A team of researchers analyzing Pfizer’s clinical trial data has accused the pharmaceutical giant of concealing deaths during its COVID-19 vaccine trials.

Among the allegations is the failure to disclose the death of a Kansas participant who was part of the BNT162b2 vaccine trial. The death reportedly occurred 41 days after the participant received their second vaccine dose.

The accusations stem from a detailed report led by Dr. Jeyanthi Kunadhasan, an anesthetist and perioperative physician, and a member of the DailyClout research team.

The team alleges that Pfizer’s reporting practices during the critical juncture leading to the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the vaccine were flawed, with significant delays in documenting serious adverse events, including deaths.

“The Polack paper disclosed six deaths — two in the BNT162b2 arm, and four in the Placebo arm. In the journal article and the EUA approval documentation[9], the six deaths covered the period of July 27, 2020, through November 14, 2020,” Dr. Kunadhasan wrote in a letter sent to Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach, who filed a lawsuit against Pfizer.

“This letter will demonstrate that Pfizer-BioNTech possessed records showing that eight deaths, four in the BNT162b2 arm and four in the Placebo arm, should have been disclosed by Pfizer to the FDA. In addition, the two undisclosed deaths presented a cardiac event signal in the clinical trial’s BNT162b2 recipients. One of the undisclosed deaths in the vaccinated arm of the trial occurred in Kansas,” she added.

Subject 11141050, a 63-year-old Kansas woman, participated in Pfizer’s clinical trial at a research site in Newton, Kansas.

Despite her pre-existing conditions, including hypertension and depression, she met the trial’s inclusion criteria and received her second vaccine dose on September 8, 2020. She passed away on October 19, 2020, with the cause of death determined to be sudden cardiac arrest.

While it had been reported in independent as well as Russian media previously, this week The Washington Post offered further confirmation that Ukrainian intelligence had provided Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) with direct drone support in the weeks leading up to the shock offensive which led to the overthrow of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

A U.S. appeals court on Dec. 11 struck down a Nasdaq rule requiring companies listed on the stock exchange to have “diverse representation” on their boards, finding the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) acted unlawfully in approving the policy.

The rule was introduced by the SEC and Nasdaq as part of efforts to boost racial and gender diversity in corporations. They say it is a disclosure requirement that provides standardized information on board diversity.

In a 9–8 ruling, the New Orleans-based Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found the rule should not have been signed off by the SEC in August 2021 because the regulator lacked legal authority.

“SEC has intruded into territory far outside its ordinary domain,” U.S. Circuit Judge Andrew Oldham wrote for the majority.

According to the rule, companies listed on the exchange must have at least two “diverse board members,” including “at least one director who self-identifies as a female,” and at least one who “self-identifies as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latinx, Asian, Native American or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, two or more races or ethnicities, or as LGBTQ+.”

Companies that do not have at least two such members on their board of directors must explain why they do not. They must also disclose annually how board members identify in those categories.

The National Center for Public Policy Research and the Alliance for Fair Board Recruitment, a group formed by conservative legal activist Edward Blum, filed a lawsuit against the rule in August 2021.

They argued the rule amounted to an attempt to coerce companies into satisfying a “diversity quota,” was unconstitutional, and violated the Exchange Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and free speech. Continue…

This cost and more were revealed by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, which highlighted that Global Affairs Canada owns more than 400 properties in over 70 countries.

One of the expenses is $12.5 million for vacant land in Senegal.

“Do we really need the government dropping tens of millions of dollars on official residences halfway around the world?” asked Franco Terrazzano, federal director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation. “Better question: does Senegal not have vacant land available for less than eight figures?”

Consul General in New York and former chair of Global Public Affairs, Tom Clark, was previously involved in a spending controversy after the government purchased a $9 million condo in the ultra-luxury area of Billionaires’ Row.

Rev. Joel St. John, a pastor at Liberty Church in Bowmanville, Ont., says the “Protect Christians Canada” campaign is a “clarion call” for unity to protect churches and Christians across the country.

St. John and members of at least five other church communities in the Durham region banded together to help Jivani draft a petition calling on all governments in Canada to protect the rights of Christians across the country.

“This is not a partisan movement. This is not a movement that’s trying to add to the divisiveness of this time,” he said. “It’s simply a clarion call to Christians in Canada that want to protect what we already have.”

Jivani’s “Protect Christians in Canada” campaign attracted a public endorsement from Jivani’s longtime friend, U.S. Vice-President-elect JD Vance.

