I was thinking…with the next /icup/ starting to get brewed up (apparently), should we get involved? There's enough characters in this series to easily generate a team, but then again maybe there are some pertinent reasons not to form one. One I could think of is that, when the /v/ general is active most of the activity is on /v/ (which is in no danger of NOT having a team itself). But we still get 30-60 UIDs posting here when the general is cycled out…
Any thoughts on this?

I've never really heard of the icup until I saw a webm of /christian/ winning against /pol/ (I think) with the AWESOME GOD song and the thread that appeared on /v/.
I wouldn't mind having a discussion on this, especially considering that the Senran board is part of the icup.

For team uniforms, Neptune's outfit (Original HDN/RB1-wise) would be the home costume while Nepgear would be the away costume.
Reason I stuck with Neptune and Nepgear is because while Nepgear tends to have more support than Neptune in our threads, they are both pretty much the faces of the franchise (Maybe not Nepgear as much but still) and it would suit our board name nicely.
I can't think of anything else like the nicknames, the team logo, or the fanfares at the moment so if anyone has ideas, feel free to shoot

Yeah, it's more or less going to be Planeptune colors…although there's not as much to distinguish between her parka and Gear's…"skirt suit" thing color wise.
We need to have 24 person team IIRC. 2/24 of them are "gold-tier" characters with highly boosted stats, and another 2/24 characters are "silver-tier" with moderately boosted stats.
So I think our "Top 4" characters should have individualized themes. Naturally these would be Nep, Noire, Vert and Blanc (Nep & Noire gold-tier; Blanc & Vert silver-tier).
We'd also have the CPU Candidates in there, so that's another 4 characters. I suspect we'd also want Plutia, Pii and Uzume in there as well. Also IF and Compa. That'd take care of half our roster right off the bat.

As far as musical themes, since I was about to get to it in >>2951.
I don't know what would be a good theme for Neptune, there are several options. Maybe the remix of the Planeptune theme from Re;Birth1, although Smile Spiral could work too. For more drama the "Ancient Dragon" bit from the anime could work as well.

I'd suggest Noire's theme should be "Solid Park"; either the OG version or the one she uses from the anime. It's sufficiently action packed and not overly busy like some of her other themes.

Thats fine by me (Noire works good for gold since she also has more support on our threads than Vert or Blanc, Main CPU wise)

I'd think that both Arfoire and Brave are pretty non-negotiable. So both of them on board, instead of Red or Broccoli.
Falcom and Marvy have had a lot of development so they are sure bets. Same with 5pb and MAGES..
If I were to choose between Oracles or Makers with less development, I'd choose Oracles. But since there would be about three slots with that, make the three normal-size ones into players.
So that's 24 slots filled; all CPUs are represented, as are most of the Oracles (Histy's the coach or something) and the most noteworthy makers and foes.

I propose for team entrance to be either the anime OP (Dimension Tripper), Re;Birth 3's menu theme, or Re:Birth 1's OP
I like the general scoring idea for non-stars, I was thinking of the anime ED for the stars scoring (Especially with the "Here we go, way to go, Neputune!!" part)
Thats what I have on music anyway.
Designing the team logo might either be easy or hard, depending on what we're rolling with.

Oooh, forgot about that. That would work nicely, that's a very solid tune for a sporting event or in general for that matter.
The end theme would be a good substitute for Minicar. Its a shame as honestly most the players have their own theme but it'd be a hassle keeping track of them all.

Hmm. It looks like your chances of being included go up rather drastically the higher your board is on the list.
