"A Trump podcaster who was found to have violated consumer protection laws in North Dakota for fraud will not testify next week before a legislative committee on voting machine integrity.
Republican state Sen. Mike Thompson, chair of the special committee on elections, said Tore Maras will not appear before his committee on Sept. 29 as originally planned.

"AN ACT prohibiting the intentional release of polluting emissions, including cloud seeding, weather modification, excessive electromagnetic radio frequency, and microwave radiation."
Last month, Republican legislators in New Hampshire introduced a bill that would ban the “intentional release” of chemicals into the air.
The legislation, called “The Clean Atmosphere Preservation Act,” prohibits “the intentional release of polluting emissions, including cloud seeding, weather modification, excessive electromagnetic radio frequency, and microwave radiation and making penalties for violation of such prohibition.”
It also provides penalties for violations.
The legislation is sponsored by Republican state Representatives Jason Gerhard (Merrimack-25) and Kelley Potenza (Strafford-19).
The representatives argue that atmospheric geoengineering harms human health, the environment, as well as their state’s economy by releasing polluting emissions:
“The general court finds that many atmospheric activities such as weather modification, stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI), solar radiation modification (SRM), and other forms of geoengineering, involving the intentional release of polluting emissions, harm human health and safety, the environment, agriculture, wildlife, aviation, state security, and the economy of the state of New Hampshire,” the bill reads.
“It is therefore the intention of the general court to prohibit SAI geoengineering and other intentionally polluting activities in New Hampshire’s atmosphere and/or at ground level, as further set forth by the terms and provisions of this chapter to preserve the safe, healthful, and peaceful uses of New Hampshire’s atmosphere for people, wildlife, and agriculture by prohibiting deliberate atmospheric pollution and manipulation of the environment, providing enforcement and penalties for violative activity.”
If the bill passes, the commissioner of New Hampshire’s Department of Environmental Services “shall immediately issue a cease-and-desist order upon the discovery of stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI), cloud seeding, weather modification or other atmospheric polluting activity.”
The bill will make it a felony to use “an unmarked or unidentified aircraft or other vehicle or facility to carry out SAI geoengineering, weather modification, cloud-seeding, or other polluting atmospheric activity.”
Individuals participating in releasing hazardous materials into the air “shall pay a fine of not less than $500,000 or be imprisoned for not less than 2 years, or both.”
The bill also mandates the state’s environmental services department to post advertisements in newspapers and on the departmental Internet website “to encourage the public to monitor, measure, document and report present, potential and past incidents that may constitute stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI), cloud seeding or other polluting atmospheric activities.”

The Ohio Supreme Court ordered Tuesday that QAnon follower and podcaster, Terpsehore Maras, be put on the ballot for Ohio secretary of state this fall.
Maras has supported policies such as returning to a paper ballot system and eliminating all voting machines in Ohio. On her podcast, The Tore Says Show, she has made unproven claims of a stolen presidential election in 2020 and supported QAnon conspiracies.
Earlier this year, Maras filed to run as a Republican with hopes of challenging incumbent Secretary of State Frank LaRose in the May primary, but didn't make it onto the ballot. Now, Maras is running as an independent, but Republicans claimed she did not have the required amount of valid voter signatures to qualify.
Justin Bis, executive director for the Ohio Republican Party, filed the challenge, questioning the validity of 35 of Maras' 5,010 signatures. Ohio requires that candidates collect 5,000 valid voter signatures to get onto the ballot.
"I firmly believe that the basic signature process is clearly defined in the law," Bis wrote in a statement. "If Ms. Maras can't figure it out, then she certainly isn't qualified to be Secretary of State."
The objections to the signatures included incomplete or incorrect addresses, dates, and signatures, including mismatches with what was recorded in the voter registration database.
Attorneys for Marasargued that incomplete addresses were not mandatory under law to compel a signature’s invalidation, and that whether an address was correct or not was up to the local boards of elections.
“We count on the local boards of elections… to know their community,”said Warner Mendenhall, the attorney,who said in smaller places, it’s clear where someone lives even if one doesn’t completely list their entire address.
Mendahall also said that signature mismatches could be due to the awkwardness of signing digitally.

