roles. Analysis of the ICP

found that USB ports were properly disabled and the RJ45 connector only allowed for operation of the
ATI device. Networked connection to the system was disabled (except the connection light) and no
information was accessible. In the ICE, a hole was discovered in the ballot box that was large enough
to permit “ballot stuffing”. All other access points appeared to be locked or sealed [17].

Prominent defense lawyer says scheme centered around modern 'ballot stuffing' hidden by voter machine algorithms.
Prominent defense attorney Sidney Powell sued Georgia's top officials late Wednesday, alleging in federal court that the GOP-run state government permitted a massive voter fraud scheme that rigged the Nov. 3 election in favor of Democrat Joe Biden. The suit was filed in U.S. District Court in Atlanta on behalf of several Georgia residents, electors and Republican Party officials and named Gov. Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and state election board members as defendants. The 104-page complaint asked the court to issue an injunction "prohibiting the Governor and Secretary of State from transmitting the currently certified results to the Electoral College based on the overwhelming evidence of election tampering." "The fraud was executed by many means, but the most fundamentally troubling, insidious, and egregious is the systemic adaptation of old-fashioned 'ballot-stuffing,'" Powell's suit alleged. "It has now been amplified and rendered virtually invisible by computer software created and run by domestic and foreign actors for that very purpose. Mathematical and statistical anomalies rising to the level of impossibilities, as shown by affidavits of multiple witnesses, documentation, and expert testimony evince this scheme across the state of Georgia. "This scheme and artifice to defraud affected tens of thousands of votes in Georgia alone and 'rigged' the election in Georgia for Joe Biden," the suit added.
Powell's suit made a variety of allegations, including that:
At least 96,600 absentee ballots were requested and counted but were never recorded as being returned to county election boards by the voter. "Thus, at a minimum, 96,600 votes must be disregarded," the suit said.
Kemp and Raffensperger "rushed through the purchase of Dominion voting machines and software in 2019 for the 2020 Presidential Election" without due diligence and disregarded safety concerns. "There is incontrovertible physical evidence that the standards of physical security of the voting machines and the software were breached, and machines were connected to the internet in violation of professional standards and state and federal laws."
Fulton County election workers used a claim of a water leak to evacuate poll watchers and workers for several hours on Election night, even as "several election workers remained unsupervised and unchallenged working at the computers for the voting tabulation machines until after 1:00 AM.
State officials in a settlement with Democratic parties made changes to election procedures that violated both state law and the U.S. Constitution.
The suit asked for more than a dozen remedies including an injunction blocking the state's certified results showing Biden as winning by 12,000 votes from being sent to the Electoral College, an audit where signatures are matched, the impounding of election machines, and the securing of video surveillance tapes from vote-counting settings. The suit was filed the same day Powell's high profile client, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, was granted a full pardon by President Trump in the Russia case. Georgia officials have repeatedly denied wrongdoing and said they are confident in the final tallies of votes after an audit last week.

