Trying to install kali (replace my windows 10 64 based os hard drive with kali linux os) with rufus, it loads no fucking devices, no fucking target system/partition scheme... and I can't even click start. Any help?

Kali is for penetration testing (much like your boyfriend). Using that as your system software is like living in your tool chest. Get debian or some shit like parabola or slackware that were designed with the intent of you using a computer as a computer, not a fucking pentesting tool.

Try an Arch based distro actually meant for desktop use, like Manjaro. If you want pentesting tools you can always install things from the BlackArch repositories. They're even more current than Kali anyway.