Is it just me, or does the Alec Baldwin manslaughter case seem strange? After a person was killed while working on a movie set, manslaughter charges were filed, then dropped, and then refiled. The FBI was used to test the evidence, but then the evidence was taken away from the FBI and sent to a private lab. What gives? As a recap, in October of 2021, Alec Baldwin accidently shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins while filming his new movie Rust. Baldwin claimed that the revolver he was holding for the western went off without pulling the trigger.

Yes, but can your blizzard do this? In the Upper Peninsula of Michigan's Storm of the Century in 1938, some snow drifts reached the level of utility poles. Nearly a meter of new and unexpected snow fell over two days in a storm that started 86 years ago this week. As snow fell and gale-force winds piled snow to surreal heights, many roads became not only impassable but unplowable; people became stranded, cars, school buses and a train became mired, and even a dangerous fire raged. Two people were killed and some students were forced to spend several consecutive days at school. The featured image was taken by a local resident soon after the storm. Although all of this snow eventually melted, repeated snow storms like this help build lasting glaciers in snowy regions of our planet Earth.

Bank statements showing Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’ alleged lover Nathan Wade, who she appointed as special prosecutor in the case against former President Donald Trump, purchased airline tickets in her name make it increasingly likely allegations about their relationship and potential kickbacks are true, legal experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Friday.
Wade purchased airline tickets to Miami and San Francisco in Willis’ name, bank statements contained in a Friday court filing by his wife, Joycelyn Wade, revealed. A motion filed by Trump co-defendant Michael Roman to disqualify Willis and dismiss the case previously alleged she benefited from approving Wade’s “lucrative” contract when he took her on vacations, which legal experts said makes it more likely the allegations contained within are accurate.
Atlanta-based criminal defense attorney and legal analyst Philip Holloway told the DCNF that thebank statements show “that the money that was paid to him benefited her in the form of lifestyle purchases.”
“I think it supports the allegations made by Roman,” he said. “It connects the dots and follows the money from the coffers of the Fulton DA’s office back to Willis in the form of costs of personal travel.”
The bank statements contained in Friday’s court filing also feature payments for Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Lines, which Roman’s motion alleged the two traveled on together. Wade made two $1,387 and $1,284 payments for the Royal Caribbean cruise on Oct. 4, 2022, the same day he purchased the pair of airline tickets to Miami, including one in Willis’ name, according to the statements.
“I think that [the bank statements], along with Fulton County’s delayed response, makes it much more likely that the factual allegations are true,” Atlanta-based criminal defense attorney Andrew Fleischman told the DCNF.

“It certainly looks bad,” John Malcolm, vice president for the Heritage Foundation’s Institute for Constitutional Government and former deputy assistant attorney general in the DOJ’s Criminal Division, told the DCNF. “I would want to see how the two of them respond before saying definitively that this is all disqualifying. But,if these were County funds that were paid to him(and which were authorized by her) for case-related work,and it turns out that the funds were used to pay for romantic getaways by the two of them, that would certainly be disqualifying.”
Wade’s firm has received close to $654,000 from the Fulton County District Attorney’s office since 2022, according to county data. He filed for divorce on Nov. 2, 2021, the day after his contract with Willis began.
“This certainly magnifies concerns and further justifies calls for Willis and Wade to recuse themselves from the case,” George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley told the DCNF. “Willis can argue that this was simply a relationship where Wade paid for flights as he did meals and other expenses. Yet, that still raises serious questions over Willis’ professional separation from Wade’s interests in appointing him and setting his salary.”
Willis approved a contract for Wade to work at $250 an hour, while the attorney known as Georgia’s top racketeering expert, John Floyd, was only initially contracted to work at $150 an hour and later paid $200 an hour, according to contracts and bank statements obtained by the DCNF. Willis falsely stated Sunday that she paid all three special counsels on the case the same hourly rate.

Turley noted that theDepartment of Justice has previously indicted corporate officials “for using tickets and vacations for kickback schemes.”“That does not mean that that is what occurred here, but such payments magnify concerns,” he told the DCNF.
Roman is also due by Feb. 2, and a hearing on the matter is scheduled before Judge Scott McAffee on Feb. 15.

