Definetaly on the top 3 of utilitarian designs. Along with literally every pre-5th generation all wheel drive Golf.

Not breaking is part of being utilitarian, but ok, i can roll with it.
Then make way for the Seat Toledo, the car that invented the boot style Audi now calls Liftback. Also it was made on tha same base as the second gen Golf, and almost everything in it was outdated when it came out. It had the minimum required engine power to make it move with 5 passengers and 2 sacks of potatoes. Everything that was not German made broke or fell off after 5 years, but was cheap enough to be replacable ad infinitum. It still was 2nd Golf in the engine bay, so it could take you to hell and back
Also those madmen somehow fitted a limited slip FWD differential by standart on them. Just because they could.

The Fiat Panda feels like a tin can on the inside while you're traveling in it and when people see you in it they think you're a bum. At least replace those ambers with clear ones anon. Preferably just don't own a Fiat.

Owned two for quite some time, starting and running in any weather. i dont care what people think; i do like the spartan/functional look & idea behind it, plus the parts are dirt cheap. Same goes for the first 2 pictures related, Opel Kadett D and E, fucking indistructable through simplicity.

A ruined carpet after getting a few time in and out of it with muddy boots. AC is an invention only for those who volunteered to live too close to equator, so the rest of us don't have to. Also it does not need to die, it's so heavy it will get stuck in the first door-deep ditch and stay there until someone brings a tractor.

More torque and horsepower and shit, ground clearance, tires, nothing major to avoid such problems. Not saying the Fiat Panda isn't bad, I think it's the best off-roader in western Europe but you can't haul anything and has little ground clearance. What is required to meet this thread's requirement of utilitarianism.

So succinct.
So true.
I can tell you women in America can't become fertile for any man unless he is displaying an absolutely idiotic level of stupid, wasteful, no-hope-of-getting-any-return-on-his-money spending.
Their ovaries literally freeze and the eggs die in the presence of men who do not discard money like Kleenex™
The American Mating Call is stupidly wasting money on overt shows of idiotic CONSUMPTION.

Best truck coming through by your standart, then.
The Russian Ural. It's THE truck you want, if you want to cross bridgeless rivers, cut down trees with sheer force of impact (indestroyable steel bumpers) or invade a country to "uphold the rights of our fellow citizens".
And in the best American traditions, it's a V8, no turbos, 2 valves per cylinder, and it chews down minimum, empty and on road, 20 liters of 65 gasoline each 100 kilometers. That's about 11mpg . Loaded it can get 50l/100km or about 4 mpg

Nice truck but too big, needs to be smaller so it won't take up space, preferably a car that's just about the size of a Panda with better off-road capabilities and room in the back, maybe a small truck bed instead. This conversation/argument no longer means anything.

I said off-roaders not BIG TRUGZ, I should've specified I was thinking of Ford Bronco, Chevy S-10, pre-2000s Jeeps, Trackers, etc. I also said before that the Panda was a good car but struggled to off-road. That or should you learn to read.
