Stuff I buy on Aliexpress still goes to the Post Office, rather than my door, so either way I have to leave the house.

Yop yop yop I buy everything online now. It's cheaper than local stores, and it gets shipped to you.

I used to buy so much stuff from Amazon solely because I obsessed over things. It would become my sole purpose in life to wait until the package arrived, but then I'd get depressed when it actually did.

I've never had this happen to me yet but in my earlier hikki years back when i lived with my parents my mom bought all the stuff i wanted off of the internet for me and i remember i always use to ask her everyday if my package had came yet and i would always get depressed when it arrived and it wasn't what i wanted.

Yay! My new arcade stick just arrived. It's a really crappy and old arcade stick, but it was 20€ shipped so I can't complain.

It's my first proper clicky joystick in twenty years, or so. Now I just have to get used to playing with one again. And to actually playing arcade style games everyday, which would be a huge improvement for me.

>>2984

I had a similar experience when I was a teenager and got my first decent income. I would buy books and records more for the joy of buying them than for the joy/use I would get out of them. I stopped it when I realized what I was doing. Then I had a similar phase in my early hikki days. I would buy cheap books, CDs, and DVDs, because spending an afternoon bargain hunting was fun enough that it could motivate me to leave the house. And now I also had much more time to actually enjoy the things I bought. I gave up on it due to depression and the entertainment industry becoming to shitty for me to bother with.

I can offer a low-res one from an image search. It's a PS3 era Lioncast. The worst part about it is that the buttons aren't real arcade buttons, but membrane switches. They work perfectly fine, though.

Mine looks like new and came with a warranty. I have got the feeling the seller was only selling it as used and for so little to finally get it out of his warehouse.

Can't find a picture of mine, because it seems to be kinda rare in the west (I guess not very many people imported this one from Japan), but it's a Hori Fighting Stick, the original. Exactly like the 2, but it doesn't have the switch and the button on the left, and it's not blue, but black. Other than that it looks exactly the same.

I didn't know that it was uncommon and I didn't know about the 2 and the 3, when I got this one, many years ago. I just wanted a good PS1/PS2 stick, since you can find PlayStation to anything adapters quite easily, so I knew I'd be able to use it on PC and any console that I got. Since I assumed I could trust old Horis, I bought it immediately. No regrets at all. I like it a lot. It didn't look like the previous owner even used it.

Kinda wish I had one of those huge Virtua Sticks for the Saturn, for two players, though. It's expensive as hell, but looks awesome, I'm sure that it's super heavy so it wouldn't slide on the table, looks just like the read deal, and it's cheaper than the actual cab. I could have used the second stick for Robotron 2084 on MAME. Or maybe turned it into a 4-way so I could play TGM and other games faster without messing up as much. Not having money sucks sometimes.

Because I collect unusual cartridges. Whether they have historical significance, like being made 100 years ago for a caliber that guns havent been made in for 90 years, or just being interesting to me.

Like, one of my dream cartridges is for the rocket-rifle that was made years ago. very accurate

Buy freeze dried food, at least one water filter, a USB solar panel or 2 + battery charger + batteries. You can do this thru Amazon or thru various freeze dried food websites. Convert your neetbux to gold if you can. Don't forget toilet paper and toothpaste and soap. You don't want fleas. And you better have a radio and a portable game system to pass away the time.

Congratulations, when the shit hits the fan you can bug in and be /comfy/ while everything goes fucking Venezuela out there. That's what I buy and I have ever since I got my autismbux 10 years ago.

Some of those freeze dried sites sell go-bag kits. That might be worth looking into. Also get yourself a nit comb. Even if you don't have fleas, they're really good at removing dandruff from hair. And if you do end up with fleas or lice (due to your fellow humans), then the nit comb pulls those things out of your hair.

bought pic related today because i spend most of my time on the couch and cables always get in the way. thinking about buying a wireless mouse next.

buying online is great with delivery to the door but the downside if you live alone like me is that it requires you to spend a great deal of time researching about what to buy online because you cant try out items so if you dont like something and you need to send it back it requires you to go to the post office. i really hope amazon will offer some sort of pick up service in the future for return items
