Wow, they updated the stat screen. Also, level 10, what happened? You were level 6 last time. That 50 SP is also new. "What happened while I was out?" you ask yourself.

I tried to organize stats a bit, I'm thinking about adding some extra stuff to calculate modifiers based on it like, we'd need different ATK/DEF stats for magic, melee and ranged. Neptunia has STR/VIT for physical and INT/MEN for magic, but I think ranged should be different than melee. Or maybe I'm just overreacting again. And correct me if I fucked up summarizing the inventory.

Alright. Now it's only question how many spells Anon can safely cast in fight and finding fast method to raise max SP.

I admit I will be happy to use even more crazy images for spells though. I will wait up to 50-70+ level or so to do that again, so don't worry.

After finishing the pudding, you stand up and follow IF to a different room.

The circumstances are still unclear. Second, Histoire finished translating that text you found in the prison, it describes the old Goddess who after losing her mind, built it and used it to confine people whom she deemed dangerous to her hegemony. It was a top secret building, guarded by a spell so it remained invisible to people who didn't know about it. Inside, it was the worst torture chamber in the history, the Goddess used the prisoners as tools to play out her darkest fantasies. The paper goes into great details to describe the torments, Histoire has a complete translation, ask her if you're interested, I don't want to go into details. It didn't have info about what happened after the old CPU fell, but we decided even if G.S. only have access to 1% of the original equipment, that's still to dangerous, so we decided to raid the place yesterday afternoon. And here comes the catch, when we got there, the whole place was empty. There wasn't a single person there, no guards, no kidnapped girls, nobody. They also took all the equipment and furniture, only the walls, doors and some garbage remained. … Finally, you still don't have a place to live, we will have to do something about it."

You walk to a big market with various vendors, you can find anything from useless electronic toys to weapons and potions here. You follow IF to a small shop specialized in knifes, swords and similar close combat weapons.

"Here we are, take a look around. I can give you some advices, but you're the one who will have to make the final decision."

The shop is filled with knifes, daggers, swords, you can even find some claws similar to what IF have. Prices range from 1000 Credits to… 1,000,000 credits.

This is one of those magic shops that has everything, just decribe what you want provided it fits the shop's profile.

You follow IF to a small plateau, which is filled with peculiar creatures: they look like horses, but they have wings.

"Yes. Attach a pair of wings to a horse and you get a Horsebird. Fortunately they can't fly… but let's start with the training. You walk to the end of the corridor and take the stairs down to the basement. It looks like some kind of gym, there are big weights and various machines everywhere, with only a few people training here. Continuing, you go past a firing range and finally you arrive in a room with a few dummies, made from wood and clothes.

"Here we are… so first pick up your dagger. No, you should hold it like this…"

You try to follow IF's instructions, how should you attack depending on the type of the enemy and it's distance, and some random tips related to combat too.

This continues for about an hour, when IF finally steps back and says,

"Alright, that should do it for now. At least now you have a basic understanding on how to use a dagger. Is there anything else you want to do here? I think Nepgear said she would like to talk with you, so we shouldn't linger here for too long though."

You follow Nepgear as she walks out of the Basilicom and you get on the train. "I hope I won't regret this later," you wonder while riding the train. You get off at a quiet station with only a few people around.

"So this is the nearest station to the house. We'll have to walk from here. There's a small shop next to the station, you can buy some basic stuff like toilet paper, convenience food and a few games. For everything else, you'll have to go back to town."

The walk takes about 20 minutes, but your pace was pretty relaxed, so you can probably complete that walk in 15 minutes if you hurry a bit. You see a row of brick houses next to the road, you enter the second one with Nepgear, then you follow her to the apartment number 3.

"Ugh, what is this smell? Open the window!" She quickly runs to the window. "I guess this apartment was unoccupied for months and nobody entered it since. There's also dust everywhere, umm, sorry, but you'll have to clean it. Let's check if the equipment still works."

She opens the fridge, it's empty, but it also doesn't like to be in a working condition.

"Hmm, is this broken? … No, they just unplugged in, let's see…"

Back in your house, you decide to finish the cleaning up. You clean the bathroom, the furniture, there's a completely withered poor little plant in the corner of the room, you trash it with some other useless items you find lying around. You're almost ready when IF steps in.

You decide to cast a few Icicle Darts at the nearby Dogoos. You try to shoot an arrow while you cast the spell, but you fail horribly, you need a bit more practice before you can do it, but at least the darts slow down the Dogoos somewhat.

After casting 5 spells and a few arrows, you manage to defeat the first pack of 4 Dogoos, yielding 17 Credits and two Dogoo Jellies. Also, you leveled up!

You try to cast fire with your left hand and ice with your right, however things didn't work out as planned. Fire and ice quickly nullify each other in a violent explosion, that sends both you and IF flying backward, but leaves the Dogoos unscratched.

"Just what did you do?!" IF shouts at you.

You crash into a stone wall behind, causing an extra 5 HP damage. You quickly check your stats, it says HP 94/100 and SP 0/55.

"Oh shit, they noticed us, and the whole pack is after us. Let's double team them."

"Hmm?"

"Just follow my instructions."

It's a bit sudden, but IF quickly describes a new move and you start to train on the incoming Dogoos. You continue fighting the incoming monster horde until they disappear, you kill at least a dozen Dogoo if not more.

After the Dogoos disappear, you sit down on the floor and rest for a few minutes before you can even check your stats screen. Looks like you leveled up again, you're now level 14, with 23/110 HP and 5/60 SP. You check your Coupling skills, and indeed there's a new entry named "Apocalypse Inferno", and a new menu point called "Partner Ranks".

"Hmm, this is new, what could it be?"

You leave the small cafe and head to a different dungeon. As you guessed it from its name, it's an underground dungeon behind a small hill. You enter the cave, and you're immediately amazed. It's pretty dark, but you immediately notice a large hall packed with different kinds of monsters.

"Whoah, so many monsters."

You find a small group of Dogoos and cast the Icicle Darts spell at them, then you switch to arrows at, only falling back to the dagger when they get too close. They're indeed tougher than the previous ones, but not too much, you defeat them without problems.

You needed to kill 7 Dogoos to collect the required 5 Exhausted Jellies, you also gain 35 Credits, while you also lost a few HP, now you have 87/110 HP and 20/60 SP.

There are still a few Dogoos out there you can kill if you want, but the other enemies look too dangerous.