Axiom Mission 3 (Ax-3) astronauts Michael López-Alegría, Walter Villadei, Marcus Wandt, and Alper Gezeravci are now aboard the International Space Station following Dragon’s hatch opening at 7:13 a.m. EST, Saturday, Jan. 20.
Ax-3 docked to the orbital complex at 5:42 a.m. while the spacecraft was flying 262 miles above the Pacific Ocean, west of South America. It is the third mission with an entirely private crew to arrive at the orbiting laboratory.
The Axiom Space crew are joining Expedition 70 crew members aboard station, including NASA astronauts Jasmin Moghbeli and Loral O’Hara, ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Andreas Mogensen, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Furukawa Satoshi, and Roscosmos cosmonauts Konstantin Borisov, Oleg Kononenko, and Nikolai Chub.
Next up, the station crew members will take part in a welcome ceremony aboard the International Space Station.
Axiom Space astronauts are expected to depart the space station Feb. 3, pending weather, for a return to Earth and splashdown at a landing site off the coast of Florida.

Megyn Kelly slammed Nikki Haley over the Republican presidential candidate’s non-answer to a question on whether a man can become a woman, an unshakable tenet of modern leftist dogma.
With many already calling Haley’s conservative credentials into question as the primary season officially kicks off, the former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations didn’t help herself during a tele-town hall on Sunday.
When put on the spot by a caller who identified himself as John, Haley danced around without giving a straight answer, drawing a strong response from the conservative commentator and podcaster.
“This is utter bullsh*t. The WRONG ANSWER & an unnecessary weird pander to the rabid trans lobby,” Kelly wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “The answer is NO, A MAN CANNOT BECOME A WOMAN.”
Due to the brutal winter conditions in the Hawkeye State that limited travel at times over the weekend, Haley had to call off a scheduled campaign event in Dubuque and instead fielded calls, one of them from the caller with the transgender question.
Pointing out that GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump had previously danced around the issue – notably in an interview with Kelly last year – John popped the question.
“A lot of the stuff that Trump does, you know, and says, really bothers me, and I’m concerned about it. You know, one thing I saw him do was, he said that, uh, he had trouble answering the question, could a man become a woman? And I’m just wondering what, what your response to that question is?” John asked.
“I mean, I have said, I want to start with Trump and then get to the question. You know, this is a hard truth on my part. I believe Trump was the right president at the right time. I agree with a lot of his policies. But rightly or wrongly, chaos follows him. And everybody on this call knows that. And we can’t be a country in disarray and a world on fire and go through four more years of chaos. We won’t survive it. And I think a lot of that is how he communicates and what happens. It just sets us all in disarray, and we can’t afford a President Kamala Harris,” Haley said, prefacing her non-answer with her standard spiel about Trump.
“Now, can a man become a woman. There’s been a lot that’s been talked about when it comes to all of these roles and all of these issues. I strongly believe that we should not allow any gender change surgeries to anyone before the age of 18. Period. We– kids now can’t get a tattoo until they’re 18. We shouldn’t have them permanently change their body until they’re 18. And that includes puberty blockers, that includes any sort of hormones that would do that,” the former governor continued.
“After the age of 18, we want to make sure people can live any way they want to live. I don’t think government needs to be in control of anybody’s life. You go live the way you want to live, you should be free to live the way you want to live, and every– government and everybody else should stay out of your way,” she said.
“But prior to 18, it is an important time, especially when you’re going through your teenage years that can be confusing. I don’t think we should ever in any way have any sort of permanent changes. But after 18, I’m not going to say anything. I think that, you know, you always have to believe in freedom and allowing people to live life the way they want to live, and if that’s how they choose then, you know, I don’t think government should have any say in that,” Haley concluded, successfully avoiding ever answering John’s question.
“Governor Nikki Haley is asked the most basic question,” Kelly said in a clip posted to X. “Is the sky blue? Is the grass green? Does the alphabet start with A and failed the test.”
“I’m sorry, she screwed it up. Can a man become a woman? Completely dodged and wouldn’t give a straight answer,” she added. “What is it with these politicians? It’s a pander. Nikki Haley knows very well what the answer to that is, it’s a pander. To the radical activist rabid trans representatives, the lobby.”
“And she failed. That was a fail. She can reverse it, very open-minded to have her reverse it, until then, pffft,” Kelly said, giving Haley a thumbs down. “Until then, thumbs down. You failed, you gave the wrong answer.”

