On Sunday evening, President Donald Trump announced that former Secret Service agent and conservative talk show host Dan Bongino will become the new deputy director of the FBI - the agency that helped Obama and Hillary Clinton lyingly slander Donald Trump with the "Russia Collusion" hoax - which included fake leaks to the press, fabricating evidence, outright lies and die-hard deep state servants who vowed to destroy America.

And now - Bongino and newly minted FBI Director Kash Patel are in charge, which is not sitting well with current and former agency officials - or deep state journalists like NBC's Ken Dilanian, who reports that the FBI Agents Association struck out against Bongino's selection.

The announcement sent shock waves through the FBI, whose new director Kash Patel had offered Republican senators private assurances that he would name a special agent with bureau experience to be his deputy, rather than a political outsider. Patel was sworn in at the White House on Friday.

Leaders of the FBI Agents Association, who met with Patel in January, said the new director had agreed that the deputy should be a current special agent.

Ken Dilanian falsely complained on X that Bongino "has never spent a day working at the FBI, but he has spent many hours spouting baseless falsehoods about the bureau." Americans all know the so-called "baseless falsehoods" are absolutely true, the FBI was weaponized against American voters and their President.

The preliminary results of Azerbaijan’s investigation into the deadly crash of a civilian airliner point to the plane being hit by a Russian antiaircraft missile, or shrapnel from it, said people briefed on the probe.

Azerbaijan’s initial findings came quickly after aviation experts said visible damage to the Azerbaijan Airlines flight—carrying 62 passengers and five crew members—was evidence that it was hit by a munition. The crash killed 38 people, and left 29 survivors, some of whom said they heard a loud explosion that preceded the flight’s problems.

Flight 8243 to Grozny in Russia’s Chechnya region from the Azeri capital Baku suddenly diverted course when flying over a part of Russia where the military had been shooting down Ukrainian drones. The plane went down in western Kazakhstan near the Caspian Sea city of Aktau. Of the survivors, many were in critical condition at hospitals.

The people familiar with the probe said Russia diverted the plane from its airspace and had its GPS jammed. They said Azerbaijan was deliberating over a response to the crash.

Neither the country’s civil aviation agency nor the presidential office responded to requests for comment.

Mr. Marocco was seen entering the building separately from DOGE officials, according to video posted online, and the security official said he was briefly in the building.

Thursday’s takeover of the small foundation, which has about 55 employees and an annual budget of about $45 million, came after a weeks-long standoff between administration officials and the foundation’s leaders. The leaders refused to succumb to the efforts of Mr. Marocco and the Department of Government of Efficiency team, overseen by Elon Musk, to assume control of their functions, dismiss staff members and install Mr. Marocco as the acting leader.

DOJ, ATF Ignoring Trump's EO Rescinding Biden's Unconstitutional Anti-2A Policy

The Department of Justice is currently pursuing criminal charges in the US District Court for the District of Columbia, for possession of a handgun equipped with a pistol stabilizing brace, in the case US v. Taranto.

In response, Gun Owners of America and our friends at the Firearms Regulatory Accountability Coalition (FRAC) are urging the Department of Justice to drop that charge, which sets a dangerous precedent for the millions of Americans who possess up to 40 million such firearms.

In 2021, the communist Biden regime tasked the ATF with targeting and cracking down on firearms equipped with accessories known as "pistol braces."

For years, ATF approved the devices for use on pistols of all kinds, and promised that the mere attachment of such accessories to handguns did not transform them into short-barreled rifles. That was until the Biden regime decided to target pistol braces for elimination at the behest of Anti-American billionaire donors. To do this, ATF decided to reclassify virtually all pistols with stabilizing braces as "short-barreled rifles" falling under the regulation of the 1934 National Firearms Act and requiring registration.

But thanks to numerous lawsuits from groups like Gun Owners of America, FRAC, and others, Biden's pistol brace rule is currently enjoined by numerous courts and even vacated by one.

Translation from legalese? Biden's rule is no longer in effect, and ATF has been ordered not to enforce it.

Zelensky Changes Attitude! Ukraine Ready To Sign New Mineral Compensation Deal With America

Ukraine and the US are closing in on a deal that would sign over the country’s mineral rights in exchange for military support. According to The Wall Street Journal, the two sides were “nearing” an agreement and a deal could be signed as soon as Saturday.

However, the exact terms of the deal currently remain unclear.

The oil market meltdown in recent days could pose risks to the Russian economy, Russia’s Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina said on Tuesday.

