Hi /o/, /pol/lac/k/ here.
With all of these BLM roadblock-type "protests" going on, I think it's probably not a bad idea to invest in a grill guard of some sort.
I currently drive a 2001 Toyota Rav4 2.0L FWD. What would I need to look to protect most in the event that I need to break through a human wave? Would a simple bar coming up from the undercarraige to cover the radiator be sufficient, or should I get something a bit more substantial? I'm not overly worried about replacing my headlights; they're pretty cheap assemblies.

Or would I even need one if I'm just sort of "pushing" through a crowd at 5-25mph?

Chances are it wouldn't matter too much unless it was massive - members of the crowd would probably have blunt objects to hit your car with.
Your best bet would be to get one as wide as the bumper and weld blades to it, or just get a larger (mostly taller) vehicle so you can run them over.
The best way to avoid damage to the vehicle in all cases is to go as fast as possible.

Gotcha. So just try to power through it?
I'm in a gun friendly state, so I'd be carrying a compact handgun with at least a few spare mags with me on the way to any event that BLM might try to blockade.
I guess I can just shoot any google dumb enough to hop on my hood and try to pound their way through my windshield. Rip my fucking ears though if it does come to that.

That's what I would do.

Whatever you do just don't open your windows under any circumstances, regardless of speed. That will give them a chance to try to jump in/hit you/throw something in the car. Only use the gun in the event of
>any google dumb enough to hop on my hood and try to pound their way through my windshield
and only once you are away from the crowd and safe from the aforementioned dangers.

Even if you don't mind some damage to your car, you definitely don't want the airbag going off during this. So yes, you should get some kind of sturdy protection for the front end.

I didn't think of this. Are airbag sensors that sensitive?

you could get something without airbags that for sure would crush niggers to death without you even noticing.
as a nice bonus if yu pick a diesel you can gas them afterwards.

I work at an autoparts store and these Iron Cross bumpers seem sturdy enough to nigger mow. And you can always do the carmageddon thing of just throwing spikes on it. I'd say learn to weld and get to work.

You don't need to say what boards you're from, anon. We don't care.
Speed is the ticket, really. Weight doesn't matter a huge amount. A car that can hit 300km/h will be better than one that can do 100km/h but weighs twice as much.

Maybe not (at least in theory). But this would be a pretty shitty way to find out.

Depends on the age of the car and sophistication of tech. Some can be set off by kicking the front bumper, some are smart enough to recognize the amount of force required to damage the driver. My car is from the 80s and I jumped a creek and landed bumper-first on the other side and the airbags never went off.

2001 Toyota Rav4 2.0L
I've been in one accident with it where I rear-ended somebody. The airbag light went on, but the airbags didn't deploy. The impact was at around 15-20mph I think, so I should be okay with running through crowds of chimps.
Also, OP here. I didn't realize how fucking slow this board is. Holy shit.
