This is a thread for Void lore of any kind, but is also for your personal experiences as void dwellers. Real or imagined, doesn't matter.. We are all lost here.
I have some stories, however I will be away/preoccupied for the next week or two

For example, have any funny/interesting/existential stories about awkward conversations/interactions with normal type pokepeople? Do you live in your own world that no one can empathize with or even remotely relate to? Feel free to vent your human pains and frustrations with your fellow void-brothers here! :D

I'd wish those elder fucks in the sky can shut the fuck up when I'm trying to Sleep.
Yeah yeah, makes for great atmosphere in the day, and they kinda provide light with their glowey eyes but c'mon.
Maybe my Sleep schedule is off?

The one I am working on currently is going to be about an anon plagued with apathy and severe depression. After hitting a breaking point he loses the will/desire to carry on, he essentially says "fuck it" and jumps into the sky. Drifting through the infinite void, he will encounter a variety of void beings. I can't really say much more than that without spoiling it though.

Speaking of which, I never saw any lore that states a person can't survive in the sky. I'm assuming it's just as plausible as anything else, however if it has been established that the sky is as inhospitable as the actual vaccum of space then I will make the necessary adjustments to the story. The protagonist goes in not knowing what will happen anyway so I won't have to change a whole lot, but enough to want to make sure before I start the final draft.

Last night I dreamt of something I destinctly remember as the:
Whale of infinite hunger
A whale that came to me as one of many relentless beasts in a nightmare I had last night. It came through the city streets as a malicious wave, where it'd take the form of a blue whale with a voracious apettite for anything and everything. Appendages would shoot out of it every which way and hunt for food. each appendage would devour every organic organism in its reach. Within my dream, I lured this creature into the den of demons where it devoured all that fuelled my nightmare. However, after that, massive horrifying creatures spawned in the city, forcing us to flee. What is this whale? Is it a good or bad entity? It did try to eat my team..
Does is have a place in the oceans of our lore?

Yes.
I would call it something along the lines of "The Consumer". I'm up to spitball some ideas here.

Speaking of dead, I should probably whip myself back to life and finish a chapter of story already. Lest my thread should also die.

>Become interested in mindfulness.
>Read a bit about spirituality.
>Become interested in the same way that you become interested in an amusing concept.
>Eventually realize that things I've struggled to express to others are described in them.
>Begin seeing connections of spirituality, metaphorical demons, the void, the self and the beyond.
>Realize that in order to move on and not suffer, I have to accept that I'm incredibly flawed and insignificant.
I can't guarantee that any of this will help anyone understand anything about multidimensional thought but it's almost like something we always had. We had it until we decided that all of our little tasks that need to be done mattered more. We threw ourselves away for the sake of objects and complex interactions with other human beings. The complexity of it all is staggering and I know that I'll never come close to understanding any of it. From what I've gathered, the void is a good place where nothing of strain will ever exist. It's like a fly trap, though. If you spend too much time in the void you may just find yourself becoming complacent with dwelling there forever. Not that it's a bad thing.
Using that train of thought, I hypothesized that voidlings are spirits that are simply passing through or have taken an odd course of ascending to higher consciousness, which makes sense considering that once things become dull, the universe balances it out.
Awareness is key, the difference between a lost spirit and one who sheds his skin to the reveal the unmodified spirit within.

It's beginning to feel like I have many paths to take, all will provide an experience. I am not to judge if it is good or bad, for I know nothing and will never know anything more then nothing. I am not incompetent, I am just aware that I am not the competent mind. I am not the mind. I am the observer of all sensation. Once you become the observer and shed away the body that experiences pain, like cooked meat from a bone, you will know your true body.

Insightful observations man, have you done a dark retreat before? If so I could really use some thoughts on that.

I might have forgotten my trip code, but I'm back with more information I've gathered through constructing an understanding of the occult through gauging my internal world. I'm beginning to see repeating themes in a majority of the world's religions and shamanic practices.
I factored in that I grew up around my parents, which took me to various groups of adult friends that were into those sorts of things. Infact, because of who my father is as a person, I doubted everything spiritual or unexplainable as a means to not turn out like him. But I eventually found that aspects of my self and certain phenomenon would reveal themselves to me and all of my emotions were transitioning in various ways to help explain them. This introduced me to my first understandings of multi-dimensional thought. Which I've come to understand is something like an intent becoming an experience. It might be what people refer to when they say that the mind is all. Escape the mundane world. You want to escape this for a reason, because you're human.

My sensory issues caused me to seek out very non-stimulating places throughout my adolescence. There was no other way to alienate the overwhelming fear and senses. Dark retreat sounds nice, I think I've always wanted one on some level. I have this urge to strip myself from who I am simply so that I don't have to worry about the complexities of existence as a means to prolong and make my life more prosperous.