The operators of an Ontario supervised drug site have launched a legal challenge against the province’s new law to shut them down, arguing that the decision is a breach of Charter rights.

The Neighbourhood Group Community Services, located in Toronto, and two site users, filed a challenge against the Ontario government with the Ontario Superior Court of Justice on Tuesday in response to the Community Care and Recovery Act.

The recently passed law permits the closure of 10 of the 23 supervised drug consumption sites across the province that are located within 200 metres of daycares or schools.

The Ontario government said it was in response to parental concerns over community safety, giving the sites until March to relocate.

“Communities, parents, and families across Ontario have made it clear that the presence of drug consumption sites near schools and daycares is leading to serious safety concerns,” said a spokesperson for Ontario Health Minister Sylvia Jones in a statement.

“We’ve heard from families of the harassment, verbal and physical assault they have experienced walking their child to daycare or school. TikTok has filed a federal court challenge against the government over its recent order to shut down the social media company’s Canadian operations in response to privacy concerns.

The federal government ordered the closure of TikTok’s operations within the country last month, however, individual Canadians may continue to use the app.

The popular social media company is a subsidiary of ByteDance, a Beijing-based tech giant that has come under scrutiny globally for its data-sharing practices.

“This order would eliminate the jobs and livelihoods of our hundreds of dedicated local employees – who support the community of more than 14 million monthly Canadian users on TikTok, including businesses, advertisers, creators, and initiatives developed especially for Canada,” reads a statement from TikTok.

“We believe it’s in the best interest of Canadians to find a meaningful solution and ensure that a local team remains in place, alongside the TikTok platform.”

Russia’s state energy giant Rosneft has agreed to supply nearly 500,000 barrels per day of various crude grades to Indian private refiner Reliance, Reuters reported on Thursday, citing its sources. Worth roughly $13 billion a year at current prices, the energy deal is the biggest-ever between Moscow and New Delhi, the outlet said.

Under the ten-year agreement, Rosneft would deliver 20-21 Aframax-sized cargoes (80,000 to 100,000 metric tons) of various Russian crude grades plus three cargoes of about 100,000 tons each of fuel oil each month, according to persons familiar with the matter.

The shipments to Reliance’s giant refining complex at Jamnagar in the western state of Gujarat will start from January. The sides will review pricing and volumes every year under the deal, which has an option to be extended for a further ten years, the sources said.

They specified that the majority of the supply will be medium-sulphur and diesel-rich Russian Urals crude to be priced at a discount of $3 per barrel to Dubai quotes for the following year. Premiums for light sweet grades were set at around $1.50 a barrel for ESPO, the sources said, Sokol at about $2 per barrel and Siberian Light at about $1 per barrel against Dubai quotes for 2025.

The new deal reportedly accounts for roughly a half of Rosneft’s seaborne oil exports from Russian ports and amounts to 0.5% of global supply.

Asked by Reuters for a comment, Reliance said it works with international suppliers, including from Russia, and deals are based on market conditions. The company declined to give any details of commercial matters, citing the confidentiality of supply agreements. Continue…

Russia launched a massive drone and missile strike against Ukraine on Friday in retaliation for Kyiv's recent use of the US-supplied Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) against a Russian military base.

In a cute show of strength, Canada has flexed its tiny muscles for a second day in a row and in what it believes is an attempt to intimidate the Trump admin, has threatened to cut off its biggest customer from the one thing that keeps Canada's economy running (hint: it's not illegal aliens or illicit Chinese real estate funs): exports.

According to Bloomberg, Canada is examining the use of export taxes on major commodities it exports to its largest trading partner - the United States - including uranium, oil and potash, to retaliate if incoming president Trump carries out his threat to impose broad tariffs.

Today's threat comes one day after Ontario premier Doug Ford (brother to infamous, and now deceased, Toronto mayor Rob Ford) also flexed what little muscles he has under that copious shell, and suggested that the province would cut off electricity exports to the US over Trump’s tariff threat (which amounts to some 14 million MWh, or enough to power to large data centers).

Citing officials familiar with the discussions inside Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government, Bloomberg reports that export levies would be a last resort for Canada. Retaliatory tariffs against US-made goods, and export controls on certain Canadian products, would be more likely to come first.

But commodity export taxes, which would drive up costs for US consumers, farmers and businesses, would be a real option if Trump decides to start a full-scale trade war, said the Bloomberg sources. Continue…

The Alberta government will deploy a new patrol team with the Alberta sheriffs to monitor its nearly 300-kilometre border with the United States.