Google and AT&T have joined a $155 million strategic investment in AST SpaceMobile, which is set to raise double that to help fund its direct-to-smartphone connectivity constellation.
The strategic investment also includes funds from existing shareholder Vodafone, one of Europe’s largest telcos with a significant presence across Africa. It comes alongside AST SpaceMobile’s plans to draw up to $51.5 million from an existing debt facility and raise at least $100 million by selling discounted shares.
The capital injection will support AST SpaceMobile’s ambitions to deploy commercial services this year as the venture prepares to start producing spacecraft that would be twice as big as its first five 1,500-kilogram operational BlueBird satellites, known as Block 1 and slated to launch on a dedicated SpaceX Falcon 9 before the end of March.
AST SpaceMobile has said each follow-on Block 2 BlueBird would have 10 times more capacity than a Block 1 satellite to deliver more performance for the low Earth orbit constellation, designed to enable AT&T, Vodafone, and other terrestrial mobile network partners to keep subscribers connected outside cell tower coverage.
BlueWalker-3, the Texas-based venture’s 1,500-kilogram prototype, achieved download rates of around 14 megabits per second during tests in September. Those tests also saw BlueWalker-3 relay a brief 5G phone call to an ordinary smartphone in a cellular dead zone for the first time.
AST SpaceMobile said in August that the five Block 1 BlueBirds were fully funded after taking out $115 million in debt.
AST SpaceMobile raised $417 million in 2021 by merging with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), a deal that brought the seven-year-old company to the Nasdaq stock exchange. The group has raised more capital since then, but has also quickly burnt through cash amid production delays and cost overruns that weighed on its share price
The venture priced its $100 million stock sale at $3.10 per share Jan. 18, a 25.5% discount over where the shares traded the previous day — and far from the $11.81 price reached at the end of their first day of trading April 7, 2021.
The equity offering is due to close next week, AST SpaceMobile said, and $15 million more could be raised if its underwriter opts to buy all shares on the table.

Case in point, during a WEF discussion at Davos entitled "Defending Truth," Wall St. Journal EIC Emma Tucker lamented this loss of control over 'the facts,' as Modernity.news reports.
"I think there’s a very specific challenge for the legacy brands, like the New York Times and like the Wall Street Journal," Tucker said, adding "If you go back really not that long ago, as I say, we owned the news. We were the gatekeepers, and we very much owned the facts as well."
"If it said it in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, then that was a fact," she continued, adding "Nowadays, people can go to all sorts of different sources for the news and they’re much more questioning about what we’re saying."

Here’s What I Learned as the U.S. Government’s UFO Hunter

Carl Sagan popularized the maxim that “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.” This advice should not be optional for policy makers. In today’s world of misinformation, conspiracy driven decision-making and sensationalist-dominated governance, our capacity for rational, evidence-based critical thinking is eroding, with deleterious consequences for our ability to effectively deal with multiplying challenges of ever increasing complexity.
As director of the Department of Defense’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), charged by Congress in 2022 to help bring science-based clarity and resolution to the long-standing mystery surrounding credible observations of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), also known as UFOs, I experienced this erosion up close and personal. And it was one factor in my decision to step down from my position last December. After painstakingly assembling a team of highly talented and motivated personnel and working with them to develop a rational, systematic and science-based strategy to investigate these phenomena, our efforts were ultimately overwhelmed by sensational but unsupported claims that ignored contradictory evidence yet captured the attention of policy makers and the public, driving legislative battles and dominating the public narrative.
The result of this whirlwind of tall tales, fabrication and secondhand or thirdhand retellings of the same, was a social media frenzy and a significant amount of congressional and executive time and energy spent on investigating these so-called claims—as if we didn’t have anything better to do.
The conspiracists’ story goes something like this: The U.S. has been hiding and attempting to reverse engineer as many as 12 UAP/UFOs from as early as the 1960s and perhaps earlier. This great cover-up and conspiracy failed to produce any salient results, and consequently the effort was abandoned to some private sector defense contractors to continue the work. Sometime later, the story continues, those private sector contractors wanted to bring the whole program back under U.S. government (USG) auspices. Apparently, the CIA stopped this supposed transfer back to the USG. All of this is without substantiating evidence, but, alas, belief in a statement is directly proportional to the volume in which it is transmitted and the number of times it is repeated, not the actual facts.
During a full-scale, year-long investigation of this story (which has been told and retold by a small group of interconnected believers and others with possibly less than honest intentions—none of whom have firsthand accounts of any of this), AARO discovered a few things, and none were about aliens.
First, no record exists of any president or living DOD or intelligence community leader knowing about this alleged program, nor any congressional committee having such knowledge. This should speak volumes if this case were following typical procedure because it is inconceivable that a program of such import would not ever have been briefed to the 50 to 100 people at the top of the USG over the decades of its existence.

