Childnet.
No, it's not a paradise for the mentally perverse.
It's what the children use, to separate them from adults.
Children do roleplaying, fantasy play, lots of silly art, and exploratory adventure into the mysteries of the machines and their minds, all on the Childnet. Without us.
And they are completely segregated from adults, separated from THIS internet that we're on now.
What we are using now? Access to google.com, 8chan, even any gateway to TOR, is completely adults-only, and children cannot access.
Children/parents are required by the government to install a filter, a firewall, that completely segregates them from the adult community, so that there is absolutely no interaction between them and us.
That is what is missing, and I mean that in a platonic sense. It's not that we need anything "questionably legal." No one here should be looking for mere immorality. That's not what the Old Internet was about either. What we're looking for is not sexual, but intellectual and creative in its nature. Something that is often lacking from our normal lives.
The truth is that adults are corporate drones and brainwashed cultists who don't have room for imagination or wonder. Everything they say is memetic and disgusting. Children invent memes. Adults cannot organically create memes.
Children invent "new ideas" that us adults cannot even ponder once we age out of that zone of creativity. It's a Peter Pan scenario, where once you leave Neverland, you can NEVER go back.
Although you could, if you could get onto the Childnet.
The issue is that the Childnet is likely incredibly boring for us, seeing as we actually are boring adults.
The old internet was children and adults talking anonymously, so no one knows who is who, and there's not even any perversion taking place, means insane levels of mental connectivity and overlap. That would be the sweet spot: The Old Internet. The absolute structure and logical capability of an adult mixed with the creativity and instinctive obviousness that a child possesses allows an unheard of synergy, and when you don't know it's just a kid, you end up actually respecting their ideas, as you should any idea that you wish to seriously ponder.
If some kid came up to you in real life and started trying to question you about politics, you'd just give them bullshit, easy answers that are generic and worthless. But if you think that kid is actually an adult, you'd give them serious conversation, and they'd actually learn something.
But now it's been isolated, and children without adults just act like idiots. There will never again be that random lone child who calls himself BloodPhilosopherXxX and learns advanced scientific techniques and philosophical concepts at age 12, and goes on to become a genius.
Instead, they get dumbed-down Youtube for kids garbage, and we get nothing but politically motivated adults trying to cram their shit down our throats.
This is truly not the Old Internet, nor is it even something in-between.
This current internet is an abomination, and will only lead to stagnation and death.