In a Thursday announcement, the government confirmed that the new Interdiction Patrol Team would consist of 51 officers, ten support staff, four patrol dogs, ten surveillance drones, and four narcotics analyzers.

On top of the 298 kilometres that will be monitored for drug smuggling, gun trafficking, and illegal immigration, a two-kilometre “red zone” will be created. The Interdiction Patrol Team will also monitor major provincial highways and inter-provincial travel routes to and from the border.

The officers will be trained to inspect commercial vehicles, a common vessel for human trafficking.

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith explained at a press conference that the red zone encompasses critical infrastructure and will empower sheriffs to arrest anyone deemed to be crossing the border illegally, trafficking illegal drugs or weapons without a warrant.

However, Minister of Public Safety Mike Ellis said that homeowners in the areas needn’t worry. He added that there would not be a ton of warrantless searches going on but that someone wandering in the middle of nowhere with something illicit would be subject to investigation by law enforcement.

Smith said the border enhancements are not in response to President-elect Donald Trump’s proposed tariffs.

She said that she proposed the changes back in a July 2023 mandate letter — which discussed creating a specialized sheriff-led team to combat fentanyl and illegal gun trafficking at the Alberta-U.S. border.

In an interview with Global News, Moe said that it’s time for Canadians to have a choice on who they want to represent them when dealing with the incoming Trump administration, which he said had one of the “strongest mandates in recent history.”

The Trudeau government announced an additional 324 firearms would be banned last week, with the requirement for gun owners to forfeit them to the government by October 2025 as part of a “buyback” program that hasn’t yet been finalized.

In te newly updated list of parts and components included in the scope of the confiscation program are magazines, sights and grips, bolts and a wide array of barrels. These addons went without mention during last week’s press conference announcing the updated bans.

“This is the most cynical and malevolent action yet, by the Liberal government,” executive director of the Canadian Coalition for Firearm Rights Rod Giltaca told True North.

“They banned around half a million individual firearms, refused to release the evidence they based that decision on, promised to buy them back, broke that promise, told gun owners just to replace these guns, and turned around and banned the rest of them along with the replacements.”

Prices for the parts range anywhere between $3.20 and $1,264, further driving up the cost of an already expensive taxpayer program.

A young Canadian writer and activist died after being told he wasn’t “dying” and made to wait over six hours in an emergency room for further screening.

Adam Burgoyne, 39, posted to X on Dec. 5, 2024, about his experience in a Quebec emergency room a day before his tragic death.

He said he went to the emergency room after feeling a pain in the left side of his chest, having nausea and clammy skin. After attempting to calm himself and breathe through it, things got worse and he decided to go to the emergency room.

“Had a bit of a health scare last night, but thankfully, it wasn’t a heart attack. Not sure what it was, though, because once they made sure I wasn’t dying, I was thrown out into the waiting room, and six hours later, I said f*ck it and went home,” the post said. “Canadian health care, folks. Best in the world.”

A day after the post was made, Burgoyne died of an aortic aneurysm.

The post has since garnered 13.1 million views. In the comments, he noted that the hospital conducted an electrocardiogram and took his blood pressure but “didn’t even do any blood work or x-rays,” though he speculated that they would have had he waited the “18 hours more” to be seen by a doctor.

A government report reveals another double-digit increase in choice of euthanasia option

Euthanasia continues to represent a growing proportion of the mortality rate in Canada, accounting for nearly one in every 20 deaths in the country last year, the latest government figures show.

According to Health Canada’s annual medical assistance in dying (MAID) report, released on Wednesday, 15,343 people were euthanized in the country in 2023, an all-time high. While the number represents an increase of 15.8% over 2022, it registers a drop from an average annual growth rate of about 31%, the report noted.

While the growth rate has declined, it still reveals another double-digit increase in Canadian citizens opting to end their lives under the country’s national suicide law. It is “not yet possible to make reliable conclusions about whether or not these findings represent a stabilization of growth rates over the longer term,” the MAID report added.

Federal statistics show the growth in cases of assisted death making up 4.7% of deaths in 2023, compared to 4.1% the previous year.

Australia's Sky News has routed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over remarks he made lamenting that a woman — Kamala Harris — was not elected president in the recent U.S. election.

Online influencers blasted Trudeau over his fake feminism and the needless alienation U.S. President-elect Donald Trump and millions of Americans.