Second, this narrative has been simmering for years and is largely an outgrowth of a former program at the DOD’s Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which was heavily influenced by a group of individuals associated with businessman and longtime ufologist Robert Bigelow, founder of Bigelow Aerospace. In 2009 then senator Harry Reid asked the secretary of defense (SECDEF) to set up a SAP (special access program) to protect the alleged UAP/UFO material that AATIP proponents believed the USG was hiding. The SECDEF declined to do so after a review by the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSDI), and DIA concluded that not only did no such material exist, but taxpayer money was being inappropriately spent on paranormal research at Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. This is well documented in open sources, particularly in records available on DIA’s electronic FOIA Reading Room. After the negative response by SECDEF, Senator Reid then enlisted the help of then senator Joseph Lieberman to request that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) set up an SAP for the same purpose. The administrative SAP proposal package was informed by the same individuals who had been associated with AATIP. AARO’s archival research has located the administrative proposal for the DHS SAP, complete with the participants, which has been declassified and is being reviewed for public release.
Finally, the key purveyors of this narrative have known one another for decades. In the early 2000s several members of this small group also participated in a study, erroneously characterized (by the same participants) as having been sponsored by the White House, on the possible societal impact of disclosing the existence of extraterrestrials to the public, with the authenticity of the abovementioned concealed government program taken as its baseline assumption. The think tank in question was a “futures” enterprise that often worked on fringe studies, and many of the individuals involved with the study also worked for Bigelow Aerospace in support of the AATIP program.
AARO thoroughly investigated these claims as part of its congressionally mandated mission to not only technically evaluate contemporary UAP observations but also review historical accounts going back to the 1940s. One of my last acts before retiring was to sign AARO’s Historical Record Report Volume 1, which is currently being prepared for delivery to Congress and the public. The report demonstrates that many of the circulating allegations described above derive from inadvertent or unauthorized disclosures of legitimate U.S. programs or related R&D that have nothing to do with extraterrestrial issues or technology. Some are misrepresentations, and some derive from pure, unsupported beliefs. In many respects, the narrative is a textbook example of circular reporting, with each person relaying what they heard, but the information often ultimately being sourced to the same small group of individuals.

The operational mission Congress has assigned AARO is important. Accumulating observations by highly trained U.S. military and other credible personnel of unidentified anomalous phenomena at or near sensitive national security areas and activities calls for a serious effort to understand what’s going on. Simply put, “unidentified” is unacceptable, particularly in these times of heightened geopolitical tension. Part of the problem we face today, however, is that the modern media cycle drives stories faster than sound research, science and peer review time lines can validate them. More worrisome is the willingness of some to make judgments and take actions on these stories without having seen or even requested supporting evidence, an omission that is all the more problematic when the claims are so extraordinary. Some members of Congress prefer to opine about aliens to the press rather than get an evidence-based briefing on the matter. Members have a responsibility to exhibit critical thinking skills instead of seeking the spotlight. As of the time of my departure, none, let me repeat, none of the conspiracy-minded “whistleblowers” in the public eye had elected to come to AARO to provide their “evidence” and statement for the record despite numerous invitations. Anyone that would rather be sensationalist in the public eye than bring their evidence to the one organization established in law with all of the legal process and security framework established to protect them, their privacy, and the information and to investigate and report out findings is suspect.
I can assure you as its former director that AARO is unwaveringly committed to harnessing science and technology to bring unprecedented clarity to these fascinating, important, and stubborn mysteries and to do so with maximum transparency. Its talented staff and team of supporting scientists are at this very moment striving in collaboration with the armed forces, intelligence community, government agencies, national laboratories, scientific community, academic community—and soon the general public—to collect and analyze hard, measurable data—i.e., extraordinary evidence—in this heretofore eyewitness-rich but data-poor field. The AARO team will go wherever the data takes it, without fail, and will not be swayed by any attempts to influence its findings otherwise. Science cannot be left on the side of the road in the mad dash to uncover some great conspiracy. Carl Sagan would expect no less, and neither should the American people.

