Moody's Downgrades US Credit Rating Due To Government Debt Insolvency

Moody's Rating Agency just downgraded the Government of United States of America's (US) long-term issuer and senior unsecured ratings to AA1 from AAA and changed the outlook to stable from negative.

The one-notch cut comes more than a year after Moody’s changed its outlook on the US rating to negative, with Moody's joining Fitch Ratings and S&P Global Ratings in grading the world’s biggest economy below the top, triple-A position.

This one-notch downgrade on our 21-notch rating scale reflects the increase over more than a decade in government debt and interest payment ratios to levels that are significantly higher than similarly rated sovereigns.

“Successive US administrations and Congress have failed to agree on measures to reverse the trend of large annual fiscal deficits and growing interest costs. We do not believe that material multi-year reductions in mandatory spending and deficits will result from current fiscal proposals under consideration. Over the next decade, we expect larger deficits as entitlement spending rises while government revenue remains broadly flat. In turn, persistent, large fiscal deficits will drive the government's debt and interest burden higher.”

Over more than a decade, US federal debt has risen sharply due to continuous fiscal deficits. As deficits and debt have grown, and interest rates have risen, interest payments on government debt have increased markedly.

Some like to blame the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, others like to blame Trump's tariffs and MAGA voters like to blame industrial outsourcing. However, the primary and root problem always was, and continues to be, the ever-expanding US national debt which has become economically unsustainable.

97e1d7 No.315041 [Open Thread]

On March 12, 2025, the truth behind the widely discussed “Desai Battery Incident” was finally revealed! A young Han man took a stand and single-handedly secured rights for all the employees at the factory, but his path ahead is bound to be challenging.

This young man, from the Desai Battery Factory in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, posted a video online revealing that from 8:30 p.m. on January 22, 2025, to 6:30 a.m. the next day, he worked continuously for nearly 10 hours. However, the company informed him that he had not worked the required 10 hours, erasing his attendance record and deducting three days' salary.

After this incident was exposed, the young man also revealed multiple issues within the factory, including failure to record attendance for Sunday overtime and no overtime pay for temporary workers.

According to relevant laws, overtime work should be clearly defined: any work beyond the standard working hours is considered overtime, and employees are entitled to overtime pay. Furthermore, overtime should be voluntary, and refusal to work overtime should not result in any wage deduction.

In addition, there have been rumors that Desai Battery supplies products to several Western companies, including the well-known tech giant Apple. This has raised further concerns, with people questioning Desai Battery’s management and corporate responsibility.

The incident has sparked widespread attention, not only highlighting the difficult circumstances faced by grassroots workers but also exposing the need for stronger labor rights protection mechanisms. Although the young man has achieved a partial victory, his future path remains fraught with challenges. The public and relevant authorities will continue to monitor the progress of this case.https://cj.sina.cn/article/norm_detail?url=https%3A%2F%2Ffinance.sina.com.cn%2Ftech%2Froll%2F2025-03-13%2Fdoc-inepnuep0752435.shtml&from=redirect

Under a system that claims to “serve the people,” workers in Communist China are trapped in grueling labor conditions masked as “voluntary overtime.” Behind the illusion of socialist values lies the harsh reality of physical and mental exploitation, particularly for Han Chinese workers.

Take a listed ultra-hard materials company in Zhengzhou, Henan Province as an example. Workers are required to work 12 hours a day, every day of the month, with a monthly wage of about 6,000 yuan — roughly €760 or $830 USD (as of May 2025 exchange rates). While this may appear to be a livable income, it translates to only around $2.70 per hour, far below minimum wages in developed nations.

The irony is stark: such systemic exploitation is happening in a country that proclaims itself led by the working class. Machines never stop, but the people collapse. For 300 hours of labor per month, workers receive not dignity but silence, illness, and erasure.

Critics argue that China’s so-called “socialist core values” are hollow when capital and political power collude to exploit labor. The slogan “working for the happiness of the people” stands in sharp contrast to the grim reality of relentless labor and voiceless workers.

This institutionalized injustice is not only a violation of labor laws but a testament to the hypocrisy and internal imbalance of the system. As workers remain locked in the prison of time, who will stand up for their rights? The world is watching: how much longer can Communist China deceive itself — and everyone else?

