I think that it is incredibly difficult for many mamonos to successfully disguise themselves as human boys in order to sneak into male-only areas like locker rooms to scope out a mate of their choice for later proactive dating, but that it would be fun trying to come up with the ways in which various mamonos would do so. I think there's a whole lot of suspension of disbelieve that needs to happen in order for the idea of a reverse trap to not seem completely retarded. Either the girl is beautiful and you can tell she's a girl from a mile away which would basically just make her a tomboy or she's ugly enough for you to believe her in which case she might as well just stay in her disguise for all I care.
In the end traps work like many other nice things only in 2D. And even then they fuck it up most of the time. I do enjoy myself a good reverse trap but most of the time they seem just a bit… off.
