USAID is related to A-Web, a South Korean organization suspected of Electoral fraud.

A-WEB is an international non-governmental organization established in 2013 under the initiative of the National Election Commission (NEC) of South Korea. It was founded with the stated purpose of promoting the exchange of election-related information, knowledge, and experiences among countries worldwide, as well as supporting elections in developing nations.

Unusually, A-WEB, an international election-related organization created under the leadership of South Korea's NEC, has been overseeing the overseas expansion of Korea’s election system. Using Official Development Assistance (ODA) funds, it has provided free central servers for electronic voting in countries such as Fiji, Argentina, El Salvador, the Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Romania, the Dominican Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DR Congo), and Kyrgyzstan, while also facilitating the export of electronic ballot counting machines.

During this process, A-WEB’s first Secretary General, Kim Yong-hee, was investigated by the Incheon District Prosecutors’ Office over allegations that he received bundles of cash from Miru Systems, a company that supplied equipment for election-related ICT projects to election commissions worldwide.

In countries where A-WEB, created by South Korea’s NEC, supplied central servers and electronic ballot counting machines for the distribution of Korea’s electronic voting system, fraudulent election allegations and violent riots erupted. This issue became so shocking that it was even debated in the National Assembly. However, for some reason, media attention on the matter suddenly faded.

Currently, South Korea's National Election Commission is an extraconstitutional committee under the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court.