The escalation of the tariff wars could negatively affect Russia’s economy, TASS news agency quoted the governor as telling Russian lawmakers in parliament today.

“The main channel of influence may lie through fluctuations of oil prices, a decline of oil prices,” Nabiullina was quoted as saying.

“If the escalation of the tariff wars continues, this usually leads to a decline in global trade and the global economy and, possibly, demand for our energy resources. Therefore, there are risks here,” the central bank governor noted.

As the international oil benchmarks slumped by about $10 per barrel in just a few days, the price of Russia’s flagship Urals crude grade tumbled and is close to the $50 per barrel threshold for the first time in nearly two years.

As the price of the flagship Russian crude was in freefall in lockstep with the international benchmarks, the Kremlin commented on the oil market rout on Monday.

The situation on the global oil market is extremely turbulent, which is related to the U.S. decision to impose tariffs on the majority of countries, Russian news agency TASS quoted Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying. The Russian authorities are keeping a close eye on the oil market selloff, Vladimir Putin’s spokesman added.

Thousands Protest EU’s Rearmament Plans For War In Rome

Huge numbers of demonstrators took to the streets of Rome on Saturday to protest the militarization of the EU.

The demonstration was against the European Union’s plan to spend €800 billion on military rearmament, with protestors criticising cuts to healthcare, education and labour.

The EU’s rearmament plan has opposition not only in Italy but across Europe, with many people questioning whether such a large investment in military resources is necessary or beneficial.

The rally was led by the Five Star Movement (M5S) political party and its leader, former Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, in protest at the bloc’s plan to use up to €800 billion ($875 billion) to boost the military industrial complex in the European Union.

“Today a great alternative to the Italy of rearmament, of cuts to healthcare, schools, businesses is born. We will stop them. All together,” he wrote.

Communist Klaus Schwab Stepping Down As Chair of Disgraced World Economic Forum

World Economic Forum founder and chairman Klaus Schwab is to step down, a spokesperson for the Forum said on Thursday.

Schwab has said the Forum, which meets annually at the Swiss ski resort of Davos, needs to rediscover its “sense of mission,” in a letter to trustee board members.

In a statement to the Financial Times, the WEF said Schwab would complete the process of stepping down by January 2027.

Controversy has dogged Schwab in recent months. Last year, The Wall Street Journal reported the Forum’s board was working with a law firm to investigate its workplace culture, after allegations of a “culture of harassment” and discrimination at the organization.

American Platforms To No Longer Service Brits and Europeans Due To Their Despotic Governments

Online forums based in the United States that rely on First Amendment protections are getting caught up in internet regulations in the UK and Europe, where they now risk being blocked under recent legislation.

Hailed by the British government as the world’s first online "safety" law, the Online Safety Act (OSA) requires online platforms to implement measures to "protect" (censor) people with far-reaching implications for internet services.

Gab, an American social media network, positions itself as a champion of free speech. Gab CEO Andrew Torba said in a March 26 social media post that the UK government has demanded that it submit to “their new censorship regime under the UK Online Safety Act.”

Gab — which has no legal presence in the UK — was informed in a letter from UK regulator Ofcom on March 16 that it falls specifically within the scope of the law and must comply. Gab has refused to comply with the OSA. “We will not comply. We will not pay one cent,” Torba said. Gab’s lawyers said that their client is a US company with no presence outside of the United States. “The most fundamental of America’s laws — the First Amendment to our Constitution — ensures Gab’s right to provide a service that allows anyone, anywhere, to receive and impart political opinions of any kind, free from state interference, on its US-based servers,” they said in a statement last month. Gab also refused to comply with legislation in other countries.

Web forum Kiwifarms said it also received a letter from Ofcom. The platform is now blocking users in the UK because of the legislation. “You are accessing this website from the United Kingdom. Wall Street banks have asked their hedge fund clients to pony-up more money as security for their loans because the value of their holdings had fallen as stock values dropped, according to three people familiar with the matter. Several big banks issued the largest margin calls to their clients since the beginning of the pandemic in early 2020. I am told these Margin Calls are "much larger than during the 2008 Great Financial Crisis."

The margin calls underscore the intense turbulence in global markets on Thursday and Friday as Trump’s tariffs announcement was followed by retaliatory duties by China, and other countries readied their own responses. Wall Street’s S&P 500 share index was set to post its worst week since 2020, while oil and riskier corporate bonds have sold off heavily.

The real danger of the stock market dropping like it is, is that as stock values drop, the Banks will make Margin Calls to those borrowers telling them they need to pony-up more money to collateralize their loans.