Pakistan Government Tells Citizens To Prepare Two Months Food Rations Far Too Late

Pakistan has ordered citizens living on the border with India to have 2 months supply of food and water, due to the possibility of war with India.

For two weeks now, Pakistan and India have been openly moving troops, tanks, artillery and attack aircraft into positions for war. Notice where their citizen's well-being came into the picture? LAST!! Long after the military moves were done.

I try to explain this reality to people here in the US, when I recommend they prepare. Instead of taking the advice, I get pushback:

The "it's a nothingburger" crowd describes each and every potential trouble situation as a "nothingburger." They can always be relied upon to do nothing. They're the one's who will cry the loudest when a situation arises and they are not prepared.

Next comes the "Chicken Little, the sky is falling" crowd, who also do nothing but push back on ME saying I'm Chicken Little, the sky is falling. Like the Nothingburger crowd, these people will also whine loudly when the time comes and they, too, have nothing because they did nothing to prepare.

Lastly, there's the "Fear Porn / Click Bait" crowd of nitwits, who view everything in the world as if there's monetary gain involved. They email me saying I'm engaging in "fear porn" and just doing it "to get clicks." Of course, none of these nitwits bother to notice there are NO ADS on this site, and NOTHING FOR SALE. So I don't get any money for "clicks" and I don't earn any commission on sales because there's nothing for sale!

It might be interesting to see how many in Pakistan follow the advice. We'll know which one's didn't when we see their dead bodies laying all over - just like it would be here in the US with the nitwits I described above.

Widespread Unrest Hits China Over US Tariff Layoffs, UNPAID WAGES, Incoming Shortages For US

Widespread unrest has erupted across China as President Donald Trump's steep tariffs devastate the nation's export-driven economy, triggering factory closures, unpaid wages, and massive protests by workers, The Daily Caller reported.

Riots and mass protests are spreading across China as economic fallout from Trump's tariffs pushes the nation's manufacturing sector to the brink, shuttering factories and leaving millions of workers without pay. From industrial zones near Shanghai to the remote edges of Inner Mongolia, workers have taken to the streets demanding back pay and denouncing mass layoffs. The unrest comes amid a sharp drop in Chinese export orders.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Huang Deming, a garment exporter in southern China, has already laid off 30% of his staff after losing three U.S. clients. Qian Xichao, a textile factory manager, described cutthroat conditions in the domestic market. "To be frank, personally speaking, all we can do is go out and look for new opportunities," Qian told the Journal.

The labor unrest mirrors the protests in 2022 during President Xi Jinping's strict COVID-19 lockdowns. At the time, government forces suppressed demonstrations through violent crackdowns. Analysts expect similar responses now as economic instability threatens the regime's control.

Trade War Crisis Begins! Ports And Ocean Container Ships Have EMPTIED!

This image above is the Port of Seattle on Sunday, April 27, 2025, EMPTY. This is the 4th busiest port in the nation. Inbound freight from China has STOPPED. Supply-chain disruption will now begin, nationwide. The container yard at Seattle? EMPTY.

Anyone who has spent time in Seattle can tell you that these docks are always PACKED and the Puget Sound is usually overrun with waiting cargo vessels.

There are presently ZERO cargo ships docked or en-route. There are ZERO containers in the yard, and there are ZERO trucks waiting to haul cargo. Remember what I told all of you about stocking up on stuff and arbitraging it later once the shelves were emptied? Well… we're just about there. I explicitly warned you that this precise event - halt of inbound shipments - was coming over a week ago: https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/news-selections/world-news/the-coming-shortages-get-what-you-need-now-theres-no-avoiding-whats-already-happened

Even if this global trade war is ended tomorrow, it will take a minimum of 30 to 55 days, but more likely at 7-9 months, to normalize supply chains and have available product again. And that's if everybody calls it off immediately. 40% of cargo vessels leaving China today (vessels that were already paid to make the journey, whether there is a reason to or not) are traveling completely empty.

Inbound Shipping container volume is down 80%

It wouldn't be the worst idea right now to go through your entire house and identify anything it is you feel you need but don't yet have, anything you have that might be on its last legs and in need of future repair or replacement, or things you feel you won't be able to procure going forward because everything is categorized as "backordered - indefinite."

