What's wrong with that?

I once saw someone drive a Skoda pickup truck. It almost caused an accident because everyone was staring at it.

But there are many people who work not from 9 to 5 jobs, but all day every day field work. If i could i would daily a truck too. My Audi can hardly fit 5 workers and 10 full-sized bags. It ain't easy to carry a small business on a car, but pickup trucks do it the best.

For a second I got really confused but then I remembered even the behemoth of pic related is considered a "compact" truck in burgerland, and you must view stuff like the Toyota in OP's post like how a person sees a midget for the first time, except the "midget" in this case is something like 5'10".

A modern truck is big and comfy and gives you loads of space in the cab and a high elevated view of traffic, can handle shitty weather and roads really well, and is a lot safer than a car due to the sheer size and toughness. Even if you never use the bed or towing capabilities, a modern pickup truck with a nice interior and good suspension is one of the best luxury vehicles you can get.

Doing a lot of boring highway driving that often takes anywhere from 6 to 9 hours I've found that even my shitty barebones work F350 with almost nonexistent suspension is way, way more comfortable than driving a regular car, no matter how nice, just because the massive amount of leg room and the position of the seats and overall shape of the space you occupy in a truck allows you to stay much more comfortable for very long trips than you would crammed into a sedan or something.

Now take that kind of comfy space and shape and give it the trappings of a nice high trim level pickup and you have probably the best vehicle for super long drives - way more comfy than any luxury brand car and still at a fraction of the cost. More costly on the gas, sure, but that only matters to poorfags who'll be driving some ricemobile and can't afford a nice pickup to begin with.

Also, you get to ride with the knowledge that you're pissing off all the insecure tiny-dicked soyboys who're frightened by trucks and are butthurt that anyone drives them.

Congratulations, you brown fuck. Fucking "casual" truck drivers like you are the reason El Camino was ever conceived, and the reason it will probably be revived. Fuck off, and die.

>claims a truck is confortable because of size

You seem like a regular overweight american driver. I drove small European cars (i.e. VW Polo) for thousands of kilometers on the same trip without feeling cramped as you said.

>claims a truck is more luxurious than a sedan

You obviously never seen luxury in your life. Once there's a shitload of plastic, you car can't be upper trim. Deal with it.

Also for very long drives trucks are very loud and that's not comfortable. My ears are in pain just in the idea of driving one for hundreds of kilometers.

>claims a truck is better on shitty roads

I am not trying to protect the burgerman, but that comment about motorways is just plain offensive.

I would drive a truck if there were any decent ones sold in Yurop. But there are none. And the ones that are are expensive. I daily on dirt roads in my mid-size sedan, and the noise makes it difficult to speak, the car wobbles around on rocks, and my butt feels every little hole in the road.

SUVs are the same bag, they are stupid.

>I drove small European cars (i.e. VW Polo) for thousands of kilometers on the same trip without feeling cramped as you said.

Confirmed for manlet.

>You obviously never seen luxury in your life. Once there's a shitload of plastic, you car can't be upper trim. Deal with it.

The sheer amount of space and the better seating configuration of a truck means that even a rough shitty truck covered in plastic will be more comfortable than some overpriced kraut car. It doesn't matter how premium the materials it's made of, your car isn't comfortable on long drives unless you're some kind of manlet with stubby little legs.

>Also for very long drives trucks are very loud and that's not comfortable.

Poorly built european trucks maybe. American pickups are only loud when you're revving them.

>Sorry I can't hear you over my perfect motorways

And confirmed for urbanite who shudders at the idea of going out into the woods to fish and hunt, where you would indeed have to go down some bush roads. Not that you could even if you wanted to since Europe has no actual wilderness, just sad little curated remains of forests.

You obviously have no idea how Europe is, don't you? It's been civilized for so long that even the most remote forest has an accessible road for a race car. And there's so few occasion to go off road that I don't ser why I should have a truck as a regular man and not a specialized worker.

You guys are tearing my soul apart. Europe is not only wester/central, there is also northen and baltic europe.

France might have motorways covering everything. Not so much in Baltics. Baltics need trucks. But VW Caddy is the closest we have.

Luxury is relative. Frenchie thinks luxury is fancy materials and sound dampening. I think luxury is comfyness and space.

If luxury was space, then why don't you buy a Renault Kangoo?

Pickup market in Europe is different than in US. In US, it is just accepted that you can and will buy a truck designed for hard work and hauling stuff for daily groceries.

Is Europe, i have to go over and beyond to get anything designed for work, and even further to get something that is comfy as well.

Renault a shit. Amarok is expensive. There is very little market for japanese imports in Baltics, let alone cheap used japanese pickup trucks. VW LT series revive when. Fucking great vehicles.