What Is Black Wednesday?
Black Wednesday refers to 16 September 1992, the day the U.K. government had to withdraw the pound sterling from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM). While the nation entered the ERM in October 1990, it had to exit the system because the pound's value failed to stay within a specific, required range.[1]
Under the ERM, the currencies of member nations were required to fluctuate within a specific range relative to each other. To maintain this situation, member nations with strong currencies were supposed to sell them and also purchase weaker currencies in order to help maintain suitable exchange rates.[2]
The pound was one of the weaker currencies in the ERM and struggled to remain within the aforementioned range. British government officials took action to place upward pressure on the pound, hiking interest rates from 10% to 12% and then later to 15% in the space of one day.[1]
However, this move was ineffective and failed to appease the concerns of market participants who were skeptical of the British government's ability to stabilise the pound, and they continued selling the currency.[3]
Germany's Reluctance
Another factor that contributed to the pound's worsening situation was the failure of Germany's central bank, Deutsche Bundesbank, to support the currency relative to its own.[2] In September 1992 the deutschmark was the strongest ERM currency and the pound was the weakest.
In spite of this situation, Germany's central bank refused to purchase the pound and did not sell many deutschmarks. When traders caught wind of that, the head of the Bundesbank wanted the pound to ease relative to other currencies, they pounced on the situation.[2]
Role Of Speculators
Speculators, led by billionaire investor George Soros and his Quantum Fund, sought to turn a profit by borrowing U.K. gilts and selling them, before buying them back at lower prices later on. Reportedly, the speculators repeated this process every couple of minutes, turning a profit with each instance.[2]
While Soros had originally backed the pound—he purchased at least US$1.5 billion (£1.2 billion) of the currency—he changed his approach when the devaluation crisis began.[5]
Britain's Exit
While the Bank of England spent an estimated 40% of its foreign exchange reserves on propping up the pound, these efforts ended up being futile.[6] On the evening of 16 September, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Norman Lamont, announced that the U.K. was suspending its membership from the ERM.
The cost of Black Wednesday was originally estimated at being between £13 billion and £27 billion, but documents released in February 2005 under the Freedom of Information Act indicate that the cost of the event may have been far less, at £3.3 billion.[7]
Some market observers portrayed Black Wednesday in a fairly positive light, going so far as to describe the event as Golden Wednesday.[8] Interest rates were quite high during the U.K.'s tenure in the ERM, a development that led to business closures and surging mortgage expenses.[9]
Once the U.K. left the ERM, the nation's economic conditions improved markedly. Interest rates dropped, and inflation subsided. The value of the pound plummeted following this exit, which helped support the nation's economic recovery by making its goods and services cheaper for buyers using foreign currencies.[8]
Summary
Although the U.K. entered the ERM in late 1990, it was unable to remain a part of this system for long. Within two years, the nation had to leave the ERM after the British pound fell outside the required range relative to the currencies of other member nations. While the financial cost to British taxpayers was significant, Black Wednesday did bolster the economy by helping create low inflation.

2020-11-15 update: since 2009, Dominion Voting Systems operated from 215 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON, M5T 2C7,Canada – an office space of the radical Tides Foundation. This building houses (or housed until a few months ago) a Toronto office of Tides Canada and a Tides’ incubation space for leftist groups. Dominion Voting Systems Corp. is the Canadian company behind the ballot switching software. Dominion was founded in 2003, with a mission to provide electronic voting systems friendly for progressives. Because of such partisanship, it languished with almost no customers for the next 5-6 years, until the Obama administration came to power. In 2010, the Obama administration confiscated electronic voting systems assets (software, intellectual property, manufacturing tools, customer base, etc.) from two established American companies, and gave them to Dominion. At the same time, Dominion got some employees and assets from a foreign EVS company, tied to Hugo Chavez. Its software has been used by some 40% of the voters in this elections, mostly by Democrat-controlled states and election commissions. Apparently, no protections were put in place against ballot switching, deletion, or creation. According to Dominion’s own website, it software was used in “battleground” states and the largest Democrat states, including MI, GA, AZ, NV, NM, CO, AK, UT, NJ, CA, NY.
Dominion Early History Dominion Voting System Corp., was founded in Canada in 2002-2003 with an openly progressive mission – to develop electronic voting software which would not just process ballots, but also “mobilize voters” – a popular slogan of the Left. It is not clear what products or services the company has developed. It found almost no buyers, until Obama was elected in 2008. In 2009, New York ordered a few dozens of systems from it. In 2010, Obama’s DOJ (Holder – Mueller) took the EVS unit, purchased from Diebold, away from the market leader ES&S, and gave it to Dominion. This gift included the installed base of about 30% of the US electronic voting systems (EVS) market. Within two weeks, Dominion also acquired Sequoia, which was formally spun from Smartmatic, but ties between these two companies remained. Smartmatic is a UK based EVS vendor, whose software was used by Chavez to “win” the Venezuelan referendum in 2004. Smartmatic’s unit Sequoia faced troubles in the US. Those troubles quickly ended when its assets were purchased by Dominion. Thus, the new Democratic party created a pocket pet corporation, gave it the lion share of the US electronic voting systems market. Dominion is ideologically aligned with the Democratic Party, owes it everything it has, dependent on it for most of its business, and needs it in power to avoid prosecution for corruption. Sounds like a conflict of interest.