Debt Slave Son Of CIA Deputy Director Killed In Ukraine Fighting For Russia

A thought-provoking new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Donald Trump said about his special envoy Steve Witcoff’s three hour talks with President Putin yesterday: “Witkoff had a good meeting”, says he then told reporters aboard Air Force One: “Just landed in Rome… A good day in talks and meetings with Russia and Ukraine… They are very close to a deal, and the two sides should now meet, at very high levels, to finish it off… Most of the major points are agreed to” — all of which was joined by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov observing: “The negotiations continue, and until the end of the negotiations we cannot disclose what they are about… We are really polite people, and unlike some others, we never discuss in public what is being discussed in negotiations… Otherwise, negotiations are not serious… We consider serious proposals… We make serious proposals, and this is a process, which is not supposed to be public until the end of it”.

Not mentioned in the CIA statement about the death of CIA Deputy Director Juliane Gallina’s son, this report details, is the truth that Michael Gloss was killed by Ukraine on 4 April 2024 while he was fighting for Russia, with his funeral held in the United States on 21 December 2024, eight months after his death — far from Gloss having “struggled with mental health issues” like the CIA claimed, he had fled the United States after being crushed by the over $60,000 yearly tuition payments he borrowed to attend the socialist indoctrination center College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor-Maine to obtain a worthless degree — Gloss traveled the world raging against the American military-industrial-complex that creates debt slaves to use in its wars — and after arriving in Russia, it saw Gloss signing a contract to join the Russian military and fight against American tyranny in Ukraine.

The creation of military age American debt slaves like CIA Deputy Director Juliane Gallina's now dead son Michael Gloss, this report notes, was instituted by socialist Democrat Party leader President Bill Clinton, who created and signed the barbaric law outlawing young people from ever being able to declare bankruptcy on their outlandish college debt — debt slave Americans are now posting heartbreaking viral videos about how their college debt is doubling even though they keep making payments — and it was revealed this past week: “More than a third of all graduates now say their degree was a “waste of money”, according to a new survey by Indeed”.

Very Good! Trump Stops World War III, Rejects Ukraine Weapons And Israeli War Plans

President Donald Trump does not want to deliver more weapons to Ukraine. According to Germany's "Bild" Magazine, he rejected a deal with Ukraine worth $50 billion. Trump is more interested in negotiations with Putin than in making money from arms deliveries, the German newspaper adds.

This is Good! news for American taxpayers. The solid majority of voters in 2024 voted for Trump to get America OUT of this senseless war and to prevent a World War, a war we are not militarily or financially fit to fight anymore. A war that would be horrible for all citizens of the world.

https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/news-selections/world-news/trump-rejects-50-billion-weapons-deal-for-ukraine

Even better! President Donald Trump blocked a planned Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear sites in favor of negotiating a deal with Iran to limit its nuclear program, the New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing administration officials and others.

Israel had developed plans to attack the sites in May, according to the newspaper, which added that the goal was to set back Iran's ability to develop a nuclear weapon by a year or more.

Trump made his decision after months of internal debate over whether to pursue diplomacy or throwing America into another neo-con war for Israeli affairs. Thank God Trump made the right decision.

First Tariff Shock Set To Hit Port Of Los Angeles With Ripple Effects Across Economy

Ocean freight transit times from Shanghai to Los Angeles typically range from 14 to 40 days, with faster services—such as CMA CGM's expedited routes—delivering containers in as little as three weeks. With 145% tariffs now applied to most Chinese imports, the full economic impact will likely emerge with a lag of about a month or more as reduced import volumes and supply chain disruptions begin to take effect. Early high-frequency indicators already suggest those disruptions are imminent.

Let's review the key trade war developments since President Trump, following "Liberation Day" on April 2, announced a tsunami of tariff hikes on Chinese imports to 145% on April 11.

Adding to the conversation, FreightWaves CEO Craig Fuller posted on X that trucking activity at the LA Port, the largest container port in the Western Hemisphere, has just plunged.

“Year-over-year trucking activity out of Los Angeles down 23%. It will likely drop to 50% in the coming weeks if there isn't trade war resolution. Massive layoffs coming to the West Coast trucking sector.”

