Quick question for the engineers here:
I'm planning on building a pipe car that uses suspension similar to a humvee, just all independent suspension. Why? Cos fuck me that's why.
So first off… I'm not American. So I can't get a humvee or H1 to look at. But my understanding is this: drive shaft feeds into a drive gear, then into a wheel gear, which feeds into the wheel where there is nothing but the wheel and steering column in it, and the suspension rod close to the wheel gear.
So my question is this: what size rim would I need to get an x factor of 16 inches to accomodate for this?

Driveshaft feeds the differential which is a combination of a locker and a gear. These connect to the axles which have CV joints to vary their angle which are supported by springs and struts.
