That said that does hit a bit too close to home to be an outright coincidence.

Whew lad, what year do you still live in. The mainstream meme phase is has come and gone like almost 2 years ago now, not to mention it has been popular to various degrees outside of Japan since the 00's.

Fam we got 250 collections and only like 70 or so were pure remixes. There’s enough eurobeat out there for decades of listening. Who knows, they might just start a new line of SEB collections or something. The label might be replaced with a new one that keeps Eurobeat going. Don’t worry about it baby.

I know it's not the end of eurobeat, but it sure is an end of an era.
There's approximately 1000 or so actual good tracks total out of all the SEB ones.
While that doesn't sound like a small amount, that's like 4 days worth of constant listening, if you didn't sleep.
Not to mentioned SEB started sucking towards the end, which means new eurobeat isn't going to be as good as old bangers like Save Me, or Love & Money.
I think the decline started sometime 10 years ago.
