Can I replace of of the last two with Australian?
If i replace American:
WRX hatch
XY GT HO Falcon
Mk1 Golf or beetle, not really that into euros
if i replace the euro:
wrx hatch
Pretty much any old mid 60's - mid 70s muscle car
F6 ute
the reason i chose different aus cars for the different slots is i reckon the american and eur have a differnet feel to them - i rpelaced american with a muscle car, and the euro with a newer more modern car

On an unrelated note apparently no one who isn't a car enthusiast recognizes a gtr when they see one. Showed a picture of one to my mother and sixteen year old brother and asked them if they thought there was anything special about it and they had no fucking clue what they were looking at.
I realized that they were more subtle sports car but god damn

Also, you have to consider foreign markets where it's a it's more known as a hoon car (Australia, Japan).

European: Delta S4 Stradale. Super AND Turbocharged. As quick as a Turbo F1 car from the period it was made.
American: 1979 - 1981 Firebird. Those square headlights and domed rims are to die for. Smokey Black and Gold please. The Transam I think was the least affected/castrated of all the OG muscle cars. The Corvette was still using its late 60s platform, the Camaro was down into double digits of power, all Mopars had been discontinued as badge-engineered Japanese sedans and the Mustang? Let's not talk about what happened to the Mustang. Just erase everything after the Boss and before the McLaren M81.
Asian: Yes, that is a Japanese luxury car. Yes, it was tuned by AMG, they also did a Galant but I picked the luxury option being as I already have a rally machine. Must be comfy and powerful af.

I'm a sucker for pop-up headlights. They're the light-up shoes of the automotive world: childish and flashy and do absolutely nothing, but I can't help but feel happy for anyone who has them.
80's wedges are awesome too. Some 90's cars still manage nicely with its soft beveled edges too. I like them both. I'm not a fan of the new "angry" sharp bodies and needlessly angry headlights. It's like American video game box art. It just feels like it's angry for no reason.

For about the same price you're getting a much higher power to weight ratio and a far superior 4wd system. Pretty much the only car that's able to compete with the focus r in terms of power and technical sophistication is the A45 but that car is in a whole different price range.

The Ford Laser never got a Ford-badged USDM model… It came as a Mazda Protege5. You would own two of the same car with different badges.

I'd wager it was a case of the protege 5 coming as a ford laser in europe and not the ford coming as a mazda in the us, because under the skin it was a Mazda BJ platform, not a ford CT120 or C1 or C170

Certainly possible. I think Ford has used Mazda engines in USDM models before. It seems that every generation of Laser shared at least engines and a production plant with the Familia/323/Protege. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Laser
Something else that is interesting:
>The Mazda B-Series and Ford Ranger models sold in North America were developed by Ford, whereas models sold elsewhere under the same badge were engineered by Mazda.

Yeah, the P5 was released in most countries as Mazda P5, but in New Zealand and maybe Australia it was a Ford Laser. Same exact car with some aesthetic changes. it says Ford though so it counts