Dickson, who constantly shamed Djokovic for not getting vaccinated, collapsed and died according to a statement.
"We are devastated to announce that our wonderful husband and Dad, Mike, has collapsed and died while in Melbourne for the Aus Open," the statement read.
"Novak Djokovic could ruin his chances of becoming the GOAT by refusing to take the vaccine… it is a strange hill to die on for a player who is so desperate to be loved," was one of the many anti-Djokovic headlines Dickson wrote.
At the moment, it is unclear what exactly caused Dickson's death.

Former NASA astronaut Leland Melvin said he saw something strange in space.
Melvin’s revelation is adding more fuel to the fire we ignited when we began exploring space as humans.
Everyone wants to know whether’s there life out there and Leland Melvin says it’s possible – because he says he saw it.
There’s a famous blog titled ‘UFO Sightings Daily’ that’s run by Scott Waring.
Waring is constantly looking for proof of alien life and so he asked Melvin whether he’d ever seen anything out there.
Amazingly, Melvin actually said yes.
Melvin is a seasoned astronaut, having spent over 565 hours in space.
While this may pale in comparison to Frank Rubio’s experience, it’s still nothing to sneeze at.
Melvin said he didn’t really see something he’d call an UFO, but he said he did see something unusual.
“I thought I saw something organic/alien like floating out of the payload bay,” Melvin said.
Melvin described the alien being as translucent and curved, and organic, which is the key component of his statement.

World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus has called on countries to sign on to the health organization’s pandemic treaty so the world can prepare for "Disease X."
Ghebreyesus, speaking in front of an audience at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday, said that he hoped countries would reach a pandemic agreement by May to address this "common enemy."
Disease X is a hypothetical "placeholder" virus that has not yet been formed, but scientists say it could be 20 times deadlier than COVID-19. It was added to the WHO’s short list of pathogens for research in 2017 that could cause a "serious international epidemic," according to a 2022 WHO press release.

Ghebreyesus said that independent panels and experts have been working on ways to respond in a collective fashion and that a deadline for the treaty to be signed is in May.
He said that some of the preparedness responses could include an early-warning system, organizing supply chains and advancing research and development to test drugs. Primary health care would need to be looked at, too, given that wealthy countries did not fare well during COVID, since they struggled with basics like contact tracing.
"It’s better to anticipate something that may happen because it has happened in our history many times, and prepare for it. We should not face things unprepared; we can prepare for some unknown things, as well."
World leaders met in March 2021 to announce that a treaty was being negotiated and drafted.
"The main goal of this treaty would be to foster an all-of-government and all-of-society approach, strengthening national, regional and global capacities and resilience to future pandemics," a statement put out by two dozen heads of state reads.

The Israeli regime's president has been targeted by Swiss prosecutors over the Zionist forces' genocidal war on the defenseless Palestinians trapped in the besieged Gaza Strip.
Isaac Herzog was handed criminal charges during his visit to Davos, Switzerland, Swiss prosecutors said on Friday.
The Federal Prosecutor's Office (BA) confirmed that it had received a criminal complaint against the Israeli president, who was at the World Economic Forum's annual meeting in Davos on Thursday to discuss the Gaza war.
"The criminal complaints will now be examined in accordance with the usual procedure," BA said in a statement, adding that it was in contact with the foreign ministry "to examine the question of the immunity of the person concerned."
It did not say what the specific complaints were, or who had filed them.
However, a statement allegedly issued by the parties who had lodged the complaint, entitled "Legal Action Against Crimes Against Humanity" and obtained by AFP, said several unnamed individuals had filed charges with federal prosecutors and with cantonal authorities in Basel, Bern and Zurich.
The statement said the plaintiffs were seeking a criminal prosecution in parallel to a case brought before the UN's International Court of Justice by South Africa, which accuses Israel of genocide in its air and ground offensive in Gaza.
Addressing the issue of immunity, the statement suggested that it could be lifted "in certain circumstances", including in cases of alleged crimes against humanity, adding that "these conditions are met in this case".
South Africa launched the emergency case at the ICJ in The Hague this month, arguing that Israel had breached the 1948 UN Genocide Convention.
South Africa demanded that the judges order Israel to halt its attacks on the Palestinian territory. Israel has denounced the case as "distorted".
Meanwhile, the relentless Israeli regime forces attacks on Gaza have ravaged the Palestinian territory since early October.
So far, the Israeli war machine has killed a total of 24,762 Palestinians, mostly women and children and the elderly, and injured at least 62,108 others, according to the Gaza health ministry on Friday.
Palestinian Hamas resistance group launched an operation against the Israelis on October 7, in response to the Zionists' decades-long atrocities against Palestinians.
Meanwhile, the Israeli regime official has expressed his outrage over the case lodged against him by the anti-Apartheid South African government.
Herzog argued that Palestinians’ suffering was the only way the Israeli Apartheid regime could defend itself against its enemies.
"We care. It is painful for us that our neighbors are suffering so much," the two-faced president said in regard to the Zionist regime's decades-long annihilation of the Palestinians and the years-long destruction of Gaza.

