I think that the "fake" world he posits is not fake as it were but merely intangible, mathematic analysis as he mentions it works, meaning math is true and affects the tangible world, intangible things such as culture are real.
I do agree with him that the tangible world operates much differently then the intangible, and learning only the intangible rules (for example, if you lived your whole life in cities) would result an an individual detached from tangible reality, and would be frankly retarded
I also posit that psychedelics wouldnt be the best option for showing someone this, as I imagine it breaks down both sets of rules and inconstantly at that, but I have little experience in this regard

As do Love, Mercy, Compassion, Wisdom, etc.
Wander long enough, and you might find either.
Yet, a word of caution, beyond the perception of your mortal ken, in the deepest reaches of the Abyss, beings of indescribable horror writhe and coil. Pull too hard on their strings… and they will come like a spider crawling on a web of its own making.
