i think bicc flame and joeyy are cool and i think that frank hassle can be funny but he's also sometimes unhinged and mean and comes across legit like he's going to attack people and it goes beyond being comedy to being like overly aggressive and scary. i'm not trying to be a pussy but just sometimes he very slightly crosses the line like when he actually physically touches people or when he makes them feel scared they are going to get attacked. not talking about boogie2988 but like when he yells or moves really fast or touches people in the grocery store and shit like that.

nick was ok this episode but he was a bit overly aggressive, cynical, and forced. at one point he literally said "i was trying to think of some quip to say but it escaped me" and that perfectly sort of described how it could have been better which is he could have been less manically fixated on making a dark gross joke every two seconds. again not trying to sound like a pussy and gross jokes aren't inherently bad but when its forced its ok to chill and just make conversation

This is why i like bicc flame, because he's a real nigga who just gives his thoughtful opinion on stuff and his soul isn't blackened like sams is so he counter balances sams cynicism rather then adds to it like with nick. it gives some levity and harmony and hope to the content. sam has said that when you get older you get more cynical with the world but when you look at sams shit from like ten years ago or even earlier he's still just as cynical and dark and he was around bicc's age back then.

this whole "bicc is shitty" stuff i think is old fans being freaked out thinking about how they are getting older and living in the past and holding on to something that has moved on. its normal and good for things to evolve and if sam made shit that was exactly the same as shit he made ten years ago it would be stale, even shit he made five years ago is different from shit he made ten years ago. i think its refreshing that they are a bit more thoughtful and positive and are talking more about stuff and forcing jokes less all the time.

like alot of sams shit like his stand up and shit was him experimenting and rapid fire telling half baked jokes so much that when it was funny it was really funny but there would also just be giant chunks of time where he wasn't exactly funny and just being unhinged and rambling about a joke that wasn't fully formed before he would legit abandon ship or just permeate this super ackward energy into the room and you would be laughing ironically at how hard he was bombing and how much he was making people uncomfortable. relaxing and letting the humor happen organically without forcing it and just talking about how the world works is pretty nice all things considered.

there will always be the old stuff to enjoy, its still relevant, and its nice to have something alternative to enjoy as well.