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley thinks she’s running in a two-way race. She’ll have to win far more than just New Hampshire to turn that fantasy into a reality.
As the final votes were tallied in the first caucuses of the 2024 campaign, Haley declared that the primary contest had been narrowed down to between her and former President Donald Trump.
Trump carried every county in the Hawkeye State except one, where the Republican frontrunner tied with his U.N. ambassador.
“I can safely say tonight Iowa made this Republican primary a two-person race,” Haley said.
The former two-term governor of South Carolina claimed to be triumphant despite a third-place finish with less than 20 percent of the vote. Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis was the runner-up with 21 percent, and Trump carried the contest in first with 51 percent.
On Tuesday,Haley defended her third-place finish as some sort of vindicationthat she was running against Trump, and no one else, in the Republican primary.
“We came out with a strong showing. That’s what we wanted in Iowa,” she said.
Haley dropped out of the ABC News debate in New Hampshire, refusing to stand on stage with anyone other than the former president.
“We’ve had five great debates in this campaign,” Haley wrote on platform X. “Unfortunately, Donald Trump has ducked all of them. He has nowhere left to hide. The next debate I do will either be with Donald Trump or with Joe Biden.”
Haley’s campaign now hinges on New Hampshire, where an electorate contaminated by Democrat and independent voters registered as “undeclared” may vote in what is allegedly a Republican primary.The state’s semi-open primary, however, is no small part of Haley’s plan to pick up the advantage. Haley has openly professed to courting Democrats and independents to carry her over the finish line in New England.
“If we get independents, if we get conservative Democrats, that’s what the Republican Party should pursue,” Haley toldreporters last month. “Our goal is to get as many people in the tent as we can.”
It’s a fine messagefor the general election in November,but it’s not the one to run on in a Republican contest when campaigning for the trustof conservative voters. Haley’s cross-party appeal threatens to dilute any victory in New Hampshire. Her courting of Democrat support in the primary provides evidence thatshe is more of a lefty politician running in the shadow of ex-Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheneythan someone who carries the blessing of the GOP’s base. Her third-place finish in Iowa was already buffered by Democrats who still plan to vote Democrat this fall. Haley’shome state of South Carolinawill vote just one month later, and polling showsTrump commands a consistent 30-point lead.
Of course, polls don’t vote. People do. But a Haley win among Democrats in New Hampshire is unlikely to offer the former South Carolina governor the momentum she needs to convince home-state voters of conservative credentials that could out-Trump Trump. Voters are likely already suspicious of Haley’s aggressive platform on foreign affairs as the establishment’s neocon favorite in the primary. While Haley routinely bangs the war drums over China and Ukraine, most Republican voters say the U.S. has already spent enough on Kyiv.
Haley’s White House effort being bankrolled by Democrat megadonors, on the other hand, does little to shake off her brand as another“Cheney in 3-inch heels.” In December, LinkedIn Co-Founder Reid Hoffman gave$250,000 to Haley’s super PAC. Who was another neocon Republican reliant on left-wing money to court Democrat voters in a GOP primary? Liz Cheney.
Victory in New Hampshire is far morevalidation that Haley is an imitation of the ousted Wyoming lawmaker than she is the incoming Republican standard-bearer.
