Well the one thing I can immediately think of is that you'd handle the speed a hell of a lot better enclosed in a cabin where you can't feel the air than a completely open frame where the force acting against you has the ability to practically push you off your vehicle like a continuous brick wall. It's the reason why the Dodge Tomahawk didn't really work, sure it could get up to Dragster like speed, but how in the hell would the rider cope and how long would he be able to keep up that speed?

Part of the fun in driving a Volvo is driving it slow.

Until the turbo kicks in and you pass everyone who went around you.

Yeah, sometimes I'd prefer a run-it-til-it-dies 4valve/cylinder stroker block, but putting a motor like that in a Volvo defeats the purpose.

Also, while slow, the torque of the B230 provides crazy mobility immediately from takeoff.

I know aerodynamics might seem like witchcraft but it really isn't that hard to understand. Embed related, this guy makes it understandable.

Anyway, aerodynamic down force in an enthusiast car will always be negligible compared to the inertial forces unless you have a very, very light car (750kg and down) with a lot of power going very fast. Those stock wings you have on saloon cars, sports cars and what not?

They're Orson Welles tier of not doing anything.