The White House has put itself and the country in a bad situation but doesn’t realize it yet. Around April 10th China-to-USA trade shut down over Tariffs.

It takes ~30 days for ocean shipping containers to go from China to Los Angeles. ~45 days to Houston by sea. ~45 days to Chicago by train. ~55 days to New York by sea.

That means that there are still no economic / supply-chain effects of what was done on April 10th until about May 10th.

All this will start in the Los Angeles area. After about 2 weeks, it’ll start hitting Chicago and Houston.

Let’s say the White House, after 3 weeks, changes its mind, on May 31st. “This isn’t working out like we thought it would. Tariffs back to 0.” Let’s say China says “bygones be bygones, we’ll go back to how things were”. Let’s say every factory in China that got screwed by their orders being cancelled says the same thing “no problem, we’ll make and ship.”

The problem is, even under the most favorable conditions of China and the factories restarting economic ties as though nothing happened, it will be at least another 30 days before economic activity is revived. And that’s just in LA. In Chicago/Houston, you’ll need to wait another 45 days after the manufacturing/shipping restart.

The whole situation is a bit like the COVID lockdowns. Once you shut down, it takes a long time to get economic activity back to where it was, if you ever can.

I began warning you of this last week. I even posted stories about it, strongly suggesting you get the products you need and get done: the repairs of things like cars, and replacement of things like Home Appliances, while there is still stock of those items here in the USA. I warned, the freight activity here in the US is already dropping like a rock, and that means inventories are being drawn-down. Things are going to start running ouPost too long. It won't be a huge problem IF America can get our manufacturing base back and eventually mass produce essential utilities and consumer goods for Americans here in America. That is a big *IF…. the problem is the global supply chain relies on so many different nations trading commodities with one another and like it or not China is a BIG trade ally….. just like America has a MASSIVE consumer base which props up China on the other end of the trade. So if we rely on cheap Chinese steel and we can no longer import the steel due to high tariffs, steel prices will go way up and that means lots of utility and consumer goods prices go way up. Much higher prices, possibly becoming unaffordable. We'll need US steel to massively up their production and refinery to offset the price inflation and supply chain crisis. Think of the same with any other commodity too: oil, natural gas, coal, lithium, lumber, zinc, nickel, aluminum, copper, silver, titanium, uranium, plutonium, rare earth metals, agricultural produce, on and on.

In the long-run it will be good for trade workers and the domestic manufacturing base, in the short term get ready for very high prices and a supply chain crisis.

War Criminal Bill Gates To Profit From Deranged UK Government Project To Block Sunlight

The corrupt and murderous UK government is poised to approve controversial geo-engineering experiments within weeks, costing £50 million, to reflect sunlight away from Earth using chemtrail technology. Backed by Bill Gates, these trials position him to reap millions in profits as the UK pushes to lead global efforts in manipulating the planet’s climate.

The Advanced Research and Invention Agency (Aria) is spearheading the funding to establish the UK as a pioneer in geoengineering research, according to the Daily Mail and other sources. The initiative aims to advance techniques that alter atmospheric conditions, sparking debate over the environmental and ethical implications of such large-scale interventions.

“It's May next week and in the UK it's cold and cloudy and raining. People are paying hundreds of pounds a month to heat small homes. Yet here comes the government saying they're going to spend £50 million on blocking out The Sun… Absolutely DERANGED.”

The environment is being destroyed, and not by common citizens or cow farts… it is being destroyed by demonic satanists like Bill Gates and corrupt governments who relish in bloodlust, democide and treason.

The reports outline that the experiments will focus on Sunlight Reflection Methods (SRM), including Stratospheric Aerosol Injection (SAI) and Marine Cloud Brightening (MCB).

SAI involves injecting tiny reflective particles, such as sulphur dioxide, into the stratosphere to mimic the cooling effect of volcanic eruptions, while MCB uses ships to spray sea-salt particles into low-lying clouds to enhance their reflectivity.

TREASON! FEMA Stole $59,000,000 And Gave It To Illegal Invaders Instead of Helping Disaster Victims

Elon Musk's team of mid-20s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) disruptors has once again found wasteful spending—this time focusing on a $59 million payment sent by the Federal Emergency Management Agency to luxury hotels across New York City housing illegal aliens.

"The DOGE team just discovered that FEMA sent $59M LAST WEEK to luxury hotels in New York City to house illegal migrants," Musk wrote on X early Monday morning.

Musk explained, "Sending this money violated the law and is in gross insubordination to the President's executive order," adding, "That money is meant for American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high end hotels for illegals!" Musk did not specify which luxury NYC hotels received FEMA funding for migrants last week but noted that a "clawback demand will be made today to recoup those funds."

Trump needs to shut this Unconstitutional Anti-American and Treasonous agency down for good! Aid should be provided to the States and emergencies should be handled by locals from now on, as they used to be when America was America.

EU Losing Soldiers & Recruits Over Ukraine Deployment Fears As Zelensky Defies Peace Talks

Departures from the Czech army have risen by 40% annually since 2022, according to the Novinky news outlet

The Czech army is losing a growing number of experienced soldiersover fears that they could be deployed to Ukraine, Defense Minister Jana Cernochova has claimed.

“For some people, the reason for leaving was the war in Ukraine,” Cernochova said, as cited by Novinky.

She added that some soldiers were unsettled by speculation about future military missions.“Because of the societal climate, when various observers have been threatening mobilization for years and soldiers will be sent to Ukraine, for some people that was the reason why they took off their uniform,” Cernochova argued.

According to Novinky, departures from the Czech army have risen by 40% annually since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022. In 2024, 1,370 professional soldiers left the military. That figure was 1,200 in 2023 and 1,337 the year before. Prior to 2022, departures typically ranged from 800 to 1,000 annually.

As for Trump's plan to negotiate peace and put an end to this senseless war, Ukraine’s talks with the US ended in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They did not go well. At all.

The Deputy head of Zelensky's office, Palisa, refused to comment on the progress of the negotiations. He only said that the Ukrainian delegation would NOT meet with the Russian delegation in Riyadh.

Meanwhile, Zelensky himself is making the rounds via Social Media, and he seems to be saying all the WRONG things: https://x.com/amuse/status/1903767954191216937

This is precisely - exactly - what to say if he wants the war to CONTINUE!

The US Government And Their Bird Flu Fear Mongering Is To Blame For High Egg Prices

The US government's response to avian influenza, something that has existed forever in the bird population and is not deadly to humans with decent immune systems, is driving egg prices to record highs.

Since 2022, the US poultry industry has been heavily affected by the US government's response to outbreaks of H5N1, a virus that is only deadly to SOME birds with weaker immune systems.

Public health officials are responding to bird flu cases using similar strategies to the COVID-19 pandemic, causing massive supply chain disruptions and thus, hyperinflation:

https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2025/02/28/bird-flu-deja-vu-from-the-covid-playbook.aspx

The United States’ top egg-producing states — Iowa, Ohio, and Indiana — have lost more than 62 million birds because of culling since the beginning of the State-run propaganda scare.

The price of eggs has driven the corrupt Department of Agriculture (USDA) to double down on their stupidity and increasing intervention against egg farms, leading to even higher egg prices! According to Consumer Price Index data published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the price of eggs rose by 53 percent between January 2024 and January 2025. During the same period, the average price of “fresh and frozen chicken parts” rose by just 0.8 percent. Layers of all ages are dying or being depopulated, leading to a long wait for farms to get back online.

Agricultural economists who spoke with The Epoch Times earlier in February said the main reason egg prices are so high currently is the sheer number of birds being killed, because the virus was discovered in a flock:

Egg prices began coming down when the DoJ hinted that they might think about investigating egg producers for collusion and price fixing. That’s literally all it took.

The real story isn’t that they were colluding and price gouging. That’s apparent, and to be expected. The real story, and the reason it was dropped the instant it happened, is because no one in any kind of position of power ever faces consequences in the US.

Yah, we need to enforce Anti-trust laws once again. The only reason America sustained a free market decades ago was because we had a government willing to crackdown on corruption and enforce Anti-trust laws to break up corporate monopolies. Fair competition is a good thing. When you get giant monopolies like we have today they start using unfair practices further screwing consumers because consumers lack other options in the market place.
